Abstract

Communication that combines the methodologies of the two communications can be considered as communication fiber optic communication and can be used in communication systems and wireless. The integration of optical and wireless networks can function to increase mobility and capacity as well as reduce costs in access networks. Radio over fiber (RoF) can be a solution for many problems because it can control many base stations (BS) connected to a central station (CS) with an optical fiber. The high bit error rate (BER) and low Q factor value are caused by the Rof signal head received in low quality, so the receiver may not operate on high data speed networks. The solution to different signal problems and can be done with single mode fiber is the Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) network. BER must be reduced to a guaranteed value, and the Q factor must be increased. WDM-RoF probes with different fiber lengths at various channel distances will be: simulated using Optisystem software, and the performance of the RoF receiver is measured and analyzed depending on the obtained BER, Q-factor value, and eye aperture height. The effects of degradation factors such as attenuation and dispersion are very limited with the addition of EDFA amplifier to Single Mode Fiber (SMF). The higher the bit rate of a communication system, the lower the performance of the system. In this study, analysis of the WDM-Rof system with bit rate variations was carried out to determine the bit rate value that still met the standard. From the simulation results, the Q-Factor and BER values at a bit rate of 11 Gbps do not meet the standards, i.e 4.50508 and 2.5390e-006.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  As a new administrative region, Teratak Village, Rumbio Jaya, Kampar has not made the best use of the villages' potential for development. The PkM team at Riau University acts as Technical Assistance (TA), providing training and trainers for infrastructure updates and managing SID. The current infrastructure data entry in SID is used to compile RPJM-Des. Primary field data collection surveys were conducted with village officials and Kukerta students. The Teratak Village SID has been completed and is being used as a tool for new data entry in SID usage and management training. The community's aspirations, the village's vision and mission, and development priorities were used as guidelines for the preparation of the RPJM-Des. Training on using SID and simulating new data inputs as scheduled. The municipality, village officials, UMKM and administrators can enter new data and see the potential of the village in SID. RPJM-Des with participatory principles are evidence of good government (participatory, transparent and accountable). The obstacle to the preparation of RPJM-Des is the current information from the APBD district/province to prioritize village development as it must be in-line.  Keywords: Assistance; Development; Information; Infrastructure; Teratak   ABSTRAK Sebagai wilayah administratif baru, Desa Teratak, Rumbio Jaya, Kampar belum memanfaatkan potensi desa yang ada untuk dikembangkan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Entri data infrastruktur yang ada di SID digunakan untuk menyusun RPJM-Des. Survei pengumpulan data lapangan primer dilakukan terhadap aparat desa dan mahasiswa Kukerta. SID Desa Teratak telah selesai dibangun dan digunakan sebagai alat entri data baru dalam pelatihan penggunaan dan pengelolaan SID. Aspirasi masyarakat, visi dan misi desa, serta prioritas pembangunan dijadikan pedoman penyusunan RPJM-Des. Pelatihan penggunaan SID dan simulasi input data baru sesuai jadwal. Pemerintah kota, perangkat desa, UMKM dan pengurus bisa memasukkan data baru dan melihat potensi desa di SID. RPJM-Des dengan prinsip partisipatif merupakan bukti pemerintahan yang baik (partisipatif, transparan dan akuntabel). Kendala penyusunan RPJM-Des adalah informasi terkini dari APBD kabupaten/provinsi untuk memprioritaskan pembangunan desa karena harus sejalan. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi perlunya studi literatur mengenai bagaimana keberlanjutan penting untuk didukung dalam sebuah pembelajaran di tingkat formal. Tujuan utama  dalam penelitian ini adalah mengkaji upaya-upaya yang dilakukan untuk mewujudkan keberlanjutan melalui pembelajaran kimia. Peran ini difokuskan dalam dua hal yaitu  Melalui pembelajaran kimia ramah lingkungan yang kemudian dapat diterapkan dalam dunia industri maupun kehidupan sehari-hari dan peningkatan kesadaran lingkungan dan kesadaran keberlanjutan. Metode  yang  digunakan  yaitu  systematic  literature  review, yang terdiri atas tiga tahap yaitu planning, conducting, dan reporting. Tahap planning berupa penetapan protokol meliputi penentuan topik dan penetapan kriteria pencarian artikel, Tahap conducting yaitu pelaksanaan meliputi pencarian artikel, pemilihan artikel,  dan  sintesis  data.  Tahap  reporting  yaitu  tahapan  akhir yang meliputi penulisan hasil  systematic literature review  sesuai dengan format yang telah ditentukan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari 10 artikel yang dikaji menunjukkan bahwa beberapa peran kimia dalam menjaga keberlanjutan melalui pembelajaran kimia berorientasi praktik yang ramah lingkungan dan dari 15 artikel yang dikaji menunjukkan hubungan pembelajaran dalam konteks ESD dengan kesadaran lingkungan (Evironmental awareness) kesadaran keberlanjutan (Sustainability awareness).

