Abstract

Stroke is a clinical syndrome that begins suddenly, progressively, in the form of focal or global neurological deficits that lasts 24 hours or more and can cause death. This is caused by nontraumatic cerebral blood flow disorders. The purpose of this study was to compare the effectiveness of active ROM and acupressure exercises on upper limb muscle strength in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients in the inpatient room of RSUD Dr. Haryoto Lumajang. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with the type of pre-test and post-test one group design. With a sample of 36 respondents with the Accidental Sampling technique and the test used was the Wilcoxon test. From the results before being given the ROM treatment, 11 respondents (61.1%) had poor muscle tone and before being given the acupressure treatment, 15 respondents (83.3%) had poor muscle tone. From the results after being given ROM treatment, 13 respondents (72.2%) had moderately good muscle tone and after being given the acupressure treatment, 14 respondents (77.8%) had poor muscle tone. The results of the Mann-Whitney analysis test obtained α = 0.003, which means that there is a comparison of the effectiveness of active ROM exercises and acupressure on upper limb muscle strength in non-hemorrhagic stroke patients. It is expected that patients with stroke will always try to practice ROM independently which has been taught by health workers, for the patient's family to participate and motivate patients to do ROM exercises to accelerate the healing of stroke patients. Abstract

ABSTRACTTraining Needs Analysis is a key point of effective training, where needs or gaps of competencies identified systematically and thoroughly to achieve training goals and objectives. In this study, a set of competency standards compiled into questionnaires, then assessed according to the guides' perceptions of importance and performance level at work using self-assessment. Respondents are 95 tour guides in Central Java. The research methods also employed field observation, document study, and interview with stakeholders related to the development of competency-based training. As a result, out of the 29 competencies measured, 26 competencies considered 'very important' and others considered 'important'. Meanwhile, from the performance appraisal, 93% of competencies rated 'good', one competency rated 'very well', and one competency performed 'good enough'. If it is assumed that very important competency value indicators are the same as very good performance, then most of the respondents' performance is measured 'under-value'. This represents the needed of training, supported by the results of perceptions from stakeholders analyzed using NVivo 12 Plus.ABSTRAKAnalisis kebutuhan pelatihan merupakan kunci pelaksanaan pelatihan yang efektif, dimana kebutuhan atau kesenjangan kompetensi diidentifikasi secara sistematis dan menyeluruh untuk mencapai sasaran dan tujuan pelatihan.

Abstract

Village economic development can be increased through the capacity and skills of the community in managing existing tourism potential, one of which is through tourist villages. Pandean Tourism Village as a new tourist village object has achieved extraordinary achievements. However, behind its success, the community is less involved in its management and the income from tourism village activities has not made a special contribution to the village's original income. Therefore the purpose of this study is to describe and explain the participation of village communities in the management of Pandean Tourism Village. The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation were then analyzed using an interactive data analysis model according to Miles and Huberman. While the research focus used is the theory of participation according to Cohen and Uphoff in Nurbaiti (2017) which includes a) the decision-making stage, b) the implementation stage, c) the results utilization stage, and d) the evaluation stage. The results of the study show that community participation in decision making is still low, but the community participates quite well in evaluation activities. The existence of this Pandean tourism village has benefited the village, administrators, district and especially the community. The community also actively participates in implementation activities, especially in providing material and labor contributions. In managing the Pandean Tourism Village, researchers suggest conducting outreach activities or informal activities to the community so that they are willing and brave to provide ideas, opinions and suggestions, establish distribution houses for MSME actors, the community is often involved in tourism village management activities and increase public awareness to care on environmental cleanliness.
