However, there is a lack of research on how to solve prostitution impact in society life. This study aims to analysis the Penta helix model as a strategic approach to tackling prostitution and to identify the key of social institutions that play a significant role in resolving the issue. The research used a quantitative methodology with a percentage technique and involves 60 citizens as the sample localized citizen around former Mbaben or Madusari localization. The instrument in this study is a specially designed closed-ended questionnaire to evaluate sample views toward the Penta helix model in solving prostitution strategy by binary Likert scale. The findings show that the Government Sector received the highest level of agreement, the Business Sector ranked second, the Community Sector followed the third, the Mass Media Sector had the fourth, and the last is the Academia Sector. These results indicate that each sector can contribute effectively to a multi-sectoral approach in addressing prostitution, ensuring a more comprehensive and sustainable solution to this complex social issue.

Abstract

The lack of studies on Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) education in supporting national development goals obscures NU's vision of realising a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, characterised, independent and morally good. This research aims to reconstruct the role of NU education in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the national education system. This research uses a historical qualitative design consisting of four stages, namely Heoristics, Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography. The main results of this research describe that first, NU prioritises education as evidenced in the 4th NU congress in Semarang in 1929, a special institution was formed to handle NU Education under the name Hoof Bestur Nahdlatul Oelama (HBNO) in the Pergoeroean/Onderwijs section (now the Ma'arif NU Education Institute). Secondly, since the HBNO Onderwijs section was formed NU began to form several educational institutions from primary, secondary and higher education levels there are 54,274 out of a total of 399,378 educational institutions in Indonesia. Third, the transformation of NU education runs gradually, with adjustments to the times, without ignoring the principles of religious teachings and local culture.

Abstract

Ecological intelligence is crucial in enhancing human awareness of environmental issues. However, there is a lack of research on how environmental care attitudes are developed through the learning process in the classroom. This study aims to explore how students perceive environmental care attitudes based on ecological intelligence. The research used a quantitative methodology with a percentage technique and involved 120 students from Madrasah as the sample. Research data were obtained through a closed-ended questionnaire, and the data were analyzed through percentages. The findings show that students possess a high level of environmental care, as evidenced by the highest agreement level in the head (cognition) or learning to know with 89.3%, followed by the heart (affection) or learning to be with 86.5%, and then the hands (conation) or learning to do with 85.6%. The result indicates that students who participate in environmental care activities in school have good ecological intelligence. These results suggest that integrating ecological intelligence into classroom learning can effectively foster environmental care attitudes. Therefore, educators and curriculum developers should consider incorporating more environmental education components into daily instruction. Future research may explore the long-term impact of ecological intelligence-based learning on students’ environmental behavior outside school.

This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques are through questionnaires, FGDs, and workshops. The data were analyzed using statistical techniques with the SPSS program, qualitative analysis, and pattern analysis to formulate conclusions and formulate recommendations. The results of this study show; (1) it is necessary to increase the understanding of the Permenpan RB which regulates the functional positions; (2) most of them require training in the preparation of research proposals, writing scientific papers for translation and adaptation of books, in order to fulfill the components of professional development credit properly; (3) most have not had the opportunity to participate in research from the institution. There is great hope for them, the institution has a policy in research management; (4) some of them have assignments that are not in accordance with their functional positions, so this makes it difficult for them to fulfill professional development credit scores.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has become a global health disaster since March 2020 and has had a significant impact on education. The education system forced to change from a face-to-face learning model to a virtual one to reduce the spread of COVID-19. These extraordinary conditions that lasted no less than one year give various responses from both teachers and learners perspectives. This study examines secondary school teachers and learners perspectives regarding education in the future post, Covid-19 pandemic. This paper used the descriptive method by qualitative approach. Furthermore, this study was conducted by distributing online questionnaires from 5 provinces in Indonesia, involving 40 teachers and 28 learners. The results of this study indicate that (1) e-learning has not fully accommodated some educational values that can be transmitted through classical learning process only, (2) direct interaction are the most lost value during e-learning, (3) the sustainability of e-learning depends on the readiness of resources and infrastructure, and (4) blended learning is the suitable learning model for future education. From the result of these studies, identifying the suitable blended learning model for future education sustainability in every level of education is essential to be further studies as the stakeholder's reference in implementation learning models.

Abstract

This study focuses on the sustainable economy-based management of tofu industry waste in Teja Timur Village, Pamekasan, with an emphasis on applying circular economy principles through community empowerment. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The research instruments consisted of semi-structured interview guidelines and observation sheets. Data were analyzed thematically through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. To strengthen validity, the study involved seven informants selected based on specific criteria, including tofu industry owners, workers, and community members engaged in waste management. The findings indicate that local communities actively transform solid waste into economically valuable products such as tempe gembus and animal feed, contributing to increased income and strengthened local economic resilience. These practices reflect the implementation of the reduce, reuse, and recycle (3R) principles within a circular economy framework. The study recommends enhancing support for appropriate technologies, entrepreneurship training, and institutional regulation to optimize and sustain this waste management system.
