Abstract

This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of fourth-grade students' persuasive writing skills through environmental posters at MI Ihyaussalafiyah. The primary focus is to investigate how students transform direct field observations into systematic and coherent text structures. This encompasses the ability to identify environmental issues, construct logical arguments, and employ effective persuasive vocabulary to influence readers. The study employs a qualitative case study method involving 16 fourth-grade students as subjects. Data were collected using the "observation and note-taking" (simak dan catat) technique to capture detailed writing processes. The data were then analyzed interactively using "identity and distributional" (padan dan agih) methods to comprehensively evaluate the situational context and linguistic structures produced by the students. The results indicate that field observations serve as highly effective empirical stimuli in triggering students' creative writing ideas. Students were able to transform environmental realities—such as leaking faucets and waste accumulation in the school area—into rational arguments and compelling calls to action. Writing assessment scores ranged from 76 to 92, placing students in the "Excellent" category, particularly in their ability to integrate textual messages with visual illustrations on posters. In conclusion, the use of environmental poster media has been proven to enhance persuasive writing skills and support the application of deep learning principles, including mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. This media is highly effective as a pedagogical tool for developing systematic, critical, and contextual writing skills for elementary-level students.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis fitur bahasa yang terdapat dalam dua puisi karya Joko Pinurbo dengan judul, "Doa Orang Sibuk yang 24 Jam Sehari Berkantor di Ponselnya" dan "Kepada Uang". Esensi dalam memahami gaya bahasa sebagai aspek utama yang mencerminkan nilai keindahan dan emosional dalam karya sastra merupakan latar belakang dari penelitian ini. Tujuan analisis ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan menafsirkan penggunaan gaya bahasa dalam puisi-puisi tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan stilistika, dimana peneliti dapat menemukan unsur gaya bahasa yang lebih dominan dengan cara menganalisis teks. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara membaca, mencatat, mengklasifikasi, dan menginterpretasi isi puisi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa majas yang digunakan meliputi personifikasi, metafora, simbolisme, ironi, simile, hiperbola, dan apostrof. Puisi pertama menjelaskan hubungan vertikal antara manusia dengan Tuhan melalui metafora komunikasi, sedangkan puisi kedua menggambarkan hubungan manusia dengan uang melalui simbolisme kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa bahasa figuratif Joko Pinurbo mengindikasikan keunikan dan kedalaman makna, menjadikan karyanya relevan dalam pembelajaran sastra sebagai bahan apresiasi seni dan refleksi sosial. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan apresiasi terhadap puisi Indonesia serta memperkaya pengetahuan tentang pembelajaran sastra di kancah akademik.Kata Kunci: Joko Pinurbo, puisi, gaya bahasa, stilistika. AbstractThe aim of this study is to analyze the language features contained in two poems by Joko Pinurbo. The essence of understanding language style as the main aspect that reflects the beauty and emotional values in literary works is the background of this research. The aim of this analysis is to identify and interpret the use of language styles in these poems. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through a stylistic approach, where researchers can find elements of language style that are more dominant by analyzing the text. Data collection techniques by reading, recording, classifying, and interpreting the contents of the poem. The results of the analysis show that the figures of speech used include personification, metaphor, symbolism, irony, simile, hyperbole, and apostrophe. The first poem explains the vertical relationship between humans and God through the metaphor of communication, while the second poem describes the relationship between humans and money through the symbolism of everyday life. The conclusion of this study confirms that Joko Pinurbo's figurative language indicates uniqueness and depth of meaning, making his work relevant in literary learning as a material for art appreciation and social reflection. This study is expected to increase appreciation of Indonesian poetry and enrich knowledge about literary learning in the academic arena.Keywords: Joko Pinurbo, poetry, style, stylistics.

The research methodology used is classroom action research (Action Research) using observation data, interviews, and documentation and classroom actions through two cycles including cycle I and cycle II for six meetings. The results and discussion of the study found the importance of mathematics learning by designing appropriate learning strategies. Learning strategies are related to learning techniques that will be presented such as mathematics learning techniques using creative and innovative games. It is proven that the overall data analysis on the average pre-cycle results reached 55% with the technique of recognizing numbers orally. Then, the cycle at the first meeting achieved an average result of 71.25% with a learning concept that combines story problems and playing number classification with number symbols. The results of the cycle at the second meeting achieved an average result of 77.5% with the concept of learning to arrange symbolic numbers and guess numbers and number symbols. Meanwhile, the cycle's third meeting achieved 89.5% success rate, incorporating the concept of learning mathematics through memory circuit games and learning mathematics through an outdoor setting. This demonstrates the success of children's critical thinking skills through stages of understanding supported by innovative and creative learning strategies. Metacognitive skills, as a form of critical problem-solving, contribute to the realization of the concept of enjoyable mathematics learning.
