Abstract

Aspects of language is one aspect that is owned by early childhood that must be stimulated. At this time, children's language skills have not been optimally stimulated and have not been designed through interesting activities. The aim of this research is to describe the need to implement early childhood language development through Outdoor Learning Activity. This study uses a survey method. The subjects were educators at Early Childhood Education institutions under the auspices of Himpaudi Magelang Regency, the Bustanul Athfal Teachers' Association, the Raudhatul Athfal Teachers' Association totaling 40 educators. The data collection tool used a questionnaire at the FGD event to identify the implementation of OLA in developing early childhood language. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis, namely describing facts with the right interpretation to recognize phenomena and to describe accurately some of the phenomena, groups or individuals that are happening. The results showed that 27.03% of educators had implemented OLA every day and had not optimally developed children's language skills. Stimulation of children's language is still carried out monotonously in the classroom by using conversation method by 24%, storytelling 22%, and question and answer 11%. So that it has not fulfilled the BAN PAUD and PNF accreditation instruments, namely education units that apply interesting learning activities outdoors to get at least 30 minutes of sunlight every day. This supports the need for OLA learning designs to take advantage of the potential of the child's environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penyesuaian akademik dan motivasi akademik terhadap technostress pada mahasiswa. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik random berstrata (Stratified random sampling) dengan N=118 dari populasi yang berjumlah 166 dan merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi dan Humaniora Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh berdasarkan pengukuran menggunakan skala academic adjustment, skala academic motivation scale (AMS) dan skala technostress yang diberikan secara online dalam bentuk google form. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi berganda untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh penyesuaian akademik dan motivasi akademik terhadap technostress. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penyesuaian akademik dan motivasi akademik secara simultan signifikan berpengaruh terhadap technostress dengan nilai R square 0,178 dan signifikansi 0,00 (p<0,05), sehingga penyesuaian akademik dan motivasi akademik berkontribusi sebanyak 17,8% pada technostress dan 82,2% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian ini. Penyesuaian akademik ditemukan signifikan berpengaruh negatif terhadap technostress dengan nilai koefisien regresi -0,474 dan signifikansi 0,000 (p>0,05). Adapun motivasi akademik ditemukan signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel technostress dengan nilai koefisien regresi 0,496 dan signifikansi 0,001 (p<0,05).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa pengaruh kontrol diri dan efikasi terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa dalam belajar online. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang yang mengikuti pembelajaran secara online selama pandemi COVID-19. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling (N = 364 orang). Data dianalisis dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh kontrol diri dan efikasi diri terhadap prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa dalam belajar online (R = 0,761, R2 = 0,579, F (2, 361) = 247,8, p<0,01). Peningkatan kontrol diri dan efikasi diri berkontribusi pada penurunan prokrastinasi akademik dalam belajar online sebesar 57,9%. Semakin tinggi kontrol diri dan efikasi diri mahasiswa, maka semakin berkurang prokrastinasi akademiknya. Model regresi pengaruh kedua variabel bebas pada variabel tergantung adalah Prokrastinasi Akademik = 109,804 – 0,351*(Kontrol Diri) – 0,333*(Efikasi Diri). Disimpulkan bahwa prokrastinasi akademik mahasiswa dalam belajar online dapat diatasi dengan meningkatkan kemampuan kontrol diri dan efikasi diri mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kestabilan emosi terhadap manajemen diri orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan bentuk penelitian korelasional. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 113 dari orang tua SD ITQ As Syafi’iyah. Proses analisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai korelasi/hubungan (R) yaitu sebesar 0.670 dan nilai koefisien (R Square) sebesar 0.449, sehingga dapat di artikan terdapat pengaruh variabel bebas (kestabilan emosi) terhadap variabel terikat (manajemen diri) adalah sebesar 44.9%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kestabilan emosi memiliki pengaruh terhadap manajemen diri orang tua dalam mendampingin anak belajar secara daring.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is a global problem that has disrupted and delayed several national and international sports competitions. Athletes face the direct psychological consequences of Covid-19 such as cancellation of competitions, loss of support, lack of training, loss of income, excessive vigilance and anxiety. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relationship between resilience, mental toughness, and intrinsic motivation in national competitive athletes in Central Java, Indonesia during the pandemic. A total of 225 athletes from 23 sports who have participated in various nationally standardized competitions were involved in this study. The results showed that resilience was positively related to mental toughness (r = 0.616) and also to intrinsic motivation (r = 0.466). Mental toughness and intrinsic motivation, significantly predict resilience (R2 = 0.393). The findings of this study contribute that developing a mental toughness mindset and strengthening athletes' intrinsic motivation can represent intervention targets for resilient adaptation programs in the face of an uncertain pandemic situation.

