Abstract

This study aims to determine the location of false beliefs that most often occur in students in statistics material and to determine the percentage of students' misconception level in statistics material based on its aspects. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with sampling using purposive sampling technique. The subjects of this study were students of class X-2 SMA Negeri 1 Grati, Pasuruan Regency. The instrument used is a three-tier diagnostic test question consisting of 5 items that have been validated by experts. The results of this study indicate that students' misconceptions about statistics material are generally experiencing moderate misconceptions. In the data obtained, as many as 15% show student misconceptions that fall into the category of understanding the concept, 54% show student misconceptions that fall into the category of not understanding the concept, and 31% show student misconceptions. The most common misconception in statistics material is in the misconception aspect of arithmetic at 75%. Meanwhile, the results of other misconceptions show that 8% of students have translation misconceptions, 44% have sign misconceptions, 75% have calculation misconceptions, 69% have strategy misconceptions, and 69% have systematic misconceptions.

Abstract

Abstract This observe examines the impact of character sorts, in particular extroversion and introversion, on numeracy literacy capabilities at SMPN 6 Pasuruan. It involved 32 college students, selecting 6 primarily based on their numeracy literacy ranges (high, medium, low). the usage of a qualitative technique with a descriptive approach, the research implemented a numeracy literacy test and a JTI (Jung's kind Indicator) questionnaire. results showed that the general numeracy literacy changed into at a medium level, with a median rating of 31.7. Of the members, 65.6% were in the medium class, 12.5% within the high class, and 21.nine% in the low class. a few of the students, seventy one.nine% had been introverts and 18.eight% had been extroverts. Extroverted college students, who have been greater active and socially engaged, had a barely higher average rating (35.7) as compared to introverts (32.seventy four). Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya menganalisis kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik dari tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert pada SMPN 6 Pasuruan, yg bertujuan buat menyesuaikan metode pembelajaran supaya lebih efektif. Sampel penelitian mencakup 32 siswa, menggunakan 6 peserta didik dipilih sebagai subjek utama berdasarkan taraf kemampuan literasi numerasi mereka (tinggi, sedang, serta rendah). Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif, menggunakan tes literasi numerasi di materi statistika serta kuesioner JTI (Jung’s Type Indicator). Hasil penelitian membagikan bahwa kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik di SMPN 6 Pasuruan masih berada di kategori sedang, menggunakan nilai homogen-homogen 31,7. sebanyak 21 peserta didik (65,6%) berada di kategori sedang, 4 peserta didik (12,5%) di kategori tinggi, dan 7 siswa (21,9%) pada kategori rendah.asal 32 peserta didik, 71,9% merupakan introvert, serta 18,8% ekstrovert. peserta didik ekstrovert cenderung lebih aktif dan berorientasi sosial, menggunakan rata-rata skor sedikit lebih tinggi (35,7) dibandingkan siswa introvert (32,74). Siswa introvert memberikan kemampuan yang lebih terpusat pada kategori sedang namun mempunyai lebih poly siswa di kategori tinggi.
