Abstract

Abstract Heat exchanger is a device used to transfer thermal energy between two or more fluids at different temperatures. This study aims to develop an efficient shell and tube heat exchanger design that is accompanied by an increase in the overall heat transfer coefficient on the shell and tube sides simultaneously. This study focuses on the impact of using helical baffles and twisted tape inserts technology on the total heat transfer coefficient (U) and pressure drop (ΔP). This study analyzes the effect of employing helical baffles on the shell side and twisted tape inserts on the tube side, with optimization using the Genetic Algorithm (GA) method. The independent variables considered include the helical baffles angle (β), the spacing between baffles (Lbc), the thickness of the twisted tape (δ), and the half-pitch of the twisted tape (H). The optimization objective function for both the shell side and tube side is to maximize the overall heat transfer coefficient, while the restriction is that the pressure drop must not surpass the starting design data value. In this study, the E-1-06 heat exchanger was successfully modeled. The modeling data showed only slight differences between the modeling results and the initial data sheet. The deviation value of the overrall heat transfer coefficient (U) = 0.06%, ∆Ps = 0.00%, and ∆Pt = 0.06%. Optimization of the E-1-06 heat exchanger was also successful. Optimization in this study was able to increase the U value by 3.97%, while the ∆Ps value decreased by -2.01% and ∆Pt by -19.11%. The findings indicate that the modified design is capable of enhancing thermal performance without compromising hydraulic efficiency, thereby demonstrating its potential for application in energy processing systems and industrial cooling.AbstrakHeat exchanger adalah perangkat yang digunakan untuk menyalurkan energi termal antara dua atau lebih fluida pada suhu yang berbeda-beda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain heat exchanger shell dan tube yang efesien yang disertai dengan peningkatan koefisien perpindahan kalor secara keseluruhan pada sisi shell dan tube secara bersamaan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dampak penggunaan teknologi helical baffles dan twisted tape insert pada koefisien perpindahan kalor total (U) dan penurunan tekanan/ Pressure drop (ΔP). Pada awalnya heat exchanger ini menggunakan teknologi segmental baffle pada sisi shell dan plain tube pada sisi tube, kemudian desainnya dimodifikasi dengan teknologi yang berbeda, desain pada sisi shell digunakan teknologi helical baffle sedangkan pada sisi tube digunakan teknologi twisted tape. Metode optimisasi yang digunakan adalah Genetic Algoritm (GA). Variabel bebas yang digunakan untuk melakukan optimisasi pada sisi shell adalah sudut helical baffle (ß) dan jarak antar baffle (Lbc) yang ada dalam heat exchanger. Sedangkan variabel bebas yang digunakan pada sisi tube adalah thickness of twisted tape (?), dan half pitch of twisted tape (H). Fungsi tujuan (objective function) optimisasi pada sisi shell dan sisi tube yaitu koefisien perpindahan panas secara keseluruhan (overrall heat transfer coefficient) yang maksimal dan constraint pada optimisasi ini yaitu penurunan tekanan (pressure drop) yang besar nilainya tidak boleh melampaui nilai dari data awal design. Pada penelitian ini heat exchanger E-1-06 berhasil dimodelkan. Data permodelan menunjukkan hanya sedikit perbedaan antara hasil permodelan dengan data sheet awal. Nilai deviasi overrall heat transfer coefficient (U) = 0.06%, ∆Ps=0.00%, dan ∆Pt= 0.06%. Optimisasi Heat exchanger E-1-06 juga berhasil dilakukan. Optimisasi pada penelitian ini mampu menaikan nilai U sebesar 3.97%, sementara nilai ∆Ps mengalami penurunan sebesar -2.01% dan ∆Pt sebesar -19.11%.

