Abstract

Diarrhea is one of the common public health issues, especially in areas with poor sanitation and unhealthy lifestyles. Preventive efforts against diarrhea involve not only medical interventions but also the importance of education on PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior). This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of increasing knowledge about PHBS in preventing diarrhea. The research method used is experimental with a pre-test and post-test control group design. The subjects consist of two groups: the intervention group receiving PHBS education and the control group without education. Data collection was done through knowledge questionnaires before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge about PHBS in the intervention group after receiving education, compared to the control group. This indicates that PHBS education is effective in improving the knowledge and understanding of the community in preventing diarrhea. The conclusion of this research emphasizes the importance of PHBS education in preventing diarrhea in the community. Structured and comprehensive education programs can be an effective strategy to reduce the incidence of diarrhea and improve public health overall.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Gagal jantung adalah kondisi medis di mana jantung tidak dapat memompa cukup darah ke seluruh tubuh sehingga jaringan tubuh yang membutuhkan oksigen dan nutrisi tidak terpenuhi dengan baik. Menurut WHO, tercatat 17,5 juta penduduk dunia meninggal akibat gangguan kardiovaskuler. Berdasarkan studi lapangan didapatkan data di ruang IGD Rumah Sakit Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung pada bulan Januari hingga Februari 2021 diperoleh data pasien yang masuk dengan CHF sebanyak 46 pasien dan tekhnik ACBT ini belum familiar dan tidak pernah dilakukan di ruang IGD. Tujuan : Dilakukan Asuhan Keperawatan Komprehensif Dengan Penerapan Active Cycle of Breathing Technique (ACBT) Pada Pasien Gagal Jantung Dengan Masalah Ketidakefektifan Jalan Nafas Dan Pola Nafas Di IGD RSUD.Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung Tahun 2021. Metode: Metode asuhan keperawatan ini adalah mendeskripsikan dalam bentuk review kasus yang menganalisis suatu masalah asuhan keperawatan pada pasien pasien yang mengalami gagal jantung kongestif. Lokasi penelitian pasien (Ny.S) dilakukan di Ruang Instalasi Gawat Darurat RSUD.Abdul Moeloek Provinsi Lampung. Hasil: Hasil review kasus  terhadap pasien ditemukannya keluhan utama sesak nafas dan batuk berdahak. Pada penegakan diagnosa yaitu jalan nafas tidak efektif, pola nafas tidak efektif dan penurunan curah jantung. Evaluasi kasus diagnosa tersebut yaitu masalah teratasi sebagian. Simpulan: Berdasarkan evaluasi pada perubahan kondisi jalan nafas dan pola nafas sebelum dan setelah dilakukan latihan ACBT adalah masalah teratasi sebagian. Kedepannya diharapkan agar tenaga kesehatan dapat menerapkan ACBT pada pasien yang mempunyai masalah jalan nafas dan pola nafas yang tidak efektif di IGD.

Abstract

Abstract: Diabetes mellitus has become an increasingly serious health problem, with the incidence rate continuing to increase significantly. The results of a preliminary study conducted by researchers in May 2023 on 10 patients with type II diabetes mellitus (DM type II) who were undergoing treatment at Prima Hospital showed significant findings. Of the 10 patients involved in the study, 8 reported frequent difficulty sleeping at night and feeling tired during the day. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between sleep quality and blood glucose in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted in July 2023 at Prima Hospital. The population was all type II DM patients who were recorded as many as 31 people from July to August 2023, with details of the number of type II DM patients who visited the poly in July to August 2023, totaling 31 people as well as the research sample.  The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used a research questionnaire. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between sleep quality (p value: 0.003) with blood glucose levels. It is recommended that the hospital can improve services, especially in the field of nursing care for type II DM patients.Keywords: Diabetes, Blood Glucose Levels, Sleep Quality.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious infectious disease that is a public health challenge in Indonesia. The disease is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and has a high rate of transmission, especially in environments with low health awareness. Increasing public knowledge and understanding of the prevention of pulmonary TB is a very important preventive step in reducing the transmission rate. The Community Service Program (PkM) aims to provide information and education to the public about pulmonary TB, including its causes, symptoms, ways of transmission, and prevention efforts. This activity is carried out with a participatory approach through counseling, group discussions, and distribution of health information materials. The main target is vulnerable groups in certain areas that have a high prevalence of pulmonary TB. The implementation method includes three main stages: (1) preparation in the form of identification of needs and development of educational modules, (2) implementation in the form of implementation of counseling sessions and interactive discussions, and (3) evaluation in the form of community knowledge surveys before and after activities. The data was analyzed descriptively to measure changes in the level of public understanding. The results showed a significant increase in public understanding of pulmonary TB, especially related to prevention through a healthy lifestyle, good home ventilation, and the importance of early treatment. The evaluation also revealed the community's commitment to implement the preventive measures that have been conveyed in the activity. In conclusion, information and education through PkM are effective in increasing public awareness and knowledge about the prevention of pulmonary TB. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out on a sustainable basis to support the national program to eradicate pulmonary TB in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of employees in the field of information technology and communication of the Bengkulu Police. To determine the utilization of financial reporting information technology in the field of information technology and communication of the Bengkulu Police. To determine the effect of employee performance on the utilization of financial reporting information technology in the field of information technology and communication of the Bengkulu Police. Sampling in this study used the Total Sampling technique. Data collection methods by conducting observations, questionnaires, documentation and literature studies. Data analysis techniques with Descriptive Tests, data quality tests, Classical assumption tests, and Hypothesis tests. The results of the study showed that the assessment results showed that employee performance in the field of Information Technology and Communication of the Bengkulu Police was included in the very good category. The results of this assessment indicate that the utilization of Financial Report Information Technology in the Field of Information Technology and Communication of the Bengkulu Police is included in the very good category. The results of the study obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which states that Employee Performance has an influence on the Utilization of Financial Report Information Technology in the Field of Information Technology and Communication of the Bengkulu Police..

