Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui impact charpy akibat pengaruh temperatur pada material Aluminium 20xx dan baja AISI yang merujuk pada standar ASTM A370 V Notch. Metode penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Penelitian eksperimen dipilih bertujuan untuk melakukan eksperimen dengan mengetahui impact dari Aluminium 20xx dan baja AISI yang ditinjau dari variabel variasi temperatur. Hasil pengujian membuktikan perbandingan kedua jenis material, baja AISI memiliki impact lebih tinggi sebesar 2,0 Joule/mm2 dengan temperatur 116, 2°C sedangkan Aluminium 20xx 0,8 Joule/mm2 dengan temperatur 110 °C. Pengaruh transisi terlihat pada kurva pengujian impact yang diperoleh baja AISI memiliki temperatur transisi yang besar lebih tajan sehingga menghasilkan impact yang tinggi dibanding Aluminium 20xx yang datar. Hasil patahan spesimen material baja AISI rendah menghasilkan jenis ulet yang dibuktikan pada permukaan buram dapat menyerap cahaya yang datang serta impact terjadi jeda waktu lambat dan adanya patahan yang berserat. Sedangkan Aluminium 20xx menghasilkan patahan getas dengan dibuktikan permukaan patahan terdapat batas butir yang lebih besar dan halus dengan memantulkan cahaya yang tinggi

Abstract

Energy is currently decreasing due to excessive use of fossil energy in all fields. Issues about global warming, air pollution and the effects of greenhouse gases have also encouraged progress in research on more environmentally friendly sources of electrical energy (Revelation, 2018). Calculation of Measured Discharge To obtain discharge data, direct measurements were carried out at the Air Anak River PLTMH location. The method used to measure discharge is by making stakes on both sides of the river bank. Then tie a rope on both sides of the stake so that the rope stretches from one bank of the river to the other, so that the width of the river can be measured. After obtaining the width of the river, points were made every 25 cm and at each point the flow speed was found using a current meter and the depth was measured. Discussion of the results of the analysis of hydrokinetic energy potential in the Cisadane River can involve various aspects, including the data that has been collected, analysis methods, and the implications in the context of sustainable energy development. The following are the steps that may be involved in discussing the results of the hydrokinetic energy potential analysis in the Cisadane River to obtain a water discharge of around 0.14 liters/minute and obtain a hydropower potential of 2.5 m3/s.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of entrepeneurship interest on work readiness, the effect knowlegde of work and industry on the work readiness, and the effect of entrepeneurship interest and knowlegde of work and industry on work readiness of student class XII machining engineering in SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih. This research is an ex-post facto with quantitative descriptive research type. The population as a whole by 92 students of class XII machining engineering program. The samples used were 48 students. The sampling technique using the technique Probability Sampling. Data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are: The entrepeneurship interest had a positive and significant effect on work readiness with the value 23,9%; the knowlegde of work and Industry had a positive and significant effect on work readiness with a value 90,7%; Entrepeneurship interest and knowlegde of work and industry together have a positive and significant effect on work readiness with a value 91,5%.

