Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini memaparkan tentang rancangan pedoman pewartaan kabar baik melalui aktualisasi pelayanan sosial yang dilakukan di lingkungan pemerintahan kota Semarang. Diharapkan para pegawai yang beragama kristiani dapat memanfaatkan program pelayanan sosial menjadi sarana pewartaan kabar baik. Aktualisasi pelayanan sosial bukan hanya sekadar menolong masyarakat dari pelbagai persoalan jasmani, tetapi yang utama yang tidak boleh diabaikan adalah memenuhi kebutuhan jiwa mereka, yaitu keselamatan. Untuk menjawab tujuan tersebut, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan riset dan pengembangan ditunjang oleh studi literatur untuk menghasilkan informasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat rancangan produk, tetapi tidak dilanjutkan dengan menguji rancangan produk tersebut sebelum diimplementasikan. Ditarik simpulan bahwa pelayanan sosial merupakan bagian integral dari pelayanan pemberitaan kabar baik. Pelayanan sosial dapat menjadi jembatan untuk mengomunikasikan kabar baik tentang keselamatan dalam Kristus kepada semua yang belum mengenalnya. Untuk memberitakan kabar baik dibutuhkan rancangan pedoman agar dapat berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi dengan masyarakat secara efektif dan efisien tanpa halangan khususnya kultur-budaya masyarakat setempat. Rancangan pedoman pemberitaan kabar baik ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan pendekatan dan strategi yang tepat dalam menyampaikan kabar baik melalui aktualisasi pelayanan sosial.

Abstract

Discipleship is very important in Christianity. Discipleship is a mandate of Christ which is parallel to the mandate of evangelism. Every believer needs to be discipled to be matured toward Christlikeness. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of discipleship implementation in the youth community of GBT Alfa Omega Semarang. To answer the research objectives, a literature approach was used to explain the theoretical study of discipleship and also used a descriptive quantitative method to find out the numerical effectiveness of the application of discipleship in the youth community. The research results obtained by 84% or interpreted in the very good category.

Abstract

Abstract One of the main factors in church growth is the role of the power of the Holy Spirit in enabling humanity to respond to the preaching of the Gospel. However, to this day, there are still doubts in some church circles about the continuation of the power of the Holy Spirit as happened on the day of Pentecost, especially in the polemic "speaking in tongues as an initial sign of Spirit baptism". Researchers seek to bridge differences and build a comprehensive construction of teaching tongues for all groups, and benefit optimal growth of faith and fullness of the congregation. The method in this research is analysis with a qualitative approach which focuses on the problems of this biblical study on differences in the hermeneutical basis (interpretation) of texts, phrases and verses which cause differences in the teaching of tongues. The researcher concludes that speaking in tongues is an initial sign for believers who have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, because this is the sign worn and experienced by the New Testament people in accordance with the fulfillment of God the Father's promise. The various works of the Holy Spirit which are described differently must be understood as a manifestation of cooperation between the person of the Holy Spirit and every believer.Keywords: Baptism of the Holy Spirit; Spirit-filled; The gift of the spirit; Tongues.AbstrakSalah satu faktor utama pertumbuhan gereja adalah peran kuasa Roh Kudus yang memampukan  umat manusia meresponi pemberitaan Injil. Namun hingga hari ini, masih ada keraguan sebagian kalangan gereja terhadap keberlanjutan kuasa Roh Kudus seperti yang terjadi di hari Pentakosta, khususnya dalam polemik “berbahasa roh sebagai tanda awal baptisan Roh”. Peneliti berupaya menjembatani perbedaan dan membangun sebuah konstruksi pengajaran bahasa roh yang komprehensif bagi semua kalangan, dan memberi manfaat pertumbuhan iman dan kepenuhan yang optimal dari jemaat. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang memfokuskan kepada permasalahan studi biblika ini kepada perbedaan landasan hermeneutika (penafsiran) teks, frasa dan ayat yang menyebabkan perbedaan pengajaran bahasa roh. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa berbahasa roh adalah tanda awal bagi orang percaya yang telah menerima baptisan Roh Kudus, karena inilah tanda yang dikenakan dan dialami umat Perjanjian Baru sesuai penggenapan janji Allah Bapa. Ragam karya Roh Kudus yang digambarkan secara berbeda harus dipahami sebagai perwujudan kerjasama antara pribadi Roh Kudus dengan setiap orang percaya.Kata kunci: Baptisan Roh Kudus; Dipenuhi Roh; Karunia roh; Bahasa roh.

