Abstract

Data, Voice / Voice and Video are basic needs for information for people in the digital era. This is based on the trend of triple play technology, which is a technology trend that accommodates three services that are presented in a customer service. The development of meeting the basic needs of the digital community cannot be separated from the development of the infrastructure that can be passed. This should be the basis for understanding the digital community that, in meeting the basic need for information, there is always a new technique being born. And the birth of this new technology can change a paradigm and even be disruptive. Voice as a need for digital society cannot be separated from the use of communication technology. Communication that is shared by users who interact with each other, that is, interact and communicate with each other. Sekawan Trining Center is an institution that is very interested in the use of techniques in supporting organizational operations wherever they are located. Although the technique is developing rapidly, this is also accompanied by an increase in the costs that must be incurred in its implementation. For this reason, the utilization of existing techniques can be maximized to reduce costs that may arise. There are also technology platforms that use analog communication media to enable systems that can be used to connect with technologies that can be used to access digital data. The solution that can be applied to overcome this is an Audio Recording System.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan karakterisasi biodiesel dari miyak jelantah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriftif kualitatif. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini antara lain senyawa kimia dan struktur molekul penyusun biodiesel dari minyak jelantah. Penentuan senyawa-seyawa kimia serta struktur molekul penyusun biodiesel dari minyak jelantah diukur menggunakan instrument GC-MS. Hasil pengukuran selanjutnya dijadikan dasar dalam mengidentifikasi krakter biodiesel. Komponen tertinggi berupa senyawa asam lemak. Asam lemak berupa asam oktadekanoat  dengan % area 45,10, selanjutnya metil ester heksadekanoat dengan % area 35,99%.  Komponen ketiga dengan jumlah tertinggi berupa senyawa metil ester oktadekanoat dengan % area 9,42.  Komponen keempat berupa metil ester tetradekanoat dengan % area 3,43. Metil ester C16 masih rendah yaitu sebesar 35,99%. Karakter biodiesel dari minyak jelahtah masih banyak mengandung asam lemak bebas golongan oktadekanoat dan konsenterasi C16 yang menjadi dasar kemudahan biodiesel untuk terbakar masih rendah. Identification of Characteristics of Used Cooking Oil Biodiesel Using Gas Chromatography Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) Instruments Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify and characterize biodiesel from used cooking noodles. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The variables observed in this study include chemical compounds and the molecular structure of biodiesel constituents from used cooking oil. The determination of chemical compounds and the molecular structure of biodiesel constituents of used cooking oil was measured using the GC-MS instrument. The results of the next measurement are used as a basis in identifying biodiesel krakters. The highest component is in the form of fatty acid compounds. Fatty acids are octadecanoic acid with a % area of 45.10, then methyl hexadecanoic ester with a % area of 35.99%. The third component with the highest amount is the octachonate methyl ester compound with a % area of 9.42. The fourth component is methyl ester tetradecanoate with % area 3.43. Methyl ester C16 is still low at 35.99%. The character of biodiesel from used cooking oil still contains a lot of free fatty acids of the octadecanoic group and C16 concentration, which is the basis for the ease of biodiesel to burn is still low.

Abstract

Jamur merang merupakan tumbuhan yang tidak memiliki klorofil. Tidak adanya klorofil menyebabkan jamur tidak dapat memproduksi makanannya sendiri. Kondisi ini menyebabkan jamur sangat bergantung pada media tumbuhnya sehingga baik tidaknya pertumbuhan jamur merang tergantung nutrisi yang terkandung pada media tanamnya. Selain media tanam tumbuh kembang jamur merang sangat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan dan kontaminan yang dapat berasal dari media tanam atau lingkungan tumbuh kembang jamur merang. Begitu banyak kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh petani jamur merang untuk menjaga produksi tetap stabil. Literasi tentang tumbuh kembang jamur menjadi sangat penting dikuasai petani untuk menjaga produksi tetap stabil. Pelatihan tenologi budidaya jamur merang ini dilaksanakan di kumbung jamur merang Dusun Repok Tunjang Desa Taman Indah Kecamatan Pringgarata. Metode pelaaklanaan yang digunakan adalah gelar teknologi. Proses kegiatan selanjutnya dievaluasi menggunakan pertanyaan langsung yang diberikan kepada petani jamur merang dan perbandingan produksi sebelum pelatihan dan setelah pelatihan. Hasil wawancara dengan petani jamur menunjukkan adanya beberapa hal yang mendasar yang belum dikuasai oleh petani jamur. Hal mendasar tersebut seperti teknik pengomposan dan sterilisasi. Petani jamur merang belum bisa membedakan secara fisik kondisi kompos media tanam yang sudah matang dan belum. Lama pengomposan tergantung kondisi bahan-bahan yang dikomposkan. Jerami yang masih baru atau baru diangkut dari sawah memerlukan waktu 2-3 hari lebih lama dalam proses pengomposan. Kompos yang belum matang menyebabkan jamur tidak dapat tumbuh optimal. Literasi petani tentang kondisi bahan yang digunakan penting untuk dikuasai. Pelatihan ini cukup efektik dalam meningkatkan literasi petani terbukti dari produksi jamur yang meningkat 20% lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan produksi jamur sebelumnya.

