Abstract

This study aimed to improve student knowledge and skills in Pencak Silat by applying project-based learning in a blended learning setting. The research method uses an experimental with a quasi-experimental design, involving a control group and an experimental group. The study participants involved 70 college students divided into a control and random group using a random sampling technique. The data in the study were collected by utilizing a questionnaire—data analysis using Paired Sample T-test method. The study showed that the Project-Based Learning model in a blended learning setting improves student knowledge and skills in the Pencak Silat learning process. It can be seen from the increase that occurred in the control and experimental groups. Thus, learning Pencak Silat through Project-Based Learning in a blended learning setting is an effective alternative to improving student knowledge and skills in Pencak Silat.

Abstract

The problem of human character, especially the younger generation, in this case students has become the main concern of the Indonesian nation. It is not only related to the sad empirical condition of the current national character, but also to the condition of the values ​​of Pancasila, which should be the identity of the nation's character. The aims of this study to analyze the values of character education at the Kompas Pencak Silat Academy. This research uses qualitative approach. Sources of information in this study can be classified into 2 (two) types, namely primary data, namely a collection of information obtained directly from the research location through the first source (respondents or informants, through interviews) and secondary data, namely data used to support primary data. The stages of data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The results of the study show character values ​​in pencak silat by caring for the training ground first, making sure that the training area is clean of garbage or so on before and after training, tidying up the items that have been used to their original places. In its establishment, this College of Kompas experienced ups and downs in the 1990-2000s and this college still upholds character values.

Abstract

Background: Low achievement and poor learning skills among current students. Research Objectives: This research analysed the project-based blended learning model on cognitive learning achievement and sports massage skills. Methods: This research is a quasi-experiment. The population was 9 classes (180 students) in the Department of Physical Education. There were 4 classes (80 students) of the samples in this study. A random sampling technique was utilised in this study. A post-test-only control group design was used. Learning achievement was measured by multiple-choice tests, and the skills were measured by a massage skills test. The data were analysed using MANCOVA with SPSS at a 5% significance level. Finding/Results: The research finding showed that (1) there was a difference in massage learning achievement and massage skills between students who studied with project-based blended learning assisted by interactive multimedia and those with direct instruction with a significance number of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05, (2) there was a difference in massage learning achievement between students who studied with project-based blended learning assisted by interactive multimedia and those with direct instruction, with a value of F = 8.400 and (3) there was a difference in massage skills between students who studied with project-based blended learning assisted with interactive multimedia and those with direct instruction, with a value of F = 13.817. Conclusion: It can be summarised that the project-based blended learning model could improve learning achievement and massage skills. The level of digital literacy has not been considered in this research; it is recommended that future research pay attention to this variable.

Abstract

Background: Motion-based learning, especially Pencak Silat material taught at the Senior High School level always presents challenges for Physical Education (PE) Teachers. Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the effect of project-based learning assisted with flashcards on students’ learning outcomes in learning Pencak Silat. Methods: Quasi-experimental was used as a research design by conducting pretest and posttest. There were 312 eleventh-grade students in this study, which was conducted at Senior High School of Laboratorium Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) and Senior High School 1 Sukasada. A simple random sampling technique was performed to select the sample of this study. One hundred twenty students were chosen as a research sample and divided into experimental and control groups. The data were collected by conducting pre-tests and post-tests. The instrument used in this study was the basic attitudes test of Pencak Silat. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively through inferential statistics (independent sample t-test) with the assistance of SPSS 22. Results: The results showed a significant difference between the post-test gained by the experimental group treated by project-based learning assisted with flashcards and the control group treated by conventional education. Sig proved it. (2-tailed) the post-test data was 0.01, indicating that the significant value was less than 0.05 as consideration. The effect size found through the calculation of Eta Squared proposed by Cohen was 0.08, categorized as a high level. Conclusion: It could be concluded that there was an effect of project-based learning assisted with flashcards towards students’ learning outcomes in learning Pencak Silat since this study is focused on learning.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran di masa peralihan membuat semangat dan minat belajar peserta didik menjadi menurun yang menyebabkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PJOK khususnya pada materi passing-control. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan produk video tutorial passing control sepak bola. Penelitian ini mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE yakni analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ahli isi materi, ahli media, dan praktisi guru PJOK. Metode pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner dan observasi. Teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif adalah teknik analisis data yang digunakan. Hasil analisis dari ahli isi mata pelajaran menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial teknik dasar passing dan control sepakbola memperoleh persentase 100% pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Tanggapan ahli media pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 100% berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Tanggapan ahli desain pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 100% berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik, tanggapan praktisi lapangan memperoleh persentase 97% berada pada kualifikasi sangat baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa video tutorial passing-control layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran di tingkat SMP khususnya siswa kelas VIII pada pembelajaran PJOK. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu media video tutorial passing-control dapat digunakan guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan passing-control sepakbola.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada peserta didik kelas IV, V, dan VI SD Negeri 10 Banjar di Kecamatan Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng pada tanggal 12 Desember 2023 - 27 April 2024 untuk mengetahui tingkat kemampuan Literasi Jasmani. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Literasi, termasuk literasi jasmani, adalah keterampilan dasar penting yang mendukung partisipasi aktif dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan. Literasi jasmani melibatkan motivasi, kepercayaan diri, kompetensi jasmani, pengetahuan, dan pemahaman untuk terlibat dalam aktivitas jasmani seumur hidup. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner PLKQ (Physical Literacy Knowledge Questionnaire). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan literasi jasmani peserta didik SD Negeri 10 Banjar di Kecamatan Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng, Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 berada pada kategori tinggi. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata hasil kuesioner literasi jasmani peserta didik sebesar 63 (79%) yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa banyak peserta didik yang memiliki pemahaman tentang literasi jasmani. Pada penelitian ini diharapkan tidak ada lagi orang yang malas untuk melakukan aktivitas jasmani dan menjadikannya sebagai kebiasaan. Untuk  memperoleh hidup sehat tidak perlu harus aktivitas yang berat dan susah, dengan selalu rutin dan konsisten melakukan aktivitas sederhana sangat lebih baik seperti program jalan kaki setiap hari.