Abstract

Bay 'urbun, otherwise known as buying and selling with an advance payment system. In the Al-Qur'an and Hadith, there is not much explanation regarding the terms of buying and selling with an 'urbun' or down payment system. The Syafi'i school prohibits buying and selling with advance payments, while the Hanbali school allows this system. The purpose of discussing this research is to find out the opinions of the two schools of thought regarding buying and selling of the 'urbun or down payment system and also the istinbath method used in. In this study using the research method library research, which comes from books, scriptures or pure essays. The aim is to provide information that can be researched about individuals, conditions, or other symptoms. The results of the discussion conclude that first, Imam Syafi'i's opinion absolutely does not allow buying and selling using the 'urbun system', besides that it also includes buying and selling that is fasid (damaged) and consumes rights in vain. Second, according to Imam Hanbali, the sale and purchase of the urbun system is permissible because both parties have agreed. Imam Shafi'i uses the hadith of Amr Ibn Syu'aib as the method of istinbath, while the Hambali School da'if it, they prefer hadiths originating from the narrations of Nafi' Ibn Harith and Umar Ibn Khattab as the legal basis.

Abstract

The Tahfiz Qur’an Morning Program aims to improve students' ability to memorize the Qur'an with proper fasahah and tajweed, root the values of the Qur'an, and present the Qur'an in every aspect of life. This type of research is a CIPP model program evaluation with a qualitative case study approach. The results of this study: (1) In terms of context evaluation, the Tahfiz Qur'an Morning program at MTs Tahfidzul Quran Azhar Center Makassar has enabled students to increase their memorization beyond the 3 juz required by the school. (2) From the perspective of input evaluation, the coaches in the Tahfiz Qur'an Morning program have met the criteria as coaches of the Tahfiz Qur'an Morning program. The facilities and infrastructure that support the program are good enough. (3) Process evaluation shows that the implementation of the morning Quran memorization program at MTs Tahfidzul Quran Azhar Center Makassar uses the talqin method. This method involves repetition of reading the verses to be memorized by children until they master them. However, some obstacles were encountered, especially the lack of ability of students to memorize the verses of the Qur'an, which has an impact on this process. (4) Judging from the product evaluation, the implementation of the morning Quran memorization program has a positive impact on students, teachers, and the community as a whole.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the practices and challenges of online learning or so called Learning From Home (LFH) in English Department during the even semester 2019/2020 academic year. The subject of this study are 8 lecturers of English Department at STKIP Al Hikmah. This study employed descriptive qualitative research design. The instrument used is daily online teaching monitoring and evaluation questionnaire. The result of this study is categorized into five aspects namely 1) online learning applications frequently used by the lecturers are WhatsApp, Google Classroom, Schoology, Quizizz, E-mail, Zoom Cloud Meeting, Email, and Youtube 2) online learning activities frequently conducted by the lecturers are uploading materials, discussion forum, conducting quizzes, uploading assigment,, and video conferences, 3) scheduled assignment submission rate, 4) students’ participation rate and 5) challenges and alternative solution proposed by the lecturers during the online learning.