Abstract

Abstract The emergence of various diseases affecting the immune system, such as COVID-19 and Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease, demands serious attention. Current climate changes occurring in almost all parts of the world can lead to the emergence of various viruses and bacteria that cause multiple diseases. Exploring medicinal plants that can enhance the immune system is crucial to be continued. This study aims to identify secondary metabolite compounds contained in Bridellia Micrantha plants using chemical reagents and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) instruments. This research is an experimental laboratory study. The variable studied is the content of secondary metabolite compounds. Data were collected using chemical reagents and instruments. The obtained data are described in informative tables and graphs. Based on the identification results using instruments, positive results were found for organic compound groups such as flavonoids, alkaloids, and tannins. GC-MS test results showed that the organic compounds  contained in Bridellia Micrantha extract are 43.05% hexadecanoic acid, 21.46% oleic acid, 16% docos-13-enoic acid, 3.89% octadecanal, 1.85% propanediol, and 0.91% trans-phytol. Literature reviews indicate that the organic acids in Bridellia micrantha extract have clinical activities as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, while organic compounds containing hydroxyl groups have clinical activities as anti-cancer agents. Based on these findings, Bridellia micrantha extract has the potential as a medicine that can enhance the body's immunity.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Bengkaung dalam mengekstrak tanaman obat melalui penggunaan teknologi sederhana yang berbasis kearifan lokal. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam program ini melibatkan pemanfaatan bahan-bahan lokal, seperti kayu manis, kayu gaharu, kulit kayu Bridellia micrantha, serta alat tradisional gerabah untuk proses ekstraksi tanaman obat. Program ini tidak hanya bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan praktis dalam pengolahan tanaman obat, tetapi juga untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan kearifan lokal yang sudah ada di desa tersebut. Variabel utama yang dianalisis dalam penelitian ini meliputi peningkatan keterampilan ekstraksi, pemanfaatan bahan lokal, kesadaran terhadap pelestarian kearifan lokal, dan penggunaan alat tradisional yang ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program ini meliputi pelatihan langsung kepada masyarakat melalui workshop dan pendampingan, serta evaluasi hasil melalui metode pre-test dan post-test. Hasil dari program ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan masyarakat Desa Bengkaung dalam mengekstrak tanaman obat dengan alat sederhana. Para peserta pelatihan dapat mengidentifikasi dan memanfaatkan bahan-bahan lokal secara efektif untuk proses ekstraksi, serta memahami pentingnya keberlanjutan dan pelestarian kearifan lokal. Selain itu, penggunaan alat tradisional gerabah sebagai media ekstraksi juga terbukti tidak hanya efektif dalam menghasilkan produk ekstraksi, tetapi juga mendukung upaya pelestarian budaya lokal yang ramah lingkungan. Dengan demikian, PKM ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat Desa Bengkaung, tidak hanya dalam aspek keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga dalam penguatan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang berbasis pada keberlanjutan dan penggunaan bahan-bahan alami. Program ini juga berpotensi menjadi model bagi pengembangan masyarakat berbasis kearifan lokal lainnya dalam rangka meningkatkan literasi dan keterampilan berbasis budaya yang berkelanjutan. Community Partnership Program: Fostering Literacy and Skills in Extracting Medicinal Plants Through Simple Technology with a Focus on Local Wisdom  Abstract This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to enhance the literacy and skills of the residents of Bengkaung Village in extracting medicinal plants using simple technology based on local wisdom. The approach employed in this program involves utilizing local materials, such as cinnamon, agarwood, and the bark of Bridellia micrantha, as well as traditional clay tools for the medicinal plant extraction process. The program not only aims to improve practical skills in processing medicinal plants but also seeks to preserve and develop the local wisdom already present in the village. The key variables analyzed in this study include the improvement of extraction skills, the utilization of local materials, awareness of preserving local wisdom, and the use of environmentally friendly traditional tools. The methods applied in the implementation of this program include direct training through workshops and mentoring, as well as evaluating the outcomes using pre-test and post-test methods. The results of the program show a significant improvement in the abilities of Bengkaung Village residents in extracting medicinal plants using simple tools. Participants were able to identify and effectively utilize local materials for the extraction process and understand the importance of sustainability and preserving local wisdom. Additionally, the use of traditional clay tools as extraction media proved not only effective in producing extraction products but also supported efforts to preserve environmentally friendly local cultural practices. Thus, this PKM has made a significant contribution to empowering the Bengkaung Village community, not only in terms of technical skills but also in strengthening values of local wisdom based on sustainability and the use of natural materials. This program also has the potential to serve as a model for other community development initiatives based on local wisdom to enhance literacy and skills in a sustainable cultural framework.

