Abstract

History learning in vocational high schools (SMK) is often faced with challenges in increasing students' interest and understanding of culture and history. The application of Cultural Heritage-based Augmented Reality (AR) technology as an innovative solution in improving students' literacy culture in history learning at SMK Muhammadiyah I Pekanbaru. This study aims to evaluate the impact of using Cultural Heritage-based AR on historical understanding, cultural appreciation, and student interest at SMK Muhammadiyah I Pekanbaru. Experimental research method was used with one experimental group engaged in learning using Cultural Heritage-based AR and one control group following conventional learning. Data were collected through knowledge test, questionnaire, and observation. The results showed that the use of Cultural Heritage-based AR significantly improved students' historical understanding, cultural appreciation, and interest in SMK Muhammadiyah I Pekanbaru. Students who use AR technology find the learning experience more engaging and interacting, which results in a deeper understanding of culture and history. This research makes a significant contribution in the context of history education at SMK Muhammadiyah I Pekanbaru, that Cultural Heritage-based AR can be an effective tool to improve students' literacy culture. In addition, the application of this technology can also help preserve and promote local cultural and historical heritage

Abstract

This research aims to clarify how agritourism functions within environmental management in Tenganan, Karangasem. Customary environmental zoning primarily serves as a private realm for local cultural practices. Nonetheless, it has been shown that agritourism is incorporated into the zoning of the Tenganan traditional environment. The enquiries are 1) What are the attributes of Tenganan's traditional environmental management practices in Karangasem?; 2) What are the features of agritourism activities in the stewardship of Tenganan's customary environment in Karangasem ?; and 3) Is there cultural tolerance linked to agritourism activities within Tenganan's customary environmet in Karangasem? This study has been conducted utilising qualitative methodologies. Primary data was obtained by observation. Secondary data was acquired through a literature review. All data was analysed qualitatively-interpretatively with semiotics and a decolonization tourism approach. All data were subjected to qualitative analysis utilising a decolonizing tourism approach. The research findings indicate: 1) The Tenganan traditional environment in Karangasem is governed by cultural heritage, natural resources, and the residential areas of the Tenganan community; 2) Walking activities along designated routes amidst the natural ambience of plantations, agriculture, and forests exemplify agritourism within the Tenganan traditional environment; 3) Cultural tolerance exists within the Tenganan traditional environment regarding agritourism activities.

Abstract

This research explores the critical need for integrating local wisdom and contemporary tourism as a comprehensive strategy for sustainable tourism development in Batu City, East Java. With rapid modernization threatening cultural authenticity, this study addresses the urgent challenge of balancing economic growth with cultural preservation and environmental sustainability. This *[A1] *research *[A2] explores the integration of local wisdom and contemporary tourism as a strategy for sustainable tourism development in Batu City, East Java. Batu City, known for its natural beauty and rapid tourism growth, faces challenges related to sustainability, cultural erosion, and social impacts. By emphasizing local traditions, community engagement, and the preservation of cultural heritage, this research highlights the importance of local wisdom in enhancing tourist experiences while ensuring environmental sustainability. The methodology involves qualitative analysis through interviews with stakeholders, observations, and literature reviews. The findings suggest that effective collaboration among government, businesses, and local communities is essential for creating a sustainable tourism ecosystem. The research proposes practical recommendations for policy and community involvement to strengthen local tourism based on cultural values.

Abstract

Manajemen hotel perlu menciptakan loyalitas tamu di tengah ketatnya persaingan bisnis hotel saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui bagaimana kualitas pelayanan dapat mempengaruhi loyalitas tamu melalui kepuasan tamu. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Favehotel Gatot Subroto, Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah tamu yang menginap di hotel minimal dua kali, yang menggunakan teknik non-probability purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 179 responden. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil kuesioner dianalisis dengan Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang kuat dan positif antara variabel kualitas pelayanan dengan kepuasan tamu (kualitas pelayanan dapat menjelaskan kepuasan tamu sebesar 62%). Hasil lain dari penelitian ini juga terdapat pengaruh yang kuat dan positif antara variabel kualitas pelayanan terhadap loyalitas tamu melalui kepuasan tamu, dimana kualitas pelayanan dapat menjelaskan loyalitas tamu melalui kepuasan tamu sebesar 77,6%. Hasil penelitian manajemen manfaat dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan tamu untuk meningkatkan loyalitas pelanggan