Abstract

This paper aims to discuss multiplatform applications in education. Literature review is used to examine several relevant journals published from 2015 to 2019. The method used in this research is literature review analysis which is carried out to describe multiplatform applications as learning media in the world of education. The results can be reported that multi-platform applications, which are currently a trend in the field of education, can be an effective tool to facilitate online learning and support the concept of heutagogy learning for the realization of students who have lifelong learning skills. The findings of this literature review show that the use of multiplatform applications in education can enable the learning process to be easier, more interesting, effective and efficient.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of products in the form of heyzine flipbook-based learning media in the subject of Lathe Machining Engineering class XI at SMK Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Jakarta. This learning media was developed using the R&D (Research and Development) method using a 4D model consisting of define, design, develop, and disseminate. In the process of assessing the feasibility of this learning media, it provides a validation assessment questionnaire instrument to material experts, media experts, and media feasibility tests to students in grade XI of Machining Engineering as respondents. Learning media is validated by experts with a score of 100% for the material aspect, 94% for the media aspect. And for the results of the feasibility trial, the learning media got a score of 91% of the results of the trial of 53 students. From the results of the test, it can be concluded that the heyzine flipbook-based learning media in the Lathe Machining Engineering class XI subject at SMK Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Jakarta is "Very Feasible" to be used for Lathe Machining Engineering learning activities. The focus of this study is at the stage of development and feasibility testing of the developed media only, as for the results of this study, there are several recommendations that can be given, including the following, heyzine flipbook-based learning media can be implemented and utilized optimally in the learning process of Lathe Machining Engineering at SMK Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Jakarta and other schools where there are Lathe Machining Engineering subjects. And heyzine flipbook-based learning media in the subject of Lathe Machining Engineering needs to be further researched such as the effectiveness of heyzine flipbook-based learning media in the subject of Lathe Machining Engineering.

Abstract

This research aims to get an overview of the evaluation results and various obstacles faced in the implementation of machining competency test certification in Vocational High Schools (VHS). The evaluation method of this program is a qualitative research approach that uses the analysis of Techniques for Sequence Preference with Ideal Solution Similarity (TOPSIS). This study uses the CSE-UCLA model in designing program evaluation, which consists of five evaluation components: system assessment, program planning, program implementation, program improvement, and certification. Data collection involved subjects who were researched by filling out questionnaires, including school principals, vice principals for curriculum, deputy principals for industrial relations, deputy principals for facilities and infrastructure, heads of machining programs, workshop heads, machining productive teachers, and competency certification institutions/professional certification institutions in schools. Participants involved in collecting information used survey forms in five Vocational High Schools (VHS) in the Province of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta. In this study, five subjects of State Vocational High Schools were selected The study resulted that the machining competency test certification program has a good level of effectiveness, with certain components assessed as sufficient. Considering the dimension of the system assessment program, the value program planning category needs to be maintained or improved. In the context of program implementation, program improvement, and program certification, efforts are needed to improve the criteria for the better. Therefore, the findings of this study can be considered for the improvement of sustainable certification programs.

Abstract

This research aims to test the level of effectiveness of the application of swansoft simulation software in improving students' psychomotor learning outcomes in the elements of non-conventional machining engineering materials for CNC lathe operation materials at SMKN 4 Tangerang. This study uses a type of quasi-experimental design research method in the form of a noneequivalent control group design. The 54 students of SMKN 4 Tangerang phase F Machining for the 2024/2025 school year were used as research samples taken using the saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study uses a performance test. The data analysis technique in this study used a normality test, a homogeneity test, and a test of the average similarity of students' initial ability, then the final analysis used the t-test and the n-gain test. The results of the study show that: 1) There was no significant difference in students' psychomotor learning outcomes between the experimental class that applied the swansoft simulation software and the control class that applied teaching aids in the form of CNC lathes as a learning medium, in the t-test analysis, it was obtained -t table (-2.007) ≤ t count (-0.1) ≤ t table (2.007); 2) The application of Swansoft CNC Simulation software is quite effective in improving the psychomotor learning outcomes of phase F students of Machining on non-conventional machining engineering elements of CNC lathe operation materials at SMKN 4 Tangerang, in the analysis of the n-gain test, the average n-gain value of the experimental class was obtained of 0.613 or 61.3%.

