Abstract

Abstract Background: The problem of malnutrition is one of the nutritional problems being faced by countries in the world, including Indonesia. The problem of malnutrition can be caused by a lack of nutritional intake and infectious diseases. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine differences in students' knowledge and attitudes before and after counseling on balanced nutrition with animation video media in fourth graders students at SDN Sukun 2 Malang City. Design: This type of research is a experimental study using a pre-experimental research design with One Group Pretest Posttest type. This research was conducted in May 2023 at SDN Sukun 2 Malang City. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a total sample of 40 students. Results: The mean value of student knowledge before and after balanced nutrition training using animated video media each is 30 and 55.75. The mean value of students' attitudes before and after balanced nutritional training is 58.93 and 67.56. The result of the Paired Sample T-Test showed that there are significant differences in knowledge (p-value=0,000) and attitudes (p-value=0,000) of the students before and after counseling on balanced nutrition with animation video media. Conclusions: There are significant differences in knowledge and attitudes of the students before and after counseling on balanced nutrition with animation video media. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Untuk mendukung program pemerintah dalam hal penyediaan, peningkatan, dan perluasan sasaran edukasi gizi maka dilakukan penelitian menggunakan video. Penggunaan video dalam penyuluhan gizi pada ibu hamil dipilih karena visualisasinya menggunakan dua indra yang akan memudahkan proses penyerapan pengetahuan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh pemberian penyuluhan gizi dengan media video terhadap pengetahuan gizi dan sikap pada ibu hamil. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-experimental. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Sukorejo Kota Blitar dengan sampel 23 orang dan dilaksanakan selama bulan Januari-Februari 2023. Teknik pengambilan sampel melalui metode purposive sampling dengan instrument pengambilan data berupa lembar checklist. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test untuk data berdistribusi normal dan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon jika data berdistribusi tidak normal dengan p-value ? 0,05. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan sebanyak 4 (17,4%) responden dengan pengetahuan kurang, 17 (73,9%) responden dengan pengetahuan cukup, dan 2 (8,7%) responden dengan pengetahuan baik sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan gizi. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan gizi sebanyak 3 (13,1%) responden dengan pengetahuan kurang, 5 (21,7%) responden dengan pengetahuan cukup, dan 15 (65,2%) responden dengan pengetahuan baik. Sikap responden sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan gizi menggunakan media video terdapat 12 (52,2%) responden memiliki sikap negatif dan 11 (47,8%) responden memiliki sikap postif. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan gizi sebanyak 12 (52,2%) responden memiliki sikap negatif dan 11 (47,8%) responden memiliki sikap positif. Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perubahan pengetahuan gizi dan sikap pada ibu hamil setelah diberikan penyuluhan gizi melalui media video. Abstract

Background: Overnutrition or obesity is a condition where body weight increases due to the accumulation of body fat. One of the causes of nutritional status is a change in excessive eating patterns and lack of physical activity. Food consumption levels refer to the amount of food and drink consumed by individuals, families or communities in a certain time period. Apart from the level of food consumption, the factor that influences nutritional status is physical activity. The definition of physical activity is any body movement that is caused by the work of skeletal muscles and increases energy and energy expenditur. Objective: to determine the relationship between the level of food consumption and physical activity with the incidence of adolescent nutritional status at SMP Negeri 1 Campurdarat. Methods: This research includes quantitative research, a type of analytic survey research with a case control research design, Result: The results of the chi square analysis of the relationship between the level of food consumption and the nutritional status of the respondents had a significance value of 0.009 or <0.05 and the relationship between the level of food consumption and the nutritional status of the respondents had a significance value of 0.003 or <0.05 so that it can be said that there is a relationship. Conclusion: Shows that there is a relationship between excessive eating patterns with more nutritional status in adolescents and less physical activity with the incidence of overweight adolescents.

