Abstract

Abstract

The development of the digital economy encourages MSME actors to adapt to various technological innovations, including the use of digital payment systems. However, the results of initial observations show that some MSME actors still have limited understanding of digital payments and the use of the Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS), and still rely on cash transactions in their business activities. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to increase participants' understanding of digital payment systems, introduce QRIS as a national standard for digital payments, provide an understanding of the benefits and security of QRIS, and encourage the use of digital transactions in supporting the financial transformation of MSMEs. The activity was carried out in the form of an online webinar organized by the Indonesian Institute of Accountants of the Banten Region with the theme "Getting to Know QRIS Closer: Fast, Modern, and Secure Digital Payment Strategies". The implementation method includes participant registration, material delivery, discussion and question and answer, and evaluation of activities. The participants of the activity totaled 33 people consisting of students, MSME actors, and the general public. The material presented included the evolution of payment systems, QRIS standardization, the advantages of QRIS, QRIS transaction mechanisms, types of QRIS, digital transaction security, QRIS and accounting transformation, as well as opportunities to utilize QRIS for MSMEs and the younger generation. The results of the activity showed that participants obtained information about the concept of QRIS, the benefits of digital payments, the security of digital transactions, the implementation of QRIS in business activities, and the use of QRIS in supporting the financial transformation of MSMEs. In addition, participants assessed that the material presented was relevant to current needs, easy to understand, and useful in supporting business management and adaptation to the development of the digital economy. This activity also resulted in a follow-up plan in the form of the dissemination of digital educational materials, assistance in the implementation of QRIS, monitoring the use of digital payments, and holding follow-up webinars. Thus, the webinar program has become an educational tool that supports the improvement of digital payment literacy and understanding of the use of QRIS in supporting the financial transformation of MSMEs in the digital economy era.

The results of Community Service activities show that there is an increase in the understanding and skills of MSMEs in utilizing digital marketing appropriately, planned, and sustainably. Participants stated that after participating in the activity, they learned how to create more engaging content and develop more appropriate promotional strategies to support sustainable sales growth. Evaluation of partner perceptions shows that activities are considered useful and relevant to business needs. Supporting factors for the activity include partner enthusiasm, institutional support, and availability of internet access, while obstacles are time constraints and variations in participants' digital abilities. Overall, this PkM program has succeeded in increasing the digital capacity of MSMEs in accordance with the set goals and has a sustainability plan through follow-up monitoring, periodic mentoring, and module development.

Abstract

The expansion of digital technologies has transformed the Islamic financial landscape and generated new opportunities for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to strengthen operational effectiveness, improve access to financial resources, and enhance business sustainability. Although a wide range of Islamic digital financial services are currently available, their successful utilization largely depends on the preparedness of MSME actors to engage with digital financial systems. This study proposes a Digital Sharia Financial Readiness model by integrating Islamic financial literacy and Islamic fintech literacy as determinants of MSME performance. A quantitative research approach was adopted, and the conceptual model was developed through a synthesis of twenty-eight prior studies focusing on Islamic finance, Islamic fintech, financial inclusion, digital transformation, and MSME development. The proposed framework identifies Islamic financial literacy and Islamic fintech literacy as antecedent variables, Digital Sharia Financial Readiness as a mediating construct, and MSME performance as the outcome variable. The findings indicate that both literacy dimensions contribute to the enhancement of digital readiness, which subsequently supports improved business performance. Furthermore, digital readiness serves as a mechanism through which literacy competencies are translated into organizational outcomes. The study emphasizes the strategic role of digital readiness in facilitating the adoption of Islamic financial technologies and supporting sustainable MSME growth in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the integrative role of financial literacy, financial technology, and digital accounting on the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through a literature review approach. The method used was a qualitative-descriptive literature review by analyzing 30 SCOPUS-indexed international journal articles (Q1, Q2, and Q3) that were relevant to the research topic. The analysis process is carried out through data extraction, thematic grouping, and narrative synthesis to identify patterns of relationships between variables. The results of the study show that financial literacy plays a role as a foundation in financial decision-making and management, financial technology functions as an enabler in improving the efficiency and access to financial services, and digital accounting contributes to improving the quality of financial information and decision-making. These three variables interact with each other and form integrative relationships in influencing the performance of MSMEs. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integrative approach between financial literacy, financial technology, and digital accounting provides a more comprehensive understanding in explaining the performance of MSMEs compared to the partial approach. This research contributes to the development of literature related to MSMEs in the digital era and becomes the basis for further research.

Abstract

This study examines the role of transition financing, renewable energy investment, and climate risk management in influencing the financial performance of energy companies in Indonesia amid the global transition toward a low-carbon economy. A quantitative approach was employed using primary data collected from 75 managers and professionals in the energy sector through a structured questionnaire measured on a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25 through descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that transition financing has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, suggesting that access to sustainable financing mechanisms supports corporate financial stability during the energy transition. Renewable energy investment also shows a significant positive influence, indicating that investment in clean energy technologies enhances operational efficiency and long-term competitiveness. Furthermore, climate risk management significantly affects financial performance, highlighting the importance of identifying and mitigating climate-related risks to maintain corporate financial resilience. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly influence financial performance with an R² value of 0.480, indicating that 48% of the variation in financial performance can be explained by the model. These findings demonstrate that the integration of sustainable financial strategies and environmental risk management practices can improve the financial performance of energy companies, while also contributing empirical evidence to the literature on climate finance and corporate sustainability and offering practical insights for managers, investors, and policymakers in supporting the transition toward sustainable energy systems.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of transaction costs and opportunistic behavior on the sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, with operational efficiency serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving 185 MSME respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire measured on a Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicate that transaction costs and opportunistic behavior have significant negative effects on both operational efficiency and MSME sustainability. Conversely, operational efficiency demonstrates a significant positive effect on sustainability and serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between transaction costs, opportunistic behavior, and MSME sustainability. These findings suggest that high transaction costs and opportunistic practices hinder business performance, while efficient operational management enhances long-term viability. The study contributes to the literature by integrating economic and behavioral perspectives within MSME sustainability research and offers practical implications for policymakers and business practitioners to improve operational performance, reduce inefficiencies, and strengthen the resilience of MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

Financial management of business is a crucial factor in ensuring business continuity and sustainability, particularly for micro and small enterprises that often face limited resources. Financial management involves not only capital planning, cash flow control, expenditure management, and transaction recording, but also requires discipline and courage in conducting supervision to balance business needs with household demands. This study aims to explain the concept of business financial management through three main stages, namely planning, implementation, and control, as well as to analyze the strategic benefits of financial recording and monitoring for business sustainability. The method employed is a literature review and conceptual descriptive analysis based on the theoretical framework of financial management for small businesses. The results indicate that disciplined financial recording provides accurate information about business conditions, prevents bankruptcy, maintains continuity, and supports the improvement of family welfare. Thus, structured financial management plays a pivotal role not only in sustaining business operations but also in building a foundation for healthy, secure, and sustainable business growth.
