Abstract

Background: One of the government's programs in family planning is the improvement of family planning services with long term contraception, but this was still hampered due to the high use of non-longterm contraception in Indonesia. Based on data from the Indonesian Ministry of Health, especially in Banten, it also shows that there is still a high use of non- long term contraception compared to long term contraception. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between age, occupation, knowledge, information on family planning services, husband support, culture, and attitudes of FAC women with the use of longterm contraception. Purpose: This study aims to determine factors related with long-term contraceptive use on Mekarbakti Panongan sub-district, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, in 2022. Methods: The method used an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was all acceptors recorded in the family planning register located in the working area of Mekarbakti Panongan Village, Tangerang, who use long term contraception and those who do not use long term contraception, which is 1,984 acceptors. Sampling using accidental sampling, where 96 samples were obtained. Results: Chi-square test results (0.05) for age sig-p value 0.050, work sig-p value 0.892, knowledge sig-p value 0.000, information by health workers sig-p value 0.014, husband support sig-p value 0.038, culture sig-p value 0.005, and attitude sig-p value 0.062. Conclusion: In this study, there was an influence of age, knowledge, information provided by health workers, husband support, and culture on the selection of long term contraception, while occupational factors and attitudes did not have an influence on the selection of long term contraception.

Abstract

Background : Early and exclusive breastfeeding is very important for a child's survival, and to protect them from various diseases that they are susceptible to and which can be fatal. Increasing evidence shows that children who receive breast milk have higher intelligence test results. Factors that can influence exclusive breastfeeding include breast care, knowledge, attitudes, mental health and family support. Objective : To analyze the factors of exclusive breastfeeding for post partum mothers at Hermina Kemayoran Hospital, Central Jakarta. Methods : Analytical survey research using cross sectional research design with a sample of 80 people, data collection using a questionnaire, processed and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis. Results : The study found that most of the respondents stated that they gave exclusive breastfeeding (80.0%). Chi square analysis found breast care (p value = 0.004), knowledge (p value = 0.516), attitude (p value = 0.116), mental health (p value = 0.940), and family support (p value = 0.010). Conclusion : There is a relationship between breast care and family support with exclusive breastfeeding and there is no relationship between knowledge, attitudes and mental health with exclusive breastfeeding for post partum mothers at Hermina Kemayoran Hospital, Central Jakarta. Suggestion : perform breast care and provide family support to post partum mothers

Abstract

Background: Breast milk is a good nutritional intake for optimal growth and development in infants and is given from 0–6 months without adding other foods or drinks. In 2017 in Indonesia, the national exclusive breastfeeding coverage, namely 55%, is still far from the target of 80%. Meanwhile, exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Bekasi City was 33.81%. Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of health education on the motivation of postpartum mothers in giving exclusive breastfeeding at the Jatiranggon Health Center, Bekasi City. Methods: This study used a pre-experimental design one group pretest posttest approach. Samples were collected using quota sampling totaling 30 postpartum mothers who breastfeed in the Jatiranggon Health Center area. The questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Result: Before being given health education, 53% of the 30 respondents had moderate motivation in exclusive breastfeeding. After being given health education, there was a significant 90% increase in the respondent's motivation. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test shows a value of 0.000, which means that there is a significant effect of health education on the motivation of postpartum mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion: Health education is proven to have an effect on increasing the motivation of postpartum mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. It is hoped that postpartum mothers will increase their knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding from various media and attend health education.

