Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze an inclusive madrasah program as a form of partnership between the Educational Institutions Ma’arif NU of Central Java and Unicef. This descriptive qualitative study was conducted in Banyumas, Brebes, Kebumen and Semarang Districts. Inclusive Madrasah are carried out not only in schools and madrasah, but also in universities, namely in IAINU Kebumen and UNU Purwokerto, Banyumas. There are obstacles and opportunities for developing inclusive madrasah. Of these obstacles, inclusive madrasah have a great opportunity because have the support of various institution, communities, and even universities.

Abstract

This study reviewed 53 articles on Islamic education ideological networks in Islamic boarding schools in Aceh, Indonesia. This systematic literature review used the PRISMA protocol with the steps of identification, screening, eligibility, inclusion, abstraction, and data analysis assisted by the Publish or Perish 7, Mendeley, VOSviewer, and NVIVO 12 Plus applications. The search results obtained 544 Scopus-indexed articles, then filtered and 53 articles remained. The topic finding were: Islamic education ideology network, Aceh, Islamic boarding school, concept of Islamic education ideology, impact of Islam education ideology, Islam, pesantren, Indonesia, Islamic moderation, dayah, boarding school, which are directly connected, and Indonesian pesantren, anti-Muslim racism, formal religious education, Islamic culture, ISIS, terrorism, inter-religious relationship, Islamic religious college, cyberterrorism, deradicalization, curriculum development, curriculum, and dayah scholars. The findings of the articles were analyzed according to the topics defined through NVIVO 12 Plus and the results were described based on the research questions. The research findings explain that the ideology of Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools is a system of values, ideas, beliefs, and culture that is the basis for determining curriculum, teacher management, and learning. The ideological networks of Islamic boarding schools in Aceh are reform-modernist, traditionalist-Ahlussunnah Waljamaah, and Salafi-Wahabi which are developed based on typology, affiliation, characteristics, and curriculum. The ideology of Islamic education in Islamic boarding schools affects teachers, leaders, curriculum, learning, and society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran “pizza” dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada materi bilangan pecahan untuk siswa kelas 2 MI/SD di Kecamatan Tlogomulyo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengam desain survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket kepada 10 siswa dan 5 guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa sangat membutuhkan media pembelajaran “pizza” karena dapat meningkatkan pemahaman, motivasi, keaktifan belajar, serta kolaborasi di dalam kelompok. Siswa jga beraharap media tersebut memiliki desain yang menarik dan menyerupai bentuk aslinya. Di sisi lain, sebagaian besar guru menilai bahwa media “pizza” relevan dengan kurikulum, mudah digunakan, dan efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep bilangan pecahan. Mereka juga berharap agar media ini dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif , menarik, dan kontekstual. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini memngungkapkan bahwa media “pizza” memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di kelas 2 MI/SD. Abstract

Kondisi lembaga pendidikan di negara kita saat ini masih ada beberapa pemasalahan klasik yaitu kurangnya sarana prasarana sekolah, keadaan gedung sudah rusak, mutu tenaga pendidik belum memenuhi kompetensi dan kebijakan- kebijakan kurang produktif. Disisi lain sangat menggembirakan yaitu bahwa kesadaran masyarakat semakin meningkat akan pentingnya pendidikan yang bermutu. Pendidikan akan mencapai tujuaanya apabila semua syarat terkait komponen pendidikan terpenuhi. Dari beberapa komponen pendidikan, yang paling berperan adalah kepala sekolah. Kepala sekolah yang bermutu akan mampu menjawab tantangan perubahan zaman yang semakin cepat. Dimasa mendatang permasalahan pendidikan semakin kompleks, sehingga menuntut kepala sekolah untuk selalu melakukan berbagai upaya dalam meningkatkan kompetensi seluruh komponen sekolah. Pendidikan bermutu dihasilkan oleh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang bermutu, kepala sekolah bermutu adalah kepala sekolah yang profesional. Kepala sekolah profesional adalah yang mampu mengelola dan mengembangkan sekolah secara komprehensif (menyeluruh), oleh karena itu kepala sekolah mempunyai peran sangat penting dan strategis dalam mewujudkan visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah.