Abstract

Almost every aspect of human life on earth has been disrupted since the emergence of Covid-19, particularly education. Many countries have decided to close schools and universities. This condition has forced the Indonesian government through its Ministry of Education to implement policies that move conventional classrooms to online classrooms. This process is carried out to maintain the health of students. The learning process has been aided by the use one of applications available on the internet called Student Response System (SRS). This study investigates secondary school students’ perceptions towards the implementation of Quizizz as an assessment platform in teaching English. Mixed-method research has been implemented in this study. The study involved 61 students as the participants in the quantitative stage and six students in the qualitative stage. The main instruments employed in this research are an online questionnaire and in-depth interview. The findings indicated that the students have both positive and negative perceptions toward the use of online assessment, especially Quizizz. The students enjoyed Quizizz and thought it was exciting, interesting, motivating, and enjoyable because it was distinct from other platforms. Quizizz had an interactive display, which made it simple for students to use. However, in addition to the positive perception of Quizizz as an assessment platform in English teaching, some students expressed a negative perception of Quizizz as an assessment tool. According to the data, one of the platform’s negative perceptions was the presence of music.Hampir setiap aspek kehidupan manusia di muka bumi ini terganggu sejak munculnya Covid-19, khususnya pendidikan. Banyak negara telah memutuskan untuk menutup sekolah dan universitas. Kondisi ini memaksa pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kementerian Pendidikan untuk menerapkan kebijakan pemindahan ruang kelas konvensional menjadi ruang kelas daring. Proses ini dilakukan untuk menjaga kesehatan siswa agar terhindar dari Covid-19. Proses pembelajaran dapat dibantu dengan menggunakan salah satu aplikasi di internet yang bernama Student Response System (SRS). Menurut pernyataan tersebut, peneliti menyelidiki persepsi siswa sekolah menengah terhadap penerapan Quizizz sebagai platform penilaian dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris. Penelitian metode campuran telah diterapkan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini melibatkan 61 siswa sebagai partisipan pada tahap kuantitatif dan 6 siswa pada tahap kualitatif. Instrumen utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner online dan wawancara mendalam. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki persepsi positif dan negatif terhadap penggunaan penilaian online, terutama di Quizizz. Para siswa menikmati Quizizz dan menganggapnya menyenangkan, menarik, memotivasi, dan menyenangkan karena platform Quizizz berbeda dari yang lain. Quizizz memiliki tampilan interaktif, yang memudahkan siswa dalam menggunakan platform. Namun, selain persepsi positif tentang Quizizz sebagai platform penilaian dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris, beberapa siswa menyatakan persepsi negatif tentang Quizizz sebagai penilaian. Menurut data, salah satu persepsi negatif platform adalah kehadiran musik.

Abstract

ABSTRAKStroke adalah penyebab utama kematian dan kecacatan di Indonesia. Pada pasienstroke untuk mengurangi kebutuhan oksigen otak pasien pasien dilakukan tirah baring.Tirah baring yang lama dapat menyebabkan konstipasi, mobilisasi tiap 2 jam mengurangikejadian konstipasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh mobilisasi setiap duajam terhadap kejadian konstipasi pasien stroke.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimental pre-post test. Populasiadalah pasien stroke infark di ruangan Gardena RSUD Ibnu Sina Gresik. Sampel yangdigunakan 20 responden yang diperoleh dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Variabelindependen adalah mobilisasi miring kanan dan miring kiri setiap dua jam dan variabeldependen adalah konstipasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi. Analisis datadengan menggunakan Mann Whitney dengan nilai signifikansi α<0,05.Hasil penelitian dengan uji Mann Whitney Test mendapat p= 0,028 yang berartiada perbedaan dari kelompok kedua. Dengan demikian ada pengaruh yang signifikanmobilisasi setiap dua jam untuk kejadian konstipasi pasien stroke.Pasien stroke infark diharapkan mobilisasi awal untuk mencegah timbulnyakonstipasi dan rumah sakit harus membuat standard prosedur operasional mobilisasi miringkanan dan miring kiri setiap dua jam untuk perawatan pasien lanjut pasien stroke infarkdengan tirah baring lama.Kata kunci: Mobilisasi setiap dua jam, Konstipasi, Pasien StrokeABSTRACTStroke was a main cause of mortality and disability in Indonesia. In stroke patientsto reduce the oxygen cerebrum demand required bed rest therapy. Bed-resting therapy cancaused constipation, so for mobilization therapy has not the writen solution to preventconstipation gived nursing action mobilization right nd left oblique every two hours but theeffect is not know. The purpose of this research to know effect of mobilization every twohours to incidence of constipation stroke patients.This research used quasy experiment pre-post test design. Population was patientsof stroke infarct in Gardena Wards RSUD Ibnu Sina Gresik. The sample used 20 obtainedrespondens to inclusion criteria and exclusion. Variable independent was mobilization ofright and left oblique every two hours and variable dependent was constipation. Datacollecting use observation. Technique analysis the data by using Mann Whitney with α0,05 .The result of research with test of Mann Whitney Test got p=0.028 which meansthere was difference from group both. Thereby there was significant effect of mobilizationevery two hours to incidence of constipation stroke patients.Patient of stroke infarct are expected to mobilization an early as posible to preventincidence of constipation and for hospital should make a standart operation prosedurmobilization therapy right and left oblique every two hours for patien stroke infarct withbed rest.Keywords: Mobilization every two hours, Constipation, Stroke Patients