Abstract

ABSTRAKRadio Over Fiber (ROF) adalah sistem komunikasi yang digunakan untuk mentransmisikan sinyal radio frequency (RF) melalui serat optik. Kapasitas dan mobilitas jaringan akses dapat ditingkatkan dengan memanfaatkan sistem ROF. Modulasi sinyal optik dapat dilakukan dengan teknik modulasi optik langsung maupun modulasi optik eksternal. Dalam jurnal ini dilakukan perbandingan kinerja dari kedua teknik modulasi optik tersebut. Input sinyal RF yang digunakan adalah sinyal RF termodulasi 4-QAM, 16-QAM, dan 64-QAM dengan frekuensi 60 GHz. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa dispersi kromatik menyebabkan terjadinya penurunan daya yang sangat besar pada sinyal RF yang diterima secara berulang. Pada sistem ROF modulasi optik langsung dengan input berupa sinyal RF termodulasi 4-QAM, 16-QAM, dan 64-QAM terjadi penurunan daya pada panjang fiber yang sama yaitu pada Panjang fiber 1 dan 3 km. Pada sistem ROF modulasi optik eksternal terjadi penurunan daya pada titik yang sama yaitu pada pada panjang fiber 1 dan 3 km.Kata kunci: Dispersi, Modulasi Langsung, Modulasi Eksternal, QAM, ROF ABSTRACTRadio Over Fiber (ROF) is a communication system used to transmit radio frequency (RF) signals through optical fiber. The capacity and mobility of access networks can be increased by utilizing ROF systems. Modulation of optical signals can be done with direct optical modulation techniques or external optical modulation. In this journal, the performance of the two optical modulation techniques is compared. The input RF signals used are 4-QAM, 16-QAM, and 64-QAM modulated RF signals with a frequency of 60 GHz. The simulation results show that chromatic dispersion causes a very large power decrease in the received RF signal repeatedly. In the direct optical modulation ROF system with input in the form of 4-QAM, 16-QAM, and 64-QAM modulated RF signals, there is a decrease in power at the same fiber length, namely at 1 and 3 km fiber length. In the external optical modulation ROF system, there is a decrease in power at the same point, namely at a fiber length of 1 and 3 km.Keywords: Dispersion, Direct Modulation, External modulation, QAM, ROF