Abstract

Perubahan pekerjaan dalam beberapa bidang menyebabkan perubahan jenis keterampilan yang dibutuhkan pasar kerja saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelajahi tren lulusan S1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin di pasar kerja melalui metode Content Analysis dengan pendekatan analisis data sekunder dari Job Portal lowongan pekerjaan yang diperoleh dari internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari total 64 data informasi lowongan berbagai jenis pekerjaan untuk kualifikasi lulusan S1 Pendidikan, S1 Pendidikan Teknik, dan S1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin yang paling banyak kualifikasi lulusan yaitu S1 Pendidikan yaitu 90,62%. Dari semua kualifikasi tersebut lulusan dapat bekerja di bidang Learning Development 41,93%, Learning Design 37,09%, Education Staff 12,9%, Machining Engineering Teacher 4,83%, Technical Engineering dan Management Trainee masing-masing 1,61% di sebaran wilayah Indonesia paling banyak di DKI Jakarta dengan gaji rata-rata upah kerja yang didapat yaitu sekitar Rp1.000.000-Rp30.000.000/bulan di informasi Job Portal paling sering ditemukan yaitu Linkedin baik jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan dapat diterima 92.18% kesempatan bekerja di bidang tersebut serta memiliki kemampuan soft skill paling banyak berkomunikasi 42,8% dan keterampilan teknis mengembangkan kurikulum dengan silabus 32,81%. Penelitian ini juga memberikan informasi bagi institusi untuk dapat menyusun kurikulum yang lebih responsif terhadap kebutuhan tren industri pasar kerja bagi lulusan untuk mempersiapkan diri memasuki pasar kerja. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bidang pekerjaan yang selaras dengan ruang lingkup S1 Pendidikan yaitu S1 Pendidikan Teknik maupun S1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin melalui data yang ditemukan.

Abstract

Teaching Factory is a learning program that optimizes the curriculum, resources, and human capital in Vocational High Schools (SMK) of Centers of Excellence. The objectives of this study are: (1) to identify the level of conformity in the implementation of the Teaching Factory program by analyzing the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) at five SMKs in DKI Jakarta; and (2) to formulate recommendations for improving and developing the Teaching Factory program to be more effective and sustainable. This research employed a quantitative method with a CIPP-based evaluation instrument, involving vice principals of curriculum and facilities, teachers, and students as research subjects. The findings reveal that: (1) Context: average score 3.61 out of 4, the curriculum is relatively aligned with industry needs, but the understanding of educational regulations remains low due to limited dissemination of government policies to teachers and school management; (2) Input: average score 3.55, facilities and infrastructure are inadequate due to limited budgets and lack of regular equipment calibration, which reduces the quality of marketable products and human resources, although teachers’ pedagogical competence (avg. 3.8) is already good; (3) Process: average score 3.59, learning methods are less innovative as teachers still rely on lectures and employ ineffective assessment instruments, resulting in low collaboration among students and suboptimal graduate employability; (4) Product: average score 3.26, the quality of marketable products falls below industry standards due to weak school quality control systems and the underutilization of project-based assessment. These findings can serve as a basis for strategies and curriculum development that better prepare students for the labor market and help reduce the unemployment rate among SMK graduates.

Abstract

In Indonesia, only 48% of vocational teachers demonstrate limited readiness to integrate Artificial Intelligence into learning. Addressing this issue requires a reliable instrument to evaluate prospective teachers' preparedness. This study developed and validated an instrument based on the Technology Acceptance Model to assess the digital competencies of Mechanical Engineering pre-service teachers in Indonesian vocational education. The research quantitatively evaluated four constructs: Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Behavioral Intention, and Self-Efficacy. Involving 100 respondents from a community service program, the development followed three stages: preparation, expert content validation using Aiken’s V, and construct validation via Exploratory Factor Analysis. Results confirmed unidimensional structures for all constructs. Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use showed strong validity with high eigenvalues (4.984 and 5.063) and explained variance (49.8% and 50.6%). The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin measure confirmed sampling adequacy (0.833–0.909). Aiken’s V analysis indicated high content (0.83), construct (0.81), and linguistic validity (0.85). Key findings highlight deficiencies in Artificial Intelligence tool proficiency, emphasizing the need for curriculum alignment with Industry 4.0 demands. This study provides a validated tool to guide teacher training and policy, effectively addressing the digital divide in vocational education and bridging a critical gap between theory and practice.
