Abstract

This Community Service is the result of observations on the Adaptive Physical Education learning process for students at Taruna Bunga Bangsa Makassar Special Needs School. The purpose of this observation is to implement Game-Based Adaptive Physical Education Learning for Taruna Bunga Bangsa Makassar Special Needs School Students. The observation results show that teachers adapt learning communication by using sign language, visual demonstrations, and individual approaches that pay attention to students' motor skills and psychological conditions. Learning is focused on developing basic motor skills, coordination, and active participation of students in physical activities through a game-based approach. The main obstacles faced include limited facilities and communication barriers, but can be overcome through teaching innovation and collaboration between teachers and students. In conclusion, the adaptive physical education learning process at Taruna Bunga Bangsa Makassar Special Needs School takes place effectively with the support of teaching methods that suit students' needs.

Abstract

The existence of urban forests should be referred to as a place to preserve the environment, seeing from the start of the density of settlements that cause less and less space as a place to preserve the environment. The Bungin Island City Forest area in Koto Teluk Kuantan Village is one of the potential tourist destination objects to be offered when tourists visit Jalur City. The aim of this research was to examine the structure and composition of the stands in the Bungin Island City Forest, located in Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research method used systematic sampling method by collecting data directly at the research location. Variables observed were the number of individuals, diameter and height of trees. Vegetation data collection was carried out using the creation of a square plot unit measuring 20 m x 20 m with the determination of the plot location using systematic sampling with random start, namely taking sample plots systematically and randomly started. The data that has been obtained is analyzed descriptively quantitative which is done to obtain a clear picture of the state of the urban forest. The results of the study obtained 23 plant species in the urban forest of Bungin Island with the highest importance value index (INP) is duku plant with a value of 47,10 at the tree level, which means that this plant is the dominant species in the urban forest of Bungin Island. The conclusion of this study shows that the urban forest of Bungin Island is composed of 23 species grouped in 20 families and the composition of the stand is composed of 228 plants with the highest canopy statification in stratum C (subcanopy) followed by stratum B (canopy), stratum D (understory) and stratum A (emergent).

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kepedulian dan meningkatkan minat baca anak-anak usia dini melalui penyuluhan yang dilaksanakan di Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPA) di Kota Makassar. Rendahnya minat baca anak menjadi perhatian penting dalam pembangunan karakter dan kualitas generasi penerus, terlebih di era digital yang semakin menggiring anak ke konsumsi hiburan visual. Penyuluhan ini mengintegrasikan pendekatan edukatif dan religius dengan menggunakan metode bercerita, membaca bersama, serta diskusi interaktif. Tim pelaksana, yang terdiri dari dosen dan mahasiswa, merancang sesi edukatif yang menyenangkan dan sesuai usia anak, dengan melibatkan tokoh cerita Islami dan bacaan anak berbasis nilai-nilai moral. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan antusiasme anak terhadap kegiatan membaca serta pemahaman mereka akan pentingnya membaca dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, guru-guru TPA menyatakan komitmen untuk terus mengembangkan literasi di lingkungan pengajaran mereka. Kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal untuk menginternalisasi budaya membaca pada anak sejak dini serta membangun sinergi antara pendidikan agama dan literasi dasar.Kata kunci: minat baca, penyuluhan, literasi anak, TPA, Kota Makassar

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the outdoor study method based on discovery learning on the science learning outcomes of class IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Hombes Armed students. This research is a quantitative research type of experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was 30 class IV A students consisting of 14 men and 16 women. The sampling technique in this research is saturated sampling. The research instruments used were observation sheets, learning outcomes tests, and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis with the help of the SPSS computer program. The results of this research show that the teacher's ability to apply the discovery learning-based outdoor study method to the science learning outcomes of class IV students received an average score of 3.2, which means it was implemented well. The learning outcomes of class IV A students are described from the results of the prerequisite tests which consist of normality test results of the pretest 0.007 ≥ 0.05 and posttest 0.031 ≥ 0.05 with normal distribution, homogeneity test results 0.013 ≥ 0.05 which means homogeneous and the results of the hypothesis test 0.001 with the criteria Sig (0.001) ≤ α (0.05). So the results of this research show that there is an influence of the outdoor study method based on discovery learning on the science learning outcomes of class IV students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Hombes Armed

