Abstract

PT Bali Ranadha Televisi (Bali TV) is the only local television broadcasting institution located in Bali. This study aims to explain the strategic management of Bali TV broadcasting programs in maintaining its existence as a local television station in Bali. The author uses descriptive qualitative research methods with broadcast program strategy management theory and analysis using Niche theory in media ecology. The research results obtained are (1)Bali TV program planning is consistent to create a local broadcast program that implements its vision and mission, (2)Bali TV produces its programs internally around 90% and 10% are the result of cooperation with other parties, (3)The execution of the Bali TV program has broadcast 47 dominant local broadcast programs including information broadcast programs, and (4)Supervision of broadcast programs is not measured by program rating research reports, program evaluations are obtained from audiences and advertisers. Abstract

Belief in the power of a mass media to convey something quickly and massive has been growing since ancient times. Song is one of mass media that use to deliver messages and also can use as to representing social phenomenon. Representation is a description or a sign of meaning in a message. By using song as a media, messages will be conveyed more easily. Like the moral values that contained in Gending Joged Nini. This song describes the fundamental moral values ??that we should have in life. The purpose of this study is to determine the representation of the moral values with the theory of Ferdinand De Saussure. This theory has principle that language is a sign system and devided in two parts, signifier and signified. Abstract

The ability of video clips to represent various kinds of social phenomena is used to create works to influence people's views, one of which is the issue of feminism. Ariana Grande released the music video for her song “God is a woman”, which includes a depiction of feminism. The purpose of this research is to see the representation of feminism in the video clip. This qualitative descriptive study examines data using the concept of video clips as a medium of mass communication, feminism issues, Stuart Hall's representation theory, and Roland Barthes' Semiotics theory. The results showed that the video clip of the song “God is a woman” represents postmodern feminism which is shown by the female character described by Ariana Grande who has freedom like men without trying to dissolve gender differences, who can express herself, who dares to fight patriarchy, and has power over her own body. Abstract

Advertising has an important role in a company as know as implementing various communications functions. Advertising can cause changes in the constructions of thoughts about gender stereotypes, stereotype about masculinity. This is determine the constructions of the man image that is formed in the Daihatsu Ayla advertisement version of ‘Habis PD Terbitlah Asik”. Which has a durations of 1 minute 25 seconds. Data are obtained through observation and documentations. In this study was using semiotics. The analysis show that the expression intended to be a representation of the male image is self-confidence, monologue of the male main character. On the other hand, this advertisement also illustrates that having a Daihatsu Ayla car does not necessarily change a man to follow the standards of masculinity that exist in society, however, a Daihatsu Ayla car can increase self-confidence by staying true to yourself.

Abstract

RUANG GURU is an online learning application from Indonesia made by Imam Usman and Belva Devara in 2014. Ruangguru developed an online learning system based on technology which offers virtual classroom, online test, learning video subscription, online private tutor and many other contents which are accessed in their application. One of their marketing techniques is by using advertisements. to attract potential users, they use public figures. RUANG GURU has some brand ambassadors to promote them, one of them is Iqbal Ramadhaan. This research aims to analyze the effect of Iqbal Ramadhaan as brand ambassador towards the learning attitude of students in Denpasar in using RUANG GURU application. This research uses quantitative associative methods with AIDA theory. The result shows that Iqbal Ramadhaan did have an effect towards students at the city of Denpasar to use RUANG GURU application but it was not significant

Abstract

Tourism in Bali is growing so rapidly that it continues to increase every year. The increasing number of foreign and domestic tourist arrivals leads to an increase in domestic services and promotions. Arief Yahya assessed that film had become a useful medium and contributed greatly to promoting Indonesian tourism. The aim of this research is to know how soap opera and film could be used as a means of promotion to know about Tourism in Bali and other state  problems: (1) How Broadcasting as a mass communication activity  functions as a medium of information, education, entertainment,  health, control and social control; (2) How to carry out the function of soap opera and film as a means of   promoting Tourism inBali;(3), How broadcasting also has economic and cultural functions. Theory  and Method: Symbolic  Theory and Method use perception and qualitative analysis which explore by watching the eat, pray, and love films and some soap operas whose shooting take place in Bali. They can serve as a reference for the industrial world to make films that can inspire audiences to come to the place or location of the film, and also a reference for tourists who would come to Bali.

