Abstract

Keberhasilan dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran ditentukan oleh penggunaan media dan teknologi yang sesuai. Model Tes Berbasis Komputer Moodle merupakan suatu strategi evaluasi yang digunakan untuk menentukan kapasitas dan kompetensi siswa lebih cepat dan lebih efisien. Studi deskriptif dilakukan terhadap 122 mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah metodologi penelitian dengan menggunakan program tersebut. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat banyak perbedaan secara statistik dengan menggunakan pendekatan klasik. Selain itu, analisis dengan menggunakan Model Rasch juga tidak banyak berbeda dengan analisis sebelumnya tetapi Model Rasch ini mampu melihat secara spesifik persentase kemampuan siswa dengan aitem, beserta aktivitas menebak jawaban tertentu. Skor dalam koefisien reliabilitas dan properti psikometri lainnya mengasumsikan bahwa model berbasis komputer ini efektif untuk melihat sejauhmana perubahan-perubahan dalam pembelajaran itu dapat dilihat. Hal lainnya yang juga ditemukan adalah bahwa faktor kesiapan dan pengetahuan siswa dalam menggunakan program komputer ini sama pentingnya dalam mendorong dan meningkatkan program dan kualitas pendidikan dengan model berbasis komputer ini.

Abstract

Trust is an important aspect in human relationship. According to previous research trust is influenced by 2 main attributes: personal (benevolence, integrity, and competence) and relational (support, closeness, and reciprocity) attribute. The study aimed to find a preliminary model to explain the association of personal and relational attributes in adolescent friendship. Two hundred and twenty participants (male=44.09% and female=55.91%) participated in the study. A survey method was used to collect the data. The design of this study was correlational design. Results from enter method in regression analysis show that six factors of personal and relational attributes influence trust at 44.5%. However, closeness had no significant influence on trust, so closeness was not included in the next analysis, the sequential analysis. The result shows that the relational attribute has higher influence on trust than personal attribute. Support and reciprocity factors which belong to relational attribute, has a higher contribution to trust in adolescent friendship than benevolence, integrity and competence – the latter three factors belonging to the personal attribute. Therefore building trust in friendship requires an emphasis on relational attributes of trust, especially that of support and reciprocity factors.

Abstract

Individu memiliki cara yang berbeda dalam merespon kesalahan yang diperbuat. Ada yang cepat memaakan kesalahan diri sendiri, namun ada yang butuh waktu lama atau bahkan membenci diri sendiri karena kesalahan yang diperbuat. Konsep penting terkait hal tersebut yaitu pemaafan diri yang ternyata berimbas positif pada kesejahteraan psikologis dan kesehatan mental. Pengukuran pemaafan diri kemudian menjadi penting untuk mendukung semakin banyaknya penelitian pemaafan diri. Namun begitu, meski di luar sudah dikembangkanbeberapa skala pemaafan diri, di Indonesia belum banyak ditemukan penelitian yang khusus mengembangkan atau mengadaptasi skala ini. Dalam tulisan ini, peneliti bertujuan mengembangkan skala pemaafan diri yang diharapkan menjadi alat ukur yang valid dan reliabel. Peneliti melakukan tujuh tahapan pengembangan skala yaitu: (1) penentuan konstrak ukur, (2) penyusunan indikator-aitem, (3) pengujian validitas isi, (4) uji coba, (5) uji lapangan, (6) seleksi aitem, dan (7) penyusunan skala final. Hasil akhir penelitian ini dihasilkan 13 aitem skala pemaafan diriyang memiliki daya beda berkisar .337 hingga .676 dan reliabilitas Cronbach’s alpha ditemukan .798 (dimensi mengakui tanggung jawab) dan .779 (dimensi memperbarui diri). Skala pemaafan diri juga memiliki struktur internal yang cukup baik. Hasil analisis faktor dengan principal component analysis pada 13 aitem didapat nilai KMO=.833, Barlett’s Test of sphrecity X2(78)=447.594, p.01. Dua dimensi pemaafan diri mampu menjelaskan sebesar 49.891% varian.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji kembali saluran irigasi yang ada apakah masih  bisa baik dan memenuhi syarat untuk Daerah Irigasi Seberang Kota Jambi sehingga kebutuhan air seseuai yang dikeluarkan agar bisa beroperasi dengan baik dan untuk mendapatkan dimensi saluran irigasi yang tepat. Irigasi merupakan salah satu sarana pemanfaatan sumber daya air yang berfungsi sebagai penyedia, pengatur dan penyalur air untuk menujang  lahan pertanian. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisa ketersediaan air adalah menggunakan metode Dr.F.J.Mock dengan pengambilan data curah hujan dari stasiun meteorologi Sultan Thaha Jambi / Kota Jambi tahun 2008 s/d 2017 serta data klimatologi yang meliputi suhu udara, kecepatan angin, kelembaban udara, penyinaran matahari. Hasil perhitungan evapotanspirasi potensial yang terjadi pada daerah penelitian diperoleh Eto maksimum pada bulan Januari sebesar 3,31 mm/hari. Kebutuhan air untuk tanaman padi pada bulan Januari 3,641 lt/dt/ha dan bulan Juli yaitu 6,411 lt/dt/ha. Hasil perhitungan desain saluran primer yang diperoleh dari debit rencana 0,935 m3/det. Penyediaan pengaturan dan pembuangan air melalui jaringan irigasi pada kawasan budidaya pertanian sudah sesuai dengan fungsi dan debit air yang tersedia memenuhi kebutuhan. Dimensi saluran primer direncanakan dengan bentuk penampang trapesium yang sesuai dengan tofografi setempat.

