Abstract

Procastination is a habit that is often carried out by final year students and is detrimental to academics. This research aims to: 1) knowing the causes of academic procastination of final year students; 2) know how to overcome academic procastination in final year students by building self-awareness through Islamic counseling. The method used in this research is field research with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses data display, data reduction and clarification steps. The research results show that;1) Factors that trigger academic procrastination in final year students are personality factors, namely self-interest and motivation, self-order, self-efficacy, low self-control, fear of failure, unimportant activities, lack of communication with supervisors, and cultural factors: 2) How to overcome the occurrence of student academic procastination with Islamic counseling, namely:(1) building self-awareness through 7 steps, namely repentance, wara', asceticism, qona'ah, gratitude, patience and sincerity;(2) strengthening aspects of student personality,(3) build good communication with the final assignment supervisor,(4) control the progress of the final assignment as feedback, provide humanist guidance, and strengthen awareness.

Abstract

Keterampilan membaca permulaan merupakan fondasi krusial dalam penguasaan literasi siswa pada jenjang pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media video animasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II di MI Mafatihul Akhlaq Demangan Jepara. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental (one-group pretest-posttest design) yang melibatkan 25 siswa sebagai subjek. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes membaca permulaan, yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 62,52 meningkat menjadi 90,32 pada posttest setelah penerapan media video animasi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa.

Abstract

A prescription is a written request from a doctor to a pharmacist, as not everyone can know the dosage or type of a particular drug, especially patients who need a prescription for the drug must be kept secret. Rapid technological advances can have an impact on all sectors, both private and government, including the medical field. One of the medical services that utilizes IT is to send prescription messages electronically to pharmacists in response to doctors' requests. The many misuse of prescription drugs by irresponsible people and misreading prescription drugs by pharmacists can be fatal for patients, so a solution is needed to overcome these problems. The purpose of this study is to create an encrypted electronic recipe application using the Hill Cipher method. This research method generally starts from data collection, data analysis and encryption model development. Applications designed with the Hill Cipher Algorithm are developed with modified algorithm keys using postal code patterns as the matrix keys, this aims to achieve the maximum level of security. The results of the system functionality test using the black box method obtained normal results for all system test scenarios. Validity testing yields valid results. The final test, through questionnaire testing, obtained a good level of system feasibility, namely an average level of Service of 83%, Features of 78% and Performance of 81%. Overall, the system has given a good performance score as the accuracy of the system is above 70%.

Abstract

One of the characteristics that must be instilled in students at the elementary school level is religious character. Religious character is the foundation for cultivating student character, where an excellent religious character can create moral human resources. Cultivating religious character cannot be separated from the role of the school principal. This research aims to analyze the role of SD Al Islam Pengkol Jepara's principal in strengthening students' religious character through the pillars of the Pancasila student profile of faith and devotion to God Almighty. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative case study type with data analysis techniques used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that school principals are essential in cultivating student character. In general, the program launched by the principal of SD Al Islam Pengkol Jepara is divided into three programs: class, habituation, and exemplary. The class program is filled with written Pegon, Diniyyah classes, and Islamic boarding school classes. The habituation program is filled with praying Dluha and Dzuhur in the congregation, praying and reading the Asmaul Husna before learning and getting used to shaking hands and kissing the teacher's hand. The exemplary programs carried out by school principals include exemplary religious character, exemplary disciplinary character, exemplary democratic character, and exemplary social care character.

Abstract

Pancasila as the basis of the Indonesian state has an important role in shaping the character and identity of the nation. Effective implementation P5 requires collaborative management involving various parties, such as school principals, teachers, education staff, parents and the community. This research aims to describe the urgency of collaborative management as an effective approach in implementing P5 in elementary schools. Research method used in this research is a qualitative method with a type of literature study. The literature study was carried out by developing theoretical and practical aspects obtained from collecting data from national and international journals that are still relevant. So the results of the study support the ideas and concepts of this research. Based on literature analysis, it shows that collaborative management is used as an effective approach in implementing P5 in elementary schools, including the steps summarized in 4M, building open and effective communication with parents and communities involved in implementing P5, second, providing a clear division of roles for students. and the stakeholders involved, third, encourage active involvement of all parties from planning, implementation to evaluation. fourth, increasing collaboration in sharing insights activities between teachers and school principals so that P5 can be understood together

