Abstract

Background: Children may face a difficulty in maintaining concentration during learning sessions, a factor that varies among individuals. At TPA (Quranic Education Center) Uswatun Khasanah Banyusidi, Pakis, Magelang, students also encounter issues with concentration and focus in their studies. Objective: This study aims to achieve several objectives: (1) assess the level of a child's learning concentration, (2) explore how psychoeducation, using storytelling, movement games, and songs, can improve a child’s concentration, and and (3) evaluate the effectiveness of psychoeducation in enhancing a child’s learning concentration. Method: The research adopts a classroom action research design, comprising two cycles. The process involves planning, implementing interventions, observing outcomes, and reflecting on results. Results: After Cycle 1, 41.02% of children met the expected development criteria, increasing to 79.48% in Cycle 2, with 53.84% meeting expected development and 25.64% demonstrating excellent progress. Conclusion: The use of psychoeducation through storytelling, movement, and songs at TPA (Quranic Education Center) Uswatun Khasanah Dayugo has successfully improved children’s learning concentration in each session.Abstrak Latar Belakang: Anak mungkin mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga konsentrasi saat pembelajaran, faktor yang berbeda-beda pada setiap individu. Di TPA (Pusat Pendidikan Al-Quran) Uswatun Khasanah Banyusidi, Pakis, Magelang, siswa juga mengalami kendala konsentrasi dan fokus dalam belajar. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencapai beberapa tujuan: (1) menilai tingkat konsentrasi belajar anak, (2) mengeksplorasi bagaimana psikoedukasi, dengan menggunakan bercerita, permainan gerak, dan lagu, dapat meningkatkan konsentrasi anak, dan (3) mengevaluasi efektivitas psikoedukasi dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar anak. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas, yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Prosesnya meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan intervensi, pengamatan hasil, dan refleksi hasil. Hasil: Setelah Siklus 1, 41,02% anak memenuhi kriteria perkembangan yang diharapkan, meningkat menjadi 79,48% pada Siklus 2, dengan 53,84% memenuhi perkembangan yang diharapkan dan 25,64% menunjukkan kemajuan sangat baik. Kesimpulan: Penggunaan psikoedukasi melalui bercerita, gerak, dan lagu di TPA (Pusat Pendidikan Quran) Uswatun Khasanah Dayugo berhasil meningkatkan konsentrasi belajar anak pada setiap sesinya.

Abstract

Dalam proses belajar mengajar, kreativitas mengajar guru memainkan peran penting dalam peningkatan mutu hasil belajar siswa. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kreativitas mengajar guru adalah motivasi kerja. Apabila guru mempunyai motivasi motivasi kerja yang tinggi, mereka akan terorong dan berusaha untuk meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kreativitas mengajar guru di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN). Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan Skala motivasi kerja dan skala kreativitas. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuisioner secara langsung dan dianalisis dengan teknik regresi linear sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas mengajar guru dengan nilai R2 = 0,420. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kreativitas mengajar guru. Adanya penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan masukan kepada sekolah dan guru untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kreativitas guru dalam mengajar.

Abstract

Student learning motivation refers to how students get the urge to learn. Learning motivation can be obtained from three aspects, namely extrinsic, intrinsic, and combination motivation. This study aims to determine the analysis related to how the level of motivation for elementary school student learning is influenced by intrinsic factors, extrinsic factors, as well as a combination of both factors. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative, with data collection methods that refer to the Scale of Intrinsic versus Extrinsic Orientation in The Classroom (Susan Harter's Intrinsic Orientation Scale in Classes) owned by Susan Harter in 1981. Based on the analysis using the SPSS program, as many as 50 , 4% (57 students) of 113 elementary school students in Magelang City had a high level of motivation to learn combination. While the remaining 49.6% (35 students) are divided into categories of extrinsic learning motivation categories, namely 31% of 113 students, and 18.6% (21 students) of 113 students have a tendency for intrinsic learning motivation.

