Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of the project based learning (PjBL) model on student learning outcomes and on student activities on the circulatory system material in class VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. The research data collection technique uses learning outcome tests and student activity questionnaires. In this study the sample used was 2 classes, namely class VIII-1 as an experimental class using the project based learning model and class VIII-3 as a control class with a total of 32 students. In student learning outcomes there was an increase in student pretest and posttest scores. In the control class the average pretest score was 41.6 and posttest 53.6. while in the experimental class the average pretest score was 38.1 and posttest 75.5. Evidenced by the data from the Independent Sample T-Test hypothesis test with a 2-tailed significant value of 0.000. The result of 0.000> 0.05 so there is an influence on the PjBL learning model that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The average student activity in the experimental class was 94.5%, categorized as very active. Therefore, it can be concluded that the project-based learning model has an effect on student learning outcomes and activity. Keyword: Learning Model, Project based Learning, Learning Outcomes, Activities Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model project based learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa dan terhadap aktivitas siswa pada materi sistem peredaran darah di kelas VIII UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan angket aktivitas siswa. Pada penelitian ini sampel yang digunakan menggunakan 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning dan kelas VIII-3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 32 siswa. Pada hasil belajar siswa terdapat peningkatan pada nilai pretest dan posttest siswa. Pada kelas kontrol rata-rata nilai pretest yaitu 41,6 dan posttest 53,6. sementara pada kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata pada pretest 38,1 dan posttest 75,5. Dibuktikan dari data hasil uji hipotesis Independent Sample T-Test dengan hasil nilai signifikan 2-tailed nya adalah 0,000. Hasil 0,000 > 0,05 sehingga terdapat pengaruh pada model pembelajaran PjBL bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Rata-rata aktivitas siswa pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 94,5% dengan kategori sangat aktif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran, Project based Learning, Hasil Belajar, Aktivitas

Abstract

Abstract: Mobile learning is a study device for that utilizes technology and mobile gadget . The term M-Learning refers to the utilization of portable or handheld devices. Based on the findings from observations at SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar, information on the use of media was obtained that was still lacking, making students less likely to capture learning in class, thus making student learning outcomes decrease. There are around 165 students who graduated or completed 38.14% and there are 267 people who did not complete or 61.86% of students who did the objective of this study is to evaluate thr viability of developing mobile learning applications on cell organelle structure materials for learning outcomes. To identify the students reactions to the use of mobile learning application development on cell organelle structure material and to determine student learning achievements following implementing the development of mobile learning applications to improve learning outcomes in cell organelle structure material. This (R&D) methods with the use ADDIE model. The findings from the feasibility assessment of the mobile learning application by expert validators were obtained on average 95%, which means that the mobile learning application is very appropriate for implementation in the learning process in the classroom. The learning outcomes of students who use mobile learning applications have increased. Student responses to mobile learning applications received a percentage of 91% with the very good category.Keyword: Mobile learning, cell organelle structure, developmentAbstrak: Mobile learning merupakan sebuah perangkat pembelajaran yang menggunakan teknologi dan perangkat mobile. Kata M-Learning maupun mengacu pada pemakaian perangkat genggam. Dari perolehan pengamatan di SMA Negeri 1 Pematangsiantar mendapat keterangan bahwa penggunaan media yang masih kurang sehingga membuat para peserta didik kurang dalam menangkap pembelajaran dikelas sehingga membuat hasil belajar peserta didik menurun. Siswa yang lulus atau tuntas sekitar 165 orang atau 38,14 % dan terdapat 267 orang yang tidak tuntas atau 61,86 % peserta didik yang tidak tuntas. Studi ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat kelayakan pengembangan aplikasi mobile learning pada materi struktur organel sel terhadap hasil belajar. Untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap penggunaan pengembangan aplikasi mobile learning pada materi struktur organel sel serta untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa setelah menerapkan pengembangan aplikasi mobile learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar pada materi struktur organel sel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode (R&D) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Hasil uji kelayakan aplikasi mobile learning oleh validator ahli diperoleh rata-rata 95% yang berarti aplikasi mobile learning sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan aplikasi mobile learning mengalami peningkatan. respon siswa terhadap aplikasi mobile learning mendapat persentase 91 % dengan kategori sangat baik.Kata kunci: Mobile learning, struktur organel sel, pengembangan

