Abstract

With the development of the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry, currently a lot of software has been developed to meet the needs of the construction industry with the aim of minimizing human error due to conventional data processing. This study aims to analyze the results of volume and cost comparisons using the 5D Building Information Modeling (BIM) concept with conventional methods in the New School Unit construction project for integrated Elemntary School and Junior High School development in the South Balikpapan sub-district. By using Revit, the 2D image obtained from the consultant is modeled back into 3D form so that the material volume requirements become more detailed. It can be seen from the consultant's calculation of 961.46kg from the Autodeks Revit 621.34kg software that there is a difference of 340.12kg or 35%, for the volume of concrete work from The consultant's calculation has a volume of 17.65m3 from the Autodeks Revit software which has a volume of 12.01m3, a difference of 5.64m3 or 32%. For concrete work costs from consultants amounting to Rp14,787,292.87 from Autodeks Revit software Rp9,549,377.76, which has a difference of Rp5,237,915.11 or 35%, for concrete work costs from consultants amounting to Rp19,373,381 from Autodeks Revit software, the cost is Rp13,078,977, which has a difference of Rp6,294,404.07 or 32%. This illustrates that using the 3D BIM concept supported by Revit software is able to provide detailed material take-off results so as to reduce wasted material and support the 5D BIM concept in supporting cost estimation calculations.

Abstract

The development of construction technology is currently experiencing rapid progress, with many software programs in the construction field based on the concept of Building Information Modeling (BIM). Among the seven aspects of BIM, one aspect in construction planning is cost estimation planning, also known as BIM 5D. This study aims to analyze the application of the BIM 5D concept using Autodesk Revit 2021 Student Version software. The purpose of this research is to analyze the volume and cost planning using the Building Information Modeling (BIM) 5D concept in structural works, particularly in rebar, concrete, and roof structure works of the Villa construction project on Mulawarman Street, Balikpapan. The method used is to compare the consultant's analysis and BIM analysis. The research results show that the volume with the BIM 5D concept in rebar works is 8.63% smaller than the consultant's analysis, with the BIM 5D concept in concrete works is 9.55% smaller than the consultant's analysis, and with the BIM 5D concept in roof structure works is 64.12% smaller than the consultant's analysis. As for cost calculations, the BIM 5D concept in rebar works is 8.62% smaller than the consultant's analysis, with the BIM 5D concept in concrete works is 9.44% smaller than the consultant's analysis, and with the BIM 5D concept in roof structure works is 64.12% smaller than the consultant's analysis. The conclusion of this research is to identify and evaluate how the use of BIM can affect cost estimation for consultants.

Abstract

Technological advances have entered the 5.0 revolution, where technology in various fields, especially construction, is thriving. The technology is particularly useful in modeling, planning, cost and volume estimation, continuity, and building management. Almost all areas of work have now adopted automation with the use of software, including AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction). One of the technologies in the AEC field is Building Information Modelling (BIM), the BIM 5D Concept has proven to be efficient in handling cost control, as research shows that there is a minimal difference in computation in cost estimation. This study implemented BIM 5D on the Type 300 2-story boarding house construction project in Sepinggan Lestari Housing, Balikpapan. Based on the project's previous cost calculations, MS Excel and 2D images were then compared to Revit software. With a contract value of Rp. 3,275,204,419, the cost of concrete and ironing each is IDR. 156,929,007 and Rp. 550.910.751. Analysis shows that the use of BIM 5D results in more efficient volume and cost calculations than conventional methods. The volume calculation difference for ironing was 6.92%, and for concrete was 15.06%. The difference in ironing costs was 11.54%, and concrete was 15.06%, indicating that the consultant's calculated volume was greater than that of Revit. This study concluded that the implementation of BIM 5D could improve the accuracy of cost and efficiency calculations in construction projects.

