Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan apakah terdapat pengaruh antara pemberian reward terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V di SD Labschool FIP UMJ. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Labschool FIP UMJ pada tanggal 18 Januari sampai dengan 12 Februari 2019. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 42 siswa, maka sampel yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu sampel jenuh. Jumlah sampel ditentukan dengan sampel jenuh sehingga sampel berjumlah 42 respondesn. Setiap siswa mengisi lembar kuesioner pernyataan dengan skala likert yang berisikan dengan skor 5 (sangat sering), 4 (sering), 3 (kadang-kadang), 2 (pernah), 1 (tidak pernah). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu adanya pengaruh reward terhadap keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA kelas V di SD Labschool FIP UMJ sebesar 60,6 %. Jadi nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05, maka H0  ditolak dan Ha  diterima, artinya adalah adanya pengaruh secara signifikan antara pengaruh reward dengan keaktifan belajar IPA

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan lingkungan hidup pada siswa sekolah dasar dengan mengembangkan bahan ajar tematik terintegrasi pro environmental behavior. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Develpoment (RnD) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Dick Carey and Carey kombinasi Rowntree. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari ahli bahasa, ahli materi dan ahli media sebagai validator, guru dan siswa kelas IV sebagai pengguna. Untuk data penelitian diperoleh dari uji coba produk. Uji coba produk dilakukan dengan tiga tahap, pertama uji coba perorangan validasi bahan ajar yang dilakukan oleh tiga orang ahli (bahasa, materi dan media). Kedua, uji coba kelompok kecil terdiri atas enam siswa dan satu orang guru kelas IV. Ketiga, uji coba kelompok lapangan terdiri atas 21 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil validasi bahasa mencapai 82%, uji validasi materi materi mencapai 96% dan uji validasi media mencapai 98%. Uji kepraktisan guru mencapai 95%, uji kepraktisan small group mencapai 84%, dan uji kepraktisan field tryout mencapai 93%. Keefektifan bahan ajar dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan lingkungan hidup menunujkkan skor rata-rata pretest 10,71, posttest 20,43 dan N-Gain sebesar 0,74 dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan data tersebut, maka bahan ajar tematik terintegrasi pro environmental behavior layak dan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan lingkungan hidup siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkuliahan daring yang sering terjadi satu arah dan kurangnya kegiatan yang menarik pada masa pandemic covid 19. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu pengembangkan perangkat media E-learning berbasis Google site pada mata kuliah Pendidikan IPA Biologi di SD. Perangkat media E-learning ini memuat bahan ajar pembelajaran Biologi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa pada materi Biologi. Metode penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang diadaptasi dari model Alessi dan Trollip yaitu planning, design dan development. Instrument yang digunakan terdiri dari ,validasi ahli, validasi materi serta respon mahasiswa yang diperoleh dari data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan uji validasi oleh para ahli, untuk ahli materi mendapatkan skor 97% dengan kriteria sangat valid, untuk ahli ahli media mendapatkan skor 93% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Keefektifan bahan ajar respon mahasiswa pada uji coba satu per satu mendapatan skor 88% sangat efektif   Hasil dari penelitian ini, merupakan sebuah produk LMS yang dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa dalam mempermudah pembelajaran secara daring. . Abstract

Literacy is a complex skill possessed by an individual to utilize potential and abilities in processing and understanding information through activities such as reading, writing, speaking, calculating, and problem-solving. With literacy skills, one can apply their knowledge and experiences as references for the future. As responsible citizens, the skills of cultural and citizenship literacy become crucial aspects that must be mastered by elementary school students. This is considering the students' character in discerning and selecting the noble cultural values of the nation as a basis for their attitudes, actions, and behaviors amidst the diversity of society, nation, and state. This research was conducted at SD Lab School FIP UMJ using the SWOT analysis method. The research results indicate that cultural and citizenship literacy has been implemented at SD Lab School FIP UMJ and plays a significant role in enhancing the cultural and citizenship values of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar pendidikan lingkungan hidup berbasis problem based learning untuk mahasiswa PGSD. Hal  tersebut didasari pada pemahaman dan daya analisa materi yang cukup  rendah pada mahasiswa PGSD UMJ, sehingga diperlukan bahan ajar yang lebih interaktif. Peneliti mengembangkan E-Book sebagai bahan ajar dengan memasukkan materi pendidikan lingkungan hidup dengan isu-isu kontemporer pada saat ini, sehingga mahasiswa dapat memecahkan masalah dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (research and development), dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Rowntree dan dikombinasikan dengan model Martin Tessmer. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu memberikan instrumen penilaian kepada ahli materi, ahli media, ahli bahasa, dan kuesioner kepada mahasiswa. Dalam uji one to-one memperoleh hasil 77% yang termasuk dalam kriteria efektif, small group memperoleh hasil 81% yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat efektif, dan field test memperoleh hasil 83% yang termasuk kedalam kriteria sangat efektif.  Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dari ketiga ahli dan uji coba lapangan, maka bahan ajar pendidikan lingkungan hidup berbasis problem based learning untuk mahasiswa PGSD dinyatakan sangat valid (86,73%) dan efektif (80,33%) untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan lingkungan hidup.

