Abstract

This study aims to analyze the damage that occurs on the machine using the FMEA method (case study: CNC Lathe Fanuc machine at the Laboratory of Department of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Engineering, University of Riau). The research method uses the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) approach by identified an error tree to search for the roots of machine malfunction. Continue using FMEA method in the form of assigning weight rating of Saverity (S), Occurance (O), Detection (D) and Risk Priority Number (RPN) to become a proposed improvement to CNC Lathe machine. The results of the type of damage (Failure Mode) machine was the tool replacement system (movement M 06) failed / not completed. Causes of damage ( failure cause) machine were the motor components faults incorrecly writing program to command tool and faults of components of the automatic tool changger. The proposed improvements include checking and providing oil / lubricant on motor and tool changger components especially moving and rubbing components, repairing and replacing the motor and automatic tool changger components if needed, repairing the program deadlock, removing the M06 commands on the program, repair and replace the memory card if needed. Therefore, it is necessary to perform checks / maintenance periodically, not only when experiencing problems only.Keywords: Lathe CNC Machine, FMEA, FTA, RPN, Proposed improvemet

Abstract

The quarterly data of 1989-4-2007:4 was used to analyze the factors the factors that affected the development of the corporate bond in Indonesia. Using the multiple regression method, the regression results show that the development of the corporate bond is affected by the real income, nominal interest rate, the emergence of the secondary bond market and rating agency. Real income, the emergence of the secondary bond market and rating agency havea positive influence on the development of the corporate bond while nominal interest rate has a negative impact on it. The emergency of goverment bond and economic crisis have no impact on the development of the corporate bond

Abstract

Ruang sebagai wadah tempat manusia beraktifitas, seyogyanya harus dikelola dan dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Pemanfaatan ruang yang sesuai dengan daya dukung, akan menciptakan keseimbangan dan kelestarian lingkungan hidup. Pemanfaatan ruang Sub DAS Expo melalui upaya pemanfaatan lahan yang optimal sangat dibutuhkan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan ekosistem yang ada, dan mempertahankan kualitas lingkungan, serta menjaga keseimbangan antara kegiatan masyarakat dengan lingkungan di Sub DAS Expo. Rumusan Masalah “Bagaimana pengaruh pemanfaatan ruang terhadap kondisi aktual ketersediaan air di Sub DAS Expo?” Sedangkan Tujuan penelitian yaitu 1).Menganalisis bagaimana perubahan pemanfaatan ruang di wilayah Sub DAS Expo. 2).Menganalisis akibat perubahan pemanfaatan ruang terhadap ketersediaan air aktual di wilayah Sub DAS Expo.3).Memberikan arahan pemanfaatan ruang guna perbaikan ketersediaan air di wilayah Sub DAS Expo. Jenis penelitian adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, menggunakan metode metode analisis spasial Sistem Informasi Geografi (SIG). Hasil yang diperoleh 1) Terdapat perubahan tutupan lahan di Sub DAS Expo berupa penurunan luas area kawasan hutan dan penambahan area pada tanah terbuka dan semak belukar, sedangkan penggunaan lahan untuk pemukiman, perkantoran, komersial dan industri tidak melampaui peruntukan lahan dalam pola ruang.2) Tingkat ketersediaan air di Sub DAS Expo didominasi oleh kelas ketersediaan air. 3) Berdasarkan hasil analisis tutupan lahan aktual dan recana pola ruang, maka arahan pemanfaatan ruang untuk perbaikan tingkat ketersediaan air wilayah Sub DAS Expo, yaitu (1) lahan yang dirubah kondisinya menjadi vegetasi permanen, (2) lahan yang diupayakkan menerapkan konsep agroforestry, (3) lahan dengan KDB/RTH 40% dan RTH 60%, (4) lahan RTH minimal 20% dengan sumur resapan, dan (5) lahan sempadan dan konservasi; dan di Distrik Jayapura Selatan dan Jayapura Utara Space as a place where humans operate, should be managed   and put to good use. The use of space in accordance with the carrying capacity, will create a balance and preservation of the environment. The utilization of the Expo Sub-watershed space through optimal land use efforts is needed to maintain the sustainability of existing ecosystems, and maintain environmental quality, and maintain a balance between community activities and the environment in the Expo Sub-watershed. Problem Formulation "How is the influence of spatial utilization on the actual conditions of water availability in the Expo Sub-watershed?" While the research objectives are 1). Analyzing how changes in spatial use in the Expo Sub-watershed area. 2). Analyzing due to changes in the use of space to the availability of actual water in the Sub-watershed area of Expo.3) Providing directions for spatial use to improve water availability in the Expo Sub-watershed area. This type of research is quantitative descriptive analysis, using the method of spatial analysis of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Results obtained 1) There is a change in land cover in the Expo Sub-watershed in the form of a decrease in the area of the forest area and the addition of open land and shrubs, while the use of land for settlements, offices, commercial and industrial areas does not exceed land use. The level of water availability in the Expo Sub-watershed is dominated by water availability classes. 3) Based on the results of the actual land cover analysis and the reconciliation of spatial patterns, the direction of spatial use to improve the water availability level of the Expo DAS area, namely (1) the land changed to permanent vegetation, (2) land cultivated using the concept of agroforestry, ( 3) land with KDB / RTH 40% and RTH 60%, (4) RTH land with a minimum of 20% with infiltration wells, and (5) border area and conservation; and in the District of South Jayapura and North Jayapura.