Abstract

BIM is present as evidence of the development of digital technology which has influenced and provided benefits in the scope of construction work, starting from project planning, project scheduling, project management, building management and others. Calculating the project cost budget must be done as efficiently as possible to avoid development cost overruns. Therefore, this research uses the 5D Building Information Modeling (BIM) concept which aims to analyze the difference in volume and cost estimates between the BIM method and consultant calculations for the Graha Sucofindo Balikpapan structural work. From the calculation results, it was obtained using the BIM 5D concept that the volume of filling was 86,421.50 kg at a cost of Rp. 1,564,834,100.50 while the volume from consultants was 93,266.75 kg at a cost of Rp. 1,688,781,042.25 for a concrete volume with the BIM 5D concept of 260.12 m3 with a cost of Rp. 539,057,530.84, while the volume from the consultant was 373.41 m3 with a cost of Rp. 773,565,476.31. The results of this calculation show that using the BIM 5D concept in concrete calculations is more economical by IDR. 123,946,941.75 or 7.34% of the consultant's calculation and provision calculation of Rp. 234,507,945.47 or 30.32% more economical than the consultant's calculation. These results show that the implementation of BIM 5D in Autodesk Revit is more efficient in volume calculations and cost estimates.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi, teknologi informasi di bidang konstruksi berkembang pesat, seperti penerapan Building Information Modeling (BIM) yang menggabungkan perencanaan, desain, konstruksi, dan pengelolaan bangunan dengan model 3D. Salah satu software berbasis BIM adalah Autodesk Revit, selain dapat memodelkan secara 3D, juga dapat menampilkan informasi waktu dan penjadwalan, perkiraan biaya, dan perhitungan volume secara bersamaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini akan mengimplementasikan BIM 5D pada Pembangunan Kantor BPD Babulu Darat di Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara, terutama dalam pekerjaan struktur. Tahap awal melibatkan pemodelan gambar rencana ke dalam 3D dan memasukkan harga satuan pekerjaan menggunakan Autodesk Revit, kemudian hasilnya dibandingkan dengan perhitungan konsultan, menghasilkan perbedaan volume pembesian sebesar 295,18 kg atau 5,09% dan biaya Rp 4.674.122,73 atau 5,09%, volume pembetonan sebesar 2,24 m3 atau 2,85% dan biaya Rp 3.952.696,53 atau 3,26%, serta volume struktur rangka atap sebesar 14,25 m atau 2,85% dan biaya Rp 359.100,00 atau 3,14%. Perbedaan biaya keseluruhan pekerjaan struktur antara kedua metode adalah Rp 8.985.919,25 atau 4,02%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa software Autodesk Revit berbasis BIM 5D menghasilkan total volume pekerjaan yang lebih kecil. Hal ini karena pemodelan 3D mampu memberikan output material takeoff yang lebih rinci, sehingga dapat mengurangi pemborosan material dan mendukung estimasi biaya yang lebih akurat.

Abstract

With the increasing development of the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry in the current era, there is a lot of software being developed for the needs of the construction industry which aims to minimize human error due to conventional data processing. This research aims to analyze the results of volume and cost comparisons using the 5D Building Information Modeling (BIM) concept with the consultant method on the Resto Manggar Balikpapan Timur construction project. By using Revit, the 2D image obtained from the consultant is modeled again in 3D form where the volume requirements for structural work become more detailed. We can see from the consultant's calculation that the weight is 11,0881.42 kg from the Autodesk Revit software, it is 10,382.58 kg and has a difference of 698.84 kg or 6 %, for the concrete volume results from the consultant of 132.30 m3, the Autodesk Revit software has a volume of 127.01 m3 and has a difference of 5.29 m3 or 4%. To calculate costs for structural work from the consultant, it is IDR. 193,025,200.89 from Autodesk Revit software has a cost of Rp. 181,502,892.27 which has a cost difference of Rp. 11,522,308.62 or 6%, for the calculation of concrete costs by the consultant of Rp. 203,773,342.67 from Autodesk Revit software amounting to Rp. 195,402,397.86 and has a difference in concrete costs of Rp. 8,370,944.81 or 4%. By using the 3D BIM concept supported by Revit software which is able to provide detailed material takeoff results thereby reducing wasted material and supporting the 5D BIM concept to support cost estimation calculations.

