Abstract

As a distributor, Rizky Pasar Tengah stores tend to pay less attention to inventory problems, so that consumer demands often cannot be met optimally. Therefore, Toko Rizky Pasar Tengah requires more optimal inventory control calculations. This research aims to test appropriate inventory control for stores, so that total inventory costs can be minimized. This research uses a simple probabilistic method and the P Lost sales model. based on the results of data processing, the total cost difference between inventory control carried out by the shop using the simple the P Lost sales Probabilistic method, for the cv. simple, and cost reduction of 11% using the P Lost sales Probabilistic model with a difference of IDR 72,041,858.-. of the total costs incurred by the shop amounting to Rp. 660,241,415,- in a period of 3 months. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengenai pengembangan desain motif batik Lawai (Lampung Wawai) dengan menggunakan aplikasi digital. Adapun tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah sebagai salah satu upaya dari pengembangan desain batik Lampung dengan membuat suatu desain batik Lampung konsep baru yang memiliki ciri khas tersendiri dengan aplikasi digital.Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perancangan desain yang meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu observasi pada motif, pembuatan motif dan pembuatan desain. Hasil dari desain batik Lawai berisikan unsur motif yang diambil dari unsur kebudayaan Lampung, diantaranya motif siger, badik Lampung, payung adat, pasanganmerak yang menggunakan siger dan kopiah Lampung, durian, lapis legit, dan aksara Lampung. Pembuatan desain batik dengan konsep “Batik Lawai” bercirikan sebuah desain yang lebih ekspresif dan menggunakan imaginatif personal dengan menggunakan aplikasi IbisPaintX dan CorelPhotoPaint. Pengembangan desain batik Lawai ini merupakan salah satu upaya memajukan warisan budaya khususnya budaya Lampung, dan melestarikan kekayaan intelektual batik Indonesia.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to design a semi-automatic corn sprayer that better meets the needs of modern farmers. Current standard sprayers often fall short in terms of user-friendliness and efficiency in applying fertilizers or pesticides. The goal of this research is to design a semi-automatic sprayer that optimizes corn plant care, aligning with farmers' preferences while considering ergonomics and safety factors through QFD. The research identified three primary attributes: portability, ease of operation, and material quality. Five key areas for improvement were also found: pipe connections (36.54%), sprinkler type (34.62%), nozzle size (19.23%), sprinkler distance (7.69%), and machine capacity (1.92%), as determined by the House of Quality matrix

Abstract

PT. ZZ is a company engaged in the processing of crude palm oil, often called Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and its derivatives. The production process in this company has two steps, namely the Refinery Plant and the Fractionation Plant. In the production process at the Refinery Plant, there is often a quality of Refined Bleached Deodorized Palm Oil (RBDPO) that does not comply with the qualifications determined by the company. The number of defective products will have an impact on the time and cost of production, which will increase. This study aims to determine and identify the causes of defective products in the production process using the six sigma method with the DMAIC approach so that it can be a proposal for improvement in the future. The results of this research are that the average sigma value obtained from January 2024 to April 2024 is 5.25, and the average DPMO value from January 2024 to April 2024 is 92.5. The sigma value shows a number that is close to the desired sigma target, namely 6, and based on Pareto diagram analysis, shows that the dominant defect is Free Fatty Acid (FFA). Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa dan dosen di objek wisata Umbul Helau Lampung bertujuan untuk membantu mitra dalam menyelesaikan masalah mengenai penyiraman tanaman yang selama ini dilakukan secara manual dengan menghidupkan pompa air ketika akan menyiram tanaman dan mematikannya ketika sudah selesai yang dilakukan oleh karyawan di lokasi seluas 1,5 hektar. Kadangkala penyiraman tanaman sering sekali tertunda bahkan terlewatkan. Bentuk bantuan yang diberikan oleh tim pengabdian adalah dengan menginstalasi alat penyiram tanaman otomatis menggunakan prinsip kerja dari timer switch untuk menghidupkan dan mematikan pompa air yang dibantu sprinkler agar penyiraman tanaman berjalan secara otomatis. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah service learning yaitu integrasi pembelajaran di bangku kuliah ke dunia nyata dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu observasi dan wawancara di lapangan, perencanaan dan menetapkan target, pengumpulan alat dan bahan serta melakukan perakitan panel kontrol, pemasangan panel kontrol, lalu uji coba dan pengetesan, dan terakhir menjelaskan cara kerja panel kontrol dan proses pengoperasiannya kepada mitra. Instalasi alat penyiraman di wisata Umbul Helau berjalan baik dimana alat bekerja dan berfungsi dengan baik dan otomatis dan terbukti sangat membantu pihak pengelola dan karyawan dalam melakukan penyiraman tanaman yang ada di lokasi wisata.