Abstract

Background Problems: The recovery process plays an important role in maintaining athletic performance and preventing fatigue among players. Research Objectives: This systematic review aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current research on athlete fatigue recovery, including the various methods used to enhance recovery, the limitations of existing studies, and potential areas for future research. Methods: This study was reported according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). We designed the study using the PICOS strategy. We sourced the literature from established research sources in the Scopus databases. The final data used for this study consisted of 24 articles. Findings and Results: The main findings confirmed that aquatic therapies, such as hot-and-cold-water immersion (HWI) and cold-water immersion (CWI), along with a number of other alternative methods, provide a strong foundation for improving athletes' recovery and performance. In addition, various novel therapies such as curcumin supplements, electrostimulation, and high-intensity interval training (HIT) also offer great potential for accelerating athletes’ recovery. Conclusion: The findings from this study highlight various recovery methods that can help reduce athletes’ fatigue after competition or training. This study also noted limitations and provided suggestions for future research, guiding researchers to further understand and improve athlete recovery holistically.

Abstract

This research developed a flipbook-based e-module on the basic techniques of basketball passing and dribbling for 8th-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Sawan. The study designed, measured validity, and analyzed participant responses to the e-module. The ADDIE development method was utilized with validation from subject matter experts, design experts, media experts, field practice tests, and individual trials. The results of feedback from teachers and students indicated a positive response level in various trials. The Physical Education teacher's response reached 92% with suggestions to improve color quality and cartoon images. The individual trial response reached 76% with feedback to enhance image sharpness. The small group trial response reached 85% with recommendations to improve image sharpness and transition animations. The large group trial response reached 80% with suggestions to enhance text clarity. Overall, the flipbook e-module received positive feedback from both teachers and students, indicating the potential to enhance the learning experience, although some improvement recommendations were provided.

Abstract

This research aims to develop website-based learning media regarding volleyball passing for class V students at SD N 1 Sari Mekar. The type of research used in the research is development research with the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subject of this research were all V grade students at SD N 1 Sari Mekar. The instrument use is a 5 scale with quantitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Based on the research results, it was found that the percentage of content/learning material expert tests was 98% with very good qualifications, 97.1% for learning design expert tests had very good qualifications, 92% for learning media expert tests had very good qualifications, 82% for small group practicality test with very  practical qualifications, and the practicality test of a large group of 85% qualified verry practical. Based on the results of this research, website-based learning media regarding volleyball passing material for class V students at SD N 1 Sari Mekar is very suitable for elementary school (SD) students to use as a learning resource, so that it can improve learning achievement and learning quality

Abstract

Physical education, sports and health are activities that involve students in physical activities aimed at improving physical fitness and improving students' motor skills. This research aims to determine the visibility and effectiveness of Physical Education, Sports and Health Learning in Elementary Schools (SD) in Buleleng District. Descriptive - quantitative research type with a sample of 45 schools from a population of 75 schools. Using collection methods in the form of surveys, observations, documentation studies, interviews and questionnaires. The results of this research in terms of visibility and effectiveness in terms of visibility of teacher personality competence with a score of 7.88 in the "Good" category, learning implementation with a score of 8.76 in the "Good" category, lesson implementation plans with a score of 8.06 in the "Good" category, and the ratio of teachers to students is 1: 26.29 in the "Ideal" category. In terms of effectiveness, the grades of students in elementary schools in Buleleng District at school have been stated to be good in taking physical education, sports and health (PJOK) lessons. For the questionnaire that researchers gave to elementary schools (SD) in Buleleng District, the number of respondents was 621 people. With a total of 10 questions given from the results of students' views, if the total average of the questionnaires given to students in elementary schools (SD) in Buleleng District with a total of 621 respondents gave a strongly disagree answer of 0.3 %, disagree 1.7%, agree 54.7%, and strongly agree 44.0%. So it can be concluded that the visibility in elementary schools in the "Good" category and the effectiveness of physical education, sports and health learning in elementary schools has been carried out effectively and systematically. Suggestions for efforts to achieve the goals of Physical Education, Sports and Health in elementary schools must be adjusted to several elements such as learning objectives, student abilities, learning methods, learning materials, facilities and infrastructure available at school, learning activities and student comfort.