Abstract

The increasing global prevalence of oxidative stress-related diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and neurodegenerative disorders underscores the importance of developing effective antioxidant strategies. In this study, samples of ethanol extract from Bridelia micrantha (Melandean) leaves were used which were then evaluated using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) test, a method that is widely known for assessing free radical scavenging activity. The ethanol extract sample was obtained through maceration with a yield of 15.84%. Based on the DPPH test, it shows that the extract has dose-dependent inhibition of DPPH radicals, with a maximum inhibition of 66.13% at a concentration of 25 ppm. The IC50 value, calculated from regression analysis, confirmed the antioxidant potential of the extract, although it was less effective than that of vitamin C, which was used as a positive control. These findings suggest that Bridelia micrantha leaves, rich in phytochemicals such as flavonoids, tannins, and saponins, have the potential as a source of natural antioxidants for managing oxidative stress-related health conditions.

Abstract

Tujuan kegitan PkM ini untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat khususnya  peternak sapi potong serta memperluas lapangan kerja di pedesaan yang disesuaikan dengan potensi agroekosistem wilayah desa, yaitu sistem integrasi tanaman jagung dengan ternak sapi potong (SIJASA). Metode pelaksankaan PKM difusi ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dengan tahapan 1) perencaan, 2) Pelaksaan, 3) Pendampingan dan 4) evaluasi. Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui penerapan teknologi SIJASA dapat memberikan hasil yang optimal apabila penerapan metode diseminasi gelar teknologi dikawal dan didampingi oleh peneliti/dosen dari perguruan tinggi dan penyuluh pertanian di lapangan secara berkesinambungan di bawah koordinasi dinas/instansi terkait Community Empowerment of Taman Ayu Village Through Technology Innovation of Corn and Cattle Integration System (Sijasa) The purpose of this PkM activity is to increase the income and welfare of the community, especially beef cattle breeders, and to expand employment opportunities in rural areas that are adapted to the agro-ecosystem potential of the village area, namely the corn crop integration system with beef cattle (SIJASA). The method of implementing PKM is the diffusion of science and technology with stages 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) mentoring, and 4) evaluation. Community empowerment activities through the application of SIJASA technology can provide optimal results if the application of the technology degree dissemination method is escorted and accompanied by researchers/lecturers from universities and agricultural extension workers in the field on an ongoing basis under the coordination of related agencies/agencies.

