Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang struktural yang terdapat dalam puisi “Pertanyaan-Pertanyaan” karya M. Aan Mansyur yang diterbitkan pertama kali oleh PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama pada Desember 2020, dan kesesuaiannya sebagai sumber sastra pendidikan sekolah menengah pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi, teknik hermeneutik, dan teknik wawancara. Peneliti membaca dan menganalisis sumber data berulang kali. Selanjutnya peneliti mewawancarai guru bahasa Indonesia SMP Cendramata Medan dan membagikan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan pendekatan informal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat struktur fisik dan struktur batin dalam puisi “Pertanyaan-Pertanyaan”. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan guru sebagai sumber pendidikan di sekolah menengah pertama.

Abstract

Transformasi digital telah mengubah paradigma dalam dunia pendidikan, memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap metode pembelajaran dan pengajaran. Analisis Wacana Kritis adalah pendekatan analitis yang bertujuan mengungkap ideologi, dinamika kekuasaan, orientasi politik, dan pengaruh gender. Artikel ini membahas aspek-aspek kunci dari transformasi ini, seperti aksesibilitas informasi yang lebih baik, pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, literasi digital, dan berbagai bentuk pembelajaran online, jarak jauh, personalisasi, serta pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Penilaian digital juga menjadi elemen penting dalam mengukur kemajuan siswa. Transformasi ini tidak hanya membawa peluang, tetapi juga tantangan yang memerlukan kerja sama, inovasi, dan pengalaman belajar yang menarik. Pentingnya memahami implikasi transformasi digital dalam dunia pendidikan ditekankan untuk menghadapi perubahan teknologi yang cepat. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan melibatkan penelitian perpustakaan, diambil dari buku-buku dan jurnal-jurnal untuk memastikan validasi kebenaran dan meningkatkan kredibilitas temuan. Dengan kemajuan teknologi banyak membawa perubahan, adanya informasi yang sampai begitu cepat, pembelajaran yang mudah dilakukan hingga memudahkan dalam interaksi.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis tahapan pemerolehan bahasa pertama pada anak usia dini berdasarkan perspektif psikolinguistik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan teknik observasi dalam pengumpulan data. Penelitian dilakukan di PAUD dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk pemilihan sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tahapan pemerolehan bahasa pada anak usia dini dimulai dari tahap pra-linguistik, tahap satu kata, tahap dua kata, dan tahap banyak kata. Setiap tahapan tersebut berlangsung melalui interaksi dengan ibu dan orang sekitar dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Anak usia dini mampu mengucapkan bunyi vokal yang tidak bermakna pada usia 0-7 bulan (tahap pra-linguistik), menggunakan satu kata pada usia 12-18 bulan (tahap satu kata), dua kata pada usia 18-24 bulan (tahap dua kata), dan tiga atau lebih kata pada usia 3-5 tahun (tahap banyak kata). Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pengembangan Bahan Ajar sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran karna dapat mendorong siswa untuk menerima dan memahami materi melalui penerapan bahan ajar tematik yang didasarkan pada pembelajaran discovery learning. Ketika guru memberikan menjelaskan tentang pembelajaran tematik, mereka tidak hanya membahas ide-ide yang dihafal atau ditulis, tetapi juga bagaimana mereka berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dan lingkungan mereka. Namun, kenyataannya masih ada ketidaksesuaian yang menyebabkan siswa kurang memperhatikan pelajaran yang diberikan oleh guru. Ini terlihat dalam berbagai cara seperti tidak mengajukan pertanyaan, tidak memberikan saran, dan menolak untuk menyuarakan pendapat mereka. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan peran bahan ajar yang dimainkan oleh guru dan siswa ketika mengembangkan bahan ajar tematik berbasis discovery learning.KATA KUNCI: Bahan Ajar; Tematik ; Discovery LearningDEVELOPMENT OF THEMATIC TEACHING MATERIALS BASED ON THE DISCOVERY LEARNING MODEL IN GRADE IV OF SD NEGERI 101781 PEMATANG LALANGABSTRACT: The development of teaching materials is very important in the learning process because it can encourage students to receive and understand the material through the application of thematic teaching materials based on discovery learning. However, the reality is that there are still discrepancies that cause students to pay less attention to the lessons given by teachers. This is seen in various ways such as not asking questions, not giving advice, and refusing to voice their opinions. Abstract

This study aims to develop a multidimensional curriculum evaluation model (ECM) for the Independent Curriculum in Elementary Schools (SD). Independent Curriculum is a curriculum that allows teachers to design quality learning based on students’ needs and environment. It focuses on enhancing students’ character and competencies through the Pancasila student profile project. A comprehensive, systematic, and continuous evaluation model is required to ensure Independent Curriculum’s quality and relevance. The research method is R&D using the ADDIE model with five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects are teachers, principals, supervisors, and curriculum experts. Data are collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Data are analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results show that ECM has six evaluation dimensions: context, input, process, product, impact, and meta-evaluation, which suit the Independent Curriculum’s characteristics in SD. ECM can evaluate various curriculum aspects: objectives, content, strategies, media, learning resources, assessment, learning outcomes, and curriculum impact. ECM also has a computer application program that simplifies the evaluation process and reporting. ECM receives positive feedback from the subjects and is valid, reliable, practical, and effective. The study concludes that ECM can improve Independent Curriculum quality in SD.

