Abstract

The research aims to analyse the role of Dr Adnan Kapau Gani (A.K. Gani) during the Physical Revolution in South Sumatra (1945-1949). Through a historical approach, the research explores his contributions to the independence struggle, including community organising and natural resource diplomacy, particularly oil. This method involves the process of studying, explaining and critically analysing various data and relics from the past. The results show that he played a role in the military, economy and diplomacy. He played an important role in community mobilisation and the expropriation of resources from the colonialists, as well as in the formation of organisations that supported the struggle for independence. In military terms, he became a resistance leader and coordinated battle strategies against the Dutch. One of them was the Five Days and Five Nights Battle (1-5 January 1947). In addition, he ensured the efficient distribution of war logistics. Furthermore, as Minister of Prosperity, he utilised South Sumatra's natural resources such as oil, rubber, coal to support the struggle for independence and established economic cooperation with the American-Indonesian Corporation to break the Dutch economic blockade. In addition, he also played a role in maintaining communication between the central and regional governments, and was active in international diplomacy to fight for the recognition of the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia. It can be concluded that Dr A.K. Gani was a leader of the Indonesian government.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sinergi dan diferensiasi penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dan Kurikulum Kementerian Agama di SMA IT Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggabungkan metode studi pustaka dan observasi langsung di lapangan. Studi pustaka dilakukan untuk menelaah konsep, kebijakan, serta hasil-hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait kedua kurikulum, sedangkan observasi langsung dilakukan untuk mengamati proses implementasi kurikulum, interaksi guru dan siswa, serta dinamika pembelajaran di lingkungan sekolah. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kedua kurikulum memberikan keunggulan berupa penguatan karakter, kompetensi akademik, dan religiusitas siswa melalui sinergi nilai-nilai Pancasila dan Rahmatan Lil Alamin. Namun, ditemukan pula sejumlah tantangan, seperti pengelolaan waktu, beban belajar, dan kesiapan guru dalam mengelola dua kurikulum secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model integrasi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan peningkatan pelatihan guru agar implementasi kurikulum ganda dapat berjalan lebih optimal dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pendidikan masa kini

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Sejarah masjid Cheng Ho Palembang tahun 2006-2024 . Adapun rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah bagaimana sejarah berdirinya masjid Cheng Ho Palembang, bagaimana peran orang-orang muslim tionghoa dalam pembangunan masjid Cheng Ho Palembang dan bagaimana aktifitas-aktifitas yang ada di masjid Cheng Ho Palembang. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui sejarah berdirinya masjid Cheng Ho Palembang, untuk mengkaji bagaimana peran peran maslim tionghoa dalam pembangunan masjid Cheng Ho Palembang dan bagaimana aktifitas-aktifitas yang diadakan di Masjid Cheng Ho Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah histori dengan langkah-langkah penelitian yaitu heuristic, kritik sumber, interpretasi dan historiografi. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan agama, budaya dan Antropologi. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah masjid Cheng Ho Palembang ini didirikan oleh PITI dan diresmikan tahun 2008 sebagai monumen untuk mengenang Laksamana Cheng Ho, seorang tokoh Tionghoa yang pernah berkunjung ke Palembang pada abad ke-15. Peran muslim tionghoa dalam pembangunan masjid Cheng Ho Palembang yaitu penggalangan dana, inisiasi pembangunan.Aktifitas yang diadakan di Masjid Chenh Ho saat ini adalah aktifitas agama dan aktifitas sosial

Abstract

This research examines the institutional evolution of FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya (1960-2024) within the conflict between centralized national education policy and local reactions. This research improves the study of Indonesian higher education by explaining how government actions, political factors, and local efforts have shaped the development of FKIPs. Historical methodology was systematically employed through four stages: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Primary sources included institutional archives, governmental decrees, and interviews with pivotal figures. The results indicate that FKIP's structural modifications were not solely administrative but stemmed from a complex process of negotiation and contestation. This research enhances the comprehension of institutional dynamics in postcolonial higher education by emphasizing the interplay between central policies and local adaptations. FKIP Universitas Sriwijaya exemplifies the evolution of teacher education institutions in response to regulatory pressures while preserving their societal significance.

