Abstract

Background: Physical education learning in Indonesia has had to switch to using the Kurikulum Merdeka which focuses more on students as the center of learning with project reports and project themes. Motivation is very important for students in following the learning process. Sport Education is a learning strategy that facilitates students and teachers with projects in the learning process and can increase student learning motivation. Objectives: The aim of the research was to examine the influence of SE on learning motivation in MTs students. Methods: The research method used in this research uses an experimental research method with a one-shot case study design. Participants in this research were 48 students at one of the MTs in Indramayu Regency. The instrument in this research used a student learning motivation questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses a one-sample t test. Results: The results of this research obtained t count = 7.05 with Sig. 0.00 < 0.05, which means that there is an influence of SE on the learning motivation of MTs students. Conclusion: This research concludes that there is an influence of SE on learning motivation in Junior High Schoolstudents.

Abstract

Seni budaya merupakan salah satu muatan pelajaran wajib yang diselenggarakan di dalam penyelenggara pendidikan. Mulai dari jenjang pendidikan dasar (SD) hingga menengah atas dan kejuruan (SMA/SMK). Kualitas guru memiliki peranan yang penting terhadap kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Media pembelajaran merupakan suatu yang sangat penting dalam penyampaian materi dari guru kepada siswa. Kegiatan Asistensi Mengajar ini dilakukan dengan memilih SMP Negeri 1 Banjarangkan Klunkung sebagai mitra selama proses belajar mengajar berlangsung. Kegiatan ini berlangsung kurang lebih 3 bulan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Teams Games Tournaments (TGT), siswa memainkan permainan dengan anggota-anggota tim lain untuk memperoleh skor bagi tim mereka masing-masing. Ciri khas dalam pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) dengan pembelajaran Cooperative lainnya adalah adanya turnamen. Tujuan penerapan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament adalah peningkatan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran Seni budaya (Tari) dan juga adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Bermain berperan penting dalam perkembangan sosial dan emosi seorang anak, selain itu bermain juga berperan langsung terhadap perkembangan kognisi anak. Salah satu permainan yang familiar dengan anak dari zaman dahulu sampai saat ini adalah permainan ular tangga. Permainan ular tangga dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran karena permainan ular tangga merupakan jenis permainan yang di dalamnya terdapat strategi, kejujuran, ketangkasan, kepemimpinan, wawasan dan kerja sama.

Abstract

The competence that must be possessed by Vocational School (VS) students is to be able to find business opportunities independently. Related to the subjects of art and culture, it is hoped that VS students have the motivation that can be carried out by the presence of performing arts in the form of performances that can be used as opportunities for entrepreneurship. Thus, VS students must have entrepreneurial motivation to have business opportunities in the arts and culture sector. One of the learning strategies that can be used is to use PBL. PBL can increase students' learning motivation and also facilitate students' problem-solving abilities. This study aimed to determine how the implementation of PBL in realizing performances and the influence of PBL on entrepreneurial motivation in art learning for VS students. The research method uses an experimental research method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Participants in this study were 37 students in one of the VS in the Indramayu district, and the study was conducted using a systematic sampling technique. The research instrument used an entrepreneurial motivation questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using statistical descriptions and Paired-Sample T-Test. This study concludes that PBL affects VS students' entrepreneurial motivation in art learning. PBL can motivate students to reflect on what they learn in an actual project and provide opportunities for students to think and be creative when realizing a project in the arts and culture. Students can understand that in the performance, various job descriptions can be used for business opportunities or jobs in arts and culture to conduct further research with more participants so that the results of this study can be more generalized.

Abstract

Background: Dyspepsia, a disorder of the upper gastrointestinal tract, is a worldwide health problem. In Indonesia, it ranks among the most frequent conditions in primary healthcare. Research on the relationship between dietary habits and dyspepsia in school-aged children, particularly in primary health centers in Sukabumi, is limited. This study aims to explore the association between irregular eating patterns and dyspepsia in this age group. Methods: This study used quantitative research with a cross-sectional design, involving 51 purposively selected children aged 6–18 years visiting the Sukabumi Public Health Center between January and March 2025. Inclusion criteria were children aged 6–18 years, with a history of dyspepsia, and willingness to participate by completing questionnaires. Exclusion criteria included diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection, use of gastrointestinal-impacting medications, or presence of malignant or chronic upper gastrointestinal diseases. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire adapted from prior research, demonstrating good validity and reliability. Results: From the results obtained, 12 children had a good diet was 12 people (23.5%), and 39 children had poor diets (76.5%). Meanwhile, 35 children with dyspepsia (68.6%) and children who did not experience dyspepsia were 16 people (31.4%). There was a relationship between diet and the incidence of dyspepsia in school-age children (6-18 years) at the Sukabumi Health Center, with a p-value = 0.003, which could be interpreted as (p < 0.05) or (0.003 < 0.05) Conclusion: Irregular dietary habits are linked to dyspepsia in school-aged children at the Sukabumi Health Center, emphasizing the need for healthy eating promotion in local, resource-limited settings of middle- and low-income countries.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is one of the main parts of the tridharma of higher education, which requires students to play an active role in community empowerment through education, research, and service. This article discusses one of program from the KKN team from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), which took place in Tlogopucang Village, Kandangan District, Temanggung. In today's digital era, mastery of information technology has become a crucial requirement, including the ability to operate data processing applications such as Microsoft Excel. Unfortunately, many people, especially in rural areas, are still unfamiliar with the benefits of Excel. However, this application has significant benefits in everyday life, such as in household financial records, small business data management, and village administration. Therefore, the KKN team conducted a Microsoft Excel socialization activity at Junior High School (SMP) N 3 Kandangan, which aimed to introduce students to basic skills in managing data using Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

The Batujajar District Office, as a government institution, is expected to provide optimal public services. In achieving this, employee performance is the main determinant of organizational success. However, challenges related to work discipline and employee loyalty remain obstacles in achieving maximum performance. This study was conducted at the Batujajar District Office with the aim of determining the Effect of Work Discipline and Work Loyalty on Employee Performance, both partially and simultaneously. This study used a descriptive verification method with a quantitative approach. The results of the study indicated that work discipline and work loyaltu have a pesitive influence on employee performance. Of the two, work loyalty has a more dominant influence, at 58%, compared to work discipline, which contributed 21%. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0,790 indicates that these two variables collectively contribute 79% to employee performance, while the remaining 21% is due to other factors not examined in this study. Based on these findings, improved employee performance can be achieved through continuous strengthening of work loyalty.

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) Design multimedia-based Lontara script of local language learning media for the third grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 29 Bontomacinna, (2) To find out the implementation of multimedia-based Lontara of locall language learning media for third grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 29 Bontomacinna. This research used a multimedia development method, namely the multimedia development life cycle (MDLC). This research aimed to develop interesting and efficient learning so that it can increase the knowledge and interest in learning for students, which consisted of 6 stages namely concept, design, collection of materials, assembly, testing and distribution.The result of this research are (1) The design stage of multimedia-based Lontara script of Local language learning media for the third grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 29 Bontomacinna was designed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), namely, use case diagram, sequence diagram and activity diagram with making application using Adobe flash professional Cs6 and CorelDraw X7, (2) The learning media for the Local language of the Lontara script have been implemented by educators for the Third Grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri 29 Bontomacinna which can be used easily as new breakthrough in learning process, and validation has been carried out with the result of blackbox testing , all icons and buttons work according to their function. Testing the use of learning media applications using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method with a value of 72, it means the value scale is B or included in the Good category.