Abstract

Abstract: The role of technology in learning in schools is very important and diverse. Learning media that are not varied makes students bored in following the learning, so the learning objectives cannot be conveyed properly to students. Through interview data and observations of researchers through science teachers at SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar, data from the results of the mid-term exams of students were obtained that 43.2% of students completed while 56.8% of students did not complete so from this data it was found that many students did not complete science learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using wordwall game learning media based on the nearpod application and to determine students' responses to wordwall game learning media based on the nearpod application. The researcher used (Research and Development (R&D) as the type of research and used the ADDIE model. The results of the feasibility test of the nearpod application-based wordwall game media based on 4 feasibility tests by expert validators obtained an overall percentage of 81.6% very feasible. The achievement of students in classes that use nearpod application-based wordwall game teaching materials has a high value compared to those who do not use nearpod application-based wordwall game media. The student response to the nearpod application-based wordwall game media as a learning medium obtained a percentage of 83.3%% with a good category. Media pembelajaran yang tidak bervariasi membuat siswa menjadi jenuh dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, maka tujuan pembelajaranya tidak dapat tersampaikan dengan baik kepada siswa. Melalui data wawancara serta pengamatan peneliti melalugu pendidik IPA di SMP Negeri 12 Pematangsiantar diperoleh data hasil UTS siswa bahwasanya siswa yang tuntas 43,2% sedangkan siswa yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 56,8% jadi dari data ini didapatkan banyak siswa yang tidak tuntas pada pembelajaran IPA. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran game wordwall berbasis apliksi nearpod serta mengetahui respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran game wordwall berbasis apliksi nearpod. Peneliti memakai (Research and Development (R&D) sebagai jenis penelitiannya serta memakai model ADDIE. Hasil uji kelayakan media game wordwall berbasis aplikasi nearpod berdasarkan 4 uji kelayakan oleh para validator ahli memperoleh hasil persentase keseluruhan 81,6% sangat layak. Pencapaian peserta didik di kelas yang memakai bahan ajar game wordwall berbasis apliksi nearpod memiliki nilai yang tinggi dibandingkan yang tidak memakai media game wordwall berbasis apliksi nearpod. Adapun tangapan siswa terhadap media game wordwall berbasis apliksi nearpod sebagai media pembelajaran diperoleh persentase 83,3%% dengan kategori baik.Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Game Wordwall, Nearpod

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kinerja dosen berdasarkan persepsi mahasiswa pada Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar dengan mengadaptasi lima dimensi kualitas layanan (SERVQUAL), yaitu reliability, assurance, responsiveness, empathy, dan tangibles. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain survei, melibatkan 42 mahasiswa sebagai responden yang dipilih dari kelompok mahasiswa yang telah mengikuti perkuliahan dengan dosen-dosen yang dinilai; data dikumpulkan menggunakan angket tertutup skala Likert lima poin yang memuat item-item kinerja dosen yang telah dipetakan ke dalam lima dimensi SERVQUAL. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui perhitungan rata-rata (mean) dan persentase tiap dimensi, kemudian diturunkan menjadi Respondent Achievement Level (RAL) dan Customer/Student Satisfaction Index (CSI) untuk menggambarkan tingkat pencapaian dan kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap kinerja dosen pada masing-masing dimensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh dimensi SERVQUAL berada pada kategori kepuasan tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, dengan nilai mean di atas 4,0 (skala 1–5) dan CSI di atas 85% untuk semua dimensi; reliability memiliki CSI tertinggi (≈90,6%), diikuti assurance dan empathy (≈88%), responsiveness (≈87,2%), dan tangibles (≈86%). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa keandalan dosen dalam menyiapkan dan melaksanakan perkuliahan serta jaminan mutu akademik (penguasaan materi dan keadilan evaluasi) merupakan kekuatan utama persepsi mahasiswa, sementara daya tanggap, empati, dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran juga dipersepsikan sangat baik namun tetap menyimpan ruang untuk perbaikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar program studi mempertahankan praktik pengajaran yang telah dinilai sangat baik, sekaligus memperkuat kebijakan dan program pengembangan dosen pada aspek disiplin waktu, intensitas komunikasi dan bimbingan akademik, serta optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran, sehingga kualitas layanan akademik dan kepuasan mahasiswa dapat terus ditingkatkan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze lecturers’ performance based on students’ perceptions in the English Education Study Program at Universitas HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar by adapting five service quality dimensions (SERVQUAL), namely reliability, assurance, responsiveness, empathy, and tangibles. A quantitative approach with a survey design was employed, involving 42 students selected from those who had attended courses taught by the lecturers under evaluation; data were collected using a closed-ended questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale consisting of lecturer performance items mapped onto the five SERVQUAL dimensions. The data were analyzed descriptively by calculating the mean and percentage for each dimension, which were then converted into the Respondent Achievement Level (RAL) and the Customer/Student Satisfaction Index (CSI) to describe students’ performance achievement and satisfaction levels for each dimension.