Abstract

Technological advances in the world of construction have brought many benefits, especially in building pomodeling, scheduling, cost estimation, volume changes, building continuity, and building management. A widely used technology is Building Information Modeling (BIM). Accurately estimating construction costs is essential to obtain efficient values during planning. In calculating the cost of construction projects, conventional methods are still often used, resulting in increased costs. Therefore, this research will use the concept of Building Information Modeling (BIM) 5D which aims to analyze the volume and cost estimates, as well as analyze the difference in volume and cost between the BIM method and the Consultant's calculations on the structural work of the construction of the 2-storey boarding house Sepinggan Baru 1. The results showed that the structural work of the construction of the 2-storey boarding house Sepinggan Baru 1 with the Bim 5D concept had a volume of ironwork of 23305.48 kg at a cost of Rp 421.992.326,4, and a concrete volume of 109.05 at a cost of Rp 215,386,847.00. The difference in iron volume is 17,3% while the difference in concrete volume is 0.84%. This means that the calculation using the 5D Building Information Modeling (BIM) concept with the help of Autodesk Revit Software is lower than the cost planning produced by the consultant.

Abstract

Peningkatan rumah sakit yang profesional dan mandiri bertujuan untuk meningkatkan layanan kepada masyarakat. Karena tingginya biaya, perlu optimasi pendanaan dan efektivitas pembangunan gedung IBS ICU Terpadu RSUD Kota Semarang agar pengeluaran tidak melebihi kebutuhan. Salah satu upaya untuk mengoptimalkan anggaran biaya tanpa kehilangan nilai fungsi adalah dengan cara penerapan metode Rekayasa Nilai. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis biaya daur hidup (Life Cycle Cost) dan analisis metode AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). Analisis LCC dapat diterapkan untuk menentukan suatu keputusan alternatif pilihan yang tepat terhadap proyek dengan mempertimbangkan 5 biaya, yaitu initial cost, operational cost, maintenance cost, replacement cost dan salvage value. Metode AHP menggunakan matriks pairwise comparison untuk menentukan alternatif yang dilakukan secara berkelompok. Hasil pembobotan tersebut kemudian akan dibandingkan antara satu dengan yang lainnya untuk mendapatkan solusi terbaik. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan didapatkan alternatif dari analisis LCC dalam penerapan Rekayasa Nilai pada pekerjaan arsitektural Gedung IBS ICU Terpadu RSUD Kota Semarang adalah alternatif 1 untuk pekerjaan pekerjaan lantai dan dinding, sedangkan untuk pekerjaan pasangan bata/plesteran/beton praktis adalah alternatif 5. Untuk hasil alternatif dari analisis AHP adalah alternatif 1 untuk pekerjaan pekerjaan lantai dan dinding, sedangkan untuk pekerjaan pasangan bata/plesteran/beton praktis adalah alternatif 5.

Abstract

Sertifikat Laik Fungsi (SLF) adalah dokumen penting yang dikeluarkan pemerintah daerah dan memastikan bahwa bangunan tersebut memenuhi persyaratan fungsionalitas sebelum digunakan. SLF sangat diperlukan untuk pabrik pengolahan udang beku sebagai salah satu persyaratan utama kegiatan produksi. Sertifikasi ini bertujuan untuk memastikan keamanan konstruksi, kenyamanan dan kelayakan operasional bangunan. Kegiatan ini dimaksudkan untuk menyelidiki kelayakan fungsi pabrik pengolahan udang beku dari berbagai aspek, termasuk struktur, arsitektur, manfaat, dan lingkungan. Pemeriksaan ini memberikan dasar untuk menentukan penyediaan rekomendasi struktur dan peningkatan jika cacat ditemukan dalam aspek -aspek tertentu. Inspeksi dilakukan dengan metode pengamatan langsung untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kondisi bangunan. Selain itu, pengujian hammer test dilakukan pada beberapa bagian struktur untuk menilai kekuatan dan kelayakan bahan bangunan. Data yang diperoleh diproses dalam pembuatan gambar terperinci. Ini akan digunakan untuk ulasan lebih lanjut dan analisis aspek kelayakan fungsional. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan bangunan pabrik pengolahan udang beku masih laik digunakan dalam aspek struktural, konstruksi, manfaat, dan aspek lingkungan. Namun, ada beberapa rekomendasi perbaikan yang perlu dibuat, terutama dalam aspek penggunaan dan lingkungan, untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan keamanan operasi bangunan.