Abstract

Tangguh Waste Bank is a newly established waste bank located in Dusun Wonosuko, Magelang Regency, which has been successful in processing inorganic waste. However, there is no management of organic waste yet. The Wonosuko Asri Farmers' Women Group (KWT), as the waste bank manager, still has limited knowledge about farming and inadequate equipment. The purpose of this activity is to help KWT Wonosuko Asri improve their skills in organic waste management and transform vacant land into a nutritional garden as a step to increase food security. The focus of this activity is 1) increasing public awareness of stunting, 2) teaching compost making, 3) providing counseling on organic waste management, and 4) holding children's wide games to promote healthy eating patterns. The implementation of the activity begins with socialization, counseling, practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The results achieved through this activity include the formation of the KWT Dusun Wonosuko Asri organizational structure to implement follow-up programs, the creation of nutritional gardens and liquid organic fertilizer, and the stimulation of children to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji penerapan disiplin positif dalam meningkatkan pengendalian emosi dan perilaku sosial anak usia dini. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan orang tua di PAUD Kabupaten Magelang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin positif meningkatkan regulasi emosi anak, memperbaiki interaksi sosial, dan meningkatkan motivasi akademik. Namun, kendala seperti kurangnya pemahaman orang tua dan ketidakkonsistenan penerapan di rumah masih menjadi tantangan utama. Strategi efektif meliputi edukasi orang tua, kolaborasi sekolah dan keluarga, serta penerapan aturan fleksibel berbasis pemahaman anak. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan disiplin positif secara konsisten dapat mendukung pembentukan karakter mandiri, meningkatkan hubungan interpersonal, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar kondusif di PAUD. Hasil ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pendidik, orang tua, dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang intervensi berbasis disiplin positif guna mengoptimalkan perkembangan anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study explores the perceptions of educators, students, and parents regarding the implementation of positive discipline in schools and its influence on students’ academic motivation. It examines how principals, teachers, students, supervisors, and parents understand and apply positive discipline, including its various forms, perceived effectiveness, challenges, and supporting factors. Data were gathered through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with 30 participants divided into four stakeholder-based groups. Using thematic analysis, the findings reveal that teachers’ understanding of positive discipline remains inconsistent, affecting the quality and uniformity of its implementation. While positive reinforcement and reflective group discussions are commonly practiced, punitive approaches still appear in some classrooms. The study shows that positive discipline contributes to increased student motivation, stronger classroom engagement, and healthier relationships within the school environment. Challenges include limited teacher training, inconsistent application, and occasional resistance from students or parents, whereas supportive school policies and strong communication with families serve as enabling factors. The study acknowledges several limitations, including a relatively small and heterogeneous participant group and the reliance on FGDs, which may introduce social desirability bias. Additionally, because the research focuses on senior high and vocational schools, its findings may not fully represent other educational levels. Despite these limitations, the study underscores the need for institutional support, ongoing teacher professional development, and active parental involvement to enhance the practice of positive discipline. It provides a culturally grounded perspective on positive discipline in Indonesian schools and highlights its role in fostering student motivation and cultivating a positive educational climate.

Abstract

The City Government of Magelang has implemented the Rodanya Mas Bagia program to reduce the poverty rate. There is no information showing the evaluation, success, constraints, obstacles or carrying capacity of the Wheel of Mas Bagia flagship program. it is necessary to analyze the program objectively to monitor the progress and success of the Rodanya Mas Bagia program, to fulfill the answer to the transparency of the Magelang City Government's flagship program. The research objective is to describe; 1) results of evaluation of the context, input, process, product regarding the wheel program, bro; 2) assess feasibility, 3) prepare sustainability recommendations. Evaluative research with the CIPP evaluation model approach. The primary data source in this study is community satisfaction mapping data obtained through the response of the program target community, the performance of the actors, the program implementing committee. The population of all RTs is 1,201 RTs. Samples with the slovin formula obtained as many as 93 RT. The sampling technique in this study was a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection methods with questionnaires, interviews, observation, documentation. The data analysis used is descriptive percentage to determine the feasibility level of the CIPP evaluation aspect. Analysis of recommendations and sustainability with qualitative descriptions, with saturated data from triangulation of data, sources, methods, and time. Efforts to increase the credibility of the data are carried out by extending the research time and re-examining the research data obtained. The results of the study, the description of the CIPP evaluation explained in quantitative data that the aspect with the lowest quantification is context evaluation with a percentage of 58%, input evaluation with a percentage of 69%. Process evaluation component with a percentage of 66%. product evaluation with a percentage of 69%. The feasibility of the program, the legal aspects fulfill the legal legality aspects, do not violate legal and statutory aspects and are worthy of being continued. A positive culture that strengthens empowerment: a culture of mutual cooperation in solving problems, reaching consensus, identifying problems, and discussing and agreeing on solutions. Sustainability of the program is continued and continued with socialization, understanding of the community regarding the objectives and essence of the program. Community participation can be optimized so as to increase the degree of welfare. Scheme of technical assistance for program proposals in accordance with the professional field.

Abstract

Kesiapan sekolah merupakan hal penting yang harus diperhatikan saat anak akan memasuki jenjang pendidikan formal. Oleh karena itu perlu dikaji faktor apa yang dianggap penting yang dapat berpengaruh pada kesiapan sekolah anak usia prasekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kebugaran fisik dan executive functions pada anak prasekolah. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 232 anak TK B yang berada pada usia 66 bulan – 84 bulan di Kota Magelang. Melalui analisis regresi, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebugaran fisik dan executive functions berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan sekolah anak, dimana executive functions berperan sebagai mediator.
