Abstract

Qualitative descriptive method was used in the analysis of directive speech acts of this study between teachers and students in learning Indonesian for the material for staging drama scripts at the high school (SMA) level. This study aims to describe the various forms of directive speech acts in high school (SMA) learning. The research method of this article is a qualitative descriptive study. The data source is the directive speech acts of Indonesian language learning videos in the classroom between female teachers and class XI students uploaded on the YouTube channel. The technique in this study to obtain data is a documentation technique in the form of note-taking. The results of this study include forms of direct and indirect directive speech acts. This study shows that in classroom learning there are many directive speech acts, and the more dominant speech acts used in the teaching and learning process in the classroom are direct directive speech acts. Researchers found as many as 19 speech acts. There are 18 direct directive speech acts consisting of 10 directive commanding speech acts on the target, 2 direct commanding speech acts with argumentation, and 6 direct directive speech acts asking for the target. Meanwhile, indirect directive speech acts were not found so much that only 1 speech act was found, namely indirect speech acts in the form of commanding with the mode of telling.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the ecranization of the novel "Winter In Tokyo" by Ilana Tan into a film directed by Fajar Bustomi. The research focuses on the forms of storyline, setting, and character ecranization in the transfer from novel to film. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The descriptive method describes the forms of ecranization manifested in the novel and film "Winter In Tokyo". The primary data sources come from the novel by Ilana Tan and the movie directed by Fajar Bustomi, with data collection involving reading, watching, and note-taking techniques. The results are presented using descriptive analysis techniques with steps involving description, analysis, and conclusion. This study shows that various forms of ecranization, such as additions, subtractions, and changes, affect the final result in the adaptation process of "Winter In Tokyo" from novel to film.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the humanist values contained in the novel Dilan 1990. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with research steps, including finding and collecting, determining, identifying elements, analyzing humanist values, and compiling reports of results and outputs. Data collection techniques are literature study techniques, listen and take notes. Data analysis techniques were carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. The results of this study indicate that there are changes in the form of variations, additions, and subtractions. The humanist values in this ecranization include humanist values in the family realm, education realm, friendship realm, and family realm and the context of friendship. The impact of humanist values that emerge are (1) the perspective of the Motorcycle Gang, (2) naughty students, but cute and smart, (3) attitudes towards spouses or girlfriends, (4) the aspiration to become wise parents, (5) become humanist personality is fun.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu bentuk konsekuensi dalam membangun wellbeing dalam ekosistem sekolah,  guru harus berorientasi, berkolaborasi, dan berupaya melakukan pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan (PKB). Akan tetapi, banyak guru yang belum bisa melakukan PKB, baik berupa kegiatan pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, maupun karya inovatif. Padahal, kegiatan penulisan artikel ilmiah ini adalah salah satu bentuk pengembangan diri bagi guru untuk meningkatkan kualifikasi dan kompetensi dalam mengukuhkan perannya sebagai guru profesional. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan upaya yang lebih komprehensif untuk dapat membangkitkan semangat guru melakukan penelitian dan menuangkannya dalam bentuk artikel dengan membuat sebuah komunitas belajar yang mampu menjadi inisiasi dalam membentuk ekosistem sekolah yang mengutamakan wellbeing menuju profesionalisme guru yang lebih baik melalui pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah dengan model lesson study di SMP N 9 Salatiga. Melalui pelatihan ini, guru-guru tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi profesional mereka dalam menulis dan melakukan penelitian ilmiah, tetapi juga berhasil menerapkan praktik pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan efektif di kelas. Secara keseluruhan, pelatihan ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana peningkatan kompetensi akademik, tetapi juga sebagai fondasi penting dalam membangun kesejahteraan yang menyeluruh di sekolah, menciptakan dampak jangka panjang bagi perkembangan siswa, guru, dan komunitas sekolah.

Abstract

This study examines the communication characteristics of speakers of the Javanese Ngapak (Brebes) dialect and the Semarang dialect in online interactions conducted via WhatsApp. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research analyzes phonological, lexical, and communicative variations that appear in cross-dialect exchanges. The findings show that Ngapak speakers maintain open vowel pronunciations and use distinctive lexical items such as nyong and rika, while Semarang speakers tend to use front vowels and vocabulary such as aku, kowe, and the particle lho. Despite these linguistic differences, both speakers communicate effectively through meaning negotiation and socially equal interaction. The results indicate that dialectal differences do not impede communication; instead, they demonstrate dynamic socio-linguistic adaptation among contemporary Javanese speakers. This study contributes to sociolinguistic and intercultural communication research and provides practical insights for dialect awareness, language education, and regional language preservation in the digital era.

Abstract

This study conducted an in-depth study of the sociolinguistic phenomena related to language switching and mixing in the lyrics of the popular song “Garam dan Madu” sung collaboratively by Tenxii, Naykilla, and Jemsii. Through the application of descriptive methods with a qualitative approach and the application of listening and note-taking techniques for systematic data collection, this study analyzed the sociolinguistic structures contained in all the lyrics of the song with a high level of depth. The results of the study showed four incidents of language shifting that can be classified into two main categories, namely internal language shifting and external language shifting, which provide an overview of the sociolinguistic complexity in the song's lyrics. In addition, the analysis of the phenomenon of language mixing shows the integration of languages in various forms, including words, phrases, and clauses, with a dominant tendency towards code mixing in the form of words, thus providing a more comprehensive insight into the sociolinguistic strategies used in the creation of popular song lyrics.   Penelitian ini melakukan kajian mendalam terhadap fenomena sosiolinguistik yang terkait dengan peralihan dan percampuran bahasa dalam lirik lagu populer "Garam dan Madu" yang dinyanyikan secara kolaborasi antara Tenxii, Naykilla, dan juga Jemsii. Melalui penerapan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif serta penerapan teknik simak dan catat untuk pengumpulan data yang sistematis, penelitian yang dilakukan menganalisis struktur sosiolinguistik yang terdapat pada seluruh lirik dalam lagu tersebut dengan tingkat kedalaman yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya empat insiden peralihan bahasa yang dapat diklasifikasikan menjadi dua kategori utama, yaitu peralihan bahasa internal dan peralihan bahasa eksternal, yang memberikan gambaran tentang kompleksitas sosiolinguistik dalam lirik lagu tersebut. Selain itu, analisis terhadap fenomena percampuran bahasa menunjukkan adanya integrasi bahasa dalam berbagai bentuk, termasuk kata, frasa, dan klausa, dengan kecenderungan dominan pada percampuran kode yang berbentuk kata, sehingga memberikan wawasan yang lebih komprehensif tentang strategi sosiolinguistik yang digunakan dalam penciptaan lirik lagu populer.
