Abstract

Abstract: Abstract: Non-formal education is education that can be carried out in stages but is not official and the material is strengthening in formal educational institutions, such as educational units for courses, packages A, B, and C. Islamic non-formal education includes Islamic boarding schools. The focus of the problem is how to implement the non-formal education system for female students. The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of the non-formal education system "santriwati" who attended Madrasah Aliyah at the Anwarul Halimy Sesele Islamic boarding school, West Lombok. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method, namely an approach whose research findings are not obtained through statistical procedures or other forms of calculation. The results showed that the Anwarul Halimy Islamic boarding school applied the same learning method as other Islamic boarding schools throughout Indonesia and abroad in general and the materials and books taught or presented were the same as the standards of Islamic boarding schools throughout Indonesia and elsewhere. abroad, because basically the study books discussed have the same reference source.  Keywords: Santriwati Non Formal Education System  Abstrak: Pendidikan non formal adalah pendidikan yang dapat dilakukan secara berjenjang tapi tidak bersifat resmi dan materinya bersifat penguatan pada lembaga pendidikan formal, Seperti satuan pendidikan kursus-kursus, paket A, B, dan C. Pendidikan non formal Islam diantaranya Pesantren. Fokus masalahnya adalah bagaimana Implementasi sistem pendidikan Non Formal santriwati. tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui Implementasi sistem pendidikan  Non Formal “santriwati” yang bersekolah Madrasah Aliyah di pondok pesantren Anwarul Halimy Sesele Lombok Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu pendekatan yang temuan-temuan penelitiannya tidak diperoleh melalui prosedur statistik atau bentuk perhitungan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pondok pesantren Anwarul Halimy menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang sama dengan pembelajaran pondok pesantren lainnya yang ada di seluruh indonesia maupun luar negeri pada umumnya dan materi-materi beserta kitab-kitab yang diajarkan atau disajikan sama dengan standar pondok pesantren di seluruh indonesia maupun di luar negeri, karena pada dasarnya kitab-kitab kajian yang dibahas sumber refrensinya sama.  Kata Kunci: Sistem Pendidikan Non Formal Santriwati

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi dasar siswa sekolah dasar melalui pendampingan pemanfaatan aplikasi SILA (Sistem Informasi Literasi Anak) sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Latar belakang kegiatan ini berangkat dari rendahnya capaian literasi dasar di berbagai satuan pendidikan, terutama pada jenjang sekolah dasar, yang ditunjukkan oleh lemahnya kemampuan memahami teks, keterbatasan kosakata, serta minimnya akses siswa terhadap bahan bacaan yang variatif. Aplikasi SILA dipilih sebagai instrumen utama pendampingan karena menyediakan fitur katalog bacaan digital, sistem evaluasi otomatis, pemantauan progres siswa, serta ruang interaksi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Program pendampingan dilakukan melalui pendekatan partisipatoris, yang melibatkan pelatihan guru, bimbingan teknis penggunaan aplikasi oleh siswa, serta pendampingan berkala untuk memastikan keberlanjutan praktik literasi digital di sekolah. Tujuan utama kegiatan adalah membangun ekosistem literasi digital yang terstruktur, meningkatkan motivasi membaca siswa, serta memperluas akses terhadap sumber bacaan yang berkualitas. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama empat bulan melalui serangkaian tahapan: asesmen awal kemampuan literasi dasar, pelatihan guru, implementasi di kelas, monitoring, dan evaluasi. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan minat baca, meningkatnya frekuensi penggunaan aplikasi, serta adanya perkembangan signifikan pada kemampuan memahami teks. Selain itu, guru melaporkan bahwa aplikasi SILA membantu mempermudah pemberian tugas bacaan serta memonitor capaian siswa. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan aplikasi SILA terbukti efektif sebagai media untuk memperkuat literasi dasar di sekolah dasar serta dapat direkomendasikan untuk diadopsi lebih luas oleh satuan pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

