Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze know the causes of Robert Kearns the causes of Robert Kearns obsession to obsess in gaining recognition. This research uses qualitative methods. The object used in this study is a film namely Flash of Genius film. The data collected is obtained from the results of watching the film and sorting out the scenes and dialogues or utterances in the film. The results showed that Robert Kearns experienced some psychological problems which include having mind set all the time, self-doubt, Self-worth, Project delays and abandonment, steering clear of challenges and maintaining a facade at all times

Abstract

The writer thinks to make the above topic as a matter that must be researched further because the writer sees something that can be used as material for analysis and can be an additional scientific value for knowledge and new learning in this literary science. The problem discussed in this research is what kind of ecocriticism is presented in the film "Documentary: Seaspiracy (2021)" by Ali Tabrizi? In this study the writer wants to provide ecocriticism of marine ecosystems with the title "ecocritical analysis of marine ecosystems" this research discusses literary ecocriticism, namely the relationship between nature and humans which focuses on the film "documentary: Seaspiracy". The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, which describes the results of the research verbally. The writer also uses an ecological approach to focus and present the findings. The results of this study show that there are many criticisms that this movie wants to convey, and the images presented have many specific criticisms to show ecological damage, especially in the marine area. In this film, the author also uses Greg Garrard's theory of ecocriticism to clarify and dig deeper into the attitude of environmental criticism by the players in the form of images and conversations conveyed in through the "Documentary: Seaspiracy (2021)" movie.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the personality structure of Jasmine's behavior in Below Her Mouth movie. With this research, it is hoped that the adolescent generation, in particular, can be wiser and more selective in choosing associations and can limit things that can affect their lives in the future, especially from the environment and friendships. This research uses qualitative methods. The object used in this study is a film with a lesbian theme, namely the film Below Her Mouth. The data collected is obtained from the results of watching the film and sorting out the scenes and dialogues in the film. The results showed that Jasmine's behavior in the film Below Her Mouth is influenced by the personality structure dominated by the id structure, Jasmine's cause of eventually becoming a lesbian is influenced by internal and external factors where masculinity and seduction are part of external factors then sexual attraction and youth experiences are part of internal factors

Abstract

This study aims to know the social rejections and its triggers experienced by Mumble in the movie Happy Feet. The writer uses a qualitative method to conduct the data and theory. The result shows Mumble is ostracized and ridiculed by his peers because he cannot sing like the other penguins. The rejection from the community, which values conformity, leads to feelings of isolation and sadness for Mumble. Despite the sadness Mumble experiences, the film ultimately carries a positive message of self-acceptance, resilience, and the celebration of individuality. Mumble's journey is one of overcoming adversity and embracing his unique talents, turning what initially caused sadness into a source of strength and inspiration.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to understand deeper about how psychology affects directly to parenting styles especially in a mother figure, thus eventually affect children's behaviors in their social stand towards themselves and people around them, as well as the kind of manners and actions they take when they are faced with problems. The researcher used qualitative method to collect data based on the research problem. Journals, websites, previous researches and other articles were used as data sources to analyze this film. In conclusion, Diane teaches us that loving means trusting and supporting each other with care, giving without expecting something in return, and that loving to family is always on greatest importance. She states how she always believes in Chloe’s capabilities regardless how fragile Chloe seems to be with her countless diseases. She proves how care she does and how supportive she is to her daughter. But in the end of the day, all those sacrifices and considerably amount of love and care she gives to Chloe, her impulsive lies ruin everything she built for 17 years and gone in an instant. Ultimately, giving the loved ones freedom for their life choice and keeping honesty lives in between are the best thing someone could do to support them. The purpose of this study is to focus on the parenting styles of single mothers towards her daughter with disabilities. The researcher applies the theory from Diana Baumrind (1971) about parenting styles.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze Elle's personality in the film “GRANDMA” as reflected in the film, focusing on the writer's detailed explanation using a psychological approach. The researcher collects data using a descriptive qualitative method based on the research problems. The researcher uses a psychological approach to analyze this film.To analyze this film the writer uses qualitative method. The data gathered is based on the results of seeing the film and categorizing the scenes and dialogue. The results showed that Elle's behavior in the film Grandma is influenced by the personality structure by the id structure. It is influenced by internal and external factors