Abstract

Di Indonesia, stunting adalah masalah kesehatan yang serius, terutama di kalangan anak balita. Kekurangan nutrisi jangka panjang dan kurangnya akses terhadap layanan kesehatan yang memadai adalah penyebab kondisi ini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana akses kesehatan dan gizi seimbang berperan dalam mencegah stunting pada anak balita di Desa Karya Indah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengumpulkan data dari observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan tenaga kesehatan, dan analisis program kesehatan lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solusi gizi yang tepat, seperti makanan tambahan yang kaya nutrisi dan akses kesehatan yang lebih baik, sangat berperan dalam menurunkan angka stunting di desa tersebut. Untuk mencegah stunting, kader kesehatan dan keluarga harus berpartisipasi dalam edukasi gizi. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pendidikan gizi yang lebih baik di tingkat rumah tangga dan optimalisasi layanan kesehatan desa sebagai upaya berkelanjutan dalam pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that has various types of mushrooms, both those that are edible and those that are not. One type of edible mushroom is the oyster mushroom. In its growth, oyster mushrooms are greatly influenced by the temperature and humidity in the mushroom house. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of temperature and humidity on mushroom productivity and to identify the optimal temperature and humidity for mushroom growth. The research method involved measuring temperature and humidity in the morning, afternoon, evening, and night every day for 2 months, namely June and July 2024. The temperature and humidity data collected were the daily averages. After obtaining the average daily temperature and humidity data, the next step was to observe the shape and color of the oyster mushrooms and collect data on the number of mushrooms obtained each day for 2 months. From the data analysis, it was found that the oyster mushrooms hardened and turned yellow when the temperature and humidity were unstable for mushroom growth. The optimal average temperature and humidity were 27°C and 82%, with the number of mushrooms obtained being 55kg/day.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of service quality and promotion on purchasing decisions for watchout shoes at Mata Hari BCS Mall Batam. This type of survey is a quantitative research that uses purposive sampling as many as 260 respondents and examined in detail using SPSS version 25, where t count 9,325 > t Table 1,969 which is a significant value known to be 0,000 < 0,05. This means that service quality has an influence and is important in making purchasing decisions. It is known that the t count for promotion is 8,672 > t table of 1.969 and the significance value is 0,000 < 0,05. This means that promotions are effective and important for purchasing decisions. Second, between service quality and promotion, there is an important (together) impact on the decision to buy watchout shoes at Mata Hari BCS Mall Batam. This can be seen from the F value of 309.960 (F count) > 2.64 (Table F). Significant value 0,000 < 0,05. Keywords: Service Quality;Promotion and Buying Decision