Abstract

Anxiety is a common problem especially in elderly people. Zikir, a remembrance to God in Islam, is believed in giving a comfort in people. This study examined the zikir as intervention in decreasing anxiety. The elderly people in a nursing home in Surakarta were involved in this study. In the pretest, 37 subjects were selected according to the anxiety score using Geriatric Anxiety Inventory (GAI) and cognitive function score using Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE). A number of 9 elderly people participated in the experiment were grouped ramdomly into experimental and control group. The results of Mann-Whitney test showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest score in both groups (Z = -1.968, p < 0.05). Experimental group showed a significant decrease of anxiety score after intervention. Zikir theraphy as intervention effectively decrease anxiety in elderly people.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to test the effectiveness of the peer tutoring method in improving statistics mastery.The research method used is a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre and post-test design. The minimum sample size was determined based on the estimated number of samples using G*Power 3.1.9.7 software. Subject selection was carried out using a purposive sampling method with the criteria of Psychology students at UNY taking Statistics courses, while the number of samples was 35 students. This study involved two variables, namely the use of the peer tutoring method as the independent variable and mastery of statistics material as the dependent variable. After obtaining the data, data analysis was carried out by means of a paired sample t-test with JASP software version 0.13. Prior to testing, researchers conducted a normality test with Shapiro Wilk.The results of the study found that there was a significant increase in statistical scores on the post-test compared to the pre-test measurements after the peer tutoring method was applied for 2 meetings t (34) of -2.881 with a significance (p) of 0.007 and an effect size of Cohen's d 0.487. Thus, the peer tutoring method proved to be effective in increasing student mastery in Statistics courses.

Abstract

Problematic Internet Use merupakan perilaku penggunaan internet yang menyebabkan berbagai masalah bagi penggunanya. Salah satu skala yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur penggunaan internet adalah Problematic Internet Use Questionnaire (PIUQ) yang dikembangkan oleh Demetrovics et al., (2008). Kendala bahasa dan budaya menjadi salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi karakteristik psikometrik dari alat tes. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengadaptasi PIUQ sesuai dengan konteks Indonesia, (2) melakukan konfirmasi faktor dan reliabilitas. Penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 155 orang warga negara Indonesia dengan rentang usia 18 hingga 25 tahun yang termasuk kategori dewasa awal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PIUQ versi Indonesia memiliki nilai reliabilitas yang baik yaitu sebesar 0,850 secara keseluruhan; 0,724; 0,637; dan 0,711 untuk setiap dimensi obsession, neglect, dan control disorder. Hasil confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) diperoleh nilai  (325,462; N = 155) = 2,466; GFI= 0,951; CFI= 0,931; RMSEA= 0,098; SRMR= 0,098. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa skala Problematic Internet Use Questionnaire (PIUQ) versi Indonesia dengan model 3 faktor dapat dikatakan fit sesuai dengan skala aslinya.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic alters many aspects of everyday life that we have grown accustomed to. The enactment of various new policies to curb the spread of the disease, i.e., social distancing, work and study from home, restrictions on large-scale activities and restriction in travelling, compel each one of us to adjust. Not to mention the fear of being infected with COVID-19. These conditions led to various psychological problems such as anxiety, low hope, and negative emotions. Efforts to improve people's mental health are urgently needed. One such step is to increase one's understanding of self-management in facing psychological problems due to COVID-19. This study aims to improve the community's mental health, namely the residents of Blotan hamlet during the COVID-19 pandemic through online self-management psychoeducation. To test the effectiveness of psychoeducation, this study used a one-group pre and post-test design. A total of 31 subjects participated in the activity in full. We can infer the effectivity through the anxiety score, hope, and positive emotions on the pre and post-test measurements. The results found that self-managed psychoeducation facing psychological problems during the pandemic significantly increased positive emotions (t = -2,753, df = 30, and p <.05). As for the measurement of anxiety and hope, there was no significant change due to the subject's anxiety score and hope were already in the medium category.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to examine the structure factor of Indonesian version of Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) and to test the construct of IWPQ by correlating with Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) as criterion. A total of 609 data from employees across Indonesia were involved in the research (Study 1 = 231, and Study 2 = 378). Data analysis was done using CFA to test the evidence validity based on internal structure and Pearson correlation to examine evidence of validity based on relation to other variables. This study confirmed the three-factor model of IWPQ in study 1 and study 2 with independent samples. The Indonesian version of the IWPQ also correlate positively with work engagement as criterion proving the evidence validity based on relation to others variable. The finding of this research strengthens the Indonesian version of IWPQ as a good tool in measuring work performance

Abstract

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, face-to-face learning has been transformed into online learning. This phenomenon was really challenging for teachers because they were not used to it. The adaptability of the teacher becomes an indispensable aspect to face the problem. The ability to integrate materials, pedagogy and technology or technological pedagogical and content knowledge (TPACK) supported the adaptability in implementing online learning. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of TPACK on professional adaptability. A sample of 457 junior and senior high school teachers in Indonesia and Malaysia completed the technological pedagogical and content knowledge scale and the career adaptability scale. Based on partial least square analysis, this study found that TPACK played a role in predicting four dimensions of career adaptability: concern, control, curiosity, and confidence. This structural model was also supported with path analysis. Therefore, TPACK becomes an essential aspect in influencing teachers' career adaptability.