Abstract

This research studies the analysis of occupational safety and health on the PLTU unit 9-10 Java Suralaya construction project using the FMEA method at PT. W. In companies there are still risks that cause work accidents to occur frequently based on company data. The aim of this research is to identify and provide recommendations for the risk of work accidents for workers in the company. The methodology used in this research is FMEA. The results of this research are that there are 5 types of work accidents, namely material scratches, material impacts, slips, electric shocks and falls from heights, with the highest RPN being material scratches (24.28); and the lowest RPN value is Falling from a Height (18.24). There is 1 critical category (scratched by material) and 4 non-crisis categories (struck by material, slipped, electrocuted, fell from a height). Abstract

High noise levels, as well as insufficient or excessive lighting and extreme room temperatures, can have an impact on employee Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). In testing service companies, employee complaints regarding physical work environment conditions—such as noise from laboratory equipment, overly bright lighting, and excessively cold room temperatures—indicate potential risks to occupational health and safety. This study aims to analyze the influence of physical environmental factors in the workplace. A descriptive analysis method was used to interpret primary and secondary data, which were then compared with Threshold Limit Values (TLVs), and followed by improvement recommendations using fishbone analysis. Measurement data showed the highest noise level in the analyst room at 83.1 dBA, close to the TLV of 85 dBA. The highest lighting levels were found in the BITU division head’s room and at Hilman’s desk, at 556 LUX and 576 LUX respectively. The lowest lighting level was recorded at Denrio’s desk with 301 LUX, compared to the lower TLVs of 150 LUX and 500 LUX. Room temperature measurements across all sampled locations showed a maximum of 27.3°C and a minimum of 21.2°C. Recommendations from this study include the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for impact mitigation, employee training or education, and facility improvements to reduce the negative effects on occupational health and safety. Abstract

Problems that often occur in the work environment include worker attitudes, work environment conditions such as slippery floors and work areas at high places, and the potential for damage to machine components. The potential for work accidents at PT. NSBL was carried out using the HAZOP method. This method identifies various sources of danger. The risk evaluation revealed that high and medium risks dominate, while the K3 program is not optimal. Based on research that has been conducted, there are 5 categories of hazard sources including worker negligence in working, the presence of high voltage electric currents, storage and use of toxic chemicals, and flammable and corrosive materials. Recommendations include increasing K3 training, implementing strict procedures for the use of PPE, improving the work environment, and regular maintenance of equipment. Abstract

PT. BSS is a company engaged in the processing of spices using a make-to-order production system. The main problem faced by the company is the unstructured flow of material movement between the Non-Hygiene, Low Hygiene, High Hygiene, and Disposal zones, which results in inefficiencies in both time and space utilization. Through the ARC approach, supported by the From-To Chart, Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD), Activity Template Block Diagram (ATBD), and Area Allocation Diagram (AAD), an analysis of the inter-activity relationships and a redesign of the production layout were carried out. The results of the study show that the new layout successfully reduced the material handling distance from 600 meters to 430 meters, representing a decrease of 28.3%. In addition, the storage capacity in the Non-Hygiene zone increased from 40 to 63 pallets (an increase of 57.5%) without requiring any building expansion. The new layout also accelerated the average material transfer time by 10–15 minutes per shift and reduced the potential for cross-contamination by up to 70% through stricter separation of zones in accordance with hygiene standards. Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Kenanga Persada mengolah lahan terbatas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan gizi dan kesehatan keluarga, dengan sebagian hasil panen kadang dijual. Mereka menghadapi tantangan fluktuasi harga bahan baku dan kesulitan akses pasar. Anggota KWT ingin meningkatkan pendapatan dengan membuat produk olahan, namun terkendala oleh minimnya pengetahuan, keterampilan, modal, dan cara memasarkannya. Kegiatan pemberdayaan kemitraan masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas KWT Kenanga Persada, yang berfokus pada pelatihan pengolahan produk pertanian menjadi produk bernilai ekonomi tinggi, mengajarkan keterampilan manajerial dasar, dan khususnya cara menghitung Harga Pokok Penjualan (HPP) melalui metode Participatory Capacity Development atau peningkatan kapasitas komunitas yang partisipatif. Diharapkan KWT tidak hanya mampu meningkatkan pendapatan, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada ketahanan pangan dan ekonomi kreatif di komunitas mereka. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anggota KWT, dan mereka menunjukkan partisipasi dan respons positif pada seluruh kegiatan. Hasil pelatihan pembuatan cabai kering dimana peserta berhasil membuat kembali produk cabai kering tanpa arahan, menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan yang signifikan. Pada pelatihan pembuatan nugget pakcoy didapat hasil penilaian, 53,8% responden sangat menyukai dan 46,2% menyukai produk nugget pakcoy yang dibuat, kemudian pada pelatihan perhitungan HPP, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman peserta sebesar 37%, secara keseluruhan, setelah diberikan pelatihan.
