Abstract

Kawasan RT. 15 Kelurahan Karang Joang Balikpapan sering terjadi genangan air yang meluap menjadi banjir setinggi ±60-70 cm dari permukaan tanah dan merendam ±50 rumah warga. Hal ini disebabkan karena dimensi pada saluran eksisting yang ada tidak mampu menampung debit air hujan. Maka dari itu penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji kembali kapasitas saluran drainase yang ada saat ini agar pada 10 tahun ke depan saluran masih dapat menampung debit air hujan dengan optimal. Metode penelitian berupa penelitian kuantitatif dengan menganalisis rumus metode rasional untuk memperoleh debit banjir rencana. Kemudian dilakukan perbandingan debit rencana total dengan kapasitas saluran yang direncanakan dan dilakukan evaluasi terhadap kapasitas saluran drainase yang ada. Berdasarkan analisis didapatkan bahwa debit air hujan saat ini sebesar 2,233 m3/detik dan tidak mampu ditampung saluran dranase karena dimensi 0,75 × 0,6 m hanya mampu menampung debit air sebesar 1,670 m3/detik. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan ulang dimensi dengan perencanaan 10 tahun kedepan debit air rencana didapatkan sebesar 4,810 m3/detik. Maka ukuran yang tepat untuk digunakan pada kawasan ini yaitu dengan lebar bawah 1 m, tinggi muka air 1,2 m, tinggi jagaan 0,7 m dan menggunakan beton bertulang bentuk persegi ini mampu menampung debit air sebesar 5,904 m3/detik. Area of RT. 15 Kelurahan Karang Joang, Balikpapan, there are frequent puddles of water that overflow into floods as high as ±60-70 cm from the ground surface and submerge ±50 residents' houses. This is because the dimensions of the existing canal are unable to accommodate the rainwater discharge. Therefore, this study was conducted to review the capacity of the current drainage channel so that in the next 10 years the channel can still accommodate rainwater discharge optimally. The research method is in the form of quantitative research by analyzing the rational method formula to obtain the planned flood discharge. Then a comparison of the total planned discharge with the planned channel capacity is carried out and an evaluation of the capacity of the existing drainage channel is carried out. Based on the analysis, it was found that the current rainwater discharge is 2.233 m3/second and cannot be accommodated by the drainage channel because the dimensions of 0.75 × 0.6 m are only able to accommodate a water discharge of 1.670 m3/second. After re-calculation of the dimensions with planning for the next 10 years, the planned water discharge is 4.810 m3/second. So the right size for use in this area is with a bottom width of 1 m, a water level of 1.2 m, a guard height of 0.7 m and using reinforced concrete in a square shape capable of accommodating a water discharge of 5.904 m3/second.

Abstract

Dalam suatu proyek konstrusi khususnya pekerjaan jalan harus memiliki daya dukung tanah yang baik, karena beban yang bekerja adalah beban statis dan beban dinamis. Salah satu parameter yang dapat kita ketahui apakah daya dukung tanah dasar itu baik atau tidak yaitu dengan mengetahui nilai CBR nya. Karena seringkali tidak ada pilihan untuk material timbunan, sehingga tanah dengan plastisitas tinggi seperti tanah jenis lempung digunakan sebagai material timbunan, sedangkan persyaratan Standart dari Bina Marga untuk nilai CBR tanah timbunan tidak kurang dari 6%, maka salah satu usaha yang akan dilakukan dalam perbaikan tanah yaitu dengan metode stabilisasi kimiawi menggunakan bahan adiktiv yaitu semen portland. Variasi semen yang digunakan 0%, 5%, 10% dan 15% berdasarkan berat tanah dan umur perendaman selama 4x24 jam, dengan kondisi air optimum. Pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi pengujian sifat fisik tanah asli dan sifat mekanik tanah. Dari hasil penelitian laboratorium dapat diketahui bahwa nilai CBR tanah lempung mengalami peningkatan dengan bertambahnya prosentase semen dibandingkan dengan nilai CBR tanah asli. Nilai CBR maksimum pada prosentase semen 5% sebesar 22,78% dibandingkan dengan nilai CBR tanah asli sebesar 4,88%. In a construction project especially road works must have good ground bearing capacity, because the load that works is a static load and dynamic loads. One parameter that we can use to determine whether the soil bearing capacity is good or poor is by knowing the CBR value. Often there is no option for the hoarding material, While the standard requirements from Bina Marga for the CBR value of landfill are not less than 6%, one of the efforts to be made in soil improvement is the chemical stabilization method using an active ingredient, namely Portland cement. The variation of cement used is 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% based on soil weight and immersion age for 4x24 hour, optimum water condition. The test carried are include physical properties of the original soil and the mechanical properties of the soil. From the results of laboratory research, it can be seen that the CBR value of clay soil has increased with increasing the percentage of cement compared to the original soil CBR. The maximum CBR in 5% cement is 22.78%, the CBR value of the undisturbed soil is 4.88%