Abstract

ABSTRACT The difficulty in comprehending mathematical research articles written in English remains a common issue among university students, particularly pre-service teachers, due to limited exposure to academic texts. This condition often restricts their ability to connect theoretical understanding with current research practices in mathematics. This classroom action research aimed to enhance students’ comprehension of mathematical research articles through active and reflective class presentations. The study involved 20 third-semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program at STKIP Kusuma Negara and was carried out in two cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The first cycle emphasized understanding the structure and content of articles through presentations, while the second focused on deeper analysis supported by guided reading, terminology clarification, and lecturer feedback. Data were collected through pre- and post-tests, classroom observations, and individual presentations assessments. The findings indicated a significant improvement in students’ ability to understand research structures, methods, and mathematical arguments, with comprehension increasing by 20.0% after Cycle I and 18.1% after Cycle II. It can be concluded that integrating class presentation within a classroom action research framework effectively enhances students’ academic literacy, analytical skills, and confidence in critically understanding and communicating mathematical research articles. ABSTRAK Kesulitan dalam memahami artikel penelitian matematika berbahasa Inggris masih menjadi kendala umum di kalangan mahasiswa, terutama calon guru, karena terbatasnya paparan terhadap teks akademik. Kondisi ini menghambat kemampuan mereka dalam menghubungkan teori dengan praktik penelitian terkini di bidang matematika. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap artikel penelitian matematika melalui kegiatan presentasi kelas yang bersifat aktif dan reflektif. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 20 mahasiswa semester ketiga Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika di STKIP Kusuma Negara melalui dua siklus yang mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Siklus pertama berfokus pada pemahaman struktur dan isi artikel melalui presentasi, sedangkan siklus kedua menekankan analisis yang lebih mendalam melalui pembacaan terarah, klarifikasi istilah, serta umpan balik dosen. Data dikumpulkan melalui pra-tes dan pasca-tes, pengamatan kelas, serta penilaian presentasi individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan mahasiswa memahami struktur, metode penelitian, dan argumen matematika dengan peningkatan sebesar 20,0% pada Siklus I dan 18,1% pada Siklus II. Simpulan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kegiatan presentasi dalam pembelajaran berbasis penelitian tindakan kelas efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi akademik, keterampilan analitis, serta kepercayaan diri mahasiswa dalam memahami dan mengomunikasikan isi artikel penelitian matematika secara kritis dan terarah.

Abstract

Masa generatif kedelai rentan terhadap kekurangan air dan dapat berdampak pada hasil tanaman. Penyerapan nitrogen juga ditentukan oleh penyerapan air di perakaran. Nitrogen dibutuhkan oleh tanaman untuk membentuk protein. Percobaan lapangan dilakasanakan (Juli – November) menggunakan kedelai (Glycine max L. (Merr.)) galur UB1 di rumah kaca Jatikerto, Malang, untuk mempelajari pembentukan polong dan pertumbuhan tanaman dengan peningkatan penyediaan air dan nitrogen pada kedelai. Pertumbuhan masa generatif diukur pada 35, 45, 55 dan 65 hari setelah tanam (HST). Jumlah polong dan bobot biji diamati pada saat panen (81 HST). Tinggi tanaman, luas daun, bobot kering daun, bobot segar total tanaman, bobot kering total tanaman, bobot segar akar dan bobot kering akar menurun pada 45 HST ketika pemberian air dua hari sekali atau kurang. jumlah polong dan bobot biji per tanaman merespon penurunan produksi bahan kering pada tahap generatif ketika pemberian air dua hari sekali atau kurang. Dosis pupuk urea menunjukkan pengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pertumbuhan masa generatif, jumlah polong dan bobot biji. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengurangan dari frekuensi pemberian air dan pemupukan urea tidak berhubungan ketika nitrogen tercukupi, tetapi kekurangan air pada masa generatif dapat menurunkan hasil.
