Abstract

Oral cancer or oral cavity cancer is cancer that attacks the epithelial tissue of the oral mucosa. Cancer is a disease with a high mortality rate. So, it is very important to be able to provide information to the public about oral cancer. One way to help diagnose disease is to use an expert system. In this study, an expert system application was developed to diagnose oral cancer based on symptoms and produce a diagnosis and treatment solution. The expert system developed using the certainty factor algorithm (CF). Where is able to overcome uncertainty by providing a value level of trust from experts and users. From the results of the accuracy test, it shows a value of 87%, so the system can function properly.

Abstract

Pada tingkat perguruan tinggi, pencapaian kelulusan tepat waktu adalah indikator kunci dari keberhasilan mahasiswa. Namun, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berpotensi memengaruhi kelulusan mahasiswa merupakan tantangan yang kompleks. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem prediksi tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa dengan menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes. Langkah-langkah penelitian mencakup pengumpulan data dari dataset Kaggle, pembersihan data untuk menangani nilai yang hilang atau tidak relevan, transformasi data untuk mempersiapkannya untuk analisis, dan penerapan metode Naïve Bayes sebagai model prediktif. Variabel yang digunakan dalam analisis meliputi jenis kelamin, status mahasiswa, usia, nilai Indeks Prestasi Semester (IPS), nilai Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK), dan status kelulusan. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa model prediksi mencapai akurasi sebesar 89%, dengan presisi sekitar 88% untuk kelas 0 dan 89% untuk kelas 1. Selain itu, recall mencapai sekitar 85% untuk kelas 0 dan 91% untuk kelas 1. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas prediksi tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa, sehingga institusi pendidikan dapat mengambil tindakan preventif yang lebih tepat untuk mendukung keberhasilan akademis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi informasi pada saat ini berkembang sangat pesat dan memberikan dampak yang signifikan salah satu bagi akutansi. Laporan Laba/Rugi merupakan bagian periode akuntansi dari laporan keuangan perusahaan yang merinci komponen pendapatan dan pengeluaran bisnis untuk menghasilkan laba atau rugi bersih dimana itu sangat penting bagi perkembangan bisnis. Salah satunya ShuShu merupakan kedai minuman bergaya jepang dimana gerai pertama berdiri tahun 2018 dan berada di AEON MALL BSD, Tangerang Selatan. Dalam pembuatan laporan laba/rugi pada kedai ini sudah menggunakan excel sehingga kemungkinan terjadi eror sangat memungkinkan dan pengelolaan data yang rumit karena ukuran file yang besar. Dalam menyelasaikan masalah tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang suatu sistem informasi laporan laba/rugi. Dalam perancangan pada tingkat menalisis sistem laporan laba/rugi berbasis website. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan metode analisis SIPOC (Supplier, Input, Process, Output, Costumer) untuk mengetahui permsalahan yang terjadi pada sistem informasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk perancangan sistem informasi laporan laba/rugi ini adalah UML (Unified Modeling Language). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem informasi laporan laba/rugi yang dapat mempermudah dalam pencatatan dan pembuatan laporan laba/rugi guna menghemat waktu. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem informasi informasi ini perusahaan bisa dengan cepat dan mudah dalam pembuatan laporan laba/rugi.

Abstract

Kedai Wildan is  a  restaurant that is  often visited. Not  a  few restaurants are overwhelmed to serve customers when it's busy. Customers also feel uncomfortable if the service in the wildan stall is not optimal. One of the problems is the menu ordering system which still uses the manual method and customers must come to the location to be able to order the existing menu. This was considered ineffective and inefficient considering the limited number of employees which was disproportionate to the hectic number of visitors who came. So we need a system that can make it easier to  order menus at  Kedai Wildan. Therefore, a  website-based food  and beverage menu ordering system was created to make it easier for customers and employees. The method used is the data collection method which consists of the observation method, the interview method, the literature study method, and includes the analysis method using the PIECES method, the system development method using the extreme programming method, and the design is carried out using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method. To test the system using Black Box Testing, namely the login process, managing menu data, and viewing order invoices. With this menu ordering information.

Abstract

The building materials retail industry involves various operational activities that require employees to perform tasks with different levels of complexity. Employee performance evaluation is often conducted manually, which may lead to subjective assessments and difficulties in continuous performance monitoring. Therefore, a system that supports objective and structured task evaluation is required. This study aims to design and develop an E-Task Evaluation system by implementing the Rating Scale method in the building materials retail industry. The Rating Scale method is applied to provide quantitative performance assessments based on predefined indicators. The research stages include system requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. The results indicate that the developed E-Task Evaluation system is able to support employee performance evaluation in a more objective, efficient, and well-documented manner. In addition, the system facilitates management in monitoring employee performance and supporting managerial decision-making. Thus, the implementation of the Rating Scale method in an E-Task Evaluation system can be considered an effective solution to improve the quality of employee performance evaluation in the building materials retail industry. Keywords: E-Task Evaluation, Rating Scale Method, Employee Performance Evaluation, Building Materials Retail Industry, Information System

Abstract

Efficient and well-organized management of clean water distribution is a crucial factor in supporting public health and community welfare. However, in practice, the management process in several regions is still carried out manually, which often leads to data recording errors, delays in information delivery, and difficulties in reporting. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a web-based information system for managing clean water distribution. The system was developed using the Prototype method and implemented with PHP (Laravel) as the main framework, along with MySQL, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap technologies. The result of this study is an information system capable of facilitating customer data management, payment processing, and reporting automatically and in real time. The implementation of this system is expected to improve operational efficiency, enhance data transparency, and minimize errors in the management of clean water distribution. Therefore, this system can assist related institutions in managing clean water distribution more accurately, efficiently, and transparently.Keywords: Clean Water Distribution, Information System, Prototype, Web-Based

Abstract

World Osteoporosis Day (WOD) is celebrated on October 20 every year, to raise global awareness about the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of osteoporosis. Urgency in Indonesia, the number of elderly people is projected to reach 71 million people in 2050, which will have an impact on increasing cases of osteoporosis. Therefore, the recommendations based on scientific evidence in this study aim to assist practitioners in preventing osteoporosis in adults and children. This study proposes a method of Improving K-Means Performance through Seeds. The performance of the K-Means clustering algorithm is highly dependent on the random selection of initial centroids, which can lead to unstable clusters, suboptimal local solutions, and increased iterations, particularly in medical datasets such as osteoporosis diagnosis based on family history. Therefore, there is a need for an optimized centroid initialization strategy that can improve clustering accuracy and stability without increasing computational complexity. The dataset used is the osteoporosis dataset as a testing dataset that can be accessed publicly Osteoporosis dataset. The novelty of this study lies in the introduction of Modified Average (MA) approach for centroid initialization, which eliminates random seed dependency and improves clustering stability without increasing computational complexity. From the results of nine experiments with the benchmarking dataset, it can be seen that the method proposed in this study indicates that practically the Proposed method has a tendency to perform better in Rand Index measurement compare to k-means in random seeds.