Abstract

Sekolah Syarikat Islam Madinatul Iman merupakan sekolah Islam terpadu yang terletak di Kota Balikpapan, dimana dilakukannya rehabilitasi guna untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jumlah tenaga kerja maksimum serta biaya upah tenaga kerja sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan perataan. Software yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Ms Project 2013 denga metode PDM (Precedence Diagramming Method). Pada umumnya PDM terdiri dari dua bagian yaitu: forward analysys (perhitungan ke depan) untuk menentukan Earliest Start (ES) dan Earliest Finish (EF); Backward analysys (perhitungan mundur) untuk menentukan Latest Start (LS) dan Latest Finish (LF). Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu jumlah tenaga kerja maksimum setelah dilakukan perataan sebanyak 17 orang dari 26 orang serta selisih biaya upah tenaga kerja yaitu sebesar Rp5.121.600,00. Madinatul Iman Islamic School is an integrated Islamic school located in Balikpapan City, where rehabilitation is carried out in order to increase comfort in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the maximum number of workers and the cost of labor wages before and after smoothing. The software used in this research is Ms Project 2013 with PDM (Precedence Diagramming Method) method. In general, PDM consists of two parts, namely: forward analysis to determine Earliest Start (ES) and Earliest Finish (EF); Backward analysis (countdown) to determine Latest Start (LS) and Latest Finish (LF). Data were collected by means of observation and interviews. The results of this study are the maximum number of workers after smoothing is 17 people from 26 people and the difference in labor costs is Rp.5,121,600,000.

Abstract

Penyebab genangan air di saluran drainase pada area Seawall di Bandar Udara Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan Balikpapan dikarenakan sedimentasi dan pendangkalan drainase pada saluran existing. Drainase berperan penting untuk mengatur laju air demi pencegahan banjir. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui daya tampung dari dimensi drainase existing yang ada, serta melihat bentuk, kondisi dan arah aliran saluran pada area Seawall tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan, didapatkan debit banjir rencana (Qrencana) sebesar 1,95 m³/s, dan didapatkan hasil debit aktual drainase (Qaktual) Section 1 = 2,858 m³/s pada Section 2 = 2,314 m³/s. Didapatkan juga dimensi drainase rencana (Arencana) sebesar 0,812 m2, dan didapatkan juga hasil dimensi drainase existing sebesar 1,12 m2 pada Section 1, dan 0,96 m2 pada Section 2. Berdasarkan hasil diatas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa drainase pada Section 1 dan 2 masih dapat menampung debit banjir rencana pada kawasan tersebut. Akan tetapi, untuk Section 1 dan 2 diperlukan pengerukan sedimentasi, pembersihan rumput dan sampah buangan dari laut secara berkala, agar drainase dapat bekerja secara optimal. Causes puddle of water in the drainage on Seawall area at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan Airport Balikpapan because of sedimentation and drainage in the existing. Drainage plays an important role in regulating water rates for flood prevention. The purpose of this research is to know the capacity of existing drainage dimensions, as well as to see the shape, condition and direction of the flow of drainage in the Seawall area. Based on the calculation result, obtained flood discharge plan (Qplan) of 1.95 m³/s, and obtained the actual drainage discharge (qactuation) Section 1 = 2.858 m³/s in Section 2 = 2.314 m³/s. Obtained also the dimension of Drainage plan (Aplan) amounting to 0.812 m2, and obtained from the existing drainage dimensions of 1.12 m2 in Section 1, and 0.96 m2 in Section 2. Based on the results above, it can be concluded that the drainage in Section 1 and 2 can still accommodate flood discharge plans in the region. However, sections 1 and 2 are required to periodically drain sedimentation, weed and waste clearance from the sea, so that drainage can work optimally.