Elementary school students' literacy skills remain a challenge that requires serious attention. Observations at SD Negeri 2 Karya Jaya, Ogan Komering Ilir, on November 3, 2025, showed that some students experienced difficulties in reading comprehension and writing, characterized by limitations in understanding reading content, constructing coherent sentences, and expressing ideas in writing. This condition is influenced by a lack of engaging reading materials, suboptimal literacy culture, inadequate parental guidance at home, and high use of gadgets for gaming. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Canva application-based learning media on elementary school students' literacy skills. The research method used was quantitative research with an experimental design. The results showed that the use of the Canva application had an impact on students' literacy skills. The conclusion of this study indicates that the use of the Canva application is effective in improving students' literacy skills at SD Negeri 2 Karya Jaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of digital literacy in improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Digital literacy is a key competency in 21st century learning, because it relates to students' ability to access, understand, analyze, and evaluate information critically. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with reference to the PRISMA guidelines. The data source was obtained from Google Scholar and the Garuda Journal Portal, with the criteria for digital articles and books published in the 2018-2024 time frame, and focusing on digital literacy and critical thinking skills at the elementary school level. The selection and analysis process resulted in 20 relevant digital articles and books, which were analyzed based on the type of digital literacy intervention, learning strategies, and their impact on students' critical thinking skills. The results of the study show that digital literacy consistently contributes to improving the high level of cognitive abilities, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities of elementary school students, especially when integrated through the use of interactive digital learning media and problem-solving-based learning strategies. The findings of this study confirm that strengthening digital literacy not only functions as a learning support, but also as a strategic factor in the development of critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Thus, the results of this study make a conceptual contribution to the development of digital literacy-based learning, as well as a reference for educators and policy makers in designing learning that is oriented towards critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Animiz application–based instructional video media in improving the learning interest of Grade VIII students in Indonesian language subjects at SMP IT Liddarain NW Tangar during the 2024/2025 academic year.This study employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. Data were collected primarily through questionnaires, supported by interviews and documentation. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques, including the Chi-Square test, N-Gain analysis, and SPSS.The Chi-Square analysis resulted in a calculated value of 14.305, while the critical Chi-Square value at 4 degrees of freedom and a 5% significance level was 9.488. Since the calculated value exceeded the critical value (14.305 > 9.488), the null hypothesis was rejected. Furthermore, the normalized gain (N-Gain) analysis showed an increase of 0.27, indicating a moderate improvement in students’ learning interest after the implementation of Animiz-based video learning media. SPSS analysis further confirmed that the use of Animiz-based instructional video media significantly increased students’ learning interest.In conclusion, this study demonstrates that Animiz application–based instructional video media are effective in enhancing students’ learning interest in Indonesian language subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate ASI ASLI (Aplikasi Sistem Asesmen Literasi), an online-based literacy assessment and decision-support system designed to map elementary school students’ reading competencies and support differentiated instruction aligned with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) framework. This study employed a research and development (R&D) approach adapted from Borg and Gall, with the development process conducted up to the main field testing stage through large-scale implementation in primary schools in Central Lombok Regency. A total of 4,058 students in Grades III–V participated, selected using a multi-stage cluster sampling strategy across urban, coastal, and rural contexts. Data were collected through literacy assessments embedded in the ASI ASLI system, expert validation instruments, teacher response questionnaires, and classroom observations, then analyzed using a mixed-methods approach. Findings indicate that ASI ASLI demonstrates strong technical feasibility, usability, and instructional relevance. Competency mapping revealed gradual improvement across grade levels; however, a substantial proportion of students remained at the Special Intervention and Basic levels, with pronounced disparities in rural areas. These findings highlight the urgent need for differentiated, data-informed instructional interventions and targeted policy support to address foundational literacy gaps.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan pendekatan heutagogi dalam program magang/Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi di komunitas petani organik. Permasalahan utama adalah keterbatasan kapasitas mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan teknologi tepat guna yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat, serta kebutuhan akan model pembelajaran yang mendorong kemandirian, refleksi, dan adaptasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah merancang dan menganalisis efektivitas model pembelajaran adaptif berbasis heutagogi dalam mendukung pengembangan produk teknologi tepat guna. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan observasi partisipatif, wawancara terbuka, serta dokumentasi laporan dan produk mahasiswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari lima mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika yang mengikuti KKN di PT Lombok Organik Cahaya Nusantara selama tiga bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu menghasilkan lima produk inovatif, yaitu meja penelitian pertumbuhan tanaman dengan penyiraman otomatis, alat pengukur laju aliran air berbasis IoT, media pembelajaran penyiraman otomatis, modul digital penggunaan alat IoT, dan aplikasi web pemantau bibit cabai. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa heutagogi mendorong mahasiswa untuk belajar secara mandiri, non-linear, dan reflektif, sekaligus menghubungkan teori akademik dengan kebutuhan praktis masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan heutagogi efektif diterapkan dalam kegiatan KKN/magang untuk meningkatkan kapabilitas belajar mandiri, keterampilan teknis, serta kontribusi mahasiswa terhadap pemberdayaan komunitas pertanian organik.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the level and significance of the influence of digital library utilization on improving students' reading literacy in elementary schools. The approach used is a quantitative method through a survey, involving two fifth-grade classes from the same school, with a total of 50 students as sample respondents. The sample was divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The instruments used were reading literacy tests and learning activity observation sheets. Data analysis used the paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results showed that the use of digital libraries had a significant effect on improving students' reading literacy. Students who learned through digital libraries showed higher reading literacy scores than the control group. The data was obtained through questionnaires covering indicators of reading motivation and reading habits before and after the implementation of the digital library. The results of the analysis revealed a significant increase in students' reading motivation and reading habits after the introduction of the digital library. These findings imply that digital libraries play a crucial role in increasing interest and reading habits among elementary school students. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menyelidiki tingkat dan signifikansi Pengaruh Pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Digital terhadap Peningkatan Literasi Membaca Siswa di Sekolah Dasar. Pendekatan yang diterapkan adalah metode kuantitatif melalui survei, dengan melibatkan dua kelas V dari sekolah yang sama, berjumlah 50 siswa sebagai responden sampel. Dari sampel tersebut dibagi menjadi menjadi dua, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes literasi membaca dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh signifikan pemanfaatan perpustakaan digital terhadap peningkatan literasi membaca siswa. Siswa yang belajar melalui perpustakaan digital menunjukkan peningkatan skor literasi membaca yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang mencakup indikator motivasi membaca dan kebiasaan membaca sebelum serta setelah implementasi perpustakaan digital. Hasil analisis mengungkapkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam motivasi membaca dan kebiasaan membaca siswa pasca pengenalan perpustakaan digital. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan bahwa perpustakaan digital memainkan peran krusial dalam meningkatkan minat dan kebiasaan membaca di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar.