Abstract

The background of this research is the need for teacher innovation in developing digital-based learning media in Indonesian language learning. The research method used is research and development (RD) with the analysis, design, develop, implement, and evaluate (ADDIE) model, which consists of five research stages: analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation that present the results regarding innovation, features, applications, and the impact of using the benkangen game in learning Indonesian in elementary school. The subjects of this study were 25 teachers from 25 elementary schools, and 66 students from 10 elementary schools in Magelang district and Magelang city. The results showed innovation in the development of game applications based on Magelang local wisdom with game features in the form of puzzles of Magelang culture and local wisdom, Indonesian language learning materials packaged in the form of questions accompanied by the number of points in each answer, and audio that reflects local wisdom in Central Java. The novelty of this research is the development of the benkangen game based on Magelang local wisdom, which still needs to be developed by teachers in Indonesia. Future research needs to explore the innovation of Indonesian language learning games through the latest software.

Abstract

Implementing ICT education in elementary schools in the industrial era 4.0 is urgent. Several studies have explored ICT education in elementary schools, but few studies with systematic literature reviews remain. This article presents a literature review for 2019-2023 regarding ICT education in elementary schools. The Systematic Review Literature method and PRISMA protocol use Publish or Perish 7, VOSviewer, and NVIVO 12 Plus. The search results for Scopus articles contained 812, which were then filtered according to the theme to 61 for the study. The 61 articles were analyzed according to topic via NVIVO 12 Plus, and the results were described according to the research questions. ICT education in elementary school is a form of technology in learning to send, process, create, share, display, store, and exchange information. The characteristics of ICT education in elementary schools are ICT for online learning, communication interaction, digital media, software, inclusive, real-time, TPACK-based, and making students independent. The implementation of ICT education in elementary schools is carried out in learning, digital-based projects, curriculum, tools, and learning materials for Mathematics and language in elementary schools, which are supported by teachers’ digital competence. Future researchers must study ICT education in elementary schools according to technological developments.

Abstract

This action research aims to improve teachers’ ability to enrich, redesign, develop, and test the ahlussunah waljamaah (Aswaja) Annahdliyah curriculum in strengthening Islamic moderation in 25 madrasah ibtidaiyah (Islamic elementary schools) in Kedu Caresidenan, Central Java, Indonesia. The method used was participatory action research modeled by Stephen Kemmis, Robin McTaggart, and Rhonda Nixon, an experimental type of action research. The research findings state that Islamic moderation through strengthening the Aswaja Annahdliyah curriculum is carried out by enriching and redesigning the curriculum in the aspects of objectives, content/materials, methods/activities, and assessment/evaluation. The form of strengthening the Aswaja Annahdliyah curriculum is carried out by developing a curriculum by providing material on the basic principles of Aswaja, Ukhuwah Nahdliyah, and Mabadi Khaira Ummah in the aspects of fikrah (thought), aqidah (belief), harakah (movement), and amaliyah (worship practices). As a result, teachers know the depth and breadth of the curriculum in terms of objectives, content, methods, and evaluation at the level of fikrah, aqidah, harakah, and amaliyah, determining basic competencies, operational verbs, materials, material enrichment, and selecting appropriate learning models, methods, strategies, and media. Future research needs to explore curriculum strengthening for Aswaja Annahdliyah at the high school or university level.