Abstract

The growth of traffic flow at Province road Km. 18 of District of Penajam Paser Utara is increasing in every year. The road is crowded path with type 4 lane and 2 ways with a median (4/2 D). The road is main road for residential streets, education area, worship area and government area and that in peak hours is crowded. The study use the Indonesia Highway Capacity Manual (MKJI,1997) for analysis the results. The analysis show degree of saturation (DS): 0,30. Travelling Speed (V) of Light vehicle (V): 44.05 with level service B. From the results of assuming the traffic 5 years, it is obtained traffic volume: 1488 cpu/hours, the degree of saturation: 0.32, the travel speed of light vehicles: 44,05. The high volume of vehicle and the rate of barriers side contribute to the significant influence on the traffic performance along the Province Road Km. 18 of Penajam Paser Utara District. The alternative effective way is to reduce the side barrier. This way reduce effectively the value of degree of saturation to 0,29. The speed of light vehicles is 48.51 km /hours. The side barrier is low (L): 237 events.

Abstract

Pembangun Gedung Motor Control Center sebagai pusat pengendali seluruh mesin di area PT. Balikpapan Chip Lestari sebagai industry pengolahan kayu. Proyek dengan biaya sebesar Rp. 4.109.814.000,- dalam perencanaannya membutuhkan durasi 149 hari (±5 bulan) pelaksanaan. Tetapi pada kenyataannya proyek ini mengalami keterlambatan di lapangan, hingga memasuki bulan ke lima proyek pembangunan gedung ini baru rampung 80,36%. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan percepatan waktu dengan melakukan reschedule ulang semua item pekerjaan menggunakan metode PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) dengan cara menambah jumlah tenaga kerja, durasi dan waktu jeda pada setiap pekerjaan yang ingin dilakukan percepatan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa besar biaya dan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk menyelesaikan proyek pembangunan gedung tersebut setelah dilakukan reschedule menggunakan metode PDM adalah sebesar Rp. 3.580.623.193,69. dengan durasi 140 hari. Yang mana lebih optimal dari rencana awal yaitu dengan biaya sebesar Rp. 3.661.470.659,00 dan durasi 149 hari. In this study, time acceleration will be carried out by rescheduling all work items using the PDM (Precedence Diagram Method) method by increasing the number of workers, duration and pause time for each job that you want to accelerate. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the cost and time required to complete the building construction project after rescheduling using the PDM method was Rp. 3,580,623,193.69. with a duration of 140 days. Which is more optimal than the initial plan, namely at a cost of Rp. 3,661,470,659.00 and a duration of 149 days.