Abstract

Pregnancy is a critical period that requires comprehensive knowledge and adequate health care to ensure maternal and fetal well-being. However, many pregnant women, especially in rural or underserved areas, often lack access to accurate information and resources related to pregnancy care. This community service program aims to increase pregnant women’s knowledge and awareness regarding essential aspects of prenatal care through community-based health education. The activity was conducted in collaboration with local health centers and involved 30 pregnant women from the X village area in the third trimester. The method used was interactive health education delivered through counseling sessions, visual aids, and discussion forums, facilitated by professional nurses specializing in maternal care. Pre and post-intervention questionnaires were used to measure knowledge improvement. The results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, particularly in Nutrition, danger signs during pregnancy, the importance of antenatal visits, and personal hygiene. Participants reported feeling more confident and prepared to manage their pregnancy after the intervention. This program demonstrates that structured, community-based education can effectively empower pregnant women to make informed decisions and adopt healthier behaviors, ultimately reducing maternal and neonatal risks

Abstract

Abstract: WHO estimates that preeclampsia cases are seven times higher in developing countries than in developed countries. The purpose of this study was to determine several factors associated with the knowledge of pregnant women to recognize the danger signs of pregnancy preeclampsia. The research design used in this study was cross sectional. The research was conducted in the working area of Kuwarasan Health Center. The research was conducted in August 2024. The study population was all maternity mothers registered at the health center. The sample amounted to 83 respondents. The sampling technique used Simple random sampling. Data analysis was performed univariate and bivariate using the SPSS program. The results showed a relationship between education (p value: 0.038) and information exposure (p value: 0.049) to the level of maternal knowledge. It is recommended for puskesmas to increase the prenatal class program for pregnant women routinely, provide health education, especially how to overcome or prevent the incidence of preeclampsia.Keywords: Information Exposure, Preeclampsia, Education.

Abstract

Rumusan masalah penelitian adalah apakah belanja modal berpengaruh terhadap aset tetap Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Bengkulu? Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh belanja modal terhadap aset tetap Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Bengkulu.Penelitian merupakan jenis penelitian kausal dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari catatan laporan keuangan APBD Provinsi Bengkulu serta dokumen lainnya yang berhubungan dengan belanja modal dan aset tetap. Dalam menganalisis data digunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan alat analisis regresi linear sederhana, koefisien korelasi product moment dan pengujian hipotesis dengan uji t.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa belanja modal berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap aset tetap Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Bengkulu, sedangkan tingkat kekuatan hubungan belanja modal terhadap aset tetap adalah kuat dan nilainya positif, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang searah antar variabel dimana kenaikan belanja modal maka akan diikuti kenaikan aset, sebaliknya penurunan belanja modal,diikuti penurunan aset tetap Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi Bengkulu.

Abstract

Kopi Arabika adalah tanaman tropis dengan harga jual yang relatif tinggi dan berfungsi sebagai sumber devisa bagi Indonesia. Kualitas dan produksi kopi Arabika akan terpengaruh jika rentan terhadap serangan. Penyakit yang terkait dengan perubahan iklim meliputi cuaca, suhu, kelembapan, tanah, perawatan tanaman yang tidak memadai, dan ketinggian tanah, dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi, permasalahan identifikasi dan klasifikasi jenis penyakit pada tanaman kopi dapat lebih cepat dan akurat. Metode kecerdasan buatan dapat diaplikasikan untuk membantu petani dalam mengidentifikasi berbagai jenis penyakit kopi, salah satunya metode Deep Learning. Penelitian untuk identifikasi dan klasifikasi penyakit pada bidang pertanian dengan menggunakan metode Deep Learning telah menghasilkan peningkatan yang luar biasa. Penelitian dengan memanfaatkan Deep Learning telah dilakukan untuk mendeteksi apakah daun tanaman kopi Arabica mengidap penyakit Cercospora, Leaf Rust, Miner dan Phoma atau sehat. Pengujian metode CNN dengan akurasi 94,2% dan Transfer learning Densenet-201 dengan akurasi 97,2%.

Abstract

The research was conducted to investigate the effect of mold diameter variation on the hardness and shrinkage of cast products made from aluminum scrap. Three mold diameter variations were used in the casting process: 50 mm, 70 mm, and 100 mm. The testing methods included shrinkage measurement, Brinell hardness testing, and dye penetrant inspection. The test results showed that the 50 mm sample had the highest hardness value of 52.09 BHN and the lowest shrinkage defect of 25.25%, while the 100 mm diameter sample exhibited the lowest hardness value of 48.72 BHN and the highest shrinkage defect of 28%. This phenomenon occurred due to differences in cooling rates during the solidification process, where larger mold diameters experienced slower cooling, resulting in coarser microstructure grains and a higher occurrence of shrinkage defects.
