Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the planning, organization, and implementation of curriculum management in improving the quality of student graduates at the Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School Nias. This study employs a qualitative method in conjunction with a descriptive method. However, the collection techniques used interview, observation, and document study techniques, while the researchers referred to the use of data validity standards consisting of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability to strengthen the validity of the data found and the authenticity of the research. Then, what does Hidayatullah Niaster Islamic Boarding School want to achieve in terms of the quality of its graduates, and how will it achieve it through a planning program? Organizing is accomplished through the grouping of student learning, staff, teacher councils, and the distribution of teacher hours that are appropriate for each teacher's abilities.

Abstract

The purposes of this research is to obtain the biography, contributions and progress of Sultan Baharuddin Harahap in South Tapanuli. The research method used is qualitative research with a character study approach. This writing was produced by collecting data obtained by reading references through articles, journals, books, then approaching the family, loyal bodyguards of Sultan Baharuddin Harahap, friends of Sultan Baharuddin Harahap's wife, and heads/managers of educational institutions left behind by the Sultan. Baharuddin Harahap. The results of the research show that Sultan Baharuddin Harahap is a famous king in South Tapanuli Regency who has the title "Daulat Raja Tuantua Patuan Nagaga Najungal". Apart from that, he also plays a role as a religious and traditional figure, preserving the local wisdom of Dalihan Natolu and local culture which had been in suspended animation, then contributed to establishing the Baharuddin Modern Islamic Boarding School in Janji Mauli, and RA Al-Muta'allimin Bagas Godang, Donor of Pani Asuhan, established a tareqat/parsulukan place located at Tolang Jae.

Abstract

Islam's view on multicultural education and its response to diversity in society, especially in educational institutions, aims to ensure that every ethnic group has equal rights. This research aims to explain how Islam views multicultural education. Using a qualitative approach through a literature study, various references from books, journals, and related research are analyzed in depth. Multicultural education emphasizes equality amidst cultural differences. In Islam, differences are seen not as a source of conflict or a measure of one's nobility, but as an opportunity for mutual understanding and respect. Multicultural education is an important element in maintaining unity and social integration in diverse societies by educating about equality, justice, and respect for different races, ethnicities, languages, traditions, and religious beliefs. This education is in line with Islamic values reflected in the Qur'an, which emphasizes the importance of respecting diversity. The Prophet Muhammad and his companions have also applied this principle, as seen in the Medina Charter.

Abstract

Kegiatan eksrakurikuler memiliki fungsi yang sangat penting bagi siswa, terutama untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan berbasis mutu akademik di SMP Darul Muta’allimin Tanah Merah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Sementara subjek penelitian adalah, kepala sekolah, guru pelatih, dan siswa SMP Darul Muta’allimin. Metode pengumpulan data diambil melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Metode penjamin keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi, yaitu triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode, dan triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam melakukan perencanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan berbasis mutu akademik SMP Darul Muta’allimin sebelumnya melakukan rapat dengan menetapkan jenis kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seperti kaligrafi, tahfizh, tilawatil, dan kutubut turats. Untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan berbasis mutu akademik di SMP Darul Muta’allimin dilakukan sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah ditetapkan. Di mana kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan tersebut memberikan manfaat seperti menanamkan atau penguatan nilai keagamaan, terbentuknya keterampilan siswa, dan pemahaman budaya. Dari kegiatan ekstrakurikuler keagamaan berbasis mutu akademik di SMPA Darul Muta’allimin, pihak sekolah tidak hanya mendefinisikan kegiatan tersebut sebagai kegiatan biasa, namun para siswa yang telah dilatih lebih mendalam ditujukan agar dapat mengikuti perlombaan keagamaan seperti MTQ dan pentas PAI Tunas Ramadhan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the process of internalizing multicultural education at Pancabudi Middle School, Medan. This school is known as an A-accredited private educational institution which is committed to producing a generation of excellence, noble character and global insight. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that multicultural education at Pancabudi Middle School is internalized through three main aspects, namely intracurricular, extracurricular and special programs. In the extracurricular aspect, diversity values ​​are integrated into the curriculum through subjects such as Civics and History Education, as well as interactive learning methods. In the extracurricular aspect, students gain direct experience of diversity through arts and culture activities, scouts and social programs. In addition, special programs such as Culture Week and Diversity Day are designed to strengthen appreciation for differences among students. Multicultural education is also applied in everyday life through the creation of an inclusive environment, as well as instilling the values ​​of tolerance and communication ethics. In conclusion, a comprehensive approach in internalizing multicultural education at Pancabudi Medan Middle School has succeeded in creating a learning atmosphere that supports diversity and strengthens student character. In this way, the goals of multicultural education can be achieved as a whole.
