Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Campalagian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VII sebanyak 27 orang (16 perempuan 11 laki-laki). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari (1) Lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, (2) Lembar observasi aktivitas siswa (3) Tes kemampuan penalaran matematis. Lembar observasi di analisis secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Adapun hasil kualitatif lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran penelitian ini siklus I diperoleh 85,41% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 95,13%. Hasil analisis kualitatif pada lembar aktivitas siswa siklus I diperoleh 75,18% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 85,64%. Sedangkan hasil analisis kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa pada siklus I ketuntasan klasikal hanya mencapai 74,07% dan pada siklus II ketuntasan klasikal siswa meningkat menjadi 88,88%. Dari hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan pendekatan saintifik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Campalagian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan studi pra-eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengendalian pembeajaran berdiferensiasi terhadap prestasi matematika siswa. Populasi penelitian ada seluruh siswa kelas Vll SMP Negeri 1 Wonomulyo, dengan sampel dari kelas VII A yang terdiri dari 32 siswa. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes kemampuan belajar siswa, memasukkan aktivitas siswa, evaluasi keterlaksanaan pembeajaran, dan angket respon siswa. Data yang terkumpuI dianaIisis menggunakan metode statistik deskriptif dan inferensiAI. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pretest ada 53,02 dan posttest ada 81,95. Aktivitas siswa mencatat persentase rata-rata 85,5%, sementara keterlaksanaan pembeajaran mendapat nilai 3,83 dari skala maksimum 4. Tanggapan positif siswa mencapai 75% dari angket respons. Uji t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Dari analisis deskriptif dan inferensi ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembeajaran berdiferensiasi efektif dan meningkatkan keterampilan belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Wonomulyo.

Abstract

This article presents a literature review on various learning models applied to improve mathematics learning outcomes in integral calculus. The 4 studies that form the basis of the literature study have discussions in understanding integral concepts, critical thinking skills, motivation and learning outcomes and the dimensions of character education. These four studies provide a comprehensive picture of the various approaches that can be used to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes in integral calculus. The first study highlights the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing students' understanding of integral concepts. The PBL model has been shown to encourage active student engagement and sharpen critical thinking skills. The second study compares two learning models, Discovery Learning and Accelerated Learning, focusing on students' learning motivation and mathematics learning outcomes in integral calculus. The results indicate that Discovery Learning is more effective in improving students' motivation and their deeper understanding of integral concepts. The third study implements Lesson study with a PBL approach that incorporates character education in the class. This approach not only improves mathematical understanding but also develops students' character, such as collaboration and curiosity. Meanwhile, the fourth study develops a learning device for integral calculus based on a problem-solving model to enhance students' creative thinking abilities. These four studies demonstrate that problem-based learning models, whether PBL, Discovery Learning, or problem-solving-based instructional devices, are effective in improving students' understanding and critical thinking skills in integral calculus.

Abstract

This experimental study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the topic of matrices in relation to the mathematics learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students at SMK Ma'arif Husnul Khatimah. The total number of participants was 88 students, with the sample consisting of 15 students from the Multimedia class and 15 students from the Fashion Design class. The research instruments included tests on student learning outcomes, student activity sheets, the implementation of learning, and student response questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. From the statistical analysis, the average pretest score in the experimental class was 52.00, while in the control class it was 52.66. The average posttest score in the experimental class was 83.85, while in the control class it was 70.66. In terms of student activity, the average percentage was 88.05%. For the student response, the average percentage was 98.99%. The results of the t-test calculation for the posttest data showed a t-value of 3.265, while the t-table value was 2.656, meaning that t_calculated > t_table, or 3.265 > 2.656. From the results of the descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, it is concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the topic of matrices has a significant effect on the mathematics learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students at SMK Ma'arif Husnul Khatimah.

Abstract

Digital literacy is an essential ability that students must have to face the challenges of the digital era. However, many students still use technology passively without developing creative and productive skills. The "Visual Learning with Canva: Increasing Students' Digital Literacy with Interactive Design Media at SMA 23 Makassar" program aims to increase students' digital literacy through a design-based learning approach. Students will learn to create visual content such as posters, infographics, and presentations that are relevant to learning. This training integrates digital literacy, creativity, and critical thinking skills as provisions for students to improve their learning abilities. The expected results of this training are an increase in students' ability to understand and use technology productively, as well as the creation of quality visual content that can support the learning process and increase participants' digital literacy.