Abstract

In design of a vehicle that is comfortable and safe while driving and to improve work performance on a vehicle, there are a number of things to consider, namely the steering system, brakes, suspension and transmission system. In this research, the writer will design and analyze the transmission system in Asykar Proto Gasolin Energy Saving Vehicle. The study began by searching for car specification data, Asykar Proto then calculating the center of gravity, then calculating the car speed at each gear ratio in the transmission system, measuring fuel consumption, calculating the mileage on each gear, calculating net traction force, designing the transmission system such as shafts, bearings, sprockets, chains and analysis. Abstract

CNC machines are machine tools that can be operated automatically. Usually a CNC machine can only do one machining process, so it is considered less effective. Based on this, the researchers conducted some research on machine tools capable of carrying out two or more machining processes (CNC Hybrid). In manufacturing CNC Hybrids, one that must be considered is the machine work area and accuracy. In this study, testing was conducted to determine the value of the work area and accuracy of the 3 Axis of CNC Hybrid. Testing is done by making as many as 20 pcs of product samples each. Furthermore, the products are measured to determine the value of the work area and accuracy of the machine. For the 3D printing process the test results are obtained in the form of a work area of 30 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm and a level of accuracy of 0.35 mm and a deviation value of 0.6205 mm. As for the machining process, the accuracy value is 0.45 mm and the repeat value is 18.15375 mm with a deviation of 1.84625 mm.Keywords : CNC, work area, accuracy, precision.

Abstract

The Adyatma Urban energy-efficient car is one of the works of the Riau University Mechanical Engineering team. This car has been designed and built in 2020 to be included in the Energy Efficient Car Contest (KMHE) 2020. At the Energy Efficient Car Contest (KMHE), incidents often occur in the form of a vehicle rolling over when turning. This can happen because the level of security of a vehicle is not good, such as the stability of the vehicle when turning. This research is about analyzing the stability of the energy-saving Adyatma Urban car when turning. The study was conducted using a quasi-dynamic calculation method which analyzes vehicles that move dynamically, but are analyzed as if they were in static conditions. Performed on dry and wet asphalt road types, with variations in speed of 10 km/hour, 20 km/hour, 30 km/hour, 40 km/hour, 50 km/hour and 60 km/hour, with a turning radius of 16.25 m, 17.5 m, 22.5 m and 27.5 m and using the road slope angles of 1.145°, 2.29°, 3.43°, 4.57° and 5.7°. After doing research on the Adyatma Urban car, the best stability was obtained when the vehicle was traveling on a flat road. Where for the front wheels the maximum speed limit so as not to skid is 40 km/hour on dry asphalt road types and 35,05 km/hour on wet asphalt road types. While the rear wheel with a maximum speed limit so as not to skid is 39.74 km/hour on the dry asphalt road type and 34.88 km/hour on the wet asphalt road type. And the maximum speed limit to prevent rolling over on the front wheels is 12.92 km/hour and for the rear wheels is 36.36 km/hour.Keywords: stability, turning radius, road slope angle, skid, toppling.