Abstract

Abstract: Media suitability, student responses, and learning outcomes are the objectives of this scientific study. The background of the study was based on the decline in learning outcomes for the material. It was found that 33.8% of students reached the Minimum Completion (KKM), and the implementation of the teaching and learning process was still conventional. Development research is a type of development method with the ADDIE approach which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation The research subjects were students of grades VIII-2 (experimental class) and VIII-3 (control class) who had passed the sample selection process by random sampling. The research instruments included non-tests and tests (pretest and posttest). Data identification used media feasibility tests, student response questionnaires, and final scores as non-parametric statistical tests as answers to temporary decisions. The research results proved that the Canva-based Baamboozle teaching material was said to be very suitable for use based on the assessment decisions of material experts and media experts. Most students gave positive responses after implementing the media in the classroom, indicating a reciprocal response and involving learning participation. This resulted in differences in the experimental class that were not found in the control class. The final decision was based on the Mann-Whitney test results <0.000. Therefore, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected.  Keywords: Baamboozle, Canva, animal cells, plant cells Abstrak: Kelayakan media, respon siswa, dan nilai belajar adalah tujuan dari kajian ilmiah ini. Latar belakang penelitian berlandaskan pada menurunya nilai hasil belajar terhadap materi tersebut. Diketahui 33,8% siswa mencapai KKM, serta penerapan proses belajar mengajar masih konvensional. Penelitian pengembangan adalah jenis metode pengembangan dengan pendekatan ADDIE yang mencakup tahap analisis, desain, pengembangan, penerapan, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-2 (kelas eksperimen) dan VIII-3 (kelas control)  yang sudah melewati proses pemilihan sample secara random sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi non-tes dan tes (pretest dan posttest). Pengidentifikasian data memakai uji kelayakan media, angket respon siswa, serta nilai akhir sebagai uji statistik non-parametrik sebagai jawaban keputusan sementara. Hasil riset membuktikan jika bahan ajar Baamboozle berbasis Canva disebutkan sangat layak dipergunakan berdasarkan keputusan penilaian validador ahli. Kebanyakan respon positif diberikan siswa setelah penerapan media di dalam kelas yang,menandakan adanya respon timbal balik  serta melibatkan partisipasi belajar. Hal ini menimbulkan adanya perbedaan kelas eksperimen yang tidak dimiliki kelas kontrol. Keputusan akhir diperoleh berlandaskan hasil uji Mann-Whitney <0,000. Abstract

Abstract: In order or by improve students' learning outcomes on animal as well as plant cell material in class VIII, this study intends to develop a science learning media based on the TikTok application. It also seeks to ascertain the viability of creating a video for TikTok-based in order to improve students learning outcomes on animal and plant cell material in class VIII. Finally, it seeks to ascertain how students react to the creation of TikTok- materials for improve students' learning outcomes on animal and plant cell material in class VIII. Low student learning results and a dearth of use of engaging, technology-based learning materials that are pertinent to students' digital habits form the basis of this study. The method used (R&D) with the ADDIE. The results of the study indicate TikTok-based learning media meets the feasibility criteria with a "very feasible" category based on expert assessment. The results of the feasibility test by material and media experts showed an average percentage of 81%, categorized as very feasible. Student responses to this media were in the very good category with a percentage of 83%. The experimental class outperformed the control class in terms of learning outcomes as determined by the pre-test as well as post-test. The Mann- Whitney test yielded an Asymp. Sigifikan. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Keyword: tiktok ; animal ; plant ; cells.Abstrak: Tujuan riset merupakan demi mengembangkan media pembelajaran IPA yang didasarkan pada aplikasi TikTok dalam memajukan pemahaman siswa tentang materi sel hewan serta sel tumbuhan pada kelas VIII, untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif penggunaan video yang didasarkan pada TikTok untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang materi sel hewan serta sel tumbuhan, dan dalam mengetahui reaksi siswa terhadap pengembang. Selain kurangnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang menarik dan terkait dengan kebiasaan digital siswa, hasil belajar siswa rendah, yang merupakan latar belakang penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan adalah (R&D) pada model ADDIE. Hasil riset memperlihatkan bahwa media pembelajaran berlandaskan TikTok memenuhi kriteria kelayakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli dan memasukkan pilihan sangat layak. Uji kelayakan ahli materi dan media menunjukkan rata-rata 81% persentase berada dalam kategori "sangat layak". Respon peserta didik pada media tersebut ada pada kategori sangat baik dengan persentase 83%. Analisis dampak belajar melalui pre-test serta post-test membuktikan adanya peningkatan signifikan untuk kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol, dengan uji Mann-Whitney menghasilkan nilai Asymp. Sigifikan. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, yang mempunyai defenisi Ho ditolak serta Ha diterima. Abstract

The Community Service (PKM) Teaching Practice Activity as an Effort to Improve Skills and Experience aims to improve teachers' skills and understanding in compiling scientific papers according to academic principles. This activity is designed to provide the knowledge and skills needed by teachers in the process of writing scientific papers, which is an important aspect in the development of educator professionalism. PPL (Field Experience Practice) is a method of equipping educational students while preparing them to become professional educational personnel. On this occasion I chose to do field experience practice at SMA Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar which is located at Jl.Singosari No.03 Kel.Bantan, West Siantar, Pematang Siantar. and has been approved by the UHN PPL coordinator to host PPL in 2025. The purpose of the PPL program is to provide opportunities for students to learn about experiencing and living in schools or learning problems related to institutions: improving students' ability to apply knowledge and Field Experience Practice (PPL) which will be completed in February 2025 includes the implementation of guided PPL 1 time. Although there are several challenges, the Field Experience Practice (PPL) Activities at SMA Swasta Teladan Pematangsiantar went smoothly. With the support and direction from various parties, especially the school itself, we were able to overcome the challenges we faced and greatly helped the smooth implementation of the PPL program at the school.