The body text of abstract is written with Century (8 pt) and justify format, with left indent 10 mm and right indent 10 mm This research aims to analyze the perceptions of school principals regarding the assistance of school supervisors in realizing Child Friendly Schools (SRA) in Selayar Islands Regency. Assistance from school supervisors is considered important to ensure the implementation of policies and practices that support the creation of a safe, comfortable and inclusive learning environment for children. This research used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, involving 24 school principals as respondents. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, questionnaires and observations, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The research results show that overall, principals' perceptions of school supervisor assistance are at a very positive level (average score 4.27). The dimensions of support and attention (4.47) and communication and collaboration (4.38) were the most appreciated aspects. However, the dimensions of the impact of mentoring (4.14) and increasing understanding and competence (4.15) show quite significant variations in perception, indicating the need for more structured and specific mentoring. Based on these findings, this research recommends increasing the intensity of mentoring, facilitating discussion forums between school principals, and providing more measurable and solution-based feedback. It is hoped that the research results can become a reference for education stakeholders in optimizing the implementation of Child Friendly Schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model in improving students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the subject of Plant Agribusiness at SMKN 4 Bulukumba. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. Data analysis techniques are carried out by processing the results of observations, cycle tests, and interviews. The results of the study showed that the application of the PBL model significantly improved students' high-level thinking skills, with the percentage of classical completeness increasing from 20.69% in cycle I to 89.65% in cycle II. Thus, the PBL model is recommended as an effective learning strategy to improve students' HOTS.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study that aims to determine the effect of GeoEnzo learning media on students' mathematical problem solving abilities on the subject of quadrilaterals and triangles. The population in this study were all students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Polewali totaling 223 people and the samples were students of class VII C totaling 31 people and VII D totaling 31 people. The research instrument used a problem-solving ability test, student activity sheets, and the implementation of student learning. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. From the results of statistical analysis, the average value of the pretest in the experimental class was 56.19 and the control class was 63.29. While the posttest average value in the experimental class is 87.93 and the control class is 64.32. Judging from the activities of students obtained an average percentage of 83.56%. The results of the calculation of the t test for posttest data obtained a value of 11.774. As for the value of 1.670 which means that is 11.774> 1.670. From the results of descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics, it was concluded that the GeoEnzo learning media had an effect on the mathematical problem solving abilities of seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Polewali.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas butir soal Ulangan Akhir Semester Genap mata pelajaran Matematika kelas VIII di SMPN 22 Sinjai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian statistik deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari hasil ujian sumatif akhir semester genap sebanyak 25 butir soal pilihan ganda yang dikerjakan oleh 22 siswa kelas VIIIA sebagai sampel, serta lembar validasi dari dua orang validator yang terdiri dari satu orang ahli dan satu orang praktisi pendidikan. Instrumen penelitian divalidasi menggunakan analisis Aiken's V untuk menilai validitas isi, dan reliabilitas soal dihitung menggunakan persamaan Kuder-Richardson 20 (KR-20). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa dari uji validitas Aiken's V, diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,73 yang berada pada kategori validitas tinggi. Sementara itu, koefisien reliabilitas soal berdasarkan KR-20 adalah sebesar 0,955, yang termasuk dalam kategori reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Dengan demikian, butir soal Ulangan Akhir Semester Genap Matematika kelas VIII SMPN 22 Sinjai dapat dinyatakan valid dan reliabel sehingga layak digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi hasil belajar. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi guru dalam menyusun soal yang berkualitas untuk mengukur pencapaian belajar siswa secara optimal.

Abstract

The Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model has been widely applied in various disciplines, including physics learning at the high school level. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the STAD model in improving physics learning outcomes through literature studies from various relevant studies. The results of the analysis show that the STAD model is able to increase student involvement in learning, strengthen conceptual understanding, and improve learning outcomes significantly compared to conventional methods. The advantage of STAD lies in the structure of group cooperation that encourages active interaction between students, thus creating a more dynamic and enjoyable learning environment. In addition, this model also contributes to improving students' social skills. However, the implementation of STAD requires careful planning and support from teachers so that learning can run effectively. Thus, the STAD model is recommended as one of the effective approaches in physics learning in high school. Informasi Artikel Abstra
