Abstract

Background SIMRS is a communication information technology system that processes and integrates the entire flow of hospital service processes in forms of coordination network, reporting and administrative procedures to obtain precise and accurate information and is part of the Health Information System. The purpose of this study was to identify how to implement computer-based administrative information systems to improve service quality performance in hospitals. The method applied in this study was a literature study to examine journal articles regarding the Implementation of Computer-Based Administrative Information Systems to Improve Service Quality Performance in Hospitals, data collection used was secondary data. The results of 20 literature journal articles study showed that the implementation of SIMRS has not run efficiently or has problems. This is because the SIMRS implemented by the hospital was considered less attention by related parties and they have not properly prepared all related to SIMRS (i.e. many officers do not understand because there are no support, supervision and evaluation from the management and technology that has not been running maximally). Conclusion, based on the Literature Review on the Implementation of Computer-Based Administrative Information Systems to Improve Service Quality Performance in Hospitals were found there were obstacles in implementing computer-based information systems, including lack of personnel, less skilled, less disciplined and less responsible personnel, facilities and infrastructure constraints (less stable Wi-Fi network and crashed system) and obstacles from the management (no training and proper SOP). To deal with these problems, IT knowledge training to the employees, improving the system and applying proper SOP should be applied so that information systems can be implemented and used in order to help simplify the work and improve service quality in hospitals in the future.

Abstract

Health has a major role in improving the degree of community life, therefore all countries strive to organize the best possible health services. The purpose of the study was to analyze the responsibility of local governments for home care services at primary health care center. This research uses normative legal research methods with a conceptual approach. Reference primary legal materials and secondary legal materials. The article was retrieved from a scientific journal databaseThe development of home care among the community is better if balanced with the quality of service. Apart from various obstacles in its implementation, the existence of home care is very important for today's society. Because the fundamental problem that is often experienced is the number of referrals to clinics from the local area that require clinical care. Before the existence of home care, individuals with health complaints needed to meet face-to-face at hospitals, polyclinics, and other welfare administration units. After home care was established, individuals who wanted to initiate medical services could simply call the hotline provided, making it more useful for the local area to gain access to healthcare. It is believed that home care will be the first stage of administrative data collection before referral to hospitals and clinics.

Abstract

Background: Health promotion is key in dealing with extraordinary events or outbreaks. This approach empowers the public to understand disease risks, adopt preventive behaviors, and improve compliance with health protocols. Various health promotion interventions have been implemented in recent decades to deal with outbreaks such as dengue fever, influenza, and the COVID-19 pandemic. However, a systematic study is still needed to evaluate the strategies' effectiveness and identify existing challenges and opportunities. This study aims to systematically assess the role of health promotion in managing outbreaks, focusing on best practices, barriers, and opportunities for implementation. Methods: This study uses a systematic review method by following the guidelines of PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses). Data is obtained from major databases, such as Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed. Article searches were carried out systematically from 2019-2024 using several keywords, namely " Health Promotion ", or " Extraordinary Events ", or " Outbreaks ". The selection process includes identifying, screening, selecting, and analyzing articles based on predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria Results: Of the 2,000 articles identified, 45 met the inclusion criteria. Furthermore, it was selected into the 10 best articles by the author. The results showed that health promotion effectively increased public awareness, changed behavior, and prevented disease spread. Community-based interventions, digital media campaigns, and the involvement of local figures have proven successful. However, obstacles such as low health literacy, cultural resistance, and limited resources are still the main obstacles.. Conclusion: Health promotion has a significant role in preventing outbreaks. An integrated, adaptive, evidence-based approach to local contexts involving multiple stakeholders is needed to improve its effectiveness. By addressing existing challenges, health promotion can be a key pillar in preventing and dealing with future outbreaks

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Psychologically, pain during childbirth can cause mothers to have difficulty interacting, which can make it difficult for them to express their feelings. One non-pharmacological approach is acupuncture. Acupuncture points associated with reducing pain intensity during childbirth include BL 32. Research Objective: To determine whether there is a difference in the effectiveness of the BL 32 acupuncture technique on pain during childbirth in the first stage of labor. Research Method: Quasi-experimental with a pre-test and post-test design. The sample size used in this study was a minimum of 30 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling. The data were then analyzed using a parametric test with an Independent T-Test. Research Results: The pain level identified in mothers in the active phase I of labor before being given the BL32 acupressure technique intervention was 7.53 in the pre-test and 6.60 in the post-test, with an asym. Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001. Conclusion: There is a significant difference between the BL32 acupressure technique and the control group.
