Abstract

Perineal rupture is an injury to the perineum that is caused by natural tissue damage due to pressure on the fetal head or shoulders during delivery. To determine the factors that influence the incidence of perineal rupture in mothers giving birth at BPM Mesrida Simarmata, Am Keb in 2022. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a retrospective approach. The population of this study was pregnant women who experienced perineal rupture in 2022. The total population was 30 people and with a total sampling technique. The instrument uses a checklist and the data analysis technique uses analysis. The majority of respondents had grade 2 perineal rupture. The mother's age was 20-35 years as many as 27 people (90%), the majority of parity were multiparous as many as 18 people (60%). BBL 2500-3500 grams was 26 people (67%) and pregnancy interval > 2 years was 16 (53%). The majority of respondents are in normal condition, it is necessary to investigate things that cause perineal rupture, such as pushing techniques and efforts to make the perineum elastic. The parity of multiparous respondents needs to be researched with the variable history of previous perineal rupture.

Abstract

This research explores the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for collision detection in multi-story buildings, with a focus on the Directorate General of Customs and Excise's Office of Facilities and Infrastructure in Banjarmasin as a case study. The primary objectives of this research are to quantify and analyze collisions among structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) elements within the building, and to assess how collision detection impacts material quantities and cost estimates. The study leveraged Revit 2022 to construct a comprehensive 3D building model and utilized Navisworks 2022 for clash detection analysis, identifying clashes across the three mentioned components. Subsequently, clash resolution strategies, including component geometry and position adjustments, were employed. The investigation reveals that design errors emerged as the predominant cause of collisions, followed closely by design inconsistencies and mismatches. The findings underscore the potential for substantial cost savings, up to 10.056% of the total project budget, primarily driven by optimizations in architectural materials. As a result, the study recommends a renewed emphasis on design coordination as a means to proactively prevent clashes and thereby reduce overall project costs.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine and analyze the effectiveness of implementing a management control system in increasing income through credit sales at PT. Astra International, Gatot Subroto Medan Branch. The research method used is a qualitative approach, incorporating primary data obtained through interviews and secondary data from literature studies and documentation via the official company website and supporting documents requested directly from the source. The research results indicate that the management control system has not effectively increased income through credit sales at the distributor company. This is attributed to the sales and management department's failure to update the requirements for purchasing cars on credit, and the standard operating procedure (SOP) for credit sales has not been fully implemented. The distributor company faces obstacles in implementing a credit sales system, including a lack of cooperation between the company and the leasing party in facilitating credit approval, along with insufficient work motivation and limited time for evaluating improvements to the credit sales system. To address these challenges, the company endeavors to enhance revenue through the credit sales system by updating the requirements for purchasing cars on credit to attract customers. Additionally, the company conducts consistent monthly evaluations in accordance with the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP).

Abstract

Cultural heritage in Indonesia, apart from having high historical value, is also closely linked to spiritual and religious values. However, in this modern era, local wisdom and customs are underestimated by millennials. Assumptions about ethnicity and culture that are even considered deviant from religious teachings. Culture is considered taboo and not worth preserving. Traditional habits that should become local wisdom are actually increasingly shifting and almost disappearing one by one. In this regard, the researcher intends to conduct research to review the religious values contained in the local wisdom of the Tomakaka people of North Luwu district, South Sulawesi. This is intended so that local wisdom as regional culture can continue and continue to exist in the onslaught of the modern world. The relationship between religious and cultural values is a complex and multidimensional subject. Religion is often a moral pillar in culture, shaping values, norms, and social institutions. However, culture also influences the way religion is practiced and interpreted in everyday life. Understanding this relationship is the key to embracing cultural and religious diversity throughout the world as well as the religious values contained in the local wisdom of the Tomakaka people of North Luwu, starting from the traditions of Toke' Sampa', Mapalesso Samaja, Massolo', Tudang Sipulung, and Ma'bunga ' Lalang..

Abstract

Coffee agroforestry systems have great potential in optimizing the dual function of carbon and biodiversity conservation, especially in areas with high land use pressure. However, although coffee agroforestry has been widely practiced in Indonesia, the specific relationship pattern between carbon stocks and vegetation biodiversity is still not well understood. This study aimed to evaluate (1) the role of coffee agroforestry in maintaining vegetation diversity and carbon sequestration compared to disturbed forests (HT) and (2) the relationship between carbon stocks and biodiversity at various plant growth stages. Three land use systems were  selected such as HT and complex (AFM) and simple (AFS) coffee-based agroforestry systems. The number of trees, species richness (R), Shannon-wiener index (H’), species evenness (E), and carbon stocks were measured in 12 plots (100 m x 20 m) for each vegetation growth stages (seedlings, saplings, poles, and trees). The results showed that the H index in coffee agroforestry was generally low to moderate (0.57-2.05), with the highest diversity in the tree category. The diversity level of AFM could mimic HT. In terms of carbon stock, HT had the highest stock (82±19 Mg ha-1), while total carbon stock showed a positive relationship with H index in all vegetation stages (R2=0,13-0,57). In contrast, the relationship between soil carbon stock and H index tended to be weak (R2=0,10). This study emphasizes the importance of maintaining total carbon stock through diverse vegetation in agroforestri systems to support climate change mitigation and biodiversity conservation.

Abstract

The largest issue affecting mother and child health in industrialized nations with a population of 1.62 billion is anemia (1). Since using medications and supplements for the treatment of anemia sometimes results in adverse consequences, eating beets is an option (2). the number of anemia cases, as well as to maintain healthy pregnancy and minimize the usage of contemporary treatment. From planning to the outcomes, the phases of the research process are executed in compliance with the established research flow diagram. There are thirty pregnant women at the Deby Midwifery Clinic that make up the study's sample. A pre-post experimental design was used for the study, with 15 participants receiving juice and another 15 serving as the control group. Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating an acceleration, according to the statistical analysis of the paired t test data in the above table, which shows a significance value (ρ) of 0.000 < (0.05). lessen anemia following beetroot juice use.
