Abstract

The younger generation is the generation that will bring change to a country. The ethics and morals of the younger generation need to be considered because they will become an example for future generations. Ethical and moral teachings need to be taught from an early age by parents, teachers and the surrounding community. In Hinduism, ethical and moral teachings are associated with Susila, Susila is good behavior carried out by humans. This teaches about the values regarding the good and bad actions that are done by someone in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to find out what teachings from Tri Kaya Parisudha are used as the basis of ethics and morals for the younger generation. The method used is qualitative method with literature study. The results of this study are that Tri Kaya Parisudha is used as the basis for the application of ethical teachings or Susila to be applied by the younger generation so that they are able to give birth to generations who have good morals and ethics in the surrounding community. The parts of Tri Kaya Parisudha's teachings are Manacika which means good thinking, Wacika which means saying good and right things and Kayika which means doing good which refers to the view of truth (dharma).

Abstract

The role of teachers in education increases interest in learning which includes efforts to create a learning environment that inspires students to enjoy learning. Interested learning is self-directed, including enthusiasm, seriousness, concentration, and strategies to achieve goals. Educators need to improve the quality of learning in the classroom, the quality of learning in the classroom can be improved in various ways, so that students feel comfortable. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method to describe and analyze in detail the role of teachers in developing students' interest in learning. The results of this research are also based on observations made by researchers at SDN 26 Ampenan. To increase the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of learning so that it meets expectations, in the learning process teachers are encouraged to carry out various innovations such as by creating learning media, especially in subjects that are considered difficult, students will be more interested in achieving their academic potential effectively maximum. Abstract

This journal discusses the role and challenges faced by teachers in improving the quality of education in the digital era. Education is recognized as the key to achieving a better life, where teacher competence is a crucial factor in achieving learning goals. With the development of information technology, teachers are required to have digital pedagogical skills to utilize technology in the teaching process. This research uses a qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation to explore how teachers face these challenges. The research results show that teacher professionalism must continue to be improved in order to adapt to curriculum changes and technological developments. The challenges faced include the need to update skills, face scientific advances, and act as a facilitator and motivator. The proposed solutions include empowering teachers in the use of technology and increasing abilities in using modern learning tools. This journal emphasizes the importance of human resource readiness and supporting facilities and infrastructure to achieve effective technology-based education.   Keywords: Teacher Professionals, Challenges, Educational Technology

Abstract

Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) individu ini dilaksanakan di Dusun Karang Mejeti dengan tujuan utama meningkatkan kreativitas sisya pasraman melalui kegiatan daur ulang dan kerajinan tangan berbasis lingkungan. Fokus pengabdian diarahkan pada pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal, seperti botol plastik bekas, manik-manik, dan dedaunan, untuk menghasilkan produk bernilai estetika, edukatif, dan ekonomis. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan menanamkan kesadaran lingkungan dan membentuk jiwa kewirausahaan sejak dini. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, meliputi observasi, dokumentasi, dan praktik langsung. Program kerja terdiri dari tiga kegiatan utama: pembuatan celengan dari botol bekas, gelang manik-manik, dan ecoprint menggunakan teknik pounding dan kukus. Setiap kegiatan dirancang untuk mendorong keterlibatan aktif sisya, meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, serta mengasah kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan inovatif. Pemberian reward kepada peserta terbaik menjadi strategi motivasional yang efektif dalam meningkatkan semangat dan kualitas hasil karya. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa sisya pasraman mampu mengolah bahan sederhana menjadi produk yang menarik dan bernilai jual. Kegiatan ecoprint secara khusus memberikan pengalaman baru dalam memanfaatkan tanaman lokal sebagai pewarna alami, sekaligus memperkenalkan konsep ekonomi hijau yang berkelanjutan. Secara keseluruhan, program ini berhasil membentuk karakter sisya yang kreatif, mandiri, dan peduli lingkungan, serta memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan ekonomi kreatif di tingkat lokal.

Abstract

Multigrade teaching in the context of Hindu non-formal education in pasraman poses its own pedagogical challenges for acaryas, especially in managing students with diverse age levels and abilities in a single class. Studies on multigrade learning practices in Hindu religious education institutions are still relatively limited, especially in the context of pasraman in the West Lombok region. Therefore, this study aims to examine and analyse the multigrade learning practices applied by acaryas in pasramans in West Lombok Regency. This study uses a qualitative, narrative-descriptive approach to examine multigrade learning in pasraman in depth. Research data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is analysed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and the coding and categorisation process to identify research themes. The results of the study show that learning planning in pasraman tends to be flexible and simple, even in some cases without formal learning administration. This condition requires students to rely on pedagogical intuition to adjust the material, methods, and learning difficulty to the diverse student population. In learning practice, acarya utilises various methods, such as lectures, dharmatula discussions, peer tutors, the Dharma Gita, hands-on practice, and educational games. These findings show that the success of multigrade learning in pasraman is greatly influenced by acarya professionals’ ability to improvise in managing learning dynamics.

Abstract

Saṁskṛta Bālakendram has the potential to serve as an excellent, child-friendly, and integrated educational model within non-formal pasraman education in Lombok. However, its sustainability has faced various challenges, eventually leading to the gradual discontinuation of its implementation. This study aims to analyze the program in realizing an excellent, child-friendly, and integrated educational model. A qualitative method was applied, employing non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and document studies as data collection techniques. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that this program offers a creative, flexible, enjoyable, and contextual learning model aligned with the characteristics of children. The use of songs, mantras, and language games supports learning that meets students’ needs for an engaging and informal atmosphere. However, the implementation still relies on a single teacher, lacks independent integration with the pasraman, and is hindered by low community awareness, limited parental support, and unstable student attendance. Program sustainability is also challenged by the limited availability of teachers, the absence of a standardized curriculum, and minimal budget allocation. This research emphasizes the importance of institutional integration, a flexible yet structured curriculum, and a play-based learning approach in non-formal pasraman education.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang membosankran merupakan salah satu penyebab rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kontribbusi penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran deep learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu dan Budi Pekerti di SMA Negeri 6 Mataram. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan Kuantitatif Asosiatif dan metode Ex-Post Facto. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data berbantuan SPSS 25.0 dilakukan untuk melakukan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial yang meliputi uji prasyarat yaitu normalitas dan uji linearitas dan uji hipotesis. Populasi penelitian merupakan seluruh siswa Hindu kelas XII. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu kelas XII1-XII11 sejumlah 113 siswa. Hasil analisis data: nilai mean (rata-rata) untuk penerapan deep learning yaitu 116,11 pada kategori baik pada rentangan nilai range grade 92,5-120,25. Sedangkan hasil analisis nilai mean motivasi belajar siswa yaitu 79,55 pada kategori baik dalam rentangan nilai range grade 62,5-81,25. Hasil uji Spearman Rank menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan signifikan antara deep learning dan motivasi belajar. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,575 menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat dan bersifat positif (searah). Dengan demikian, Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa deep learning memiliki hubungan yang kuat dan searah dengan motivasi belajar.