Abstract

Abstrak Masa lansia menimbulkan kekuatiran yang mendalam, sebab menurunnya kesehatan, kemampuan fisik dan psikis sehingga mempunyai tingkat ketergantungan yang tinggi pada orang lain. Lansia bahagia dan produktif hanya dapat tercapai bila terpenuhinya kebutuhan psychological well being. Gereja yang peduli pada lansia adalah gereja yang menghargai usia lanjut sebagai berkat dari Allah. Kajian literatur dan survei lapangan digunakan dalam meneropong berbagai permasalahan lansia, untuk merumuskan bentuk-bentuk pendampingan pastoral yang perlu segera dilakukan gereja bagi lansia, agar terbentuk lansia yang bahagia dan terus produktif bagi lingkungannya. Psychological well being pada lansia dapat terpenuhi bila gereja memberikan pendampingan pastoral penerimaan diri, membangun kemandirian, pengembangan pribadi, tujuan hidup, hubungan sosial dan penguasaan lingkungan.AbstractThe elderly period causes deep scare, because health, physical and psychological abilities decline, resulting in a high level of dependence on other people. Cheerful and beneficial seniors can only be achieved if their psychological well-being needs are met. A church that cares for the elderly is a church that values old age as a blessing from God. Literature review and field surveys are used to examine various problems of the elderly, to design forms of pastoral assistance that the Church needs to immediately implement for the elderly, in order to create elderly people who are happy and continue to be productive for their environment. Psychological well being in the elderly can be fulfilled if the church provides pastoral assistance in self-acceptance, building independence, personal development, life goals, social relationships, and mastery of the environment.

Abstract

Some Christian figures state that the exorcism service is only relevant in the era of the Ancient Church, which was still thick with the context of idol worship and is no longer relevant today. The deliverance service is generally also understood as one carried out only once in a prayer meeting per person, without any other deliverance prayers or further spiritual guidance. The purpose of this study is to find an explanation of the post-departure prayer service that is relevant. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The study results showed three forms of post-delivery prayer services: observation of the causes of possession by the power of darkness, continued deliverance prayers, and spiritual guidance. A church that does only one deliverance prayer service for each person (without any follow-up service) is the same as allowing eight evil spirits to return and destroy that person.AbstrakAda tokoh Kristen yang menyatakan bahwa pelayanan pelepasan (eksorsisme) hanya relevan di masa Gereja Purba yang masih kental dengan konteks penyembahan berhala, dan tidak lagi relevan pada masa kini. Pelayanan pelepasan umumnya juga dipahami sebagai pelayanan yang dilakukan hanya satu kali pertemuan doa saja pada tiap pribadi, tanpa ada doa pelepasan lanjutan ataupun bimbingan rohani lanjutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menemukan penjelasan tentang pelayanan pasca doa pelepasan yang relevan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tiga bentuk pelayanan pasca doa pelepasan, yaitu observasi penyebab kerasukan kuasa kegelapan, doa pelepasan lanjutan dan bimbingan rohani. Gereja yang melakukan hanya satu kali pelayanan doa pelepasan pada tiap pribadi (tanpa ada pelayanan lanjutan), sama halnya dengan memberikan kesempatan delapan roh jahat untuk kembali dan menghancurkan orang itu

Abstract

The church is currently experiencing quality growth. This can be seen from the congregation who is enthusiastic in attending every worship in the church, the congregation presents on time and the congregation consistently comes despite bad weather conditions. Quality growth in this church is also proved by the presence of eight new members who are baptized. This shows that the congregation and the church both want to experience growth together in quality where the church becomes a means for the congregation to be able to grow themselves in a quality manner.

Abstract

Students of class 26 in Alfa Omega Semarang Theological College of Semarang has an incomplete understanding about the Character of Virtuous Women which brings impact on their behavior and some of them didn’t carry out their obligations as Christian women. Therefore, this research is done to know their understanding level about the character of godly women according to the Book of Ruth in Alfa Omega Semarang Theological College of Semarang. This research use quantitative method of descriptive type. The understanding level of 26th female college about the character of godly women according to the Book of Ruth in Alfa Omega Semarang Theological College of Semarang categorized as high level.

Abstract

Gift-oriented ministry is one of the factors influencing church growth. a church that implements the utilization of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, then the church will experience church growth. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine whether there is a positive and significant influence between the utilization of the gifts of the Holy Spirit by God's servants on the growth of the church at Gereja Beth-El Tabernakel (GBT) Kristus Penebus Boyolali. This research uses quantitative methods and this research is in the form of a population and using a sample. Thus the hypothesis which states whether there is a positive and significant influence between the utilization of the gifts of the Holy Spirit by God's servants on the growth of the church at GBT Kristus Penebus Boyolali is accepted.

Abstract

Ignorance of the gifts of the Holy Spirit can be the cause of the backward growth of the Church. Researh was conducted to find out how the congregation's understanding of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is based on 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 in Beth-El Tabernacle Christ Alpha Omega church, Temanggung. This research is a qualitative research with one variable. From these questions, the results of this study indicate that 79% of the congregation have understood. Then the other 21% of the congregation do not understand all the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are written in 1 Cor 12:7-11.

Abstract

To be led by the Spirit means to be regulated to live in harmony with God. When a believer lives a life that tends to be led by the Spirit and obeys God, it can be manifested in the fruit of the Spirit that is produced. So, the purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a positive influence between the understanding of life being led by the Spirit on the implementation of life in the fruit of the Spirit Galatians 5:22-25 students of class 28 and 29 at the Alfa Omega Christ Theological College Semarang. Then it was found that the understanding of life being led by the Spirit contributed to the implementation of life in the fruit of the Spirit by 80.8% or included in the very strong category