Abstract

Bencana Banjir yang sering melanda Kabupaten Bone khususnya Kecamatan Dua Boccoe bukan hal baru. Dalam 20 tahun terakhir, Kecamatan ini sudah identik dengan kawasan banjir yang di sebabkan oleh curah hujan yang tinggi sehingga DAS Walanae meluap.  Penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif atau penelitian terapan. Penelitian kualitatif merupakan penelitian non matematis dengan proses menghasilkan data-data dari hasil temuan berupa Observasi Lapangan. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan Overlay (Superimpose). Dari hasil analisis data diketahui yang sangat berpotensi banjir ada 8 kelurahan/desa, yang meliputi Kelurahan Unyi, Desa Uloe, Desa Pekkasalo, Desa Kampoti, Desa Tocina, Desa Tawaroe, Desa Solo, dan Desa Matajang. Dengan seluas 131 km2, dan tinggi genangan eksisting ± 100-200 cm den periode genangan 10 jam menyebabkan Kecamatan Dua Boccoe sangat berpotensi terkena banjir.   Floods is one of disaster that often hit Bone Regency, especially Dua Boccoe Subdistrict. In the last 20 years, flood that happened in this sub-district caused by high rainfall so that the Walanae watershed overflows. The research conducted is descriptive qualitative or applied research. Qualitative research is a non-mathematical research with the process of generating data from the findings in the form of field observations. The analysis used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis using the Overlay (Superimpose) approach. From the results of data analysis, it is known that there are 8 sub-districts/villages with high potential for flooding, which include Unyi Village, Uloe Village, Pekkasalo Village, Kampoti Village, Tocina Village, Tawaroe Village, Solo Village, and Matajang Village. With an area of 131 km2, and an existing inundation height of ± 100-200 cm with an inundation period of 10 hours, Dua Boccoe District is very potentially affected by flooding

Abstract

Journal bearing operates, the relative motion between journal and bearing as well as lubricant form a lubricant film to prevent the direct contact between both surfaces of the journal and the bearing. The entire surface is separated by the lubricant film so that there is no direct contact between the two surfaces. This research was conducted to calculate the pressure and film thickness distribution using the Finite Difference Method (FDM) in solving partial differential equations of the Reynolds equation. The central difference scheme was used in this simulation because this scheme is more accurate than the other difference schemes. Some factors influencing the generated pressure and film thickness distribution were studied in this research, i.e. eccentricity ratio and radius of bearing. At the eccentricity ratio of 0.632 the dimensionless maximum pressure are 8.0952 which occurred at and the dimensionless minimum film thickness are 0.368 at respectively. This research also found that the greater the value of the eccentricity ratio, the greater the pressure generated between the contacting surfaces. Besides, the eccentricity ratio causing the change of the location of maximum pressure because, at axis rotation the central point of the journal and bearing center point shift with increase eccentricity ratio. Increasing of the radius bearing causes the decrease of the ratio of length and diameter of bearing (L/D ratio) and decreases the maximum pressure.Keywords: Journal bearing, Eccentricity ratio, Radius Bearing, Hydrodynamic Pressure, Film Thickness

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the carrying capacity of the environment for housing development in Baranti District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. The type of research in this research is qualitative research. The method of analysis in this study is to use a qualitative descriptive analysis using a Likert scale. The results of this study are that the carrying capacity of the environment for housing development in Baranti District, Sidrap Regency is able to accommodate a population of 30,785 people and the environmental carrying capacity for the next 20 years in Baranti District, Sidrap Regency is still able to accommodate residents in the area with a population of 33,932 people in 2041.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the pattern of distribution of agricultural land, the factors causing changes in the function of sustainable agricultural land and to control changes in the function of agricultural land, Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. This research uses quantitative methods. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the development of changes in land use in Pallangga District in 2019 was dominated by agricultural activities and dry land with a percentage of 54.49% and 27.90% respectively, while in 2022 there was a decline, where the use of agricultural land and land dry changed to 41.95% and 27.46%. As for residential land, it increased by 27.73%. Meanwhile, the factors that influenced changes in agricultural land use included: Land Requirement Factors, Social Factors, while economic factors and policy factors had little influence. Control over the conversion of agricultural land is carried out with a strategy of minimizing the opportunities for land conversion, controlling land conversion activities and providing instruments to control land conversion
