Abstract

Abstract : Zakat is the financial instrument of the state. Zakat management in Indonesia is regulated by Act No. 23/2011 which is a public policy product. The policy of asset management is expected to improve the well-being of the people and reduce poverty. The purpose of this research is to find out and identify the unoptimal causes of the Zakat Lifting Policy in Lingga District. Furthermore, this research wants to find out the supportive and inhibitory factors. The theories used are the theory of public administration, public policy, and the concept of zakat. The method used is the method of qualitative research. Data collection techniques, i.e. using observation, interview and documentation techniques. This research found that the policy of management of professional zakat is not optimal because of the still low confidence of musiaki in BAZNAS, still minimal socialization, not available system of reduction of professional Zakat directly. However, this research also found some supportive factors that can optimize the collection of professional talents in Lingga district, namely; the presence of the Regional Regulations and the Bupati Regulations, the formation of the UPZ in each OPD, and the existence of an audit of the Shariah every year, as well as the presences of programmes that touch eight asnaf. This study suggests the need for additional sanctions in the Perda and Perbup regarding Zakat, the need to prepare a system of cut-off zakat directly, to the petitioner to pay additional benefits of employee income on time every beginning of the month, increase the BAZNAS operational budget, as well as increase the power of zakat in the islands. Keywords : baznas; professional zakat; public policy; civil apparatus.

Abstract

One of the most contentious issues in international commerce is anti-dumping (AD). And among the controversies of this AD rule, there is also what is considered in “conflict” with business competition law, both in terms of the purpose of the regulations and from the rules themselves. One of them is related to predatory pricing. Therefore, this study aims to conduct further analysis regarding the possibility of predatory pricing rules in substituting anti-dumping regulations in Indonesia. Based on these aims, this study employs a normative method with a statutory and conceptual approach. This study then reveals that dumping can be classified as a predatory pricing practice in terms of indications and impacts. However, the legal consequences and consequences of the two are different. So it would be impossible if anti-dumping arrangements were substituted with predatory pricing. Nevertheless, this research still supports that anti-dumping regulations are included in the regulation or law prohibiting unfair business competition and monopolistic practices because the practice of dumping itself is an unfair business competition practice.

Abstract

Intense competition exists amid the rapid growth of universities worldwide and in Indonesia. Often, private higher education is the victim of defeat from competition. Because competitive pressures such as these will undoubtedly lead to reduced revenues, universities are encouraged to increase their student numbers to increase revenues. According to the theory of planned behavior, the intention to carry out certain actions is an essential prerequisite for the strategy’s success. This research examines the factors influencing students to enroll in private, Muhammadiyah contexts, higher education institutions. By involving 572 respondents and using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) analysis, this research shows that among the factors that influence students’ intention in enrolling in Muhammadiyah Higher Education Institutions are higher education institution image and student characteristics, where both have a positive and significant influence with values (β=0.409; p-value=0.000) and (β=0.461; p-value=0.001).

Abstract

Accounting information systems (AISs) have become indispensable enterprise management tools, serving as a vital resource for promoting administrative and financial processes, facilitating decision-making, and improving overall performance. Apart from business, AISs can also be developed as zakat for sharia. In this regard, AIS plays a role in calculating zakat, making zakat payment decisions, and assisting managers in zakat allocation. This function is very beneficial for business actors, especially MSME actors. The existence of AISs can make it easier for MSMEs to manage their revenue and zakat. So, MSMEs need to be able to adopt AISs. Unfortunately, research regarding the acceptability of AIS adoption for MSMEs has not yet been conducted. Therefore, this research examines the factors of acceptance of AISs by e-commerce actors from MSMEs. By using the elements in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), such as Perceived ease of use (PEU) and perceived usefulness (PU) through quantitative methods and Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) analysis, the results of data analysis in this study show that the influence of PEU and PU on IUAISs is positive and significant. This shows that IUAISs are influenced by two main variables from TAM (PEU and PU). Based on the results, this study implies that MSMEs that successfully adopt Accounting Information Systems (AISs) for revenue and zakat management can improve their administrative and financial efficiency, emphasizing the importance of understanding the factors influencing AIS acceptance among MSMEs.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to examine and predict the factors influencing students' entrepreneurial interest by referring to perceptions of entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Through quantitative methods with a cross-sectional approach, this research involving 256 respondents resulted in students' entrepreneurial intention because they were influenced by entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial self-efficacy. Even though the influence of entrepreneurial self-efficacy is higher than that of entrepreneurship education, it cannot be underestimated because apart from self-efficacy, entrepreneurship education also has a positive and significant influence on students' entrepreneurial intentions. From these results, the proposal put forward in this research is that universities must be able to improve entrepreneurship education and student self-efficacy to become entrepreneurs. Recommendations for further research are also recommended in this study.

Abstract

Indonesia, known for its agriculture, has not fully utilized its natural resources and human capital, leading to a decline in agricultural land and poor welfare for farmers. This has resulted in a lack of interest in farming among the younger generation. Islam offers solutions through contracts like muzaro'ah, musaqah, and salam, which can improve farmers' welfare in Indonesia. A qualitative research study focused on the Agricultural Bank of Sudan, a government-owned bank with over 60 years of experience in agricultural financing. The bank adheres to Sharia principles and offers facilities like storage warehouses and financing options such as murabahah, bai taqsith, mudhorobah, salam, muqowalah, and qardhul hasan to support farmers and the microfinance sector. The bank also requires guarantees from customers and conducts feasibility studies to manage risks associated with agricultural financing. To advance Indonesia's agricultural sector, it is suggested to establish a specialized agricultural financial institution or adopt existing contracts used by agricultural banks globally in Islamic financial institutions. This can help improve farmers' prosperity and make farming a more attractive and sustainable occupation. By implementing these strategies, Indonesia can enhance its agricultural sector and uplift the welfare of farmers who play a crucial role in the country's economy.
