Abstract

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology has led to various types of technological crimes. One solution to secure messages is by using cryptographic and steganographic techniques. This research combined the Rivest Code 6 (RC6) cryptographic algorithm and the Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganographic algorithm to enhance message security. The study analyzed changes in an image embedded with a message and sent through applications such a WhatsApp, Telegram, and E-mail. The final result show that the image embedded with the message does not undergo significant changes. However, stego images sent directly via WhatsApp and Telegram experience size alterations, which cause the embedded messages to become corrupted. Meanwhile, stego images sent as documents retain their size, allowing the message to remain intact. Additionally, stego images sent via E-mail, either as attachments or directly, do not experience size changes, and the embedded messages can be fully retrieved.

Abstract

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) vary widely across Asian countries, indicating that the factors driving SDGs achievement may vary by location. Global models may miss these local variations, so this study used Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWR Panel), a method that estimates separate regression coefficients for each geographical location. The GWR Panel in this study was used to capture spatially varying SDGs determinants across 46 Asian countries from 2015 to 2024. This study also compares four Adaptive Kernel functions (Gaussian, Exponential, Bisquare, Tricube) with Haversine distances, as kernel choice directly affects which neighboring countries influence each local coefficient estimate, where applying the incorrect kernel to spatially heterogeneous data can lead to biased local estimates. The best kernel was selected using Cross-Validation (CV). The Adaptive Exponential Kernel produced the lowest CV value (81.686), compared to Adaptive Gaussian (83.128), Bisquare (84.485), and Tricube (85.095), confirming it as the most accurate kernel for this data. The results identified 16 distinct country groups, demonstrating that SDGs determinants vary across Asia. Education, gender, economic growth, infrastructure, environment, institutions, and partnerships are universally important. Meanwhile, water, health, hunger, and climate show the greatest regional variation. SDGs policies should be adjusted to local contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Canva-based interactive multimedia published as a website multimedia learning tool on the topic of System of Linear Inequalities in Two Variables that is suitable for use in the mathematics learning process. This study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The analysis stage involved identifying needs, learner characteristics, the curriculum, content, as well as the learning environment and resources. The design stage included formulating learning objectives, designing the presentation flow, user interface, storyboard, and research instruments. Subsequently, in the development stage, a website-based educational multimedia was created and validated by subject matter experts and media experts. The results of the study indicate that the developed educational multimedia meets the feasibility criteria and can be used in the learning process. This educational multimedia is expected to help students understand the material more easily and increase their interest in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of mathematics educational content based on Instagram Reels on learning basic trigonometry, focusing on visual, audio, and material delivery aspects, as well as to identify the most effective content in enhancing the learning interest of tenth-grade high school students. The study population consisted of over 50,000 followers of the researcher’s personal Instagram account, with 1,736 high school students selected as the sample through a preliminary survey using the polling feature among 4,134 followers. This research employed a Research and Development (RD) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages, to produce valid and practical educational video content. The feasibility test results indicated that the learning media achieved average scores ranging from 4.53 to 4.58, categorized as “Highly Feasible.” Practicality testing showed an average percentage of 84.77%, classified as “Highly Practical,” with high ratings for ease of use, student engagement, material comprehension, and learning relevance. The findings demonstrate that mathematics educational content based on Instagram Reels is effective, engaging, and capable of enhancing motivation and learning interest among tenth-grade high school students in basic trigonometry.

Abstract

This systematic literature review explores how technology is being used in math instruction students and the effect on this issue of problem-solving. Based on nine chosen studies, the review synthesises evidence about which kind of technological tools help improve problem-solving skills and the advantages and disadvantages of their use. The results show that the integration of technology positively helps students improve their problem-solving performance within pedagogically aligned learning activities, one that fosters strategic thinking, metacognitive skills and collaborative involvement. Some suitable tools are dynamic mathematics software, computer algebra system, Interactive learning tool and TPACK (technological pedagogical content knowledge) based technology. It also notes that benefits come with the caveat of schools not yet being prepared to teach, curriculum alignment and sufficient access to materials for learning, while challenges include equity of technology infrastructure, inadequate training and the speed at which digital tools change. The synthesis provides overall evidence of a conditional but significant effect of technology on developing problem-solving skills in mathematics education.