Abstract

Industri karet Indonesia menghadapi tantangan signifikan akibat fluktuasi harga global dan perubahan kondisi produksi yang mempengaruhi kesejahteraan petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dinamika sosial ekonomi petani karet di Desa Epil, Kecamatan Lais, Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin periode 2016-2020. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif historis. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan 25 informan (15 petani pemilik lahan, 7 petani penggarap, 2 aparat desa, 1 tokoh masyarakat), observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan metode sejarah dengan triangulasi sumber. Fluktuasi harga karet dari Rp8.000/kg (2017) menjadi Rp5.500/kg (2018) menyebabkan penurunan pendapatan rata-rata petani sebesar 44%. Luas lahan produktif relatif stabil 875 hektar, namun produksi menurun dari 989,93 ton (2017) menjadi 805,95 ton (2018). Sistem kepemilikan lahan timpang dengan rasio bagi hasil 70:30 atau 80:20 menciptakan stratifikasi ekonomi. Biaya produksi tinggi (Rp36.800.000/ha untuk pemupukan) memperparah kondisi ekonomi petani. Dinamika sosial ekonomi petani karet sangat dipengaruhi volatilitas harga, sistem kepemilikan lahan, dan biaya produksi tinggi. Diperlukan kebijakan stabilisasi harga, subsidi input produksi, program peremajaan tanaman, dan diversifikasi ekonomi untuk meningkatkan resiliensi petani karet.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the team-assisted individualization model on the social skills of students in the historical subjects in Senior High School Palembang. The type of method used in this study is quasi-experimental. Class XI IPA 3 as an experimental class using random sampling. Data collection techniques used in this study are using questionnaire and observation, data analysis techniques used data homogeneity test, data linearity test, and simple regression test with significant level Fhitung ˃ Ftabel with real level (α = 0,05). The result of Fhitung obtained is 5,40 while to find Ftabel that is db = 1 as the numerator and db = 34 as the denominator and consulted to table F is obtained 4,13. Statistical calculations have obtained the results Fhitung ˃ Ftabel (5,40 ˃ 4,13) that means there was the influence of team assisted individualization model on the social skills of students in the historical subjects in Senior High School Palembang.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model pembelajaran team assisted individualization terhadap keterampilan sosial peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah Sekolah Menengah Atas Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan quasi eksperimen. Kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yakni dengan menggunakan angket dan observasi. Teknik uji prasyarat analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji homogenitas data, uji linearitas data, dan uji regresi sederhana dengan taraf signifikan Fhitung ˃ Ftabel dan taraf α = 0,05. Hasil Fhitung didapat 5,40 sementara untuk mencari Ftabel yakni db = 1 sebagai pembilang dan db = 34 sebagai penyebut dan di konsultasikan ke tabel F didapat 4,13. Perhitungan statistik diperoleh hasil Fhitung˃ Ftabel (5,40 ˃ 4,13) yang artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran team assisted individualization terhadap keterampilan sosial peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah di Sekolah Menengah Atas Palembang.

Abstract

This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interview methods, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that in general, the condition of the tomb complex is still well maintained even though there is minor damage due to natural factors and lack of intensive care. The Sakatiga Village community has a positive perception of the existence of the tomb, which is considered an important historical and spiritual site. The tradition of pilgrimage and other religious activities are still actively carried out, strengthening social relations and the cultural identity of the local community. This study also found that the tomb has an important role in the social, cultural, and spiritual life of the community, and has the potential to become a cultural tourism object that can increase awareness of the preservation of local cultural heritage. Therefore, the preservation of the tomb and education for the younger generation are very important to ensure the sustainability of this cultural heritage in the future.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative literature study research with a comparative method. The method used in this research uses the comparative research model from Bereday to present and analyze this research data. Testing the validity of the data was carried out by source triangulation which was carried out by analyzing various literature sources. The purpose of writing this article is to compare the history curriculum developed in Indonesia with that in Australia. The analysis focused on curriculum elements, materials and assessments from the two countries, namely Indonesia and Australia. The results of the analysis show that there are differences between the Indonesian and Australian history curricula, namely in terms of elements, materials and assessment. Indonesia emphasizes the formation of historical awareness and national identity, while Australia places more emphasis on developing interest, understanding and historical inquiry skills. The Indonesian system emphasizes concept and process skills, while Australia has material that is more integrated between knowledge and understanding and skills. On the evaluation side, Indonesia gives freedom to educational units, while Australia uses various types of tests. Although different in approach, both share a common focus on developing a deep understanding of history and analytical skills in students

Abstract

This study examines the National Monument (Monas) as a dynamic symbolic structure that reflects shifting configurations of state authority and urban modernity in Jakarta from 2012 to 2022. The research is grounded in the premise that urban monuments in postcolonial cities function not only as historical markers but also as political instruments that articulate national identity and territorial power. The study aims to trace the historical evolution, symbolic transformations, and spatial politics surrounding Monas within the broader context of Jakarta’s development. Employing a historical method combined with a symbolic–critical qualitative approach, data were collected from state documents, archival records, city planning maps, photographic documentation, and media reports. The findings reveal that the meaning of Monas has transitioned from a revolutionary symbol under Sukarno to a contested urban icon shaped by modernization, revitalization policies, and shifting political agendas. These transformations highlight tensions between heritage preservation, state authority, and contemporary urban aesthetics. The study contributes to understanding how public monuments generate political meaning and how urban spaces become sites of negotiation between the state and society. It concludes by emphasizing the need for participatory and interdisciplinary approaches in future research on public space and symbolic landscapes.

Abstract

This study examines the political dynamics and contentious aspects of urban redevelopment in Jakarta from 2012 to 2022. The research aims to analyze the production, negotiation, and contestation of the city's spatial future by various actors, including the state, capital, and citizens, through regulatory planning, extensive infrastructure initiatives, and quotidian resistance practices. This study employs historical methods and urban historical analysis, utilizing primary sources including provincial spatial planning documents (RTRW, RPJMD), gubernatorial regulations, media archives, and court rulings concerning eviction disputes. Source criticism and interpretation were utilized to elucidate the interaction of modernization narratives, capital accumulation strategies, and community rights. The findings indicate that Jakarta's urban transformation has been propelled by a confluence of top-down governmental policies and the real estate shift facilitating capital accumulation via Transit-Oriented Development projects, reclamation, and mega-infrastructure, alongside grassroots citizen resistance manifested through litigation, advocacy, and the co-production of alternative spaces. These processes generate a spatial arrangement marked by modernization and exacerbating socio-spatial inequality. The study concludes that Jakarta exemplifies contested urbanism, wherein the city functions not merely as a neutral vessel for development but as a political arena influenced by continuous conflicts, negotiations, and compromises. This research enhances global urban studies by providing a nuanced comprehension of spatial politics in the Global South and emphasizing the necessity for inclusive, participatory planning to guarantee that future urban transformations reconcile economic growth with social justice.