Abstract

Islamic law represents a whole of things. In the early times, Islamic law is a product of divine revelation, prophetic tradition, and custom. In this respect, Islamic law is not only as God's provision which deny human interest, but also human need to regulate society which undergo the on going process. Therefore, costums and traditions were the organic elements, which shape unity of law. Local knowledge and universal values fundamentally enriched Islamic law. This argument is debatable on account of how what some extent customs and traditions can influence or shape the Islamic law. Indonesia is not an exeption. Talking about Islamic law's position in the context of the Indonesian Legal Pluralism was not easy because it has something to do with the structure of Indonesian socio-cultural and socio political reality. This, in turn, needs the special policy through thought and political action.

Abstract

The phenomenon of the dichotomy of science is increasingly troubling. Imam Suprayogo, behind the concept of Tarbiyah Ulu al-Albab, is a solution to the dichotomy of science by collaborating on science. This paper aims to: 1) describe the concept of education paradigma of the Qur'an, 2) describe the academic culture of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Islamic State University of Malang, and 3) The relevance concept of Imam Suprayogo's Islamic studies to the reality of Islamic studies in Indonesia. This paper is a literature research using content analysis techniques. The results of this study show that: 1) Tarbiyah Ulu al-Albab is an educational concept paradigma of the Qur'an with a dzikr, fikr, and amal shaleh approach, 2) The academic culture of the Maulana Malik Ibrahim Islamic State University of Malang campus displays; a) credible, compatible, and professional educators; b) a multifunctional mosque, not just as a symbol; c) ma'had like a boarding school; d) boarding school serves to form spirituality and morals; d) availability of libraries; e) laboratory; f) studying room;  g) offices as a means of administrative services; h) arts and sports development centers; and i) as well as a broad and strong budget, 3) Imam Suprayogo's Islamic Studies Thought is very relevant to the reality of Islamic studies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of demonstration methods assisted by Canva in learning Jurisprudence on the material of Corpse Management in class IX A MTs As'adiyah Uloe. This research is included in class action research. The data collection techniques used were observation, learning outcomes tests, interviews, and documentation. The instruments are observation sheets, learning outcomes tests, and interview sheets. The data collected will be analyzed descriptively qualitative and quantitative. Learning outcomes were analyzed using the KKM which is 78. The subjects of this study were class IX A students totaling 30 people. The research lasted for two months starting from February to March 2025. The results showed that the action in cycle I showed that as many as 23 students were declared complete with a percentage of 77%. The action in cycle II showed that as many as 30 people obtained learning outcomes above KKM 78 with a percentage of 100%. So, the use of the demonstration method assisted by Canva in learning Jurisprudence in class IX A MTs As'adiyah Uloe is able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in Indonesia faces significant challenges in addressing issues of religious moderation and tolerance within a diverse society. PAI is required not only to emphasize normative aspects but also to foster inclusive, tolerant attitudes and social skills among students to live harmoniously in the global era. The aim of this study is to analyze strategies for developing a PAI curriculum that is responsive to religious moderation, focusing on the integration of moderate Islamic values ​​with multicultural education needs, and to propose an applicable and contextual curriculum model. This study employed a qualitative approach with library research methods, collecting data from relevant literature such as books, journal articles, and educational policies. The findings reveal that a PAI curriculum responsive to religious moderation can serve as a transformative instrument in shaping a generation of Muslims who are inclusive, tolerant, and contributive to social harmony. In conclusion, the PAI curriculum should be designed in a multidisciplinary manner and supported by educational policies and teacher capacity building to ensure effective and sustainable implementation.