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1.)To find out what is narcissistic personality disorder in the movie no good deed. (2.) To find out how Terry struggle against to save her life from Psychopathic Prisoners that has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. (3.) to analyse the causes and effect of the crimes committed by Colin who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. This research was conducted using a qualitative method because the writer focuses on psychological understanding of the characters and social phenomena that occur in the film. This aims to gain a deep understanding, and develop the theories contained in the film. To achieve this objective, the writer uses two approaches, namely Psychological Approach and Sociological Approach..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelas sosial dalam masyarakat dan bentuk ketidakadilan dalam film Robin Hood (2018). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi dengan kapitalisme yang dikemukakan oleh Karl Marx sebagai salah satu teori dari Kapitalisme. Analisisnya hanya menggunakan dua teori kapitalisme, yaitu proletariat, borjuasi, dan perjuangan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, ada dua hasil yang ditampilkan dalam film Robin Hood (2018). Hasil pertama menguraikan dua kelas sosial yang terbagi, yaitu kelas borjuis dan proletar. Hasil kedua mengenai bentuk ketidakadilan berupa konflik antar kelas yang tercermin pada film Robinhood (2018). Akibat akhirnya ada dua kelas yang bertikai karena ketidakadilan kelas proletar terhadap kelas borjuasi karena sistem kapitalisme dalam sistem kehidupan sosialnya. Bagian terakhir adalah kesimpulan, yang menjelaskan dan merangkum seluruh bagian penelitian dan hasil penelitian ini.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit yang degeneratif sering terjadi dan memiliki tingkat kematian yang tinggi serta dapat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hidup dan produktifitas. Hipertensi termasuk penyakit katastropik yang membutuhkan perawatan medis dengan jangka waktu lama dan biaya tinggi sehingga perlu dilakukan upaya pengendalian. Adanya hal tersebut maka dibutuhkan self care behaviour yang tepat. Kejadian hipertensi dapat diatasi melalui dukungan keluarga karena keluarga memberikan kontribusi yang sangat tinggi bagi seorang penderita hipertensi dalam upaya melakukan pengendalian tekanan darah. Tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama sakit dan dukungan keluarga terhadap self care behaviour pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Kauman Kabupaten Ngawi. Penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi berjumlah semua penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas Kauman Kabupaten Ngawi. Sampel berjumlah 30 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Dengan analisa menggunakan uji Spearman Rank dan uji Pearson. Hasil tujuan ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara lama sakit dengan self care behaviour dimana (ρ=value 0,011) dan adanya hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan self care behaviour dimana (ρ=value 0,000). Hipertensi merupakan kondisi kronis yang membutuhkan self care behaviour yang berkelanjutan untuk menjaganya agar tetap terkontrol. Lama sakit, penyakit ini dan dukungan keluarga dapat memainkan peran penting dalam memengaruhi self care behaviour.

Abstract

Tingginya tingkat asam urat dalam sirkulasi darah menjadi permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat yang terus berkembang. Setiap tahun, peningkatan kadar asam urat dalam darah terjadi, tergambar dari populasi Desa Tawangreho di Kabupaten Madiun yang mencapai 223 jiwa pada tahun 2018, 241 jiwa pada tahun 2019, dan 264 jiwa pada tahun 2020. Selain pendekatan pengobatan melalui penggunaan obat-obatan, ada opsi pengobatan alternatif tanpa obat dengan memanfaatkan tanaman tertentu yang dianggap mampu menurunkan tingkat asam urat, seperti coklat merah dan nanas. Kandungan vitamin C dan antioksidan dalam sirsak dan nanas diketahui mampu menghambat produksi Enzim xanthine oksidase memiliki peran dalam terbentuknya Kristal yang terbentuk oleh asam urat dapat menjadi masalah kesehatan. Di samping itu, vitamin C juga dapat meningkatkan proses pengeluaran asam urat melalui urine, yang pada gilirannya dapat mengurangi tingkat asam urat dalam aliran darah. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada pengukuran perubahan tersebut. kadar asam urat dalam masyarakat Desa Tawangrejo, Kabupaten Madiun, melalui pemberian jus sirsak dan jus nanas, sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh Maryati et al. (2013). Desain eksperimen yang digunakan melibatkan pretest dengan dua kelompok dan kelompok postkontrol. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui Pemilihan sampel yang dilakukan secara sengaja, melibatkan 36 individu dari total 264 individu dalam populasi. Sampel terdiri dari 18 individu dalam kelompok intervensi dan 18 individu dalam kelompok kontrol. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan alat tes asam urat Autocheck GCU. Analisis data dilaksanakan dengan menerapkan uji Wilcoxon. dan uji t independen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam tingkat Kadar asam urat pada kelompok yang mengonsumsi jus sirsak menunjukkan signifikansi statistik (p=0,000), dengan rata-rata penurunan sekitar 1,60 mg/dL. Sementara itu, perbedaan tingkat asam urat pada kelompok yang mengonsumsi jus nanas juga signifikan (p=0,000), dengan rata-rata penurunan asam urat sekitar 1,16 mg/dl. Dari nilai rata-rata perbedaan kadar asam urat ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Efek penurunan tingkat asam urat lebih efektif dicapai dengan mengonsumsi jus sirsak dibandingkan dengan jus nanas Dari hasil penelitian ini, pengetahuan tambahan mengenai langkah-langkah untuk mengurangi tingkat asam urat menjadi sangat penting. Diinginkan agar lebih banyak orang memilih untuk mengadopsi jus sirsak dan jus nanas sebagai alternatif untuk mengurangi Tingkat asam urat.