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi saat ini telah memungkinkan untuk menumpangkan sinyal radio frequency (RF) di atas sinyal optik. Selain dapat ditransmisikan melalui fiber optik, sinyal optik juga dapat ditransmisikan melalui udara bebas yang dikenal dengan sistem Free Space Optic (FSO). Sinyal optik yang ditumpangi oleh sinyal RF dan ditransmisikan melalui serat optik dikenal dengan sistem Radio over Fiber (ROF). Pada sistem ROF, dispersi kromatik fiber menyebabkan terjadinya fluktuasi daya pada sinyal radio frequency (RF) yang diterima. Fluktuasi daya ini menyebabkan kinerja sistem ROF mengalami penurunan yang sangat besar pada panjang fiber tertentu. Pada sistem FSO, sinyal optik mengalami redaman yang dipengaruhi oleh kondisi cuaca. Untuk menghindari kesalahan dalam menentukan panjang fiber yang digunakan pada sistem ROF dan jarak antara pemancar dan penerima pada sistem FSO yang dapat mengakibatkan kinerja sistem tidak memenuhi standar sistem komunikasi optik, maka perlu dilakukan pengukuran kinerja dari kedua sistem ini. Kinerja sistem dalam penelitian ini diukur dari nilai Q-factornya. Nilai Q-factor diperoleh dari simulasi menggunakan software OptiSystem. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan panjang fiber pada sistem ROF yang perlu dihindari adalah pada panjang fiber 0,9 – 1,3 km, 2,7 – 3,5 km, dan 4,7 – 5 km. Hal ini berlaku pada daya laser 0 maupun 10 dBm. Sedangkan jarak maksimum antara pemancar dan penerima pada sistem FSO  0,5 km saat daya laser sebesar 0 dBm dan 1,6 km pada saat daya laser sebesar 10 dBm. Current technological advances have made it possible to superimpose radio frequency (RF) signals over optical signals. Besides being transmitted through optical fiber, optical signals can also be transmitted through free air known as Free Space Optic (FSO) system. Optical signals that are superimposed by RF signals and transmitted through optical fibers are known as Radio over Fiber (ROF) systems. In ROF systems, fiber chromatic dispersion causes power fluctuations in the received radio frequency (RF) signal. These power fluctuations cause the performance of the ROF system to decrease greatly at certain fiber lengths. In FSO systems, optical signals experience attenuation which is influenced by weather conditions. To avoid errors in determining the length of fiber used in the ROF system and the distance between the transmitter and receiver in the FSO system which can result in system performance not meeting the standards of optical communication systems, it is necessary to measure the performance of these two systems. System performance in this study is measured by the Q-factor value. The Q-factor value is obtained from simulations using OptiSystem software. The results of this study show that the fiber lengths in the ROF system that need to be avoided are at fiber lengths of 0.9 - 1.3 km, 2.7 - 3.5 km, and 4.7 - 5 km. This applies to both 0 and 10 dBm laser power. Meanwhile, the maximum distance between the transmitter and receiver in the FSO system is 0.5 km when the laser power is 0 dBm and 1.6 km when the laser power is 10 dBm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Competitive Strategy, Service Expectation and Service Quality on Competitive Advantage Mediated by Customer Satisfaction. The sample used was all customers of PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk amounting to 240 respondents. The research method used in this study is a mixed method or quantitative method and qualitative method. The technique used is proportional sampling with the help of the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) program application operated through SmartPLS 3.0 Software. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Competitive Strategy has a positive and significant effect on Competitive Advantage. Innovation that is difficult for competitors to imitate is a key element in strengthening the company's position in the insurance market. 2) Service Expectation has a positive and significant effect on Competitive Advantage. Meeting customer service expectations has been shown to increase the company's competitiveness. 3) Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Competitive Advantage. Customer trust in employee competence plays an important role in creating competitive advantage. 4) Customer Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on Competitive Advantage and mediates the relationship between Competitive Strategy, Service Expectation, and Service Quality on Competitive Advantage. 5) Competitive Strategy has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Innovation and personalization-based strategies have been shown to increase customer satisfaction. 6) Service Expectation and Service Quality have a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction. Consistent and customer-expected service is a major factor in building customer satisfaction. 7) Customer Satisfaction mediates the relationship between Competitive Strategy, Service Expectation, and Service Quality on Competitive Advantage, emphasizing the importance of focusing on customer experience. 8) Based on the SWOT and EFAS/IFAS analysis, the company's strategy that emphasizes innovation, technology-based services, and product uniqueness has succeeded in taking advantage of market opportunities while overcoming weaknesses, ensuring sustainable competitiveness.

Abstract

Today, people's need for communication has increased and telecommunication services have become basic needs in life. Therefore, broadband transmission system services are needed to support the quality of information flow between customers and the number of customers need access to available information. Fiber optic communication system is one that can be used to overcome these problems because it is very efficient and has high bandwidth. This system has several types of applications including for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and Radio over Fiber (RoF). Usually, these two network systems are built separately, so the study of merging these two systems into a hybrid network is needed for future network efficiency. In previous research, several types of network combinations were carried out using the same wavelength, so they had to create separate components. In this research, a hybrid network design simulation was carried out using optisystem software that combines FTTH and RoF using Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) so that only need to utilize existing components, then performance analysis was carried out in the form of power, Q factor, and Bit error rate (BER). WDM was chosen for several considerations, including increasing capacity, reducing costs, flexibility and scalability. The network is simulated using an OptiSystem, there is an FTTH system from transmitter to receiver consisting of OLT, ODF, ODC, ODP, to the ONT or customer device. Then there is the RoF system to support Wireless Gigabyte (WiGig) communications using QAM modulation. From the simulation carried out by varying the length of the fiber cable, the results of the FTTH network can be said to be suitable for meeting good performance parameters where the simulated performance value in the form of Q factor meets the performance feasibility standard of 6 and the BER is above 10-9, while the RoF at long certain cable system performance has not met feasibility. But overall, the hybrid system using multiplexing offered can work with the expected performance.