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of teacher personality competence on the learning interest of class VI students at SD Negeri 3 Krasak Pecangaan Jepara. This research method uses a quantitative approach with an expost facto type of research. The data collection technique in this research uses questionnaires which are used to measure teachers' personality competencies and students' interest in learning. get results in a simple regression test, get a significance value of 0.004, this value is <0.05 or 0.004 <0.05. In the F-test, the results showed a significant value of 0.004 < 0.05 and looking at the calculated value Fcount >Ftable or 11.150 > 4.49, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Then, the coefficient of determination test shows that the correlation value (R) is 0.653, and the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.426, which means that the influence of Teacher Personality Competence on Student Learning Interest is 42.6%. With this it can be concluded that the teacher's personality competence has an influence on students' interest in learning.Keywords: Teacher Personality Competence, Interest in Learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) keterampilan menyimak siswa 2) faktor menyimak siswa 3) aktivitas belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Tunggulwulung 03. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu lembar wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) keterampilan menyimak cenderung siswa sulit berkonsentrasi dan juga persiapan guru dalam meyiapan media (2) faktor kesulitan menyimak yaitu psikologis anak (3) Aktivitas belajar siswa sudah cukup bagus.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan berbicara siswa sering kali disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman terhadap konsep dasar bahasa dan penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang menarik. Salah satu solusi inovatif yang dapat digunakan adalah media video animasi Stop Motion, yaitu media berbentuk animasi dari rangkaian gambar diam yang disusun berurutan hingga menciptakan ilusi gerak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh penggunaan media video animasi Stop Motion terhadap kemampuan berbicara Bahasa Indonesia siswa kelas V di SDN 6 Bangsri Jepara. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen tipe pre-test post-test control group. Sampel terdiri atas 52 siswa kelas V. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil uji Independent Sample T-test mendapatkan nilai t = 3,808 dan signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media terhadap kemampuan berbicara. Nilai N-gain pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,53 (kategori sedang), sedangkan kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,11 (kategori rendah). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi Stop Motion efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran visual yang selaras dengan kebutuhan dan gaya belajar siswa di era digital.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low initial reading skills of first-grade students at SD N 1 Krasak Bangsri Jepara, which is caused by the use of learning media that is less than optimal and tends to be monotonous. Yet, initial reading is a crucial foundation for subsequent learning. The focus of this study was to determine the significant effect of using letter cards on improving students' initial reading skills. This study used a quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design on 30 first-grade students. The research stages included administering a pretest, a learning intervention using letter cards for three meetings, and concluding with a posttest using the same instrument. Data were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results showed a very significant increase in reading skills: the students' average score increased from 69.67 in the pretest to 87.93 in the posttest. This main finding was supported by the results of the hypothesis test, which showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). It was concluded that the letter cards had a significant and effective effect in improving students' initial reading skills. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD N 1 Krasak Bangsri Jepara, yang disebabkan oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran yang belum maksimal dan cenderung monoton. Padahal, membaca permulaan adalah fondasi krusial untuk pembelajaran selanjutnya. Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh signifikan penggunaan media kartu huruf terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest terhadap 30 siswa kelas I. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pemberian pretest (tes awal), intervensi pembelajaran menggunakan media kartu huruf selama tiga pertemuan, dan diakhiri dengan posttest (tes akhir) menggunakan instrumen yang sama. Data dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca yang sangat signifikan: nilai rata-rata siswa naik dari 69,67 pada pretest menjadi 87,93 pada posttest. Temuan utama ini didukung oleh hasil uji hipotesis yang menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa media kartu huruf berpengaruh secara signifikan dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of implementing the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model on Indonesian writing competence in fifth-grade students at SDN 04 Ngeling Jepara, who previously demonstrated low proficiency. This study adopts a pre-experimental approach with a One-Group Pre-test – Post-test design. The research participants include the entire fifth-grade population of 29 students, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data on writing ability were obtained through pre- and post-tests, which were then statistically analysed using a paired t-test. The analysis results showed substantial progress, with the average writing ability score increasing from 49.3 in the pre-test to 82.5 in the post-test. The t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p 0.05), confirming the strong impact of the intervention. The effectiveness level of this model was categorised as moderate, with an N-Gain score of 0.67. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the NHT model significantly and effectively contributed to the improvement of students' writing skills.
