Abstract

Students need to be indoctrinated with the importance of having a decent Muslim personality. The Muslim personality is characterised by beliefs, attitudes, choices, and behaviours that are grounded in Islamic principles. As such, developing this personality requires more than simply education—it also requires modelling and habituation. Thus, the purpose of this research is to investigate and explain how Islamic culture shapes the Muslim personalities of MTsN 1 Probolinggo pupils. A qualitative descriptive methodology, akin to a case study, was used to collect the data. Data collection methods included documentation, observation, and interviews. Data reduction, display, and conclusion-drawing were used in the analytical process. The study's findings demonstrate that MTsN 1 Probolinggo implements religious culture in a number of ways, including communal prayer, Al-Qur'an coaching, infaq, tahlil, istighasah, and environmental care

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of management Human Resource Development at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) I Probolinggo which includes: Planning, Organizing, Implementing and Monitoring Programs Human Resource Development. This research uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. The data collected in this study through participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation study. The results showed that: (1) Planning for human resource development programs (teachers) is carried out at the beginning of the new academic year through workshops. The teacher development strategy uses a "make approach", namely education and training. (2) Organizing the HR (Teacher) program is carried out by forming a committee and division of tasks and responsibilities for program implementation. (3) The implementation of the HR (Teacher) development program has been running in accordance with the planning, and (4) Supervision in the implementation of the HR development program (Teacher) is carried out by the principal directly or indirectly through the report of the activity committee.

Abstract

Learning the yellow book has many benefits, especially in understanding religious knowledge. Which learning mostly uses the classical yellow book, because many Muslim scientists and intellectuals refer to the yellow book. This research uses a qualitative approach with case studies. The research method used is qualitative. With data collection techniques in the form of observation (observation), interviews (interviews) and documentation. This study aims to describe the implementation of the amtsilati book method in increasing students' aptitude and interest in reading the yellow book, in the Zaid Bin Tsabit (K) Putri Region and also to understand and examine events and problems that occur in the field. The subjects in this study were participants of the Takhossus Diny Bahrul Ulum amtsilati. The results of the research show that there are several tricks in increasing students' talents and interest in reading the yellow book, resulting in the following: First, providing volumes of amtsilati learning material in the form of teaching and learning activities (KBM) starting from volumes 1-5 and additional material in the form of Qoidati, Tatimmah, Sharfiyah. Second, teaching practice learning (Amtsilati Theory Practice). Third, the deposit of koidah and khulashoh amtsilati. Fourth, Discussion or joint deliberation (Munaqosah) on amtslati material. Fifth, Demonstration of amtsilati.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implications of internalizing religious values in enhancing character management in a public elementary school with religious diversity. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, using observations, interviews, and documentation involving teachers, students, and school staff. Data analysis was conducted thematically to explore internalization strategies and their impacts on students’ religious character development. The findings highlight that strategies like greeting others, collective prayers, and regular congregational prayers effectively instill religious values inclusively. Teachers’ role modeling through activities like home visits and donations fosters empathy and solidarity across religions. Reward and punishment mechanisms enhance moral awareness and intrinsic motivation. Christian students benefit from tailored activities, such as morning prayers and memorizing Bible verses, which promote tolerance. Overall, the internalization of religious values in a multi-faith school environment contributes to students’ moral, spiritual, and social development. The implications of this study for educational management emphasize the importance of integrating interfaith value internalization into character education programs. School leaders and educators should adopt inclusive strategies, such as role modeling, structured religious activities, and reward mechanisms, to foster moral, spiritual, and social development, thereby ensuring a harmonious learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how academic supervision helps improve teacher professionalism at MI ManbaulUlum in TanjungsariKrejengan, which includes the program, implementation, evaluation, supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the head of MadrsahIbtidaiyahManbaulUlumTanjungsariKrejengan. Through supervisory activities, madrasas can provide guidance, motivation and technical assistance to teachers with difficulties in learning activities to improve teacher professionalism. This research qualitative uses research. To collect data using observation data, interviews, and documentation, we spoke with the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa, and the teacher. The results of this research show that the supervision of a madrasa director in developing teachers' professional competence is going as planned. The effects of improving the professional competence of teachers include; mastery of materials, essential mastering competencies, developing materials, sustainably developing professionalism by taking reflective actions, and utilizing information and communication technology.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology is driving the world of education to continuously adapt, including in the teaching of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Technology-based innovations such as Augmented Reality (AR) provide new opportunities to deliver more interactive, contextual, and engaging learning for students. Through AR integration, abstract religious concepts can be visualized in three dimensions, making them easier to understand and internalize. This study aims to analyze the potential, capabilities, and challenges of implementing AR in PAI learning as part of efforts to modernize Islamic education in the digital era. The method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach through a review of various journals, scientific articles, and relevant previous research results. The results show that the application of AR can increase student interest in learning, strengthen understanding of spiritual values, and create meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences. However, the implementation of this technology still faces several obstacles such as limited digital infrastructure, a lack of technological literacy among PAI teachers, and the unequal readiness of Islamic educational institutions to integrate technology into the curriculum. Therefore, teacher training, policy support, and the development of AR content that aligns with Islamic values are needed for optimal and ethical implementation.

Abstract

This study describes the strategy of visionary leadership in improving the quality of teachers at MTs Al Husna. Teacher quality is a very urgent thing to pay attention to, considering that teachers are actors in the learning process. Quality learning is obtained from quality teachers as well. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. The informants in this study consisted of four people, namely, the principal, deputy head of curriculum, deputy student affairs, and teacher. Data analysis goes through three stages, namely, data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The research results obtained are comparative studies, need assessment, training and supervision.

Abstract

Pembelajaran al-Qur’an kepada para peserta didik di SMP Bhakti Pertiwi Paiton Probolinggo melalui Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) sekolah merupakan salah satu carauntuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam membaca al-Qur’an. Kegiatan pembelajaran al-Qur’an di TPQ di SMP Bhakti Pertiwi Paiton meliputi tiga bagian, yaitu membaca teks secara bersama-sama I selama 10 menit, membaca teks secara individual selama 40 menit, dan membaca teks bersama-sama II selama 10 menit. Selanjutnya, untuk mengukur kompetensi bacaan al-Qur’an siswa setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran di TPQ sekolah, guru melakukan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan fokus penelitian (1) Upaya yang dilakukan oleh Lembaga Pendidikan SMP Bhakti Pertiwi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an peserta didik SMP Bhakti Pertiwi Paiton Probolinggo, (2) Proses pembelajaran membaca al-Qur’an di TPQ SMP Bhakti Pertiwi Paiton Probolinggo, (3) Hasil pembelajaran al-Qur’an di TPQ SMP Bhakti Pertiwi Paiton Probolinggo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah program ini dilaksanakan, para siswa mengalami peningkatan kompetensinya dalam membaca al-Qur’an. Para siswa dapat membaca al-Qur’an dengan tartil dan benar.
