Abstract

Gum rosin, commonly called gondorukem, is a product derived from processing pine sap, possessing significant potential for international market competition. However, the demand for exports from Indonesia has decreased annually due to the gondorukem's quality not meeting market standards. This study investigates the impact of turpentine concentration in the pine resin washing process on the quality of the produced gondorukem. The research was conducted in two stages: sap purification and distillation. In the sap purification process, 1250 grams of pine sap were dissolved using turpentine at 80°C, with varying turpentine concentrations of 27.5%, 28.5%, 29.5%, 30.5%, 31.5%, 32.5%, and 33.5%. This was followed by adding 5% oxalic acid, precipitation for 30 minutes, washing with distilled water, and separation. The washed oleo pine resin, weighing 1100 grams, was then distilled at 175°C for 2-3 hours. Results indicate that higher concentrations of turpentine lead to increased acid value, softening point, and color scale, resulting in purer and darker gondorukem. However, adding turpentine tends to reduce yield while causing fluctuations in nonvolatile parameters. The highest quality gondorukem was obtained at a turpentine concentration of 29.5%, with the following specifications: acid value of 191.24 mg KOH/gram, color scale of 6.9 (WW quality), softening point of 79°C, nonvolatile content of 99.23%, and yield of 75.08%.

Abstract

Live Worksheets, a technology-based tool that helps educators in assessing student performance, is one of the tools that facilitate teachers in designing electronic worksheets or known as E-LKPD. Live Worksheets allows teachers to easily create and manage electronic worksheets (E-LKPD) that are more interactive and dynamic compared to conventional E-LKPD which are usually printed and less flexible in terms of interactivity and content updates. In addition, the objectives of this study are to discover (1) the implementation of using Live Worksheets, (2) the perceptions of the teacher and students of Live Worksheets as assessment tool, and (3) the difficulties experienced by teacher when using Live Worksheets as an assessment tool. The method used is descriptive quantitative method by conducting observations, distributing questionnaires, and conducting semi-structured interviews. The participants in this study were one teacher and class XI IPS III which totaled 34 students. The results of this study showed that the implementation of Live Worksheets by teacher is done by distributing the available worksheets to students. The teacher's perspective on Live Worksheets is very positive because this tool is considered easy to use, effective, has good question quality, offers flexibility, facilitates grade management, is efficient, and provides good feedback. The majority of students also had a positive view of the tool. The perceptions are divided into three categories, familiarity and ease of use, learning experience and motivation, also effectiveness and skill improvement. The challenges are academic dishonesty, managing the behavior of very active students, and also designing her own worksheets. It is suggested that teachers utilize Live Worksheets’ features to create tailored materials, and students engage with integrity to optimize learning.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the cost of production, revenue and income shallot farm, as well as the  factors that influence of shallot production in Gajah Village Gajah District Demak Regency. Sampling technique of  respondents was done purposively. Respondents used in this research were 50 respondents. Data analysis methods used in this study are cost analysis, revenue, income and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data processing for own land obtained an average total cost Rp 27,329,496/planting season or Rp 49,112,867/ha/planting season. The average revenue is Rp 44,253,667/planting season or Rp 86,802,491/ha/planting season. So the average income is Rp 16,924,171/planting season or Rp 37,689,624/ha/planting season. For lease land the average total cost is Rp 36,701,625/planting season or Rp 56,736,125/ha/planting season. Average revenue is Rp 51,154,125/planting season or Rp 81,800.358/ha/planting season. So the average income is Rp 14,452,500/planting season or Rp 25,064,234/ha/planting season. Based on data analysis using multiple linear regression, it is known that the value of determination coefficient (R2) 0.934. The shallot production in Gajah Village Gajah District Demak Regency were influenced by several factors including; the land area, the seed, the fertilizer, the land ownership, and the shallot varieties.

Abstract

Local traditions often contain inherited prohibitions that carry cultural and spiritual meanings. One such tradition in Babatan Village, Diwek Subdistrict, Jombang Regency, is the prohibition against striking the gong during ceremonial events. This study aims to explore the ongoing existence and public perception of this prohibition in the context of increasing global influence. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the researcher conducted observations and interviews with local residents across generations. The findings reveal that older community members still hold strongly to the belief that the gong should not be struck, associating it with ancestral respect and mystical consequences. In contrast, younger generations tend to interpret the rule more rationally, yet continue to honor it as part of cultural heritage. These results indicate that local customs have not been completely eroded by modernity, but instead are undergoing a negotiation of meaning as society evolves.

Abstract

The formation of religious character in early childhood is the main foundation for building a generation of faith and piety. This study aims to describe: (1) the form of religious activity habituation programs, (2) program implementation mechanisms, and (3) the results of program implementation on the formation of children's religious character at RA Al Fatih Kuripan Sugihan, Cilacap Regency. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach with field research. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation with teachers and students. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the religious habituation program includes: daily manners assessment (including: reciting prayers before and after learning, before and after eating, saying greetings, shaking hands with teachers and peers), practical worship (including: wudhu practice, prayer practice, memorizing short surahs, and reading Iqra), and introduction to Arabic letters and exemplary stories (about prophets, figures, and kyai). The program is implemented routinely and consistently every day through habituation, exemplary, advice, and reward methods. The implementation is proven to be able to shape children's religious character as reflected in behavioral changes, increased discipline, and the formation of religious habits in daily life.