Abstract

The low literacy and computational skills of class X students were detected from frequent language errors in communication. This often becomes a problem in literacy in the language aspect, especially for class X junior high school students, due to the many determinations between students' language needs and language skills. This is why community service is carried out to improve students' language and computational literacy skills in language. Language considerations can be used as an important element in smooth communication. The skills that are the focus are always related to the ability to listen, speak, read, write, count, and solve problems at the specific level needed according to the topic being discussed. This community service was carried out at SMP Negeri 24 Medan City for approximately one month. The approach taken was through socialization and training of language and computational literacy for students. The goal is to provide an understanding of the importance of language literacy skills in everyday life. The results of this community service show that these language skills, termed literacy skills, can improve students' understanding so that they can be developed in various fields of study. However, in a simpler context, literacy must be developed in a smaller scope, but have a significant impact.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low ability of students in writing argumentation in its elements. This can be seen from the assignment given that there is still a lack of connection between the substance and reality, making the content of the argumentation conveyed ambiguous to the reader. The goal is to develop a theoretical model of socio-scientific-based language learning. The issues or problems used are adjusted to the concept or theory of language in use, such as the issue of hate speech in forensic linguistics, the issue of cultural immersion in anthropolinguistics, and so on. This type of research is development research, which develops research products and is tested on a test class. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Medan City, which contained a research sample of 35 students. The products tested were SCC-based language learning model books, teachers' books, and students' books. The research instruments used consisted of a/questionnaire, an interview guide, and an observation guide. Data analysis was done qualitatively and quantitatively according to the type of data obtained. The results of this study indicate that the research products tested in both limited and large classes achieved an expert validation percentage of 89.42% and a practicality value of 81.95%. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the model is evident from the increase in student learning activities.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the influence of applications Speechnotes on the ability to write short stories of Class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Calendar for the 2024-2025 Academic Year. Apart from that, to explain students' perceptions in implementing the application Speechnotes towards learning to write short stories for Class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Penaggalan for the 2024-2025 academic year. This research uses a Quasi Experimental method involving one group (one group), namely the experimental class. The population in this study were class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Penanggalan from classes IX-1, IX-2, and IX-3. The total population is 90 students. Data analysis techniques for short story writing test results use statistical analysis. a) Descriptive analysis aims to determine a picture of students' abilities by testing frequency values ​​and average values. b) Inferential analysis or test. This test was carried out to determine the values ​​of normality, homogeneity and hypothesis testing. Qualitative techniques are used to analyze non-test data. This qualitative data was obtained from observation and interview data. The research results show that students' ability to write short stories after using the application Speechnotes or post test increased significantly. This can be seen from the student's lowest score being 73 and the highest 95. The average score of students after using this application or on  post test is 85.13. This score exceeds the KKM score limit of 75. Apart from that, only 1 student has a score below the KKM and 1 student has the KKM limit score.  After answering the hypothesis test with a calculated t value > t table, Ha is accepted with the hypothesis "There is a significant influence on the use of the application Speechnotes  on the ability to write short stories of Class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Penanggalan”.

Abstract

This study aims to dig up information on how students understand Islamic religion courses by using a basic semiotic approach to improve security in reading skills in Islamic religious course content. We conducted a series of debriefings with students from Sam Ratulangi University in the city. We obtained the data and analyzed it under a phenomenological approach which involved, among other things, interpretation of data grouping data and concluding to gain an understanding of validly answering study questions. Based on the results of interviews and analysis as well as gold, we can conclude that the understanding of Islamic religious course texts among student participants in general Islamic religious courses is categorized as good where students use a basic symbiotic approach to understand Islamic religious texts even though they have little understanding of Islam—considering that the majority of students at Sam Ratulangi University are not many who adhere to Islam. These findings will provide a new understanding and support studying students' academic skills using a basic semiotic approach.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aims to explore the effect of Problem-Based Learning Model (PBL) on the learning outcomes of students in grade XI of SMAN 4 Medan in writing an explanatory text in Indonesian language subject. By focusing on the effectiveness of PBL in improving students' writing skills, this study provides theoretical contributions to the development of learning theories as well as practical benefits for teachers and schools in improving the quality of learning.Method – The study used a quasi-experimental design with an experimental group and a control group. The approach was Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model. The research was conducted at SMAN 4 Medan involving students of grade XI. Data were collected through an explanatory text writing test conducted before (pretest) and after (posttest) the application of PBL. The analysis was conducted by comparing the posttest results between the experimental group using PBL and the control group using conventional learning methods. The results were analyzed to assess the effectiveness of PBL in improving students' writing ability.Findings – The results showed that the Problem-Based Learning Model (PBL) significantly improved students' learning outcomes in writing explanatory texts. Proven by the average value of posttest in the experimental group which is higher than the control group, which proves the effectiveness of PBL in the context of Indonesian language learning in class XI SMAN 4 Medan. Research Implications – The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model enhances students' writing skills in explanatory texts at the senior high school level. This study, limited to one school, does not reflect broader educational variations in Indonesia. It focused solely on PBL's impact on writing skills without a thorough exploration of other influencing factors. Future research should expand the sample size and include diverse contextual elements to more robustly verify these results.