Abstract

Mitra pengabdian ini adalah program studi pendidikan kimia. Kurikulum merdeka belajar menekankan pada integrasi antara pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperoleh melalui pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik. Mengacu pada implementasi kurikulum merdeka belajar program studi pendidikan kimia diharapkan mampu melahirkan tenaga pendidik yang kreatif, inovatif dan memiliki keterampilan memecahkan masalah dalam menjawab tuntutan pendidikan abad 21. Keterampilan memecahkan masalah mutlak dimiliki oleh tenaga pendidik dalam mendesain pembelajaran yang kreatif, inovatif dan kontektual. Pendekatan kontektual khususnya berkaitan dengan lingkungan sangat diperlukan untuk melahirkan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah menumbuhkan keterampilan memecahkan masalah mahasiswa melalui sintesis dan pemurnian bioetanol dari limbah organik. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dilaboratorium Kimia Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah gelar teknologi. Keterampilan memecahkan masalah mahasiswa diukur menggunakan instrumen test urain. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya didesrifsikan dalam bentuk tabel dan gambar. Hasil kegiatan menghasilkan keterampilan memecahkan masalah mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan secera perlahan. Belum terbiasanya mahasiswa merumuskan masalah dan memberikan solusi alternatif dari permasalahan yang diberikan membuat keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah masih rendah. Keterampilan mahasiswa mulai meningkat setelah tim pengabdian memberikan bimbingan dan arahan terkait proyek yang dilakukan dilaboratorium. Kreativitas mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan. Hal ini terlihat dari kemampuan mahasiswa merangkai alat dan memodifikasi alat destilasi yang digunakan dalam pemurnian bioetanol. Berdasarkan temuan kegiatan ini terbukti mampu menumbuhkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa. Community Partnership Program: Growing Students' Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills through Bioethanol Manufacturing and Purification Process  This service partner is a chemistry education study program. The independent learning curriculum emphasizes the integration of knowledge and skills obtained through learning with a scientific approach. Referring to the implementation of the independent learning curriculum, the chemistry education study program is expected to be able to produce educators who are creative, innovative and have problem-solving skills in responding to the demands of 21st century education. Problem-solving skills are absolutely owned by educators in designing creative, innovative and contextual learning. A contextual approach, especially with regard to the environment, is needed to produce more meaningful learning. The purpose of this activity is to develop students' problem-solving skills through the synthesis and purification of bioethanol from organic waste. This activity was carried out in the Chemistry Laboratory of the Mandalika Education University. The method used in this activity is a technology degree. Students' problem solving skills are measured using a urine test instrument. The data obtained is then described in the form of tables and figures. The results of the activity resulted in students' problem-solving skills increasing slowly. Students who are not used to formulating problems and providing alternative solutions to the problems given make students' skills in solving problems still low. Student skills began to increase after the service team provided guidance and direction regarding projects carried out in the laboratory. Student creativity has increased. This can be seen from the ability of students to assemble tools and modify distillation equipment used in bioethanol purification. Based on the findings of this activity it is proven to be able to foster students' problem solving skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Learning Kit Automation berbasis Arduino sebagai sarana pembelajaran dasar Internet of Things (IoT) bagi mahasiswa. Learning Kit ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar praktis dan aplikatif, sekaligus mendukung pengenalan teknologi otomasi yang relevan dengan kebutuhan Revolusi Industri 4.0. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan enam tahapan utama: identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, dan uji coba produk. Produk yang dikembangkan mencakup perangkat keras seperti sensor kelembaban tanah, aktuator pompa air, dan mikrokontroler Arduino, serta perangkat lunak menggunakan Arduino IDE.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Learning Kit Automation ini memiliki skor rata-rata kelayakan sebesar 84.2%, yang mengindikasikan bahwa produk ini sangat layak digunakan. Validasi oleh ahli memastikan bahwa perangkat keras, perangkat lunak, dan panduan pengguna telah memenuhi standar pedagogis dan teknis. Uji coba terhadap enam mahasiswa mengungkapkan bahwa Learning Kit mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dasar IoT dan teknologi otomasi..Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Learning Kit Automation dapat berfungsi sebagai media pembelajaran praktikum yang efektif untuk memperkenalkan dasar-dasar IoT. Produk ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas serta memperluas fitur aplikasinya.

Abstract

Climate change is a critical global issue with complex and far-reaching impacts that extend beyond the environment to include social, economic, and health dimensions. Addressing these challenges requires future professionals, such as forestry students, to develop strong analytical thinking skills, particularly in identifying and formulating environmental problems. Despite the growing recognition of climate change, limited research exists on forestry students’ understanding and analytical response to this issue, especially within specific regional contexts such as West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Indonesia—a region particularly vulnerable to climate-related effects. This study aims to examine the level of awareness among forestry students regarding climate change issues in NTB and to evaluate their problem-identification and problem-formulation skills based on the phenomenon of global warming in the area. The novelty of this research lies in its regional focus, as NTB is seldom featured in climate literacy studies despite its unique climatic challenges. Using a descriptive quantitative method, data were collected from 26 forestry students enrolled in a Basic Chemistry course through an essay-based test administered in October. The variables observed were environmental awareness, problem-formulating ability, and problem-identifying ability. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and presented in tables and graphs. Results showed low student performance across all variables, with mean scores of 44.6 (awareness), 50.96 (problem formulation), and 40.76 (problem identification). These findings underscore the urgent need for strategic, problem-based educational approaches to improve students’ climate awareness and analytical competencies, ultimately preparing them to effectively contribute to sustainable environmental solutions in their future professional roles.