Abstract

Go-Food by GOJEK Apps is a popular food delivery platform in Indonesia. The main objective of this study is to understand the factors influencing consumer purchase decisions through the Go-Food by GOJEK Apps, such as delivery reliability, menu variety, food quality, price, and service quality. Methods of research are using a quantitative approach by collecting data through a survey using a questionnaire that has been developed. The research sample was taken randomly from the consumer population using the Go-Food by GOJEK Apps. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the study show that delivery reliability, menu variety, food quality, price and service quality have a significant effect on consumer purchase decisions through the Go-Food by GOJEK Apps. Results of the research show that consumers tend to choose apps that offer fast delivery, a wide menu selection, high-quality food, competitive prices, and responsive service. These findings provide a better understanding of the factors influencing consumer purchase decisions through the Go-Food by GOJEK Apps. This research implies the importance of Go-Food service providers paying attention to these factors in improving user experience and consumer satisfaction. By understanding consumer preferences and needs, service providers can improve service quality, optimize delivery, provide interesting menu variations, and set prices accordingly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the people's perception of the myth of "kepunan" in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. This research method uses descriptive qualitative with triangulation techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The sampling technique uses Purposive sampling. The object of research in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, where the myth is still developing and believed in, is the myth of "kepunan.” This myth is viewed from three aspects: cultural views, religion, and the younger generation. These three aspects became the basis for obtaining the results of this study. First, the myth of " kepunan " is part of the culture and customs of local peoples passed down from generation to generation from ancestors. Most local people believe in the myth of "kepunan" and think that there is something terrible that comes if they ignore the myth. Other minority groups believe the myth of "kepunan" is an ancestral heritage that needs to be maintained as local wisdom in Bangka Belitung. Second, the group of scholars believes that the myth of " kepunan " is only a mere superstition, unacceptable with logic, and cannot be accounted for its truth, so the myth cannot be connected with religious rules. Third, the younger generation's view of this "kepunan" myth has begun to diminish because environmental factors influence it. Where the younger generation of the local people of Bangka Belitung worked a lot in the city, so slowly, the myth of "kepunan" began to fade.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keberhasilan pengelolaan Kampung Konservasi Rimbun sebagai destinasi wisata edukasi yang berkelanjutan. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kampung Konservasi Rimbun memiliki komponen wisata yang lengkap, mencakup atraksi edukasi, aksesibilitas yang memadai, fasilitas pendukung, dan layanan tambahan. Program daur ulang limbah organik dan penghijauan memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pelestarian lingkungan, sementara kolaborasi dengan komunitas lokal memperkaya pengalaman pengunjung. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan infrastruktur jalan yang belum optimal, strategi pelatihan dan pengembangan fasilitas telah diterapkan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan berbasis komunitas dapat menjadi model bagi destinasi wisata edukasi lainnya yang ingin mengintegrasikan aspek keberlanjutan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kunjungan wisatawan dan dampaknya terhadap ekonomi lokal di Taman Satwa Ragunan, Jakarta. Taman Satwa Ragunan merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang populer di Indonesia, menarik pengunjung dari berbagai kalangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei kepada pengunjung dan wawancara dengan pengelola taman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah kunjungan wisatawan ke Taman Satwa Ragunan mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, yang berkontribusi pada pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal. Pendapatan yang dihasilkan dari tiket masuk, penjualan makanan dan minuman, serta oleh-oleh memberikan dampak positif bagi masyarakat sekitar. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan yang dihadapi, seperti pengelolaan lingkungan dan kebutuhan akan fasilitas yang lebih baik. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengelola Taman Satwa Ragunan dan pemangku kepentingan terkait dalam merumuskan strategi pengembangan yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan pengalaman pengunjung dan memaksimalkan manfaat ekonomi bagi komunitas lokal.

Abstract

Songket Riau is a traditional fabric that is synonymous with the culture of the people in Riau, Indonesia. However, the practice of making this fabric has been affected by environmental damage caused by human activities. This research aims to explore the values of local wisdom in preserving the environment through the production of Songket Riau. The study used a qualitative critical discourse analysis approach and was conducted in Bandar Senapelan, the main production area of Songket Riau. Primary and secondary data were collected, and data analysis was conducted using in-depth interviews and content analysis. The results show that the production of Songket Riau can be done in harmony with the environment by implementing practices such as using natural dyes, reducing waste, and respecting the environment. This study concludes by recommending that the government and stakeholders should promote the use of local wisdom in preserving the environment in the production of Songket Riau. This will ensure the sustainability of the cultural heritage and the environment.