Abstract

Stunting adalah masalah gizi kronis yang menghambat pertumbuhan anak. Salah satu solusinya adalah pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT) berbasis pangan lokal bergizi tinggi. Penelitian ini mengembangkan fish finger dari ikan nila dengan penambahan daun kelor sebagai alternatif PMT untuk anak di bawah dua tahun (BADUTA) yang mengalami stunting. Penelitian ini adalah percobaan faktor tunggal (penambahan Puree Daun Kelor (PDK): 0, 10, 20, 30%) dalam rancangan acak lengkap dengan ulangan sebanyak tiga kali. Parameter yang diamati adalah mutu gizi (energi, protein, lemak, karbohidrat, dan seng) dan karakteristik organoleptik (warna, aroma, rasa, dan tekstur). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa formula penambahan 10% PDK menghasilkan fish finger dengan penerimaan respons organoleptik terbaik dengan karakteristik mengandung 17,4 g protein, 6,8 g lemak, 21,4 g karbohidrat, 0,9 mg seng, dan mempunyai 219,5 kkal energi per 150 g produk. Fish finger berbasis ikan nila dengan penambahan 10% PDK berpotensi menjadi alternatif PMT bergizi tinggi dengan tingkat penerimaan baik untuk pencegahan stunting pada BADUTA.

Abstract

Prevalensi anemia pada ibu hamil di Indonesia sebesar 37,1% dan angka tersebut naik menjadi 48,9% pada tahun 2018 (Kemenkes, 2022). Anemia pada ibu hamil dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya pola makan, status gizi, dan status konsumsi TTD (Tablet Tambah Darah). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pola makan, status Konsumsi TTD (Tablet Tambah Darah), status gizi pada ibu hamil anemia dan ibu hamil tidak anemia. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian survei analitik (non-eksperimen) dengan desain case control yang dilakukan pada bulan April 2024 di Ds Krembung, Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur dengan sampel berjumal 20 orang ibu hamil. Data yang dikumpulan yaitu data pola makan ibu hamil, data status gizi ibu hamil, dan data frekuensi konsumsi TTD. Ibu hamil yang mengalami anemia memiliki pola makan dengan keberagaman yang kurang (40%) dibandingkan dengan ibu hamil yang tidak mengalami anemia (35%), ibu hamil yang mengalami anemia memiliki status gizi yang berisiko KEK (35%) dibandingkan dengan ibu hamil yang tidak mengalami anemia (30%), ibu hamil yang mengalami anemia memiliki kepatuhan konsumsi TTD tidak patuh (40%) dibandingkan dengan ibu hamil yang tidak mengalami anemia (30%). Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pola makan ibu hamil anemia dengan ibu hamil tidak anemia (p=0,000), terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara status gizi ibu hamil anemia dan ibu hamil tidak anemia (p=0,028), serta terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara status konsumsi TTD pada ibu hamil anemia dan ibu hamil tidak anemia (p=0,007). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian perlu adanya pengarahan oleh petugas kesehatan kepada ibu hamil mengenai frekuensi dan jenis makanan yang tepat untuk dikonsumsi, perlu adanya kewajiban kepada ibu hamil untuk mengonsumsi tablet tambah darah secara rutin selama 90 hari.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Bayi dengan berat badan lahir rendah akan terus menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang signifikan secara global dan dikaitkan dengan berbagai dampak jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Dampak yang ditimbulkan antara lain gangguan pertumbuhan dan pekembangan, daya tahan tubuh yang rendah serta penyakit kronis yang timbul pada masa akan datang. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya kejadian berat badan lahir rendah. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain case control di wilayah Kota Batu. Subyek penelitian adalah ibu bayi yang mempunyai bayi BBLR untuk kelompok kasus dan ibu yang mempunyai bayi dengan lahir normal kelompok kontrol. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur. Analisis bivariat diterapkan untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan BBLR. Rasio peluang yang disesuaikan dengan interval kepercayaan 95% pada nilai P < 0,05 dianggap signifikan secara statistik. Hasil: Penelitian ini mendapatkan total subyek 130 ibu bayi dengan rincian 32 (24,6%) kelompok kasus dan 98 (74,4%) kelompok kontrol. Hasil uji statistik resiko KEK dengan kejadian BBLR diperoleh nilai p = 0,075 (p<0,05), nilai OR 2,348 (CI 0,903 – 6,107) dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara ibu hamil yang beresiko KEK dengan kejadian BBLR.Ada hubungan yang bermakna antara riwayat sakit saat kehamilan dengan kejadian bayi dengan BBLR (p=0,004), nilai OR 3,507 (CI 1,446 – 8,503). Kesimpulan: Resiko KEK tidak berhubungan dengan kejadian BBLR sedangkan riwayat sakit saat kehamilan menjadi faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian BBLR di Kota Batu.

