Abstract

The use of technology and the internet in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 has the potential to improve product marketing strategies. E-commerce, as a product sales platform, is currently becoming popular and widely used. The number of e-commerce users continues to grow because of the ease of getting the desired product. Low interest in repurchasing needs to be considered in management's perspective to improve strategic planning and company services. The researchers point out that repurchase intentions are a much-studied topic in the current era of globalization. For this reason, this research will examine the influence of brand reputation and service quality on repurchase interest on the Shopee e-commerce platform. Data processing using SmartPLS software. The results of the validity and reliability tests for the indicators used showed validity and reliability and the results of the classical assumption test showed no multicollinearity in the variables. The results of the hypothesis test partially show that brand reputation does not have a significant influence on repurchase interest, while service quality has a significant influence on repurchase interest.

Abstract

This short article attempts to apply Adrian B. Lapian's theory of three maritime community groups (Sea People, Pirates, & Sea Kings) in the context of the Srivijaya Kingdom other than the Sulu Islands which are the focus of Lapian's discussion. This article analyzes the involvement of the king in the recruitment of Pirates and the organizational structure of Pirates and Sea Kings in Srivijaya. Meanwhile, the Sea People group in the Srivijaya Kingdom is analyzed here by identifying their roles in trade and cooperation with Sea Raiders and Sea Lords according to Adrian B. Lapian's previous theory from the case study of the Sulu Sultanate. It was found that the novelty of the study was that there was a comparison of cases in the Riau-Bangka Belitung Islands Sea Region with the Sulawesi Sea and Sulu Islands in terms of the loyalty of the Sea People in Sulu and Srivijaya (Riau-Bangka Islands). Likewise, the organizational structure of the Sea Kings and the Pirate recruitment system in both regions had significant differences. This study uses a historical method that has four stages, namely heuristics, criticism, verification, and historiography.

Abstract

Education is an important element in developing quality human resources. In the formal education system, schools not only function as a place of learning but also as an institution that builds collaboration between students, teachers, and parents. The success of an educational institution is not only determined by the academic achievements of students, but also by the harmonious relationship between the institution and its stakeholders, especially parents. Parents' trust and loyalty to educational institutions are important keys in creating productive relationships and supporting the sustainability and development of schools. This study aims to analyze the effect of openness and accountability on parental trust and its impact on parental loyalty. This study was conducted at SMP Shidqia Islamic School, located at Jl. Suryadharma No. 1A, Aerospace Earth Permai Housing, Jatisari , Jatiasih , Bekasi City. The approach used in this study was quantitative, with a data collection method through distributing questionnaires to 87 parents using a simple random sampling technique. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to provide an overview of the research variables, as well as the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software with three main stages, namely evaluation of the measurement model (outer model), evaluation of the structural model (inner model), and hypothesis testing to identify direct and indirect influences, including the role of mediating variables. The results of this study indicate that openness and accountability each have a positive and significant effect on the trust and loyalty of parents of students. In addition, parental trust also has a positive and significant effect on the loyalty of parents of students. However, the variable of parental trust does not act as a mediator in the relationship between openness and accountability on the loyalty of parents of students at SMP Shidqia Islamic School. Overall, the independent variables in this study are able to explain the dependent variable by 68.2%.

Abstract

This study explores the mediating roles of trust and reputation in the relationship between transaction security and purchase intention on Shopee. As online shopping becomes increasingly common, understanding how security influences consumer behavior is essential for e-commerce growth. The research investigates how transaction security affects purchase intention through trust and reputation, addressing the question: How does transaction security influence purchase intention via trust and reputation on Shopee?. This study offers novelty by analyzing trust and reputation simultaneously as mediators an approach rarely explored together in existing research. Using a quantitative method and structural equation modeling (SEM), data were collected from 161 Shopee users. The results show that transaction security significantly increases both trust and reputation. However, while reputation positively affects purchase intention, trust alone does not show a significant direct influence. The findings imply that improving transaction security must be accompanied by strong reputation management to effectively drive consumer purchasing decisions. For platforms like Shopee, integrating security measures with visible, trustworthy reputation systems is key to enhancing user confidence and boosting engagement. The study concludes that robust transaction security must be complemented by effective reputation management to increase purchase intention. E-commerce platforms like Shopee should prioritize both security protocols and user reputation systems to foster consumer confidence and drive engagement.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of company size, age, and ownership concentration on Intellectual Capital Disclosure (ICD) in manufacturing firms listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Using quantitative methods and secondary data from annual reports, the findings indicate that company size and age do not significantly affect ICD. Furthermore, ownership concentration does not act as a moderating variable. These results imply that ownership structure and stakeholder pressure are more influential in shaping disclosure practices. Consequently, companies should enhance governance and transparency in their intellectual capital reporting to better align with stakeholder expectations.

Abstract

MSMEs play a strategic role in the Indonesian economy, but quality inconsistency remains a major challenge, often stemming from inadequate quality cost management. This service activity aims to strengthen micro-enterprises, especially Warteg Punya Selera (WPS) MSMEs, by increasing their knowledge and practical skills in managing the four components of Quality Cost (Prevention, Assessment, Internal Failure, and External Failure) to improve product and service quality. The method employed consisted of three stages: pre-test assessment, interactive training with a hands-on approach, and post-test evaluation. The results showed an increase in overall understanding of quality cost management by 76.8%. The highest improvement was recorded in the understanding of the external cost of failure (99.1%) and the internal cost of failure (84.9%). This significant improvement indicates that the training was successful in shifting the mindset of micro businesses from reactive to proactive, leading to a greater commitment to allocate resources to preventive costs. Proper quality cost management is an important strategic step for WPS MSMEs to achieve optimal cost efficiency, consistent product quality, and long-term business sustainabilityABSTRAKUMKM memiliki peran yang strategis dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun inkonsistensi mutu masih menjadi tantangan utama, yang seringkali berasal dari pengelolaan biaya kualitas yang belum memadai.