Abstract

Background: According to the Ministry of Health announced the results of the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) at the BKKBN National Work Meeting, where the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia fell from 24.4% in 2021 to 21.6% in 2022. Therefore, the Government of Indonesia has a target for 2024 for the stunting rate to fall by around 14%. So that the reduction in stunting rates is still far from the target set by the Government. Indonesia is still experiencing problems in nutrition and child development. UNICEF suggests that around 80% of stunted children are found in 24 developing countries in Asia and Africa. Objective: This study aims to determine the factors related to stunting in Cilincing Public Health Center, North Jakarta in 2024. Methodology: Descriptive correlation research with cross sectional research design. Population 74 respondents aged 24-59 months with purposive sampling technique. The instrument used to perform variable calculations uses a questionnaire. Variables include Immunization History, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), Exclusive Breastfeeding History, Parenting Patterns and Diarrhea History. This data was analyzed using descriptive statistics chi-square. Results: The research results showed that the number of health workers who experienced stunting was greater (68.9%) compared to normal ones (31.1%). There is an average value of stunted toddlers with a complete immunization history (56,%), good PHBS (66,2%), exclusive breastfeeding history (77%). ), less good parenting patterns (51.4%) and history of diarrhea with Diarrhea (60.8%). So there is a significant relationship between the factors history of immunization, PHBS, Parenting Patterns and History of Diarrhea (p value <0.05). Conclusion and Suggestion: The availability of educational activities for the Cilincing Public Health Center in providing education on the knowledge of parents of toddlers about the factors of stunting incidence at the Cilincing District Public Health Center in 2024. The Puskesmas can provide education related to food diversity/variety, especially sources of animal protein.

Abstract

Background: Report of the Director General of PP & PL Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (2012) until June 2012 it was reported that the largest proportion of AIDS sufferers was of productive age, with the most being aged 20-29 years totaling 13,761 cases (47.42%) of that age when viewed from the incubation period is classified into the adolescent age group, while the report from the Bogor city social service, is answered about 24200 the number of people with HIV-AIDS, in the city of Bogor alone there are 210 people with HIV-AIDS, some of them are street children who are registered in the social service city of Bogor. in 2006-2012 there were 6 street teenagers died while in 2012-2018 there were 9 people died due to being infected with HIV-AIDS. Objective: to determine the contribution of the frequency of HI-AIDS prevention behavior based on knowledge, attitudes, peer influence, and the relationship of attitudes, knowledge, and peer influence to the prevention of HIV-AIDS in the streets of Bogor City in 2018 . Methodology: This research design uses analytical methods with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all street adolescents who were registered in the Bogor city social service. The research sample was taken using random sampling techniques. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: The results of this study showed that there was a relationship between knowledge (ρ value = 0.009), and the influence of peers (ρ value = 0.008) on HIV-AIDS prevention behavior in Street teenagers in the city of Bogor in 2019. Conclusions and suggestions: knowledge, attitudes, and influence of peers influence HIV-AIDS prevention behavior in adolescents on the streets of Bogor. It is hoped that adolescents can further enhance their knowledge of HIV-AIDS. Keywords: HIV-ADS prevention behavior, attitude, knowledge, peer influence.

Abstract

Background: Community service is an activity that aims to help the community in several activities without expecting rewards in any form. Purpose: The purpose of community service is to educate mothers about the importance of paying attention to their child's weight. Method: The way community service works is by collecting data, determining problem priorities, preparing educational materials, demonstrations of making innovations, then conducting direct counseling to groups of mothers who have toddlers at RT 08 Kedoya Village. Evaluation is carried out by discussion or question and answer. Result: Based on the results of the implementation of community service counseling, there were 5 mothers who had toddlers with substandard nutritional status (BGM) and 11 additional participants including lecturers, midwives and cadres. This activity is carried out together with the team. The participants were very active during the activity with a question-and-answer session. The participants were also willing to accept innovation in the form of toddler banana smoothies (SMOTBANLIT). Conclusion: Providing innovation of toddler banana smoothies to improve digestion so that appetite increases so that they can increase the weight of toddlers with substandard nutritional status.