Abstract

Outdoor Learning is a teaching method that involves students learning outside the classroom, utilizing the surrounding environment as a learning resource. This study aims to identify the implementation of outdoor learning through the naturalistic intelligence approach in fifth-grade students at SDN Pondok Cabe Ilir 01. Naturalistic intelligence refers to students' abilities to recognize, classify, and understand natural phenomena and interact with their environment. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Observations of outdoor learning activities conducted by teachers and interviews with students and teachers were used to understand the impact of outdoor learning on the development of students' naturalistic intelligence. The study subjects included 30 fifth-grade students and the teacher conducting the outdoor learning sessions. The results indicate that outdoor learning aligns well with students' naturalistic intelligence, especially in recognizing various types of plants, animals, and other natural phenomena. Activities such as direct observation of nature and group discussions facilitated students' environmental awareness and enhanced their critical thinking and teamwork skills. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that implementing outdoor learning has the potential to improve fifth-grade students' naturalistic intelligence at SDN Pondok Cabe Ilir 01, while also providing a more engaging and meaningful learning experience.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the difficulty students face in understanding the concept of food chains, which is attributed to the conventional teaching methods still in use. Therefore, the researcher believes that the application of a new teaching model is expected to enhance student engagement in the teaching and learning process, ultimately improving learning outcomes. Natural Science is often considered difficult because of its many theories and the lack of variation in teaching methods, leading to poor student performance. Given these issues, an innovative teaching model is necessary. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' knowledge in the Natural Science subject. The research method used is an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design. The study population consists of 50 fifth-grade students, with 25 students in the experimental group and 25 students in the control group. The hypothesis tested is that there is an effect of the Problem-Based Learning model on Natural Science learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the Problem-Based Learning model has a significant effect on students' knowledge. This is evidenced by the t-test results, which show a t-value of 12.400, greater than the t-table value of 2.01. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model positively affects the understanding of food chain concepts in fifth-grade students. The findings of this study are expected to be beneficial for teachers in improving the quality of their teaching, for students to better understand the material through more engaging methods, and for the school environment in developing innovative and effective teaching practices.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited availability of instructional media in elementary schools, which encourages the need for innovations in the development of learning resources. The problem addressed in this research is the lack of interactive, web-based media for science learning, particularly on the topic of space and the solar system for sixth-grade elementary school students. The objective of this study is to develop an interactive web-based instructional medium and to evaluate its effectiveness in improving students’ learning outcomes in Science (IPAS) learning. This research applied a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE development model, consisting of the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research sample involved 20 sixth-grade students from Mawar Class at SD Perjuangan Terpadu Depok. The product produced in this research is an interactive web-based learning media on space and the solar system, created through Google Sites and equipped with learning materials and interactive features. The results indicate that the interactive web-based media is suitable for classroom use and has a positive impact on students' learning outcomes. The product’s effectiveness was measured through pretest and posttest scores, analyzed using a paired t-test, which yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant improvement. The N-Gain analysis showed a value of 0.79, categorized as high. Therefore, it can be concluded that the developed media effectively enhances students’ learning outcomes. The findings are expected to be beneficial for school principals, teachers, parents, students, and future researchers.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low cognitive abilities of students in science learning in elementary schools, which is largely caused by conventional teaching methods that do not actively involve students. To overcome this problem, the Team Assisted Individually (TAI) learning model is used, which combines a cooperative approach and individual learning to improve the understanding of science concepts more effectively. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the TAI model on the cognitive abilities of fifth-grade students of SD Islam Baitul Salam Ciledug on natural phenomena material. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design and a pretest-posttest control group design technique. The sample consists of two classes, namely the experimental class that uses the TAI model and the control class that uses conventional learning methods. The results of the study show that there is a significant increase in the cognitive learning outcomes of students who participate in learning with the TAI model compared to the conventional method. Therefore, this study is expected to provide an alternative effective learning model for teachers, as well as improve the quality of the process and student learning outcomes, especially in science learning.
