Abstract

This research aims to compare the OEE values on the Spring Press Auto machine (B6H) and the Spring Press Manual machine (B65) and will analyze the OEE results of the two machines to see whether they comply with world class OEE standard. Quantitative research methods were used to carry out this research. Production performance analysis is important for companies in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of their production operations. One technique for assessing production efficiency is OEE.. This approach is utilized to measure how effectively production machines and equipment work in achieving predetermined production targets. This method measures three main things in production operations, namely availability, performance and quality of production machines and equipment. The OEE values obtained on the Spring Press Auto machine (B6H) and the Spring Press Manual machine (B65) still do not reach the world-class OEE standard. To achieve JIPM (Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance) standards, the Shock Absorber machine must achieve a score of 85%.

Abstract

Many students face various complex academic challenges, ranging from heavy workloads, pressure to achieve, to intense academic competition. These conditions can trigger emotional stress that affects academic resilience. This study aims to examine students' academic resilience in terms of emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and gender.   This quantitative study used purposive sampling and involved 217 students. Data collection was conducted using two scales: one to measure emotional intelligence and another to measure students' self-efficacy, which were administered through questionnaires, along with demographic data on students' gender.  Hypothesis testing showed a significant influence between emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and gender with an F value of 0.000 at p < 0.05. Emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and gender contributed 48.6% of the variability in academic resilience (R² = 0.486), indicating a significant impact. These findings indicate that by enhancing emotional intelligence and self-efficacy, students' academic resilience can be improved, enabling them to better cope with academic pressure and challenges. Additionally, understanding gender differences in resilience enables the development of more targeted counseling programs and psychological interventions to help students manage stress, maintain learning motivation, and improve their academic well-being.

Abstract

Purpose: Community-Based Total Sanitation or STBM is an empowerment-based approach promoting hygienic behavior without subsidies. However, implementation in geographically challenging areas, such as wetlands, remains problematic, with limited research on context-specific adaptations. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of STBM in wetland areas by examining implementation protocols, monitoring mechanisms, and post-Open Defecation Free (ODF) sustainability in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency, Indonesia. Methods: This qualitative case study employed purposive sampling to select 12 key informants across multiple sectors (health department, public works, primary health centers, village officials, and community members). Data were collected through in-depth interviews (25 to 80 minutes), participant observation, and document review. Thematic analysis, employing open coding, was conducted with source triangulation to ensure validity. Results: STBM implementation remains focused on Pillar 1 (Stop Open Defecation) with uneven achievement across subdistricts (ODF declaration in only 16.4% of villages despite 74.6% being triggered). Key implementation barriers included: (1) absence of village facilitators and formal STBM working groups; (2) weak post-triggering monitoring systems lacking formal community-to-health center reporting mechanisms; and (3) geographic constraints with conventional sanitation technologies proving unsuitable for wetland conditions. Additionally, a subsidy-oriented community culture hindered the adoption of behavior change. Conclusion: Effective CLTS implementation in wetland areas requires context-specific adaptations, including strengthened village-level institutions, locally adapted sanitation technologies, and formal post-ODF regulations. These findings contribute to understanding the geographical determinants of sanitation program effectiveness and highlight the importance of place-based approaches to achieve sustainable sanitation goals.