Abstract

Abstract Background: Health issues receive serious attention from various elements of society. One way to overcome health problems in the community is to carry out community service. Community service is an activity that aims to help the community in several activities to overcome the problems they face by actively participating in the health development process and increasing community empowerment without expecting rewards in any form. Purpose: Carry out community service activities by carrying out activities ranging from secondary data collection to intervening and evaluating field activities. Method: Community midwifery practice carried out by Midwife Professional Education Students of National University Batch 6 Group 5 with practice areas at Yusma Medika Clinic which was carried out at Duren Jaya Health Center, Duren Jaya Village, East Bekasi District, Bekasi City, has been carried out with the following stages: Orientation, Secondary Data Collection, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), Planning Of Action (POA), Intervention activities in the form of counseling on "Camil Manise" (Prevent Anemia in Pregnant Women with nutritious foods and Fe supplements) as well as giving herbal drinks "Camil Flowers" (Dragon Fruit and Honey Prevent Anemia in Pregnant Women), and ended with Evaluation, Closing. Abstract

Based on 2018 Bogor City Health Service data, hypertension is included in the top ten most common diseases in Bogor City, to be precise, the second most common disease after acute nasopharyngitis. Hypertension visit data increased to 47,373 or 19% in 2018 (Bogor City Health Office, 2018). To provide education related to hypertension in the elderly, the benefits and methods of making basil and cucumber jelly and to help reduce blood pressure during the remaining years of old age, especially for elderly women during menopause. Providing direct counseling and action to the elderly. A total of 40 elderly people received counseling about hypertension and received basil and cucumber jelly. Cucumber basil jelly is very effective to give to the elderly in reducing and lowering blood pressure levels.

Abstract

The frequency coverage of ANC I in the first trimester, at least I time in thesecond trimester and at least II times in the third trimester is 70,4% and the coverage of KIE provision during the first trimester ANC is 81,6%. Early detection of pregnancy can be used as an effort to increase the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women by providing early knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women by providing early knowledge about their pregnancy through leaflets. Objectives: to determine the effectiveness of educational information communication (KIE) leaflet media on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about for first trimester laboratory examinations at PMB T, Bogor Regency in 2022.Methodology using a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The research sample was 30 pregnant women who visited PMB T in Bogor Regency in the period March to June 2022. The research instrument used leaflets, SAP, and questionnaires.Results are the effectiveness of IEC leaflet media on knowledge (p value = 0.001 0.05), and attitudes (p value = 0.001 0.05) pregnant women about the first trimester laboratory examination at PMB T,s Bogor Regency in 2022.Conclusion is the effectiveness of educational information communication (KIE) leaflet media on the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about screening first trimester laboratory examinations at PMB T, Bogor Regency in 2022. It is expected to further increase knowledge and skills about the initial of the first trimester laboratory examinations by attending counseling, health education or consultation with health workers, so that they can carry out initial of first trimester laboratory examinations independently and correctly to improve the health status of their babies and reduce mortality. mother and baby

Abstract

Vaginal discharge is the most common complaint in women of childbearing age, with 8 0% of cases occurring between the ages of 15 and 45 years. Physiological vaginal discharge is at risk of developing into pathological vaginal discharge and can lead to complications, such as vaginitis and cervicitis. Betel leaves have the potential to be a natural remedy because of the content of eugenol chemical compounds that can ward off the fungus candida albicans. Turmeric contains curcumin that inhibits growth and kills pathogenic bacteria and fungi. This study aims to determine the effect of betel leaf and turmeric decoction on vaginal discharge in women of childbearing age. Quasy-Experimental Research Pretest Posttest with Control Group Design. The number of respondents was 30 women of childbearing age who experienced pathological vaginal discharge, selected by purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were a whitish questionnaire and an observation sheet. The average vaginal discharge value of women of childbearing age in the intervention group was obtained with a pretest score of 3.80 and a posttest score of 2.13. The average rate of vaginal discharge of women of childbearing age in the control group had a pretest score of 4.27 and a posttest score of 4.13. In the Paired Sample T Test, the p-value of the intervention group was 0.000. In the Independent T Test, the mean difference between the posttest group was 2.00 and the p-value was 0.000. There is an effect of betel leaf decoction and turmeric on vaginal discharge in women of childbearing age.
