Abstract

Stemming Javanese affix words using Nazief & Adriani modifications still has problems that cannot be solved such as overstemming, understemming, and unchange. Then there needs to be improvements to improve the performance of Nazief & Adriani modifications. This study aims to improve the performance of Nazief & Adriani modifications using the Enahnced Confix Stripping (ECS) modification method. The results of this study indicate that Enhanced Confix Stripping can improve performance that previously had an accuracy of only 78.2% to 97.9% with an error rate of 2.1%. And fixing errors that originally numbered 98 to 9 errors. But Enhanced Confix Stripping still has problems with the words "ngetan, kumanggah, kumarut, kumasis, kumareg, kumadul, kumaras, katawakake, and pangenan". The next research is expected to be able to solve this problem.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sistem kuis algoritma pemrograman berbasis web dan mengetahui validitas sistem kuis algoritma pemrograman berbasis web. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan pada mahasiswa, ditemukan fakta yang menunjukkan per­masalahan pada pemahaman untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam pe­mrograman komputer. Informasi didapatkan dengan menye­barkan kuesi­oner pada mahasiswa. Dari informasi tersebut, didapatkan data bahwa al­go­ritma merupakan materi pada pemrograman yang paling pen­ting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, penilaian kelayakan sistem kuis algoritma pemro­graman oleh ahli media mendapatkan perolehan data sebesar 85,71% pada aspek penggunaan, 85% pada aspek desain, dan 85% pada aspek fungsi. Dengan rata-rata perolehan data sebesar 85,29%. Dari hasil penelitian ter­sebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem kuis algoritma pemrograman yang telah dikembangkan sudah layak digunakan dengan revisi kecil.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah salah satu negara produsen dan eksportir kopi paling besar di dunia. Produksi dan konsumsi kopi nasional terus meningkat setiap tahun sehingga bisnis kopi menjadi salah satu usaha paling menjanjikan. Salah satu produk inovasi yang berasal dari kopi yaitu saos dan selai kopi seperti produk yang dihasilkan oleh UMKM Sejahtera Sentosa. UMKM Sejahtera Sentosa yang menjadi mitra pada pengabdian ini memproduksi saos dan selai kopi dengan nama label DeKofie dengan produktivitas yang meningkat. Tetapi mitra masih menggunakan proses produksi yang manual sehingga sulit untuk menambah jumlah produksinya. Sementara permintaan pasar semakin tinggi. Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam pengabdian ini yaitu bagaimana meningkatkan produktivitas dari mitra tanpa harus menambah jumlah karyawan. Upaya UM dalam mewujudkan RENSTRA UM dilakukan oleh tim abdimas dengan merumuskan solusi bagi mitra abdimas. Solusi yang diberikan tanpa menambah jumlah karyawan adalah dengan menggunakan mesin otomatis. Tim abdimas merancang dan menerapkan mesin pengaduk otomatis untuk membantu proses produksi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan menerapakan metode survei, desain dan instalasi dari TTG, evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan. Kegiatan ini mendapat respon positif dari mitra.

Abstract

Kampong Tridi and Warna-Warni are two small communities in Malang, Indonesia, which have started efforts to realize a sustainable environment within a broader national movement to eliminate slum areas. Colourful artwork and painted murals have made them popular tourist spots that attract 150 tourists per day on average, which helps boost the local economy. However, both kampongs are still lacking sanitation service. Blackwater and greywater generated from inhabitants’ activities are directly dumped into the Brantas River, negatively impacting water quality. A workshop was organized to increase the participants’ awareness of environmental issues, particularly in water resource sustainability, and obtain a commitment to adopt constructed wetlands as sustainable, nature-based solutions for wastewater treatment. Two types of the questionnaire (pretest and posttest) were distributed to 50 participants to identify perception differences generated through the workshop. A digital game and a 3D simulation were developed to educate the participants on constructed wetlands as wastewater treatment systems in fun, attractive, and effective ways. Participants’ awareness of environmental issues in water resources increased from 67% to 76%, and the workshop had motivated the participants to adopt constructed wetlands in their neighbourhood.

