Abstract

This drill method aims to determine the effect of drill training on shooting accuracy in futsal games. This study aims to determine the effect of drill training on the futsal shooting accuracy of extracurricular players at SMAN 1 Bongas. This study uses a quantitative experimental method and sampling using Saturated Sampling with a sample of 20 people. The instrument in this study uses a shooting skills test. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of drill training on the futsal shooting accuracy of extracurricular players at SMAN 1 Bongas with a hypothesis test value of 19.62 and a t table of 2.10 with sig. 1962 > 2.10, so there is an effect of drill training on the shooting accuracy of futsal players.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of plyometric training on leg muscle power in futsal players. The research method used was an experimental method. The research method used was a pre-experimental design. The design was a one-group pretest-posttest design. Participants in this study were 13 members of the futsal extracurricular at SMAN 1 Gegesik. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a standing board jump test. The results revealed that there was a significant effect of plyometric training on leg muscle power in futsal players.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a kickboard as a training aid on basic freestyle swimming technique. An experimental research method was employed, specifically a pre-experimental design using the one-group pretestposttest format. The study population consisted of 20 HSC swimmers, selected via purposive sampling. A freestyle swimming basic technique assessment tool served as the research instrument. The results indicate that the use of a kickboard as a training aid has a significant effect on basic freestyle swimming technique.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the circuit training method on improving the agility of basketball players. This study employs a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The participants consisted of all 20 students enrolled in the basketball extracurricular program at SMA NU Kaplongan. Data analysis included the calculating of means, standard deviation, variance, normality test, and hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test. The results and discussion indicate that circuit training is effective in improving physical agility, yielding an average impovement of 0.72 seconds. This finding addresses the research problem by demonstrating that circuit training involving varied movements and high intensity is more effective in improving agility. The conclusion of this study is that circuit training can significantly improve agility in basketball players.

Abstract

This study investigated the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on football passing ability using a pre-experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, in which 25 eighth-grade students selected through purposive sampling participated in 12 Jigsaw-based instructional sessions over ten weeks. Data were collected using a passing skill test assessing three technique phases — initial stance, foot-to-ball contact, and follow-through — and analysed through descriptive statistics, the Liliefors normality test, and a paired T-test (α = 0.05). The results showed a pretest mean of 20.3 (SD = 3.98; Var = 15.8) and a posttest mean of 34.2 (SD = 4.90; Var = 24.1), yielding a mean gain score of 13.92, with all distributions confirmed as normal (pretest: L = 0.821; posttest: L = 0.960; both exceeding L-table = 0.173). Hypothesis testing returned T-calc = 9.64, which exceeded T-table = 2.06, indicating a statistically significant improvement and confirming that the Jigsaw learning model effectively enhanced football passing ability, thus supporting the integration of cooperative learning strategies in physical education to promote active student engagement and multi-component skill mastery.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of plyometric training methods on increasing short-sleeve muscle power in futsal players. The research method used in this study was an experiment. The research design used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used was 20 female extracurricular futsal players from SMA Negeri 1 Losarang. The test instrument used in this study was a vertical jump test with three trials. The treatment provided in this study consisted of 18 sessions: 16 sessions for plyometric training and two sessions for the pretest (initial test) and posttest (final test). Based on the data management and analysis related to the research results, the results of the paired t-test for the mean showed a calculated t of 6.575 and a table t of 2.10, with a significance level of 6.575 > 2.10, thus declaring the data significant. The results of this study can be concluded that the plyometric training method has an effect on increasing neck muscle power in futsal players.