Abstract

Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) was introduced by Seiichi Nakajima in Japan in the 1950s, inspired by the concept of Preventive Maintenance by George Smith from the United States. The initial implementation of TPM was carried out by Nippondenso, a Toyota supplier, in the 1960s, with the result of increased productivity and reduced equipment downtime. TPM evolved into a global management system that focuses on eight pillars to achieve production efficiency, reduced maintenance costs, and improved product quality. TPM has been adopted by various industries, especially Manufacturing. One of the key indicators in TPM is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), which measures availability, performance, and quality. The OEE value is influenced by six main factors (Six Big Losses), but it is not yet known more specifically the biggest problem of six big losses. For this reason, it is necessary to analyse various industrial sectors. The research shows that downtime due to machine failure is the biggest problem in 35 or 83.3% of industrial sectors. Further analysis is needed to improve the effectiveness of machinery and equipment, especially in the automotive sector which is often the focus of research. The results of the review process also have not found research related to equipment effectiveness through OEE measurements in the field of services.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of academic achievement and parental involvement on student subjective well-being (SSWB) among high school students in Bandar Lampung City. SSWB encompasses students' perceptions of the quality of life at school, including school connectedness, academic success, enjoyment of learning, and educational goals. This study used a quantitative approach, with 200 students from two private high schools as a sample selected through quota sampling. The instruments used included the SSWQ scale, a parental involvement scale, and report card data as an indicator of academic achievement. The results showed that academic achievement and parental involvement significantly influenced SSWB, both partially and simultaneously, with parental involvement having a greater influence (β = 0.464; effective contribution = 22.41%) than academic achievement (β = 0.296; effective contribution = 9.65%), with an R Square of 0.320. These findings confirm the importance of parents' roles and academic achievement in supporting students' subjective well-being at school.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the fear feeling of family and the threat of COVID-19 in stroke survivors. Methods: This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological research design. This study is a nested research in the population of HDSS Sleman, so it uses secondary data from stroke survivors' information. The research informants amounted to 8 people. Data collection was carried out in July-August 2021 in Kecamatan Depok Kabupaten Sleman. In-depth interviews and photo documentation were carried out in data collection. Data were analyzed using OpenCode version 4.2. Results: The health status of the stroke survivors at the time of the interview had recovered before the pandemic, died during the pandemic but was not caused by COVID-19, and were still in a state of stroke. All informants or families of stroke survivors showed the same fear response to the threat of COVID-19. Families who care for stroke survivors think that those who are at risk and vulnerable to being exposed to COVID-19 are older people and those who have comorbidities. Fear arises because it is influenced by the perception of oneself and the surrounding environment. There are fears in the form of the assumption that they might be exposed when carrying out examinations and treatment at health facilities, fear of doing swabs, and the financing of COVID-19 testing and the number of positive cases. Conclusion: The fear of the vulnerability of stroke survivors when exposed to the COVID-19 virus is shown by families of stroke survivors by avoiding visits to health facilities, be it puskesmas or hospitals, and choosing to anticipate themselves at home. The fear of the families of stroke survivors must be a concern for the healthcare institutions that protect them so that treatment and health services for stroke survivors with comorbidities during the pandemic can still be achieved.

Abstract

Purpose: Kelurahan siaga is a form of community empowerment. The latest data from Pusdatin in 2013 shows that the percentage amount of desa and kelurahan siaga aktif in Indonesia was 65.2%, and in DIY was 94.3%. The percentage of kelurahan siaga in Yogyakarta City in 2016 reached 100% but experienced torpidity. The kelurahan siaga was revitalized by establishing the Si Kesi Gemes network. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of Si Kesi Gemes in Yogyakarta City. Methods: This research used a qualitative descriptive exploratory study with a single case study design. The selection of informants was carried out by purposive sampling. The selected informants were local officials and non-governmental organizations registered in the Si Kesi Gemes network. Data were collected using Focussed Group Discussion (FGD), in-depth interviews and observations. FGDs were conducted in 2 groups by undertaking in-depth interviews with 21 participants. The data validity was done using triangulation and peer debriefing. Results: The formation of Si KesiGemes was done using a combination of top-down and participatory approaches. The top-down approach means that the network is initiated and formed by the Health Office, while the participatory approach means that Kesi is involved in the regional network formation. Si Kesi Gemes plays a role in activating the coordination of Kesi and extending cooperation with private health service facilities, health colleges, and local employers. The effectiveness of Si Kesi Gemes is indicated through the accommodation of Kesi in the village fund, the liveliness of the village coordination forums, the funding from CSR, the activeness of UKBM Posbindu, and the presence of innovative activities. Public health centers still dominate UKBM coaching, and the training does not meet the needs of participants. Conclusion: The formation of Si Kesi Gemes is indispensable for binding the involvement of the networks in supporting Kelurahan Siaga. Kesi, FKKS, and FKS are expected to schedule regular coordination at the village, sub-district, and city levels.
