Abstract

One challenge in managing fire hazards in an urban setting is how to optimize the fire service route, increase the response time, and increase service coverage. Recently, this challenge is becoming imminent due to road traffic congestion and insufficient road widths that are common in populated cities in the Southeast Asia regions. One of the urban fire hotspots in populated Jakarta City is Pekojan Urban Village, Tambora Subdistrict. This subdistrict is served by Angke Fire Station located in Pekojan’s southwestern parts. Then this research aims to evaluate and compare optimized routes for fire vehicle dispatched from Angke Fire Station to serve 12 neighborhood units (in Bahasa is RW) in Pekojan. The method used the route optimization and network analysis tools in Geographic Information System (GIS) and its related geospatial data including neighborhood units, road networks, traffic congestion, and fire station locations. Geospatial network analysis of data by GIS has an advantage as a method to design and analyze the routing strategy and determine the most optimized route for fire vehicles. Based on the results and with the fire vehicle speed of 40 km/h, the average optimized route distances to travel from the fire station to RWs were 1.092 km (95%CI: 0.888-1.3 km) with an average response time of 1.638 minutes (95%CI: 0.869-2.41 min.). According to the GIS, model, response time of 1 minute only covers 22.77% of Pekojan areas. By increasing response time to 2 minutes, then fire vehicle can cover 98.9% of Pekojan area (AIC= 0.06). Despite the fact that the fire vehicle routes and response times can be optimized, those routes are challenged by the road traffic congestion. This congestion limits the speeds of fire vehicles to less than 20 km/h, as observed in 11.59% of the optimized routes. The service coverages of fire vehicles was also limited due to the narrow street.

Abstract

Abstract—The process of sorting tomatoes can be done using visual methods by paying attention to color. The purpose of this research is to improve the process of sorting tomatoes based on color in distinguishing ripe tomatoes and immature tomatoes. Streamline the time of sorting tomato fruit in order to avoid losses due to spoilage. This research method is with a sample of tomato fruit taken RGB value through TCS 3200 color sensor according to the level of maturity. After the RGB value is obtained, it will be processed into the Arduino Uno to obtain maturity information through the rules that have been made and sorted using a servo motor. The results of this study indicate that a good condition for detecting tomato fruit is with a closer distance to the fruit with a dark background. This is because there is no excess light reflection so that the TCS sensor can take RGB values well and reduce the occurrence of misreading of ripeness information in the sorting process. Keywords— Tomato, Sensor TCS 3200, Arduino uno, Motor Servo.

Abstract

Abstract

Employee job satisfaction is an important factor that can influence company performance and productivity. Employees who are satisfied with their jobs tend to be more motivated, loyal and have better performance. The aim of this research is to analyze the level of job satisfaction of PT employees. PLN NS with a hygiene factors approach. This research uses quantitative research methods. The data collection technique in this research is a survey conducted online using SOHO Form to facilitate data distribution and collection. Data processing and analysis was carried out using bivariate correlation and the Importance-Performance Analysis matrix. The research results show that the job satisfaction score is in the PUAS range, namely 4.01. Satisfaction scores for each region vary but are within the SATISFIED range. The highest was in the Nusa Tenggara – Maluku – Papua region reaching 4.59 and the lowest in the Kalimantan-2 region reaching 3.58. Meanwhile, the hope for work improvement score is in the PUAS range, namely 3.94. The improvement hope scores for each region are different but are in the SATISFIED range. The highest in the Nusa Tenggara – Maluku – Papua region reached 4.41 and the lowest in the Kalimantan-1 region reached 3.84.