Abstract

Background: Prevention of anemia can be done by consuming foods that are sources of iron. One source of animal food that contains heme iron and has a higher biovalidity value than other sources of iron is chicken liver.  One vegetable that has a high iron content is Moringa (Moringa oleifera). White oyster mushrooms are low in fat but high in protein.Objectives: The study aims to analyze the nutritional quality and organoleptic quality of dimsum formulations of chicken liver, moringa leaves and oyster mushrooms as snacks for anemic teenage girls.Methods: This research uses an experimental research type with a completely randomized design (CRD). The research was conducted at the Food Technology Science Laboratory (ITP) of the Malang Health Polytechnic Nutrition Department on June 2024. Organoleptic quality testing was carried out using a hedonic test using 25 semi-trained panelists. Determination of the best treatment level using the effectiveness index method. Statistical tests used the Kruskal Wallis test and the Mann Whitney advanced test.Results: Shows that the dimsum formulation of chicken liver, oyster mushrooms and Moringa leaves meets the nutritional requirements of adolescent girls aged 13-15 years with a snack percentage of 10% (empirically). There were significant differences in the organoleptic quality parameters of taste (p=0,030) and texture (p=0,036), while color (p=0,076) and texture (p=0,319) showed no significant differences. At the best treatment level, namely P1, it can meet the energy and nutritional needs of adolescent girls.Conclusion: The formulation of chicken liver, oyster mushroom and moringa leaf dimsum shows significant differences in organoleptics taste and texture.

Abstract

Background: Background: The prevalence of overweight and obesity among adolescents aged 16-18 years in East Java is 10.2% and 4.7% (SKI, 2023). Data from SSGI in 2022 shows that the prevalence of overweight in adolescents aged 15-18 years in East Java is 23%. This study was conducted on students as an effort to increase knowledge, change attitudes, and energy consumption, one of which is with nutritional interventions in the form of nutrition education. Objective: This study aims to determine the differences in knowledge, attitudes and energy consumption before and after online media-based nutrition education (VitaNutriHealth) in overweight students at SMAN 1 Bululawang Malang. Methods: This study used pre-experimental research with a quantitative approach with the design of One Group Pretest and Posttest Design conducted at SMAN 1 Bululawang Malang with purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 50 students. The intervention used was counseling using VitaNutriHealth media. Data collection instruments in the study used questionnaires and 24-hour recall forms. Data analysis used univariate, and bivariate using Paired Sample T-Test if the data is normally distributed and Wilcoxon Signed Test if the data is not normally distributed. Results and Conclusion: There is a significant difference between before and after nutrition counseling on knowledge, attitude and energy consumption of overweight students at SMAN 1 Bululawang Malang (p=0.000).

Abstract

Malnutrition remains an important health issue in Indonesia, especially among undernourished children. The current nutrition intervention program, Family Nutrition Awareness, emphasizes the importance of breakfast in combating malnutrition. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in maternal knowledge, energy, and protein consumption of students before and after counseling on breakfast using e-booklet media. This study used a pre-experimental type with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Maternal knowledge was assessed through a questionnaire, and energy and protein consumption was measured using a food recall form. The statistical analysis used was the paired T-test for normally distributed data and the Wilcoxon test for non-normally distributed data. The results showed significant differences in maternal knowledge and children's energy and protein intake before and after the e-booklet-based educational intervention (p=0.002 and p=0.000). This shows the effectiveness of e-booklets as a nutrition education media, which has the potential to positively influence maternal knowledge and improve children's breakfast habits. In conclusion, there is a difference in nutritional knowledge, energy, and protein consumption before and after counseling on breakfast using e-booklets. This study emphasizes the importance of innovative and accessible educational tools in combating malnutrition in Indonesia.

Abstract

The prevalence of overweight and obesity among children has become a global epidemic. The causes of obesity are multifactorial. Changes in lifestyle that lead to westernization and sedentary result in changes in eating patterns in children. The objective of this study was to determine the differences in maternal nutritional knowledge before and after counseling on balanced nutrition using e-booklets and their correlation to the consumption level of elementary school children who experience excess nutrition. The research design used was a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. A sample of 31 mothers and children who are experiencing excess nutrition from SDN 1 and 2 Sambirejo, Trenggalek regency was selected by purposive sampling. Data analysis employed the Paired Sample T-Test and Chi-Square test. There was an increase in the average score of mothers' knowledge from 69.03 to 77.41 with a p-value = 0.003 with  = 0.05. However, there was no correlation between a mother's knowledge and intake of energy, carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Nutrition counseling using e-booklet media can increase mothers' knowledge but it is not related to the intake of elementary school children who have more nutrition