Abstract

Desa Gulingan adalah salah satu desa adat di Kecamatan Mengwi yang merupakan peringkat pertama kecamatan dengan kasus tertinggi Covid-19 di Kabupaten Badung sangat berpeluang mengalami peningkatan kasus akibat transmisi lokal. Berdasarkan hal tersebut hingga saat ini belum terdapat hasil deskriptif yang mengkaji pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku masyarakat Desa Gulingan dengan sistem sosial kemasyarakatannya yang berbasis budaya dalam kerangka desa adat. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran tentang pengetahuan, perilaku, perilaku beresiko Covid-19 pada masyarakat Desa Gulingan dalam kerangka desa adat. Metode: Ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan studi potong lintang dengan jumlah sampel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi sebanyak 144 sampel. Hasil kuesioner disajikan dalam bentuk numerik dan kategorik dan selanjutnya dilakukan proses analisis secara univariat dalam variabel. Hasil: Responden penelitian didominasi oleh laki-laki (55,3%), berstatus pendidikan SMA/sederajat (62,3%), status pekerjaan terbanyak adalah pegawai swasta (42,1%), sampel terbanyak diperoleh dari Banjar Angkeb Canging (20, 2%). Hasil kuesioner yang berpengetahuan baik (51,8%) berperilaku baik (66,7%), dan terbukti/berpraktik baik (56,1%) dalam pencegahan Covid-19. Simpulan: Pengetahuan, perilaku, dan sikap pada masyarakat Desa Gulingan yang baik dalam pencegahan virus corona dengan menerapkan kearifan lokal yakni dalam kerangka desa adat di Bali.Kata kunci: covid-19, desa Gulingan, pengetahuan, perilaku, sikap

Abstract

Subak is one of the local wisdoms in Bali where subak is a social organization that specifically regulates the irrigation system used in rice cultivation, where members of this subak are farmers who own land or smallholders in a particular agricultural area. The essence of Subak is the method of equitable distribution of water. The study method used is the study of the philosophy of ontology, epistemology and axiology. About justice in the subak system. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that in the existing subak system in Bali, the justice system that is used, in the water distribution system to every farmer uses a combination or combination of Commutative Justice and Distributive Justice where the water distribution must include all paddy fields of each member, meaning all members subak get their rights, then the distribution is based on weighting, where the amount of rights received by each farmer is based on the condition of the land owned but the obligations are adjusted to the rights that have been received.Keywords: subak, philosophical studies, justiceDOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/nomosleca.v6i1.3960

Abstract

This scientific work aims to discuss public access to e-learning at Udayana University and its development as a center for cultural tourism studies in Indonesia in Era 4.0. As a result of the qualitative study, research data were obtained through observation, interviews with 12 informants who managed and managed e-library users at Udayana University, Denpasar, as well as study documents related to the research topic. The collected data were analyzed descriptively-qualitatively. The results of the study show that to support the teaching and learning process, Udayana University has developed an e-learning system that is equipped with an adequate e-library. Part of the academic community within the University of Udayana has used the e-library developed by the University of Udayana to support their studies. Udayana University has the potential to become an e-Learning Center in the field of cultural tourism in the 4.0 era today. It was recommended, that Udayana University e-library management continue to disseminate the existence of e-learning through community services and continue to strengthen e-library by continuing to update and add and reference "cultural tourism" according to the challenges of the development of tourism in the 4.0 era.

Abstract

Indonesia's young generation must be ready to become actors in the midst of global competition and free markets (AFTA) today. However, they must be prepared to face the challenges of the development of mass media that contribute to the formation of their personality. This paper raises the problem: (1) How is educational information management for adolescents? (2) What is the communication strategy that needs to be applied in shaping adolescent personality? The data collection process is carried out by observation, documentation study and in-depth interviews with 15 informants from among educators, observers of adolescent culture, managers and representative media observers. The results of the study indicate that information circulating from the internet and mass media today tends to be less educative. Among them are teaching violent behavior, not creative, luxurious lifestyle without effort, individualism and materialism. Furthermore, communication strategies undertaken by stakeholders are not yet synergistic in supporting the education and development of adolescent personalities. The implementation of media regulations that support education has not been effective, nor has the role of educational institutions, the role of families, and environmental conditions in society also been conducive to delivering healthy, intelligent, independent and responsible future generations. For this reason, effective information management and communication strategies to support the formation of future adolescent personalities need to be developed.