Abstract

The level of dependence on data communication in the modern era is increasing exponentially. The internet of things (IoT) plays a very important role in the advancement of the industrial revolution 4.0 that utilizes data communication systems. IoT deployments require data communication protocols, such as hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP), and message queuing telemetry transport (MQTT) as well as network communication protocols (wireless) to meet the network needs of devices with limited resources. Optimization of data communication in IoT is needed to maintain the quality of sending and receiving data in real time. This research proposes a hybrid NarrowBand-IoT (NB-IoT) protocol designed using NarrowBand communication network technology with optimization of data communication using MQTT and HTTP protocols. In this research, the hybrid NB-IoT protocol has the best packet loss value of 0.010% against the HTTP NB-IoT protocol which has a value of 0.017%, and the MQTT NB-IoT protocol of 0.024%. The hybrid NB-IoT protocol has a latency value of 8.7 seconds compared to the HTTP NB-IoT protocol which has a latency of 10.9 seconds. Meanwhile, the throughput value of the hybrid NB-IoT protocol is 158906.1 byte/s and is better than the MQTT NB-IoT protocol which is only 158898.6 bytes/s.

Abstract

The ensemble method is considered an advanced method in both prediction and classification. The application of this method is estimated to have a more optimal output than the previous classification method. This article aims to determine the ensemble's performance to classify journal quartiles. The subject of agriculture was chosen because Indonesia is an agricultural country, and the interest of researchers in this field shows a positive response. The data is downloaded through the Scimago Journal and Country Rank with the accumulation in 2020. Labels have four classes: Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4. The ensemble applied is Boosting and Bagging with Decision Tree (DT) and Gaussian Naïve Bayes (GNB) algorithms compiled from 2144 instances. The Boosting meta-ensembles used are Adaboost and XGBoost. From this study, the Bagging Decision Tree has the highest accuracy score at 71.36, followed by XGBoost Decision Tree with 69.51. The third is XGBoost Gaussian Naïve Bayes with 68.82, Adaboost Decision Tree with 60.42, Adaboost Gaussian Naïve Bayes with 58.2, and Bagging Gaussian Naïve Bayes with 56.12 results. This paper shows that the Bagging Decision Tree is the ensemble method that works optimally in this subject classification. This result suggests that the ensemble method can still fail to produce an ideal outcome that approaches the SJR system.