Abstract

Tangguh Waste Bank is located in Wonosuko Hamlet, Tegalrejo Village, Tegalrejo District, Magelang Regency. The Tangguh Waste Bank has recently been established, so there are several shortcomings, including a lack of understanding of community ecoliteracy, which hinders community involvement in managing waste more broadly. To overcome these obstacles, community service activities were carried out with program targets for waste bank administrators based on a green economy. The implementation of the service uses a participatory approach method, focusing on: 1) socialization of the management of waste banks and reading corners, 2) training and guidance on the management of waste banks and reading corners, 3) outbound management of waste banks and the community to increase cooperation and cohesiveness between members. The results achieved through this activity include the preparation of a one-year work program for Tangguh Waste Bank management, equipped with a timeline and the person responsible for each sub-work program. Additionally, the level of management participation in activities increased by 53%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop measurement instruments for executive functions (EF) in preschool children based on behavioral observation using a rating scale to identify the level of EF ability in children from an early age. Floating EF measurement instruments are adapted and modified by the existing scale, namely the 2nd edition Behavioral Rating Inventory of Executive Functions (BRIEF) prepared by Gioia, Isquith, Guy, and Kenworthy (2015). This study was designed using a research development method consisting of several stages: translation, synthesis, back translations, expert committee review, and pretesting (Beaton et al., 2000). The results of this study indicate that in 60 items of the eight components in the Indonesian version of the executive functions rating scale, 56 items have a high total item correlation index, and four items have a low total item correlation. The reliability value of the scale is 0.965, which indicates that the Indonesian version of the executive functions rating scale is reliable for use.

Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan yang dibutuhkan di era abad 21. Kemampuan tersebut harus dimulai sejak anak usia dini, maka sangat penting khususnya bagi guru anak usia dini untuk memberikan berbagai kegiatan untuk dapat mendukung kemampuan kreativitas anak. Studi yang akan dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui keyakinan guru tentang kreativitas anak usia dini. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 44 guru pendidikan anak usia dini yang ada di kabupaten Magelang, Jawa tengah, Indonesia. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Questionnaire Examining Student Teachers’ Beliefs about Creativity (QESTBC). Hasil dan implikasi dari penelitian ini akan dibahas pada studi ini. Creativity is an ability that is needed in the 21st century. This ability must start from early childhood, so it is very important, especially for early childhood teachers, to provide various activities to support children's creative abilities. The study that will be carried out aims to determine teachers' beliefs about early childhood creativity. The sample used was 44 early childhood education teachers in Magelang district, Central Java, Indonesia. The instrument used was the Questionnaire Examining Student Teachers' Beliefs about Creativity (QESTBC). The results and implications of this research will be discussed in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to perform reliable analysis and factor analysis of the TSCC instrument to measure trauma in CSA survivors. This research method used the CFA technique while the sample of this study was 62 children with several criteria, namely aged 8 to 17 years, had a history of experiencing sexual violence in the previous two years, and were willing to participate in this study. The results of this study indicate that the CSA instrument is proven to be reliable with score 0.862 and the EFA results show that there are two factors formed. The first factor consists of post-traumatic stress, anxiety, dissociation and sexual concern which is called the neuroticism factor. The second factor consists of depression and anger which is called the depression factor. It is hoped that the results of this study will be able to provide a valid instrument for measuring trauma so that it can be applied to children who have experienced CSA so they can get the right intervention to heal their trauma.

Abstract

Background: Children may face a difficulty in maintaining concentration during learning sessions, a factor that varies among individuals. At TPA (Quranic Education Center) Uswatun Khasanah Banyusidi, Pakis, Magelang, students also encounter issues with concentration and focus in their studies. Objective: This study aims to achieve several objectives: (1) assess the level of a child's learning concentration, (2) explore how psychoeducation, using storytelling, movement games, and songs, can improve a child’s concentration, and and (3) evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation in enhancing a child’s learning concentration. Method: The research adopts a classroom action research design, comprising two cycles. The process involves planning, implementing interventions, observing outcomes, and reflecting on results. Results: After Cycle 1, 41.02% of children met the expected development criteria, increasing to 79.48% in Cycle 2, with 53.84% meeting expected development and 25.64% demonstrating excellent progress. Conclusion: The use of psychoeducation through storytelling, movement, and songs at TPA (Quranic Education Center) Uswatun Khasanah Dayugo has successfully improved children’s learning concentration in each session.Abstrak Latar Belakang: Anak mungkin mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga konsentrasi saat pembelajaran, faktor yang berbeda-beda pada setiap individu. Di TPA (Pusat Pendidikan Al-Quran) Uswatun Khasanah Banyusidi, Pakis, Magelang, siswa juga mengalami kendala konsentrasi dan fokus dalam belajar. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencapai beberapa tujuan: (1) menilai tingkat konsentrasi belajar anak, (2) mengeksplorasi bagaimana psikoedukasi, dengan menggunakan bercerita, permainan gerak, dan lagu, dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi anak, dan (3) mengevaluasi efektivitas psikoedukasi dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar anak. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Prosesnya meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan intervensi, pengamatan hasil, dan refleksi hasil. Hasil: Setelah Siklus 1, 41,02% anak memenuhi kriteria perkembangan yang diharapkan, meningkat menjadi 79,48% pada Siklus 2, dengan 53,84% memenuhi perkembangan yang diharapkan dan 25,64% menunjukkan kemajuan sangat baik. Kesimpulan: Penggunaan psikoedukasi melalui bercerita, gerak, dan lagu di TPA (Pusat Pendidikan Quran) Uswatun Khasanah Dayugo berhasil meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar anak pada setiap sesinya.