Abstract

The background of this research is the potential for religious radicalism in mosques in Temanggung Regency. They are a radical group that has several ways to control the mosque. This article describes the strategy of the Mosque Organizers Institution Nahdlatul Ulama (LTM NU) of Temanggung in preventing religious radicalism in the mosque. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods namely interviews and observations. The results of the study stated that there were several strategies carried out by LTM NU of Temanggung in preventing radicalism. First, strengthening the management of mosque takmir refers to Aswaja Annahdliyah’s Islamic values. Second, revitalization of idarah, imarah, and ri’ayah management. Third, revamping the management structure of the mosque. Fourth, mobilizing the spirit of religious leaders to strengthen moderate Islamic studies. Fifth, the movement of NU coins (koin NU) in the mosque. Sixth, assisting the mosque when there are problems or not. Seventh, synergy between the Autonomous Agency (Banom) and institutions under NU. Eighth, the mosque’s clean movement. Ninth, identify local lector who are preachers at the mosque. There are several challenges and opportunities in implementing the strategy. The first challenge is the low understanding of the organizational management of mosque takmir. Second, limited religious knowledge from the mosque manager. Third, the structure of Aswaja Annahdliyah teachings has not been structured. Fourth, the massive offer of radical Islamic activities in NU mosques. Fifth, the doctrine is strong about the strategy of mastering mosques from radical groups. Sixth, infiltration of individuals / radical Islamic organizations. Seventh, the strong funding from abroad in the construction of mosques. The opportunity, first is the strong family culture in the community. Second, awareness of the dangers of radicalism. Third, the dominance of NU residents in the mosque’s takmir structure. Fourth, the massive implementation of mosque takmir training. Fifth, the existence of Islamic religious instructors in the villages dominated by NU residents. Sixth, the implementation of the competition for destitution management. Seventh, program support from autonomous body (Banom) / NU institutions. The impact of this strategy to prevent religious radicalism gave birth to the awareness of takmir officials to guard mosques from radical groups. While in the short term, the management of the mosque takmir is set up to 90 percent of the total mosques that have joined LTM NU Temanggung, and there are dozens of mosques that will join LTM NU of Temanggung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran “SIGADIS” (Diorama Sederhana Gerakan Air Siklus) dalam pembelajaran IPA kelas IV MI/SD khususnya pada materi siklus air. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survei cross-sectional yang melibatkan 10 siswa dan 5 guru dari sekolah di Kecamatan Kranggan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran “SIGADIS” sangat tinggi, dengan 14 dari 15 aspek berada pada kategori “sangat membutuhkan”. Siswa menilai media ini mampu menjadikan pembelajaran lebih menarik, interaktif, dan efektif dalam menjelaskan konsep siklus air. Selain itu, seluruh guru juga menunjukkan kebutuhan yang tinggi terhadap media ini terutama dalam hal pelatihan, desain, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, media pembelajaran “SIGADIS” sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, memotivasi siswa, dan memudahkan pemahaman konsep siklus air. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan dan penerapan media ini menjadi prioritas untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

Keterampilan menulis resensi buku ilmiah pada mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan program “Satu Semester Satu Resensi” (Tuter Tensi). Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan menulis resensi buku ilmiah pada mahasiswa yang dimuat di media massa. Penelitian menggunakan metode action research (penelitian tindakan) dengan empat komponen, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada 89 mahasiswa Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) STAINU Temanggung mengalami peningkatan signifikan pada keterampilan menulis resensi buku ilmiah.Pada tindakan 1, didapatkan hasil signifikan. Aspek menulis judul resensi sebanyak 70 mahasiswa (78 persen) tuntas, aspek menulis nama peresensi dan afiliasi sebanyak 87 mahasiswa (97 persen) tuntas, menulis biodata buku dengan ketuntasan 76 mahasiswa (85 persen), menulis isi resensi sebanyak 73 mahasiswa (82 persen) tuntas, aspek menulis kekurangan dan kelebihan buku sebanyak 78 mahasiswa (87 persen) tuntas, dan penggunaan Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI) sebanyak 75 mahasiswa (84 persen) tuntas. Pada tindakan 2, aspek menulis judul resensi sebanyak 85 mahasiswa (95 persen) tuntas, menulis nama peresensi dan afiliasi sebanyak 89 mahasiswa (100 persen) tuntas, menulis biodata buku dengan ketuntasan 86 mahasiswa (96 persen), menulis isi resensi 86 mahasiswa (96 persen) tuntas, aspek menulis kekurangan dan kelebihan buku 88 mahasiswa (98 persen) tuntas, dan penggunaan Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI) sebanyak 84 mahasiswa (94 persen) tuntas.