Abstract

While submitting proposals in SISINTA, students often confuse or falsely submit their proposals to the less relevant or incorrect research group. There are 13 research groups for the students to choose from. We proposed a text classification method to help students find the best research group based on the title and/or abstract. The stages in this study include data collection, preprocessing data, classification using Logistic Regression, and evaluation of the results. Three scenarios in research group classification are based on 1) title only, 2) abstract only, and 3) title and abstract. Based on the experiments, research group classification using title-only input is the best overall. This scenario gets the most optimal results with accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score successively at 63.68%, 64.91%, 63.68%, and 63.46%. This result is sufficient to help students find the best research group based on the text titles. In addition, lecturers can comment more elaborately since the proposals are relevant to the research group’s scope.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran yang berkembang di bidang IPTEK tentunya akan menunjang kemajuan dan perubahan positif dalam bidang pendidikan. Dengan media pembelajaran yang menarik seperti tayangan atau tampilan bergerak akan membuat peserta didik lebih mudah mengingat dan menyerap materi. Salah satu contoh media pembelajaran adalah buku ajar yang digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Pada jurusan multimedia di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan belum terdapat buku ajar yang menggabungkan materi dengan progam augmented reality. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan pendekatan model penelitian dan pengembangan Arief S Sadiman dkk. Media pembelajaran ini menghasilkan buku teknik animasi 2D dan progam augmented reality. hasil validitas media pembelajaran yaitu dari ahli media sebesar 95,4 persen, ahli materi sebesar 90 persen dan dari responden berdasarkan hasil conbrach alpha UEQ berada pada skala lebih besar dari 0,7 yang bernilai good. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran teknik animasi 2D berbasis augmented reality untuk Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan pada jurusan multimedia telah berhasil dikembangkan dan valid serta layak untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has been experienced throughout the world has resulted in the decline of several aspects, ranging from health, the economy, and the education system. Education that usually runs offline (offline) must now be replaced with online (online). Offline learning is different from online learning. A significant differentiator is the media in the learning process. Not all teachers can use technology optimally for the online learning process, especially for kindergarten teachers (TK) As Salam Malang. In the learning process, motivation is needed because if you do not be motivated in learning, it is impossible to carry out learning activities. So there needs to be an innovation or learning breakthrough that makes kindergarten students enthusiastic and feel comfortable from the learning process, namely the online-based game Edu candy. This community service activity aims to provide training for kindergarten teachers who are expected to increase knowledge, especially in the field of technology for As Salam Kindergarten teachers and can improve interesting online learning models so that the material presented by the teacher can be well received by students. Pandemi COVID-19 yang dialami seluruh dunia mengakibatkan terpuruknya beberapa aspek, mulai dari kesehatan, perekonomian, dan juga sistem pendidikan. Pendidikan yang biasanya berjalan secara luar jaringan (luring) kini harus digantikan dengan dalam jaringan (daring). Cara pembelajaran luring berbeda dengan pembelajaran daring. Pembeda yang signifikan adalah media dalam proses pembelajaran. Tidak semua guru bisa menggunakan secara maksimal teknologi untuk proses pembelajaran daring terutama pada guru Taman Kanak kanak (TK) As Salam Malang. Dalam proses belajar, motivasi sangat diperlukan karena jika tidak mempunyai motivasi dalam belajarnya tidak mungkin melakukan aktivitas belajar. Maka perlu adanya sebuah inovasi atau terobosan pembelajaran yang membuat murid-murid TK antusias dan merasakan kenyamanan dari proses belajar tersebut yaitu berbasis game online Educandy. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan terhadap guru TK yang diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan khususnya bidang teknologi pada guru TK As Salam dan dapat meningkatkan model pembelajaran yang menarik secara daring sehingga materi yang disampaikan guru dapat diterima baik oleh murid.

Abstract

The main topics of this paper are e-commerce, Industry 4.0, as well as Society 5.0, which includes terms, history, workflow, as well as technological aspects. A comparative analysis between Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 was conducted to investigate their alignment impact towards e-commerce. After thorough examination and comparison, the study concluded that the technology in Society 5.0 is part of the continuation of Industry 4.0 technology. Furthermore, there is technological synergy between electronic commerce as well as the industry 4.0 period and Society 5.0, with electronic commerce technology adapting to the technology of each era. The development and progress of electronic commerce will benefit greatly from Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0. Topik utama makalah ini adalah perdagangan elektronik, Industri 4.0, juga Masyarakat 5.0, yang termasuk dalam istilah, sejarah, rangkaian kerja, juga aspek teknologinya. Analisis komparatif antara Industri 4.0 dan Masyarakat 5.0 dilakukan untuk menyelidiki dampak keselarasan mereka yang mengarahkan kepada e-commerce. Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan dan perbandingan secara menyeluruh, kajian tersebut menyimpulkan yaitu, teknologi yang ada pada Society 5.0 bagian dari lanjutan yang berasal dari teknologi Industri 4.0. Selanjutnya, terdapat sinergi teknologi antar perdagangan elektronik juga periode Industri 4.0 dengan Masyarakat 5.0, dengan teknologi perdagangan elektronik yang beradaptasi dengan teknologi setiap era. Perkembangan dan kemajuan perdagangan elektronik sangat diuntungkan oleh Industri 4.0 dan Masyarakat 5.0.