Abstract

The aim of installing convex mirrors is to reduce the number of accidents that occur on Tourism Road. This road is busy with users on weekends and holidays because it is the access to the beach tourism in Girimukti Village Penajam Paser Utara. Convex Mirrors or convex mirrors are additional equipment on roads that function as a tool to increase the visibility of motor vehicle drivers. These convex mirrors are generally installed on the edge of the road in locations where the view of motor vehicle drivers is very limited or obstructed, especially at sharp bends. In this activity, convex mirrors were installed at three points on the Girimukti Penajam Paser Utara Village Tourism Road. The installation point was determined after coordinating with Bhabinkamtibmas, Babinsa, Girimukti Village Government and the local RT. From the coordination results, it was determined that one point in RT 5 and two points in RT 11 were the installation points for the convex mirror. The installation was carried out for one day after previously installing the convex mirror components. So when installing, just insert it into the hole that has been prepared. Based on the results of a review after a week of installation, the community felt helped by the presence of this convex mirror, thereby increasing awareness on Tourism Road.

Abstract

The calculation of the cost budget by consultants mostly uses Microsoft Excel. This causes opportunities for errors due to inaccuracies in interpretation and calculation in elaborating the complexity of the building to be built. Calculations that still use excel in development projects where it can result in a much larger calculation difference resulting in cost overruns. For this reason, it is necessary to require more effective cost estimation planning. One of the latest project management information systems today is Building Information Modeling (BIM). BIM has great potential to share visualize information, visualize construction progress, provide information quickly. Therefore, this research uses BIM 5D (Autodesk Revit software) which functions to estimate the cost budget of a project. The Plan Budget Cost (RAB) figure will not be 100% accurate. The purpose of this study is to determine the comparison and difference in volume calculations and RAB using BIM 5D dimensions with calculations of Planning Consultants on Reinforced Concrete Works in the Office and Post Security Depot Supply Point Pertamina Lubricants Tarakan Construction Project. The results of the calculation with BIM 5D method and the Planner Consultant obtained the results of the calculation of the difference where the comparison of the volume of reinforcement is a difference of 3.83% while in concrete work the difference is 4.37%. Meanwhile, the results of the RAB calculation on reinforced concrete work cost difference of 4.10%.

Abstract

Project management is an effort or activity to planning, leadership, organization and control of company resources to achieve predetermined short-term goals as efficiently and effectively as possible. Optimizing costs and time has many methods that can be used, one of which is often used is Time Cost Trade-Off (TCTO. This method aims to find out how much time and costs are needed to complete the project according to the specified targets. The location of this project is at Senaken Market which is on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Senaken Village, Tanah Grogot District, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan, for Rp. 5.872.872.924,41 and the work duration is 112 days. Alternatives to prevent delays and shorten working time by increasing labor and working hours. From the results of the analysis, it is more effective to increase the number of workers than to increase working hours. The total cost of adding 3 workers is 0.6% less than the total cost of adding 3 hours of work with a work duration of 75 days, 37 days faster than the normal time duration.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the construction industry has significantly advanced in recent years. One of the latest innovations is Building Information Modeling (BIM). This research compares the volume and cost of structural work between the BIM 5D concept and the consultant's results for a 3-storey residential building in Karang Rejo, Central Balikpapan. Using Autodesk Revit, 2D drawings from the consultant were transformed into 3D models. The consultant calculated the concrete volume at 45.26 m³, whereas Autodesk Revit showed 39.34 m³, a difference of 5.92 m³ or 13.08%. For reinforcement work, the consultant's volume was 7,047.95 kg, while Autodesk Revit calculated it at 6,076.28 kg, showing a difference of 971.67 kg or 13.79%. The cost of concrete work was Rp 67,954,242.07 according to the consultant, while Autodesk Revit showed Rp 59,096,016.16, a difference of Rp 8,858,225.91 or 13.04%. The cost of reinforcement work was Rp 125,881,320.57 according to the consultant, while Autodesk Revit calculated it at Rp 108,521,878.90, with a difference of Rp 17,359,441.67 or 13.79%. Using the BIM 3D concept with Autodesk Revit provides more detailed material takeoff results, reduces material waste, and supports the BIM 5D concept for more accurate cost estimation.
