Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The electricity customer connection process at PT PLN (Persero) continues to face significant operational challenges, including unintegrated data systems, limited real-time monitoring capabilities, and slow coordination between units. These challenges negatively impact overall service efficiency and electricity sales growth. This study aims to analyze the current customer connection workflow and design an integrated information system application to improve operational effectiveness and service quality. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through direct observation, comprehensive operational document analysis, persona canvas, and Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) to identify business process issues. Diagnostic analysis revealed that severe data fragmentation and the absence of a centralized monitoring platform were the primary root causes of delays. To address these challenges, the Integrated Customer Connection (ICE) application was designed. This system seamlessly integrates the end-to-end workflow, including initial customer inquiries, technical surveys, field connection execution, and real-time operational monitoring through an interactive dashboard. The application design implementation successfully accelerated kWh sales, with a projected volume increase of 1,867,177 kWh by 2025. This achievement represents a 6.24% increase in sales compared to 2024, reaching a total volume of 13,178,583 kWh while drastically reducing the average service duration to 1.38 days. Furthermore, the software offers advanced functional features, including job status tracking, network load analysis, and market potential mapping. The study concluded that user-centric application development effectively increased process transparency, optimized customer connection efficiency, and drove strategic electricity sales growth at PT PLN (Persero).

Abstract

This study examined how entrepreneurial orientation, internal capabilities, and business environment influence MSME operational sustainability through organizational resilience. Using a quantitative, explanatory, cross-sectional survey design, data were collected from 331 owners or managers of traditional weaving MSMEs in Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling to test direct and indirect relationships among the study constructs. The results show that entrepreneurial orientation and internal capabilities did not have significant direct effects on operational sustainability. However, both variables had significant positive effects on organizational resilience, which in turn significantly enhanced operational sustainability. The business environment had the strongest effect in the model, exerting both a significant direct effect on operational sustainability and an indirect effect through organizational resilience. These findings indicate that organizational resilience functions as the key mediating capability through which strategic posture and internal strengths are translated into sustained business operations. The study extends MSME sustainability research by moving beyond direct-effect explanations and demonstrating the importance of resilience as an organizational mechanism. Practically, the findings suggest that resilience-oriented interventions, combined with improvements in external business conditions, are essential for strengthening the viability of culturally embedded and structurally constrained MSMEs in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract

In the current digital era, banking services have rapidly evolved thanks to technological advancements, such as mobile banking, which allows customers to conduct transactions easily and efficiently. Studies show that customer perception and satisfaction levels highly depend on service standards, available features, and user experience when using the service. Studies have shown that how customers feel about a service and how satisfied they are with it relies a lot on the quality of the service, the features it offers, and how easy it is to use. A big part of how well financial services on mobile devices do is how good digital services are, particularly in sharia banking that operates in accordance with Sharia principles and regulations. This research aims to gather systematic literature about the level of quality in mobile banking features provided by sharia-compliant banks. To comprehend the connection between customer experience and the effectiveness of e-services in mobile banking apps, the modified e-services quality model is essential. Finding the elements that affect the quality of e-services and consumer happiness, as well as investigating methods for enhancing digital services in compliance with sharia law, are the main goals of this study. It is anticipated that the findings of this study will offer more profound understandings of how Islamic banks may enhance the quality of their mobile banking services.
